Continuing our night in Omiya This restaurant serves delicious fish, so we had sashimi, grilled sardines, grilled sea bream, stewed summer vegetables, and more 😋 The price is a bit expensive, but it was a nice and lively restaurant 😅🤗. Next up was Azumamine, which was also a first for me 😙 and it was delicious 😍. I don't remember how to describe the taste 😅 it was just so good 😊. After that we switched to 🍋lemon sours and since the restaurant was 2.5 hours open, we ended the meal with salmon ikura takikomi-gohan (rice cooked with salmon roe) and were very satisfied! Since it was still early, we moved to a restaurant in the station building to talk over dessert! My son ordered a parfait😄We looked at the menu and thought we would have a glass of champagne, but the bottle seemed more economical than a glass, so we ordered a bottle 🍾. The waiter opened the bottle and put it on the table! We were a little bit surprised when the waiter opened the bottle in front of our table and put it on the table 😅. We drank a lot with Fish & Chips and had a good conversation with my son, even though it was a short time 😌. Omiya was a great city 😇

I've accumulated a lot of alcohol that I drank during the Bon vacations 😅I'm going to start raising it now 🤗First, let's start with the events of the sea day on 8/11! Nobby suggested to his son, "Why don't you go back to Utsunomiya once in a while? Nobby suggested to his son, "Why don't you go back to Utsunomiya once in a while?" but he said it's too far away and it's too much trouble 😩 He asked if we have any business in Tokyo, but we decided to meet him in Omiya, which is halfway between Utsunomiya and Tokyo, because it's expensive to stay in Tokyo🤔. ‼️ It was a sudden decision, and not being familiar with Omiya, we searched for a good izakaya on ☹️YouTube and made a reservation at a slightly more expensive place called "Futatsume" 😊. Today we arrived earlier than planned 🎤 at 5:00pm in Omiya - and at J&N, duoing like Masayuki Suzuki and Momoko Kikuchi! Wandered around the station area and then met up with my son and moved to a restaurant about a 10 minute walk 💦. We had ordered sashimi when we made our reservation, so we were immediately presented with a magnificent sashimi dish 😍. We toasted with a fine beer first since it was hot and humid 🍻 and then moved on to sake! We looked at the menu and chose a dry sake that we had never had before, which we later found out was the Takihama sake! This would later turn out to be a ⁉️. 😆 I knew a dry sake would go well with Sashimi 😋! The waitress explained everything to us in detail and all the sashimi was delicious 🤗. The night in Omiya continues 🍶...

The series of "never had" drinks is still going on! I was intrigued by the sake shop's pop-up and the cosmic view 🌌 of the appearance, and was curious about this one! Takebayashi-san from Okayama Sake, which I haven't had since my last visit to Kansai. ‼️ Cygnus means Cygnus Cygnus, the swan 🤗. I'll make love to you! The aroma is like a whiff 😌. The first sip is refreshing 😙 and then the fruity aroma comes through to the nose☺️This crisp summer sake was delicious 😋. Now, if you commented on my last post, you may know that I have a report on the chickadees. We found 🪺 on 7/31 and about a week later 🐣x5 birds were born 🥹 from Saturday to Monday. From then on, the parent birds were very busy 💦 always mating and watching from afar as one of them kept watch and fed 🔍. And every morning when the parent birds were not around, I took a video of the piños🐣 and shared it with the family line! Everyone was looking forward to watching the piños grow up 😌. But..! Friday morning, Nobby screamed😱When I went to check, 4 birds were gone and one was dead in the nest😨I think it was probably done by a crow... When I come back from outings, I can see where they were and I think I can hear the cries of the piños 🥺. I started this chickadee diary 📓 on my own. I'm sorry I made everyone who read it sad too😔.

This is a bottle that Nobby got together with Nanamizu Spark, and surprisingly, it is the first Takeyuki that we have never had. ‼️ This time it is definitely a sparkling wine! Last month, when I was in Ichikawa for a while, I went to Sake no Oikawa to buy some Chiba sake, and I got a simple label of Kochihigashi Kaimori. ‼️ I'll make love to you The aroma is sweet and fruity 😌. The sip is a little sweet and round like the Dewazakura 😙 with a touch of acidity that makes it fresher 😚 It gets better with each sip! By the way, this is about the week before last. Inspired by Aladdin's and Momochi's post a while ago, I went to TDL🥳Yajima Sake Shop while I was in Ichikawa 🤗. We were going to take the train 🚃 and almost walked a bit, but the heat 🥵 was too much for us and we switched to the car! And then we took a short drive with my sister and her daughter who said 🤗 if we want to go by car, we can go by car too🚙. The store was smaller than I expected but they had a fun selection to look at😊and they offered us a variety of drinks if we asked 🤗We were looking at the drinks lined up together and my sister and daughter were slightly taken back while saying how great we knew almost all of them 😳😅. We ended up getting 3 bottles that we had never had before ‼️ The third picture is of the outside of Yajima-san and the Chardonnay sparkling wine that my sister bought before I did 😄😊.

When I went to buy the first bottle of Nanamizu, which was not sparkling, I decided to buy at least two more bottles! When I went to buy the first non-sparkling bottle of Nanamizu, I was looking at the fridge and was curious about the label that gave the impression of THE sake, so I took him here: ‼️ This is the first in the "Let's try something you've never had before" series! This is Dewazakura, the first in the "Let's try a sake we've never had before series! I'll make love to you! The aroma is sweet and fruity 😌. I thought it would be a dry sake, but it is quite sweet 😙There is some acidity, but "gorgeous" is the next best word for this one after J&N! It's like a gorgeous but light food wine 😙. By the way, we watched the Edogawa fireworks display the weekend before last from the parking lot of my father's apartment building, and it was a bit disappointing because the wind direction was bad that day and the smoke came first and stayed there for a long time, hiding the fireworks 😓. And in the second half of the day, paper shavings and dust from the fireworks were falling down 😳When I looked at my car the next morning, there was quite a lot of trash 🙁 🙁 But the sound and atmosphere of the fireworks was great and everyone enjoyed the fireworks. But we all enjoyed the sound and atmosphere of the fireworks while drinking beer 🍻 and my father sat in his wheelchair and watched for about an hour until the end😇. Then the next morning my dad woke up with a cheerful "Gummoni~ng 👋" and my sister asked him "How were the fireworks last night?" I asked him. He said, "You had fireworks 🙄 where?" Yes! I was on a roll from the morning 🤣.

For those of you who read last night's post and thought 😏they would definitely buy it...you are correct...you know your J&N's ‼️! I was so frustrated 😢Noby quickly went to another store to get it 😏. This time it's definitely labeled "sparkling" 🧐and it's pretty smoky😳. I'll make love to you as soon as I get a mouthful of shwash The back label also says "Beware of blowing out ⚠️" and I carefully turn the lid 😰 but surprisingly, the bottle opens without a hitch! Is it safe ⁉️ It doesn't foam much when poured into a Riedel glass. The aroma is sweet and fruity. I take a sip and yes, I've been waiting for this! Schwah~...sch... ❔n⁉️ time has stopped? ⌛️ you're the only one who drank it too fast and didn't feel the schwah feeling... It's a sweet and sour white wine with a beautiful acidity that we like 😙 and of course it's delicious, but it didn't live up to the schwah mouthfeel 😢. When I opened the lid after mixing the cage, I could hear the sound of the cage being opened! It's very slightly carbonated. But it was so good that I drank it quickly! And the second comparison picture! Hmmm? I mean it's pretty different 🤔 well... 😅 I hope you guys don't make a mistake 😉. I wanted more schwarziness, Tochigi love 🥰.

The first sip shows that this is a wine-like sake with a great balance of sweet and sour with a citrusy taste 🤗yeah, yummy 😙. This is a bottle that Jay had been wanting to drink since last year but hadn't been able to buy 🥲. Nobby had bought it for us as a souvenir 🤗. It has a nice acidity and a light bitterness 😙11.5°C, not too sweet 😙. It's like a firework went off and was gone before it even opened 😆. But I forgot to take a picture of the grilled chicken 😩. By the way, let me tell you about the first half of last week. When I told the teacher at Kurata-san that Hanzo was not sold there, he said, "It's sold at some other places. I asked him where ❗️ and where ⁉️ he said Fukudaya! In Tochigi, it's a department store called FKD! So I went there right away and found Hanzo, the fireplace! And while I was looking at the others, I found Ike-Nishiki's sake brewery: ‼️ Back in January, I heard on the Kenmin-kai LINE that "the new Ike-Nishiki is in trouble! I was really curious about it! On the other hand, I forgot to buy Hanzo😅. And since we decided to drink Sake Sei on this day, we bought sashimi at Asanoya and snacks at the supermarket while Nobby went to English conversation 🤗. I'm going to make love to you! The aroma is like a wooden vat, and Nobby... well, I don't always know what it is 😅. One sip and eh! My preconception was that it was a classic, but it's a refreshing yet deep flavor 😌 and it gets better and better with each sip 😙. And the sashimi from Asanoya! The tuna was delicious as usual, but the octopus sashimi with a squeeze of kabosu went perfectly with the sake 😍I really hope you try this once 😋. The new Ike-Nishiki! Let's all support Tochigi Ai 🥰!

On this day, the two of us started the morning with cleaning up father's room 🧹after finishing, we took a shower 🚿 had a quick lunch 🚙 and left for the sake shop "Sasagura Narimasu" that "Momochi-san" had mentioned 🚙. What? I arrived there via a road that I was sure was the right one, but it was closed 😓. We had no choice but to move on to Sake no Oikawa and try something we'd never had before! We were chosen to go to Oikawa Sake, and the first one to be selected was Ei, from Shizuoka Sake 🤗. I'll make love to you in Chiba The aroma is fruity 😌. The first sip is sweet and sour Eikun 🫰! It was light and easy to drink because it's 13° 😙. I heard it tastes like second love 😉. After the lunchtime drink I mentioned yesterday, I went to take a peek at a model room advertisement for a large condominium that was being built near my father's house! When I arrived at the place, I was asked "Do you have an appointment?" I was just chilling 😅. I was shown several rooms and the last one I saw was a 4LDK on the top floor for 100 million yen😵‍💫 hehe~... I might buy it if there was a discount of 99 million yen or so😅I need to seriously think about my future life plan 😅! I'll have to seriously think about my life plan 🤔. I'll buy more summer jumbo than usual first 😆. If I buy a million dollars, I might change to Chiba Ai 🥰!

I got this bottle at a liquor store when I visited the corner for the first time a while ago! I remember singing "The Breath of the Mountain" at a chorus contest... I'll make love to you The aroma is slightly sweet 😌. The first sip is slightly sweet, but the acidity that follows it 😙 and the sharpness that comes through even more makes it a beautiful, easy-drinking 13% 😋. It was delicious 👋 Last Monday AM, my sister and I went to visit a grave in Shinjuku 🚙 and had lunch at Chinese restaurant 😊 in Ichikawa station building. Jay: "I'm going to 🍺! I left the car and walked for it." Nobby: "It's Bethcon in this heat, of course I'm going too." So my sister was swallowed up by the wave and the three of us toasted 🍻Ku~😙Now that's the best lunchtime drink ever! After that, we ran some errands and then went back to izakaya (Japanese-style pubs) for the night! My daughter and her boyfriend joined us and we enjoyed a party of five 😄. As a result, last week turned out to be an all-you-can-drink week 😅 so this week will be no sake 😑. So I've already posted a series of posts, but I'll be posting every day for a while about the sake I was drinking! Enjoy~👋

Mashidaya has just started to carry it, so Nobby was quick to get it for us. ‼️ Yes, it's Genzei! This is Mr. Genzai 🤗. I'll make love to you The aroma is fresh and fruity 😌. The first sip has a soft sweetness and umami along with a slight carbonation 😊plus a beautiful acidity and a great balance 🙄. Something about the sourness lingers on the upper jaw 🙄 Another sip and that sourness seems to spread throughout 😋 I see what you mean! This is the secret of the vertical flavor ‼️ that Kotaro mentioned 🧐 and I was strangely convinced Jay 😄. In summary, it's a bottle of Aizu brewed with a sparkling, chirichiriri-kirakira ✨ and vertical juiciness! It was a very nice one that made me roar 😋. By the way, we stayed with my father in Chiba for 3 nights from last Sunday to Wednesday! Our plan was to visit my sister and father ☺️ Her father, who uses English more and more, probably due to his daughter's influence on him 🇺🇸, every time he does something for her.... I've had it for a while now and it lasts a little while😅 Last month I was looking at sake in the refrigerated room of a liquor store in Chiba, Japan. I was looking for this label for a reason, and it's a Hakuryu which is a series of sake that I've never had before. I'll make love to you The aroma is faintly fruity 😌. I took a sip and it was 😳umma~y‼️ I thought it would be a dry sake, but it's light 😙 and has a nice acidity that we like 👋 and sweetness too 👋 and it's juicy 😋 and then it finishes crisp and clean as the name says 😌 This is a well balanced and delicious bottle. ☺️ And the reason why I was looking for this one... This is actually a label with a scale design on it! The autumn version of this is the model of that person 🤗. When I met my daughter the other day, I asked her, "Can you make a picture of a kid wearing this orange label T-shirt?" I asked her, "Can you make a picture of my child wearing this orange label T-shirt? She made it right away with her smartphone. Here you go🎊. The third one is that "Hiyoroshi-kun" 😆. I'll definitely have to get some of that autumn sake to taste! And I look forward to the day when I can see the grown-up Hiyaoroshi-kun again in the forest 🌳 on that walking course 😊.

That was the second bottle of this season's Semi Shigure at ‼️ I've been missing sweet and sour tastes like this after a long time of refreshing drinks 😙, but if I keep drinking them like this, I'll start wanting to drink them again 😅The order in which you drink them is important 🧐. Sunday afternoon we moved to Ichikawa, where Jay's father lives, to support my sister 🚙 and on this day we had a welcome party 🎉 for my daughter's boyfriend 🇺🇸 who came back to Japan 🥳 We hadn't seen each other since GW, but this time he will start his 3 years in Japan ‼️ My sister joined us and we all went shopping for drinks for the evening! Then, we added some salt fried chicken that Nobby made at his request, and the party started 😄. A week ago😅On this day, Jay was live in the early morning with Otani starting the game! And Nobby was cheering in his dreams 📣The Dodgers' losing streak was stopped 😊Let's go out for lunch once in a while! and left on the bus 🚌 before noon! I went to a restaurant I was interested in, but it was closed for lunch on Sundays, so I got sucked into "Sushi Hana Tei" where there was a sign supporting lunchtime drinking! The waitress in an anime character voice gave us a flowing explanation 😆 We ordered sashimi, tempura and fried food and toasted with beer 🍻! I had a quick drink and looked at the menu on the wall and thought, "Oh! After that, we enjoyed Benten Yamahane and Kariho's Kisamon dry sake, and finished with these three bottles 😊Next, let's go to the liquor store! Next stop: Utsunomiya Station💦. While looking at the liquor store in the station building, I saw a sign that said "Kaku-uchi (corner drinking)" and moved to the space next to it, which may sound surprising 😅J&N's first Kaku-uchi (corner drinking): ‼️ Here we had Kozaemon Pile Driver and Horaiizumi Shiboritate, which Satsuyu-san was drinking! Both were delicious 😊. After returning home, I only had a light beer 🍺 for the night. Conclusion: It was fun to drink during the day after a long time 😄!

I was told by Mr. Piro that the price will be raised to 6,000 yen per person 🥲...we were talking about it in J&N... Well, the party started without the owner 😆 After about 30 minutes, the teacher finally came back to the restaurant with something🤗What is it? I wondered what it was, but in a small voice that sounded like it was about to disappear, he said in a tearful voice, "I thought I'd give everyone some good sashimi 😇" 🥹. I'm sorry I didn't know how you felt 😍I'm sorry I toasted without your permission 🥲I think my sake tasted even better than usual😙. So, as usual, we started drinking and talking from 5:00 pm, and before we knew it, it was 10:00 pm 😆 We stay longer because it's so cozy We left Kurata and moved on to the after-party with Sashiu, Yasusake, Nirutaro, Kotori, and Hiro! But when we saw the price of regular izakaya (Japanese style pubs), we realized again how good Kurata is 😳 We were so lucky 😌 We had Imi and Sawahime at this place. ‼️ If Kurata-san can accommodate 20 people 🙄 we can invite everyone who wants to join 😅I hope they can expand the restaurant somehow 😌. Conclusion: the at-home prefects' party was awesome 😊.
