Today I stopped by a liquor store for a purpose and found a small bottle of Yokoyama-san's 😄! I had been wanting to try it, so I bought it immediately! It was my first time to buy from Yokoyama, and I was very excited. Well, the aroma is fruity and mainly muscat. The aroma is typical of junmai ginjo! The aroma is not as sweet as one might expect. The bitterness and umami come from there, but the aftertaste is clean and not harsh! Easy to drink! It can be drunk before or after a meal. It is delicious!

Tochigi Prefectural Association Sake 4 This was the last of the Hanzo sake we received! Normally I would be too drunk to remember the taste, but this one was clear! It was so delicious! The aroma is mild and not showy, even though it's a nama-shu. The sweetness, umami, bitterness, and aftertaste 😄It was very well-balanced and delicious, probably due to the good temperature range. I would like to try it on its own!

Tochigi Prefectural Association Sake 3 Next was Kawanakajima Genmai, which Tsubu-chan brought! The aroma was fresh but moderate. When you drink it, it has a good balance of sweetness, umami, acidity, and bitterness, and the sharpness is exquisite! This goes well with any food coloring 😊 Delicious!

Tochigi Prefectural Association Sake 2 Next, we had Toyobai. This is also a Tohoku sake! It has been a long time since I have had Toyobai. It has a calmer taste than the previous Hakurakusei, and can be drunk in a relaxed manner. It also has a great umami flavor and is perfect for a potluck dinner!

I will be attending the Tochigi Prefectural Association on November 9. Thank you for inviting me! It already feels like home. As usual, I was late getting started because I went after work. When I arrived, I was welcomed by everyone! We started with Hakurakusei! I am grateful to be in Tochigi and to have a local Miyagi sake. The aroma was fresh and the taste had a moderate sweetness with a good umami and acidity. This, this, this! Well balanced and delicious. Great first sake 😊. I'm going to borrow the photos taken by Tsubu-chan. I'll leave the others to you!

This time, I was given this sake by a person at work when I received an award the other day! First of all, I was very impressed with the Loman Junmai Daiginjo-shu😄I don't usually buy such good sake for myself! I sometimes drink Romain when we go out for drinks, but this is the first time I've had a good time drinking it like this 😄. The rice is Fukushima's sake rice, Fukunoka, and the yeast is "Utsukushima Yume Yeast". The yeast is "Utsukushima Yume Yeast" and the sake is made with Loman's unique four-stage glutinous rice brewing process! How can it not be good! The aroma is sweet, with a hint of apple and melon! When you drink it, the sweetness is beautiful, followed by umami, and finally a clean finish. It is not a spectacular sake. Junmai Daiginjyo is delicious at first, but I was expecting to get tired of drinking it, but I never get tired of drinking this one. You can drink it all the time 😄. I am very grateful to have such a delicious sake.

I've always been curious about this sake! I will have some Kamikigen😄! It has almost no aroma and is slightly banana-like. When you drink it, it is dry and goes in quickly. There is no bitterness at all, and the bitterness comes at the end, and then it just goes away. It is a very beautiful sake. It finishes quickly, and while some may find it unsatisfying, I think it is a delicious sake. It goes well with any meal. It is a sake that does not interfere with food.

I love Oyomori😊I bought it online last time and this time I received a flyer. I bought a limited edition sake from them and bought it right away! This one is Junmai Ginjo Autumn Agari😄Absolutely delicious! The aroma is mild and has a ricey feel. When you drink it, it has a moderate sweetness and a rich umami. The aftertaste is clean and crisp with just the right amount of acidity and bitterness! It's good 😄 It has more umami than the usual Oyomori, and it's like it's the end of autumn! It is delicious! It is well-balanced and has a good umami!

Yesterday. I couldn't believe it because I didn't think it was me, but my boss told me to give myself a pat on the back at least for today, and I was thankful for that. I was also happy to receive flowers from my workplace. I really don't get flowers often! So I rewarded myself with a nice bottle of sake! This is Yumemizuho from Shinshu Kamerei! This Yumemizuho is brewed in Shinshu Kamerei with rice grown by a contract farmer of the Kazuma Sake Brewery who suffered from the disaster! The aroma is mild and slightly banana-like, unlike the usual Kamerei! When you drink it, it is much drier and slightly carbonated! The bitterness, acidity, and umami are then felt, and the sharpness is good. It is a fusion of modern and classic sake. It is deeply delicious. You can drink this sake while pondering about Noto, thinking about yourself, and so on.

I bought it because it was the first time a local Zao sake brewery had made a sake with a fresh yeast yeast yeast yeast yeast! The aroma is the usual banana aroma typical of Zao. Today I'm having a barbecue at home with my family 😄 so I thought I'd share this with you! This is the first time I've had Tou-san! Original from Gonoi Sake Shop! Great expectations! The aroma is mild, banana and ricey. The taste is sweet and slightly carbonated! The taste is sweet with a slight carbonation, then sour with a hint of bitterness and a strong aftertaste. It is a sake that will not be overpowered by meat or saury! The best when mixed with Ori (bitter orange juice) 😊The umami is even better and tastier! It's been a while since I've had Ori sake, but it's the best I've had in a long time.

Yesterday was my nephew's birthday! He's still underage and can't drink yet, so everyone around him drinks (lol). The label on the back reads "Happy Halloween! Trick or Sake" and I realized later that it is a Halloween sake 😓 Oh well! The aroma has a reddish-brown and acidic flavor with a hint of apple and other reddish-brown fruits! The taste is sweet and slightly carbonated! The acidity is emphasized and the aftertaste is longer than usual. It has a unique aftertaste. This is delicious, but it is a little different from the usual Akabu. My brother seemed to understand this and said, "It's different from the usual, but it's delicious in its own way. It has been a long time since I have had a good Akabu 😊.

Today is my favorite Shizenigo Enryu Junmai! The sake I like to drink every year at this time of the year (^o^) The aroma is full of fruity sensations such as apples and peaches! October 1, 2024 (^o^) Today is Sake Day! Well, I consulted with my fridge on what to drink😊I knew I wanted to support Noto, which is going through a tough time right now! So I'll have this sake! This sake is a collaboration between Taniizumi and Yoshida Kura II! This is a noble sake brewed with Yoshida Kura's specialty modern and yamahai methods, using "TANIZEN Junmai Ginjo Hyakumangoku no Shiro" which was unable to be sold due to the earthquake disaster! The aroma has a wine-like muscat flavor and a mild rice flavor. There is also a citrus acidity! It has a fruity taste. When you drink it, it has a good amount of umami from the sweetness that is typical of kijoshu, and the acidity that is typical of Yamahai comes through and the aftertaste is clean and refreshing! It is delicious and not too sweet! It is a sake that you will never get tired of drinking! It is good as an aperitif, and as a mid-meal drink, it would go well with simmered dishes and oden, which are more flavorful than sashimi! It was a great sake day for me to drink a very nice sake.

This was yesterday! I was talking about my love of sake at work and my boss said "just the thing" and brought me this. Actually, it seems that this was given to me by someone at work, and my boss got it and gave it to me 😄When I asked who got it, my boss laughed and didn't tell me, saying "I might not be able to taste it if I ask that" (I think it was our director or something😅). Anyway, I'll have to drink it soon and tell you what I think of it! My favorite sake, Shijikizuru! It's also sake sake! It's a high-class sake! I wonder if the director gave it to me after all😅. So, I thankfully took it. The aroma is mild apple! A little greenish, but overall mild. When you drink it, it is really free of any cloying taste, but there is some bitterness at the end and some chili that seems to be added alcohol. The aftertaste is clear and clear! It is easy to drink. I enjoy it with the feeling that it is a delicious sake after all! I never thought that a conversation about sake at work would turn out like this (laugh) 😄 I guess I should try saying so.
