☀️ Masamune hunters go today🍶. Exploring Masamune: Nagareyama, Chiba (3) I bought this bottle at Echigoya Sake Shop. I found a bottle of Masamune in another liquor store, but Echigoya Sake-ten had only a four-pack bottle, so I decided to buy it here 😄. I can't read "inva" at first sight🙄. The Masamune industry is very deep 😅 It's sake 🍶. It's a walnut type sweet 😚. It has a simple structure that goes down your throat easily and goes down smoothly. No smell of alcohol, but classic type 🤔. It is a regular sake but easy to drink with little miscellaneous taste 😊. This is the end of my exploration of Masamune: Nagareyama, Chiba Prefecture. In reality, it was the Echigoya Sake Shop section😅. It is fun to go out in search of the sake you are looking for 😁. Nice Masamune👍

☀️ Masamune hunters go today🍶. Exploring Masamune: Nagareyama, Chiba (2) The day after the tragedy of two✌️, there was a hunter standing in front of "Echigoya Sake Shop". Yeah, here we are again 😆. I headed straight to the bottle and checked it out. The words "Kubota Shuzo" on the shoulder label, this is it ❗️ and I pick it up. When I paid the bill, I asked the owner about the origin of ✌️. The old man said 👨🏻‍🦳 A long time ago, a wholesaler in Nagareyama called Akimoto owned the Edogawa Masamune trademark. They used to make sake under that trademark with the local Kubota Sake Brewery, which also made packaged sake. When Kubota stopped making packaged sake, a pot store, also connected to the company, started making packaged sake instead under the two✌️." I see, there is history in to✌️ 🤔. It's sake 🍶. As expected, it has a classic flavor. Walnut and nutty sweetness with a hint of hackles on the aftertaste 😙. It has less alcohol than I expected 😌. I thought it was one of the easier to drink among regular sakes. I was able to experience the local history of Masamune 🤗. Nice Masamune👍

☀️ Masamune hunters go today🍶. Exploring Masamune: Nagareyama, Chiba (1) I looked for Masamune, which I had learned from the master of a bar, and found that it is distributed in Nagareyama City, Chiba Prefecture. We organized a Masamune exploration team (one person) and set out. ✈️ After going to several liquor stores and supermarkets, we finally found the desired Masamune at "Echigoya Sake Shop" near Edogawadai station. They had both paper packs (2000ml) and bottles 👀. The bottles are heavy, so I decided to go for the paper packs 😁. This decision would later turn out to be a disaster 😑😑. Now, as for the taste... 🍶... A refreshing sweetness 😚. I thought it would be more classic, but it's not so classic 😙. A little sourness in the aftertaste. I thought it would be more classic, but the classic feeling is lessened and it is easy to drink 😙. I thought it was more classic, but it was less classic and more smooth 😙. It is indeed a paper pack 🧃. Then, here comes the tragedy😅. Looking at the back of the pack, the manufacturer is listed as "Nabaten Co. Ale? Edogawa Masamune should be made by Kubota Shuzo 🤔. If you look closely, there are two red vertical lines 👀 on the bottom left of the Masamune. I don't think it's "Two" 😰. ...yes it was two ✌️😱 That bottle was the first Edogawa Masamune, that's why. My hunter spirit was ignited 🔥. (continued) For the time being, to ✌️ Nice Masamune👍

☀️ Masamune hunters go today🍶. At the Yamagata Sake Fair 2025, I asked the president of the brewery 👴🏻 how to purchase the sake, and after returning home, I inquired & ordered from "Yamagata Asano Shoten" and after a period of waiting for inventory adjustment, I was able to purchase the sake 🤗. I was so excited when the bottle arrived 🥹. I heard that it was a sake to be entered in a sake competition ✨...my expectations were high 😤. Now, the sake 🍶. Immediately after opening the bottle, you can smell the gorgeous 🌸 and sweet aroma of the unrefined sake, which is typical of daiginjo-style sake. ☺️ The mouthfeel is like clean water 😙. It makes you say "woohee~🤭" 😆. It is light and easy to drink for its 18% alcohol content. From the middle stage, a light and clean sweetness gradually spreads in the mouth, and a "Ohhhh! A little bitterness comes in at the end and adds to the lingering satisfaction 😙. Finally, thank you to Tsubu for consulting with me at the Tochigi Prefectural Association, and to Dora for doing a lot of research on the fast track: 🙇‍♂️ Safe to drink 😆. Nice Masamune👍

☀️ Echigo Yuzawa Station "Sushi Honjin Dining" 🤗 We had sushi and a glass of Tsururei. It has a light sweetness that is typical of Tsururei and goes down smoothly 😚. The salted fish as a side dish gives it a slightly sweet taste 🤔. The sushi 🍣 is soft and delicious 😋. It sweetens, tightens, and resets the fishy smell according to the sushi ingredients. Tsururei is as good as it gets 🤗.

☀️ Ponshukan @ Nagaoka🤗 It's called Aizan ❤️ but the sweetness is quite restrained, light and elegant 😊. There is a bit of bitterness in the kirei. Is it more of a dry strain? 🤔 It is clean and light to drink. I see that even Aizan ❤️ can brew sake that is not sweet 🧐.

Mellow and delicious, with a taste like an aged sake. However, the mouthfeel is clean and refreshing. Surprisingly easy to drink 🤗.

☀️ It is made with flower yeast isolated from the rose "Princess Michiko"🌸. I've had Princess Michiko from Yokoyama, but this is my first time to try Ishizuchi's 🤗. It is a sweet and umami ama-ish type 😚. But it feels surprisingly refreshing 🤔. It's not like Yokoyama, which is full of gorgeousness. It has a bitter taste at the end and is folded well with sweetness and umami 😁.

☀️ I heard that it was an unusual sake, so I decided to drink it. ❗️ It's a sweet and tasty sake ❗️ It's so good! ❗️ It breaks away from Sawanoi's typical lightness...and freshness: ❗️ Finally Sawanoi has come up with a modern style of sake ❗️ and the Tokyo sake drinkers were full of surprises 🤗. The watery feeling in the mouth at the end was still Sawanoi-like 🩵.

☀️ The acidity is all over the place, with sweetness in the background. The acidity continues until the end. The thick and robust flavor reminded me of the "nama-hashiroshi style" (🧐). ☀️ It's labeled "summer gale." I'll say it first 🙄. I don't feel like a gale😇 It is the usual Kido taste with a sweet and savory base. It is laced with a subtle bitterness. The acidity tightens the whole thing up and gives the impression that it's very smooth for a kido 🤔. There is a touch of orange 🍊 at the end, which gives it an instantaneous juicy feel 🤗. Oh, you mean it's juicy 🤪?

☀️ They say it is distributed only in Akita prefecture. Why is it here 🤔? It appears to have a clear amber color 🟡. Slight sweetness and clear acidity. Light and clean on the throat. Clear and light tasting apple juice 🍎.

☀️ I saw this sake 🍶🤔 at sakewa and was curious about the label. I ordered it to see what it would be like🤗 Sweetness and umami of rice 🌾. It's a bit of a squeaky feeling when swallowing it. The way it ends gives it a very Shizuoka-like feel 😙. I wonder if it is similar to Garyubai 🤔.
