This is one of the two bottles I bought at Morishita Sake Shop Okage Yokocho when I stopped by the other day to pay a visit to Ise Jingu Shrine. I like the appearance of the bottle ✨. The gentle ginjo aroma is relaxing just from the scent alone! In the mouth, it is indeed delicate and clear. It is just as it says on the label! What can I say, it has a sense of profundity. The quality of the sake is similar to my current drink, Jinzo Nanayo, but my personal impression is that this one is much more gentle ✨. I'm looking forward to drinking it tonight 😊.

Good morning, yoyoyo! I hope you had a nice visit to Ise Shrine ✨. I've only had Sakusama's Kananochi once, but I have the impression that it is one of Sakusama's most gentle, well-balanced and delicious sake 😋. I'm looking forward to drinking it again today 🦾.

Finally, I was able to drink it, Kamizo! This Nanayo seems to be distributed only at restaurants, but I was lucky enough to buy it✨. When the bottle is opened, there is a pleasant light popping sound. The aroma is mildly fruity, like lychee or lime. It smells so good. When you put it in your mouth, wow! A slight gasiness and a slight tingle on the tip of the tongue. It is very pleasant! The sweetness is refreshing. It has a very clear taste and is easy to drink! After drinking, there is no unpleasant taste, and the lingering good aroma is pleasant. It may be the best sake I've ever had with no lingering tastelessness. The taste is elegant and dignified, reminiscent of the streets of the ancient capital of Kyoto ✨. Drink it carefully and savor it 😁.

Nice to meet you, Mr. Okura. I bought it because of the pop-up label that said "apricot" on it! I really like the label design! The color of the liquid is a little yellowish. The aroma is sweet and sour with a hint of lactic acidity. The taste is like apricot. Like the aroma, the sweet and sourness of the lactic acidity and the apricot flavor go well together, making it very easy to drink! It goes down your throat smoothly and has a nice sharpness, with a slight bitterness that is perfect for this hot season! It's really good!

We recently opened a bottle of Takashima Yumachi, which we purchased along with the W Yamadanishiki we received! First of all, the label design is camouflaged and cool! The aroma is gentle but gorgeous and fruity. It is enchanting. While the flavor and mild acidity of the Omachi grapes are still present, it is the fruity muscat-like flavor of the W that comes to the fore. The aftertaste is also refreshing. However, the lingering aroma in the nose is soothing. The balance is wonderful! W is a great sake for both the uninitiated and the expert ✨.

When I purchased Sasu Masamune, I bought it because my favorite store was having a W fair! I'm drawn to this visual ✨. There were several varieties lined up, but I started with the royal road Yamadanishiki! The specs are Junmai Daiginjo, but the fact that they don't call themselves that is very cool ✨. First of all, the aroma is wonderful. What a gorgeous aroma! It draws you in! When you put it in your mouth, it is fruity and mellow, and the aroma spreads, and the freshness is not half bad! Oh, is this fire-roasted? It is so delicious! After drinking, you will be soothed by the lingering aftertaste that lingers faintly rather than being sharp. This is also good! A gem beyond my imagination. If I find it next time, I will repeat for sure. ☺️

I stumbled across this sake at the store✨. The Obata Sake Brewery, which brews Manotsuru, used to use the brand name "Sashu Masamune" until shortly after the war. And the only specs revealed were alcohol content and 100% Sado rice. I bought it because I was attracted by the story and the concept of telling a story through taste, not specs! Gentle muscat-like aroma A clean sweetness with no cloying taste. The mouthfeel is wonderful, and the flavor is worthy of the Green Label name. It has a nice sharpness and a bitterness that appears later. It is refreshing and pleasant to drink!

It's been a long time since I've seen Kido! Maybe it's been half a year or so. The ginjo aroma is clean and fruity. What a good sake! It is soft and refreshing on the palate! The sweetness is moderate and not unpleasant, with a nice sharpness and a slight bitterness that lingers at the end and disappears quickly! It is a taste that is worthy of the name "summer gale"! Hats off to you, Kido!

It's been a while since I've been to Kaze no Mori! We will have 657 brewed with Nara Prefecture's new sake brewing rice "Nanaro"! Mild and fruity aroma. The aroma is mild and fruity, and I feel the urge to drink it as soon as possible. When I sipped it, I was surprised to find that it was sweeter than I had imagined! It is richer in sweetness than I had imagined. I wonder if this is a different character of Nanadrok from the other Kaze no Mori brews I have had so far! The sweetness lingers on the tongue, and you can enjoy the aftertaste. The gasiness is also surprisingly low. I felt a new aspect of Kaze no Mori!

I stopped by an izakaya on my way home from work and looked at the menu and to my surprise, there was a bottle of Jyushidai, which had been on cloud nine! Naturally, I ordered it immediately! It was my first Jyushiro. I took it in my hand with a sense of excitement. It has a mild ginjo aroma. The aroma alone is clear. When I put it in my mouth, I was astonished. What is this clear flavor with no cloying taste at all? Neither the acidity nor the sweetness you feel is at all unpleasant. The mouthfeel is just superb. The gentle sweetness is pleasant and soothing, but after swallowing, the crispness is gone in a flash. You will miss it, and you will find yourself sipping it again. It is undeniably king. What's more, this sake is a honjozo! The added alcohol is their own shochu. It's too good to be true! If I won the lottery, I would want to plunge the entire amount into Jyushiyo.

Following the recent first Shimane sake, this is the first Yamanashi sake! A summer sake brewed with 100% Yamadanishiki. The aroma is reminiscent of muscat. The aroma is quite gorgeous. When drinking it, there is almost no gasiness, but it has a refreshing sweetness that is typical of summer sake. The umami of Yamadanishiki can also be felt. The slight bitterness at the end adds to the freshness. It's so good! ❗️

At my usual liquor store, I found a bottle of Shimane Prefecture's Meishin and Gassan that I was curious about! There were other sake that I was interested in, but I bought Gassan-san, which was the only bottle left! The "innovation APPLE" is brewed with "malic acid hyperacidic sake yeast"! It is Tsukiyama-san's attempt. The aroma was mild apple 🍎, not so loud and calm. When you drink it, it is very apple! Amazing! This refreshing, sweet and sour, low-alcoholic drink is cute and adult ✨. The drink goes on and on and on. It's amazing that it's made with only rice, rice malt, and water! This sake made me feel that the possibilities of sake are endless. ❗️

It is a rare sake that is fermented (fully matured) until the yeast has eaten up as much sugar as it can in the unrefined sake. I was curious about it and was finally able to purchase it. It is a junmai sake with an alcohol content of 21% and polished to 70%! The specs alone pack a punch! Pale golden color. Aroma of tasty acidity. This is natural lactic acid bacteria. When you drink it, the punch of 21% alcohol is outstanding. The flavor is rich, but unexpectedly refreshing. The way the acidity is used is as expected from Hanaboe. It is full of umami and extremely delicious. However, it is quite intoxicating. I drank it on the rocks with ice! It's even more refreshing now that the corners have been removed. It's cold and summery✨. It's a great sake that can be enjoyed in a variety of ways✨ Thank you Hanaboe-san!

It is a Nara sake, Shinomine, brewed with "Kame-no-o", which I don't know of any other brewery using except Senkou! And it's from Nara Prefecture. I was surprised to learn that Kame-no-o is not a rice suitable for sake brewing! I was so surprised! The aroma is mildly muscat-like. The mouthfeel is pleasantly gaseous. In contrast to the moderate sweetness, the light acidity and clear, crisp bitterness are very appealing! The crispness is not harsh and disappears quickly. It has a very refreshing taste and is delicious! It has a pleasant taste with a sense of balance that is different from Kameizumi's! Why is Nara sake so good?

I went shopping at Seijo Ishii and happened to come across this Junmai Namaishige by Daishichi. It was a rare impulse buy. ☺️ I recommend drinking it cold or warmed, but it's too hot to do so. Aroma: Aroma of mellow namaishio yeast. The acidity you can feel in the back of your nose. In the mouth, it has a lactic acidity reminiscent of yogurt. It is rich, but it disappears quickly after swallowing. The aroma is much more subdued when served cold. I prefer hiya. The taste and the cost performance are great!

I landed in Kochi Prefecture for the first time as Asano Sake Shop is having a Kochi Prefecture Fair! I've been wanting to try this brand for a while ✨. And it's a limited edition sake brewed with Tosa Urara, Kochi Prefecture's preferred rice for sake brewing! The familiar label also has a nice genteel feel to it. After opening the bottle, the aroma is fruity and pineapple-like. The sweet and sour taste spreads quickly in the mouth. It is also fresh. The balance of sweetness and acidity is superb. The juiciness spreads in the lightness and smoothness of a white wine. What a gorgeous and luxurious taste! The graceful cleanness of the wine as it goes down the throat. This also feels fleeting. The story of gorgeousness and fragility repeats itself with every sip! Be careful not to drink too much of this: ⚠️

Finding and mastering famous sake known only to those in the know is one of the pleasures of sake. This is "Sensai," another brand name of Okutamba, a famous sake brewed by Yamana Shuzo! It is a reissue of the original brand that was made until the end of the Edo period. It is said to be brewed using the wooden vat brewing method of the time of its founding, the "nama-hashime" method, and the local Hyogo Prefecture-produced rice, koji, and water, all carefully brewed using the techniques established by the Tamba Toji! The rice is 100% Aiyama from Hyogo Prefecture! As someone who values stories, I can only be interested in this one! The aroma is fruity with a hint of lactic acidity hidden behind the fruity aroma. When you drink it, you can feel the juiciness of Aizan and the characteristic tangy gasiness. It rounds out as the temperature rises a bit. The acidity and the slight bitterness that lingers at the end make the aftertaste tight and sharp ✨. This is local sake! It's good ✨

I went to Tanaka Sake Shop for my favorite Hanaboe. It was a hot day, so I chose a soda pop for its typical sourness and freshness! When I twisted the screw cap a little, the liquid level came up again and again.....................too much energy! Finally, the bottle was opened. The lees that had accumulated at the bottom were already stirred up by the gas. First, the aroma. It smells like sweet yogurt✨It smells so good✨. When we drank it, the richness of the mizu yeast spread along with the gaseous feeling of the shuwa shuwa. I like this feeling that is typical of Hanaboe's mizu-hashiroshi. The gasiness, yogurtiness, sweetness, sourness, and bitterness each have a solid profile and assert their own individuality, making for a very interesting taste. It is fun to drink, fun to look at, and above all, a good sake!

Finally, I was able to drink Sentori Classic! When poured into a glass, it is lightly cloudy and has a gentle aroma ✨. And a gentle aroma ✨. When you put it in your mouth, you can't believe it's called "Classic" because it's so light. The synergy between the lightness of the 13% alcohol content and the refreshing fruity lychee-like flavor. Kouzutsuru, a local sake from Tajima, bought on the way back from a business trip. Hyogo Kitanishiki" sake rice from the Tajima area is said to have a heart white as large as Yamada Nishiki. The aroma of lactobacillus fermentation of Yamahai is mild. I tried it at room temperature and cold, and I personally prefer it cold! (Added on June 8, 2025) The sharpness that I felt when I drank the sake by itself made it difficult to drink, but when I ate it with grilled fish and stir-fried meat and vegetables, the sharpness went well together, and both the sake and the food were even more delicious. It is a sake that is more like a food wine.

It is a pure sake, 70% polished rice, pure rice, raw sake, made with a "nama-hashiroshi" (a traditional sake brewing technique). The specs were completely to my liking, so I had it for the first time, Souhyo. The aroma and taste were different from what I had imagined. From the outside, it looked like a classic, but this preconceived notion was completely overturned. The aroma was mildly fruity. The image changed completely. On the palate, the acidity of the sake yeast and the umami of the rice! This is what makes it so special✨. The potential of Yamadanishiki from the special A district of Yoshikawa, Hyogo Prefecture! It is wonderful! The balance of sweetness, acidity, and umami created by 70% polished rice. This is the brewing technique of the brewery. I was impressed ✨.
