I know this is back and forth 😅Last Saturday, I had a craving for Mac 🍔. I had a craving for mac🍔 that day, so I stopped by Mekada Sake Shop and got 4 bottles👍I also entered the lottery for No.6 🙏. Normally I would go for a walk in the afternoon, but I didn't have the motivation to go to ☹️ and before I knew it, it was evening... "I'm so tired 😩" and we 😅, but we need some sashimi for tonight's feast 🤔. Okay‼️ and we're all hip if it's a snack to drink 😆We quickly prepared it and got some great tuna sashimi and firefly squid at Asanoya, the place we go when we have to 🤗Now we can drink with peace of mind☺️ And the red one? I'm going to drink it with a glass of wine and a glass of sake! I'll make love to you with all my heart! The aroma is crisp 😌. I'm sure you'll love it 😌 I'm sure you'll love it 😋 This sourness is good for us ‼️ acidity skiers and goes perfectly with the tasty sashimi👍 And. Another Tsumami is the Giants vs Dodgers game⚾️ but we haven't watched any Japanese baseball games😅The pitcher who won the rookie of the year award last year for the Giants is also new to us😅"Funabasama" is written as "Funadomari"! I can't read sake, but I can't read this one either 😆.

There are some drinks I haven't listed yet 😅I will list the ones I drank yesterday first! MLB⚾Dodgers vs Cubs game started in Tokyo‼️ and the dinner table was fully prepared for the party when I got home👍. I looked over and there was Nobby in his Ohtani uniform 😄 He was very enthusiastic 😄. We took a picture in front of the TV, and at the annual sake open 😆 before the play ball, Tochigi Sake of Dodger Blue was chosen as the opening pitcher! That's right, it's Mr. Zanrezhiki 🤗. I'm going to make love to him first and wish him all the best 👍. I'll make love to you first ♬ I take a sip! I love the sweetness in the back, but it's as sharp as Mr. Yamamoto's split 😙. The pitching match between Imanaga and Yamamoto was tense and the game was progressing at a good tempo 😙The dry sake went down smoothly and we were already empty in the second inning😅. After a quick call to the bullpen and a consultation with the drink coach, we decided to give the bullpen (the kids in the fridge) a break since we had a game (banquet) tomorrow and asked our overseas helper, Highball🥃, to make an emergency appearance 🫡. He was a great help 😙. So I drank a little too much yesterday 😵 and today I'm watching the game in a relaxed atmosphere with a cup of tea🍵.

I have seen the reservation information every year on SNS for Kuheiji! I had never made a reservation until now 🤔. But last year, your post on ❗️ about the sake wine caught my attention 😋 and I made up my mind to make a reservation this year for sure🤗. So I got it for the first time this year and it's been resting in the fridge, but I got impatient when I saw all the posts from people saying they were told they should drink it as soon as possible 💦. Friday night Nobby asked me, "What do you want to drink today? I'm going to have a cup of Kuheiji ‼️ I'll make love to you! The aroma is mildly fruity 😌. It's easy to drink, refreshing, not too spicy, not too sweet, just right 😚 and it goes down very nicely 😋. On the other hand, you should also enjoy the change of taste! Nao888 advised me to use Nobby as a brake in order to enjoy it 👍. Nao888 advised me to "put on the brakes for the sake of enjoyment! But instead of braking, we 😅 were drinking vigorously with the gas pedal on full throttle. But instead of braking, we were drinking at full throttle 😅! It's not cloudy ⁉️" We didn't see the label that says "light nigori" in the first place😅. We were like, "I don't know anything about nigori people" 😆. In the end, it was a quick kill 😙We ended the day with a cup of tea to prepare for the weekend baseball game ⚾️ 😁.

We were both sake-less on the weekend when we went our separate ways😑. We were supposed to put off sake until this weekend 🥲... but when Jay came home on Monday of our reunion, he received a happy invitation from Nobby, who said, "I was suspected of spying 🕵️ on Tochigi sake at Sake-no-wa, so I thought I'd have a drink 🤭! Oh~! Let's drink it 😋" and the chosen drink was Kirizukuba ‼️ which was recommended by Manachie and I definitely wanted to drink it, and this choice shows the depth of nostalgia of the people of Tochigi Prefecture 😉. There was no "Kogiri" which Aladdin and Mamio were drinking 🥲, but this one was a definite favorite 😙Noby stopped by Ikeda Sake Shop on his way from Utsunomiya to his parents' house in Chiba 🚗 about a month ago and got it for us 🥹. It goes well with grilled fish, so we prepared some accompaniments for dinner 🤗. I'll make love to you! The aroma is lemon flavor! Oh, it's because I squeezed lemon in the dish 😅It's soft and fruity 😌. The first sip is even sweet at the first touch 😍Hey? My first impression is that this is a big dry one 😌. But as you continue to drink it, it gradually becomes more and more dry and crisp 😚. Nice dry 👍 It certainly goes well with the grilled fish of the day! There are many good Ibaraki sake 🤗.

Hello Jay & Nobby😄This is a sake from Ibaraki called Kiri-Tsukuba! I've seen a lot of sake labeled as "very dry", but many of them have a surprisingly umami or sweet taste! It goes well with grilled fish. I would like to try it.

Last weekend, Nobby went to his son's house for cleaning 🧹 and Jay went to Utsunomiya to take care of some business 😑. This time, Nobby was worried about his room because he hadn't seen it in 8 months 😰 He asked his son how it was doing and his son offered to clean up the biggest mess ever 😫 "You should clean up a little bit," said Nobby 🥺. He replied "I haven't looked at the floor in a long time😅".... So we decided to have a drink on Thursday night since we were going out early in the morning on Saturday 🤗. The chosen drinker was one of the 4 brothers I brought from a liquor store in Chiba, Motomine Tsuru, who I became a fan of at once after receiving a bottle of Autumn Sake about a year and a half ago 🤩. I'll make love to you! The aroma is mild and already tasty 😚. I'm sure you'll love it! I'll bring them back next time I see them! We both agreed 🤝. This is exciting 🥳! After cleaning up, they enjoyed sightseeing in Toyosu! Today is his son's birthday 🎂 I know it's a lot of work 🥲 but it looks like he's leaving his mark, so don't work too hard 👋.

That day I had asked Nobby to buy something at Mashidaya, but in the evening I casually looked at my phone and found on Mashidaya's social networking site that it was the first brand to be shipped out of the prefecture and had just been born 🤩 I was thinking 😫 Oh, I should have asked for it.... When I got home and opened the fridge while talking about it, I saw the No. 4 bottle I saw on SNS in front of me 😳‼️ Eh~! How did you know that ⁉️ I was curious about something 🧐 I checked 🧐 Sake no Wa and Jive had raised it last July! And Nobby😙 says proudly It's a quintessential 🥹 sake telepathy born of 31 years of marriage 😉 So this will be the series I've never drank 🤗 Mr. Seven Days. I'll make love to you I'll make love to you ♬ I'll make love to you ♬ I'll make love to you I love this one 😍It has a nice, gentle flavor on the palate with a clean aftertaste 😋 and it's only 13 degrees so it went down easy 😙. I've always been curious about Yuma, so I'm glad to see it in Tochigi Prefecture as well 😊. By the way, on the way home from the liquor store last week 🚙I had a craving for ice cream so I stopped by Ministop 🚙 and had a soft serve and parfait 👍I wish Ministop had a dessert near me 🥹.

I'd like to announce a change of players... ♪ This is another one I brought from Chiba, and I got it because I was strangely interested in the words "King of Sake" written discreetly on the front label at first sight! I'll make love to you! The aroma is nothing. The first sip is a bit dry, but the difference between sweet and spicy is too much! There's so much difference between sweet and spicy that people who don't like spicy wine will be a bit upset if they drink them in this order😅. If I were to use an analogy, in the midst of a modern and glamorous drinking party, a man sitting alone at the end of the table drinking quietly 😌 "Why don't you come over here and have a drink and make a fuss! When someone calls out to him... "I...am the king of dry sake... 🙂‍↔️" It's like that. Hiro! I will use it here 😁. Nice dry 👍 Ah! I also enjoyed the second day's Matsuo pride 😚. Well, it was a beautiful Saturday! We heard that the girls were going to have eel for their last supper in Japan, so we left ‼️ around 11:00 for lunch at a nearby eel restaurant 😋! We ate it quickly and went to a liquor store far away because it was a good day for driving ☀️ 🚙 Well, we had a cooler box on the car when we left home😅. Arrived at the liquor store and viewed the art! I usually stock up on at least 6 bottles, but they were all out of what I wanted 🥲This time I brought 4 bottles of a brand that was new to me 🤗.

My daughter & him 🇺🇸 visit report Final We talked until about 3am on Sunday night 😅. And Monday lunch was bought by my daughter and him! Thanks a lot 😊. Then we went to Penny Lane, a popular 🍞bakery🥐, and each bought what we wanted 🚙. We had coffee ☕️ and tea 🫖 and talked about the differences between 🇯🇵🇺🇸, the difficulties of conversation, and the future, and then it was time to go home 🥺. Three days passed in a blink of an eye 😢I dropped them off at the station 👋 and got home before 5:00pm! I was so tired 😓We took a half hour nap 💤. We woke up and talked about dinner. I thought I'd skip the alcohol today with the leftovers. But I'm thirsty, so I'll have just one beer? I look in the fridge and think... let's go for the booze 🤗. So here's what I was going to open on the first day! Nobby bought this checkered red-and-white Chiebijin for a special occasion after seeing Sake-no-wa: ‼️ We were talking about having just a light drink with the leftovers 😅I took a sip... it's easy to drink with sweet acidity and pleasant gassiness 😚 This is certified to be ridiculously tasty: ✌️ By the time I said I'm going to call it a day 😌, it was already empty... what? Report on the visit of my daughter & her boyfriend 🇺🇸 (3) At first, we were nervous in the quiet restaurant, but gradually we started to relax 🤗. We saw the owner was dodging the bits of the Tsumami and said, "I'll have some of that too! I'll have some of that too! Sorry for the loss of food 😅. Next up was the tuna 🥹 which the owner is proud to say is one of the top three tuna of all time. I had the marinated red and fatty tuna, which made me want to meditate and look up to the heavens when I put it in my mouth 😇. He said this place is by far the best in all of Washington DC 😍. Nobby gestured and said "you...this restaurant...like...fish" in his native tongue, and the owner laughed when his daughter said "That's Lou Oshiba 🤣" 😁He was all smiles when he heard it 😊. I'll take that as a yes! He served me salted fish and dancing whitebait! He was surprised by the dancing fish 🫢 but it was delicious too 😙. And now, the sake we drank during that time🤗! The first one was Sengoku Risshun Asashibori! It was past its prime and there were only a few left, but it was nice to have something that brought us good luck 😋! Next was Shichihon-yari! We've had it at home before and it was consistently good 😙Finish with Tobiroki for a refreshing finish👍. We were all very satisfied 😊It was expensive but it was a precious moment to experience something out of the ordinary 😌. This is my 50th bottle of Sentori 🥰🥰🇺🇸 to be continued

Daughter & he 🇺🇸 visit report (2) On Saturday, we stayed up late until after 2:00 a.m. 🥱. But we are old enough to wake up early, so we went for our usual walk in the morning 👍returned before noon, but they were still dreaming 😴. They woke up around midnight! It's a proof of youth to be able to sleep till noon😅But my daughter said she could sleep well for the first time in a while 😌I'm happy as a parent 😄. After that, we all had a leisurely Japanese breakfast brunch, and in the evening we took a bus 🚌 into the city! When we got off the bus, he said "Thank you 🇯🇵" and then Nobby said "Thank you 🇺🇸". Not the other way around: ⁉️. Our destination was a nice sushi restaurant with only 7 seats at the counter, which was reserved just for us that day! We ordered a course with many snacks and toasted with beer first, then asked what kind of sake they had. We started with the Hikakami from the list! I knew it would be perfect with the fish 😋. He said he had never had such a great fish before 😊 and his smile said he was glad we came 🥹. J&N's sake was also on tap, followed by Yamasan's Sanke Nishiki Usu Nigori! I'm so glad I had a chance to try it 😙. Next up was Yamasan's Sanke Nishiki Usunigori, which I've been wanting to try, so I'm happy! It had a clean aftertaste and went well with the fish👍! Last weekend was a three-day weekend with a lot of substance😅. My daughter and he arrived at Utsunomiya station in the early afternoon on Saturday 🇺🇸 and we immediately went to our favorite restaurant, Karan, to eat gyoza🥟, followed by his request to eat Tochiotome🍓 ice cream😋, which made 80% of all the Tochigi food 😆. After that, we all stopped by the supermarket and headed home! The party consisted of Nooby's deep-fried fish paste with salt! And in the center of the table, my daughter led the party with 🐙takoyaki 🌕 + more 😋! The sake was a Kyoto souvenir he brought me! I'm Shensei, who decided to drink something he's never had before🤗‼️ I'm going to make love to you! I love the sweet and fruity taste 😊He and my daughter said it was good but they only had one cup 😅We both enjoyed it 😙. His English was interpreted by my daughter for Nobby😄Noby also showed off the words he knew and his gorgeous body language🤗He said his English had improved 3 times 🥹. Then we drank highballs 🥃and had a nice conversation 😊and for some reason we decided to play Blackbeard's Crisis and instead we flew into the air with a cute beanstalk 😆 which flew 3 times as far as Blackbeard and we laughed so hard 🤣. From there, we moved on to UNO! The time went by and before we knew it, it was 2am🥱. I guess I was overdoing it from the first day. ⁉️ to be continued

I was curious about this place because I saw it on Mashidaya's SNS and T.KISO was also drinking it, so I asked Nobby to run an errand for me along with Sawahime12 🤗. Here is "Mimuro Sugi" which I haven't drank at home for more than a year since Orikagarami ‼️ I'll make love to you The aroma is sweet and fruity: ☺️ I took a sip and the umami army came in with a bang, and then the acidity team came in with a bang 😊Well, I mixed the oli with ‼️ with everyone else and it made it even more consistent and definitely more tasty 😋. By the way, my daughter and her boyfriend 🇺🇸 are finally coming to our house this weekend😊and in preparation for that, I took an English conversation lesson with voice translation on my phone while drinking this day 🧑‍🏫 As we were talking, I googled 🤔 to find out how to say cram school in English and came up with cram school. I tried to pronounce it as "cram" and the voice translation heard [crime: crime] and said 🤨No, no, no! You don't have a crime school 😠. Okay! And when I said it with a slightly different pronunciation, this time it was heard as grandmother: ☹️...ehh, I can't get through that much 😫.... Well, they say that body language is 55% of the impression a person gives to others when they speak 😅I guess that's where Nobby, who is very good at this, comes into play 🤗.

Let's buy something we've never had before! Series 🤗When Nobby went to a liquor store far away 🚗, takeshon-san recommended a cosy one, so I got this one: ‼️ The specs aren't disclosed, but it's said to be a gem that has been carefully polished to the core of the rice 🤩. I'll make love to you The aroma is sweet and reminds me of tropical fruits. I take a sip and oh 😙 this is the first solid sweetness I've tasted in a long time 😋 I think I've tasted this rich sweetness somewhere before 🧐 but I can't remember where at all 😓. The sweetness is complemented by a moderate bitterness, but the sweetness still prevails 😅I couldn't finish it in one day, so I had to split it between two days 😌I could go for sweet 😌... By the way, last weekend we both went to Jay's father's place in Chiba 🚙 before going shopping at "Sake no Oikawa" where we usually stop by 😉 Some say this is the true purpose of our visit 🤭. We got a total of 4 bottles, the one we were after and the one that somehow caught our eye 👍now off to his father we go‼️ When I arrived at the apartment, I put the kids in the fridge🤗I asked them to lie down with their father's favorite Calpis water so I could stand them up 😆 sorry 🙏. But it was a relief to see them gaining weight and feeling better this weekend☺️

Wednesday. Nobby smiles, "I bought a cake 🍰 today😊." Hmm? I thought 🤔 that it's a little early but it means it's a pre-ceremony celebration 🤔 and I said, "That's Friday, right?" I said, "What? Our wedding anniversary is today, right? I was wrong 🤣Wednesday was our estimated 31st wedding anniversary🤗. We decided to celebrate that day with a small celebration at coffee ☕️ and save the celebratory drink for the weekend! Now, where do you think the celebratory drink should be❓ Yes, you guessed right! Yes, all of you who raised your hands are right ‼️ is like a lottery where you can only win 😅. So of course the sake chosen for the celebration was Tochigi sake! Sawa Hime 🤗. The label was renewed in Japanese style with a motif of "juni-hitoe" (twelve-layered kimono), which is a Japanese word for "princess" and "12" in the name of Sawa-hime. I'll make love to you! I'll make love to you! It has a gentle taste and ☺️ is light but has a strong umami on top 😋 It gets better and better the more you drink it 😙. The label on the back says "light and delicious junmai-shu" which is exactly what it says: ‼️ I think this is a perfect bottle for sake beginners! And the entrée of the day was a delivery of kamameshi and sashimi set that my daughter arranged for us for our anniversary 🥹 Thank you very much for your help 😌. Let's walk happily together in our 32nd year, Tochigi Ai🥰.

It's been about a year since Yamazan-san had Hitogokochi last February ‼️ and this time it's the green label Yamae Nishiki that I wanted to drink because of its not too sweet 👍 rating by Sake no Wa 🤗. I had it on my shopping list for Novy 📝, but it was sold out on my last visit to a liquor store and I gave up 😢I was looking forward to next year 😞 and had half given up on it, but the other day I got a happy report 🥳 that "it was there and I bought it". I'll make love to you! The aroma is mildly fruity🥭. It's modern but with a dry eye, it's like a morai 👍As a result, it was the best of the three bottles I had last weekend, and J&N's rating is going up. ⤴️ It was so good that I finished it quickly 😅Switched to a highball 🥃 from here! I was watching and listening to 80's western music on YouTube as I did the other day, learning English lyrics in preparation for the conversation with my daughter's boyfriend who is coming to our house next weekend😅. We also go for our usual walk while checking our English conversation together 😄That makes the time go by surprisingly fast and makes an hour seem like a blink of an eye 🤭It helps to keep our brains active 👍.

Answer announcement of the last post🎊 The bottle opened in the middle of Tenmei was Urakasumi: ‼️ Speaking of Urakasumi... back in the day when my father could drink sake, whenever I went home to my parents' house, Urakasumi Zen always came out and he proudly said 👍"It's important that this Zen is on the back👍"😄I remember we used to drink it together all the time 😌. We were not at all familiar with Sake at that time 😅I don't think it's too much to say that we only knew Urakasumi Zen 😆When we invited overseas guests who used to come to our office to our house, we gave them some as a souvenir 😌. I was attracted by the beautiful blue label on Mashidaya's social networking site and added it to my shopping list for Nobby 🤗. I was somewhat freaked out by the 17 degrees when I saw the label 😨 What do you think? I'll make love to you I took a sip and oh...! I thought it would be very spicy after the Tenmei 😳I thought it would be very spicy after the Tenmei 🤔It has a good amount of umami and sourness and is refreshing but not at all spicy 😙On the contrary, it has a hint of sweetness that keeps my cup going 😋. By the way, yesterday was a national holiday 🎌, but Jay had to work on a compensatory day off for his company 😢. But I still want to take a vacation 🥲.

It was supposed to be a day off from drinking. But when I got home ⁉️ and saw the spring rolls and soba noodles on the table, I gulped and salivated Jay 😗 while Nobby 🥰 said, "It's become a table for drinking. So, the one chosen was our second bottle of Luka 🤗I didn't have an image of it being dry, but I had seen Mashidaya's social networking site and got it! I'll make love to you! The aroma is somewhat refreshing 😌. I'm sure you'll love it with soba noodles 😋. After drinking it for a while, I felt that the sake in the cup was a little cloudy 🤔. I thought, "Oh, this is a cucumber ❓"! I tried to check the sake bottle, but Nobby said "that's the last one".... I was supposed to drink it lightly, but there was no ori left, not even ori 😆I looked at the back of the label and it said there was a little ori 😅. So now that we've been identified as a couple who can't stop drinking 😚 🤤 I think we'll change our name to Jay & Nonby from now on 😆.... ...Oh...! Thank goodness our favorite Kitajima-san ❗️ is sold at our local liquor store 😊. This is the third bottle I've had and so far all of them have been directly pumped Junmai Ginjo Nama 🤗 Each sake rice and sake degree is as shown in the ↓. First bottle: Miyamanishiki -1 Second bottle: Ginbukiyo +7 Third bottle: Yamadanishiki +10 The dryness level is getting higher and higher 🤔. I'll make love to you The aroma is ginjo 😙. The sweetness of the rice makes it easy to drink and it doesn't feel too dry, but it's easy to cut through. I'm sure this is a top Shiga Prefecture! I'm sure this is top of the line in Shiga Prefecture! Well, I was supposed to have a leisurely dinner that day, but it was so good that I finished it by 7:00 😅After that, I switched to tea and watched TV, but there was nothing interesting 😑... 😑. I thought, "Let's try some nostalgic western music...? So I switched to YouTube and watched Queen's Live Aid video! The stage was so impressive with the roaring waves of the audience 🥹It was so refreshing to see 😌.
