Today, in this hot weather, I've been doing my hobby of visiting liquor stores... 😂.
I finally got there, sweating and visiting liquor stores I hadn't visited before, and when I glanced at the trial section, I couldn't help but shout out 🥳.
There's a hana-yoku, isn't there?
I never dreamed that I would be able to sample it after walking around in this hot weather, and I said, "Oh, wow! I squealed 🥹.
Now it's time to taste it 🍶!
The mellow aroma like a ripe pineapple is irresistible!
Take a sip, it's juicy! It's sweet and juicy!
I'm sorry I can't describe it better because the heat is getting to me and my vocabulary and my thinking ability are low 😭.
If I had to describe it in one word, it would be sweet and juicy pineapple juice!
And while I'm at it(?), I strolled around the store and I was surprised to see a pineapple juice! I was surprised to see all kinds of Kangiku Discovery series in the store!
I wanted to try them all, but I had some sake coming later in the day, so I had to buy two kinds 🥲.
I bought So-no-Mai, which Kangiku-san said was her favorite this year, and Gohyakumangoku, which is my favorite color!
I will review this one later 🥳.
We cleared out the kitchen counter and redecorated it into a sort of tavern.
It's great to be able to see the TV in the living room while drinking standing up!
We would like to start such a memorable opening day with Ohmine's Summer Jun✨!
Ohmine's aroma is very invigorating from the moment you open the bottle!
The aroma is a mellow muscat aroma that quickly penetrates the nostrils, with a hint of lychee later on. ☺️
The elegant mouthfeel, combined with the silky smoothness of the wine, makes it an impossible sake to resist.
The juicy, slightly effervescent taste, reminiscent of muskmelon or Shine Muscat, will make you gasp in surprise.
It was a delicious sake suitable for summer that could be drunk like a soft drink!
It went well with my homemade chawanmushi (steamed egg custard) and it was a blissful moment 🍶.
I can drink while conversing with my wife in the living room, so I can say that the izakaya makeover was a great success!
I'm looking forward to decorating the shelves with various sakes from now on too. ☺️
Good morning, Afio!
I'm sure you'll have fun redecorating your kitchen counter into a bar style 🎵.
What a wonderful sight to have a drink while chatting with your wife ✨!
Mr. Omine's summer sake looks delicious too 🤤.
Good morning, ma-ki-😌.
It's fun to drink with a fresh mind because you can look over the living room while drinking ✨.
My wife loves it and I'm very happy with it ☺️
I recommend you to drink it because it is so cool and refreshing that it blows away the heat!
Hi Jay & Nobby, ☺️
I opened it quietly and enjoyed it alone 😆🎊.
I think just a few changes have improved the atmosphere and the taste of the drinks 😋✨.
I got Sairai, which is limited to restaurants 🍶.
I drink a lot of Sairai because I like its clear sweetness, but this is my first time drinking S's, so I'm looking forward to it 😋.
The aroma is sweet and mildly fruity, reminiscent of muskmelon, banana, and white peach, but with an elegant flavor that is understated and not too showy. ☺️
Light and clear on the palate, with a freshness and a slight gassy feeling that makes it easy to drink and keeps you coming back for more 😌.
The fresh sweetness is typical of Sairai, but the light and sharp acidity rounds out the aftertaste and makes it easy to pair with a meal ✨.
I was pretty drunk at the 4th sake on this day, but it's a beautiful sake that you can enjoy until the end, so please try it if you see it 😋.
I couldn't drink last week, so this time I will drink A-type 😋.
When you open the bottle, the fruity aroma of green apple and pear spreads out, with a hint of floral aroma, but it also has a sharp impression. ☺️
The sweetness and mild acidity are in harmony with the clear sweetness and mild acidity, making it a light drink.
It is less sweet than the X-type, but the umami of the rice is more easily felt and the sharpness makes it very easy to drink 😋.
I paired it with oysters like I did the last time I drank X-type, and it really goes well with oysters 🦪.
It really goes well with oysters 🦪.
Hello, Afuio 😃.
I've never had or even seen Niimasa's A-type 😅.
I'm soooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo with those magnificent oysters 😙!
Good evening, Jay & Nobby😊.
Do they not have many A-types on the market? 🤔This izakaya was the first time I saw it myself ✨.
I can't get enough of the oysters here, they have a nice flavor that goes well with sake 😋✨.
I asked for a variety of sakes to try 🍶.
When I poured it into the glass, the fruity and gorgeous ginjo aroma spread out, and I sipped it with fruity and subtle floral nuances 😋😋.
The attack is impressive with a strong unfiltered raw sake-like attack, and while you can feel the alcohol, it is softly enveloped by the alcohol, making it smoother and easier to drink than you might imagine 😆✨.
The sweetness is moderate, but the umami of the rice spreads slowly and is well neutralized by the moderate bitterness and richness, and it goes so well with ham and cheese cutlets that I kept muttering how delicious it was 😌.
This is why I can't stop drinking sake 🥳.
We received Hatsukarubai Ume (red plum blossoms) for the first time!
I found Penguin's Kanken Ume that Jay & Nobby reviewed a while ago, and I thought, oh! I thought, "Oh!
When poured into a glass, it has a fresh and juicy fruity aroma reminiscent of apples and pears, but the aroma is well-balanced so that it accompanies your meal without being overpowering. ☺️
When you put it in your mouth, it is characterized by a light and refreshing mouthfeel, and you can enjoy a slight taste of white peach 😌.
The acidity is soft and perfectly balanced with the sweetness, and the aftertaste is clean and crisp with a light lingering aftertaste that goes great with rice✨.
Unlike the appearance on the label, it had a sharp impression of a light and dry type 😌.
Also, if you look closely, you can see "kankoubai" written in katakana on the penguin's chest hair, which made me grin 😆.
Penguins, not to be underestimated ☺️✨
Good morning, Mr. Afio!
Congratulations on your first Kankoumei 🎉!
Kankoumei is my favorite sake because it is really consistent and delicious 😋.
I'd like to try Penguin as I haven't drunk it yet 🤤.
The label is cute too 🥰.
Thank you, ma-ki-!
I'd love to try some of the other Kankoubai if you see them 😋✨.
Penguin was so delicious, please do drink it! ☺️
It's so cute and eye-catching!
Thanks for the drink 🥳.
Hello, Afuio 😃.
Oh...you went to Penguin 🐧! You went to Penguin🐧‼️ yeah... such a good guy to accompany a meal like that 😊.
The grilled rice balls look delicious😍.
And...I didn't notice the chest hairs 😆.
Hi Jay & Nobby, ☺️
We finally went to Penguin!
The sake was delicious on its own, but even better with rice 😋.
It was perfect with the grilled onigiri✨
That was a hidden kankoubai 😆✨
It caught my eye while I was touring a liquor store and I had been wanting to try it for a while, so I bought it!
The tag on the sake said "Medium Sake", and as a lover of medium sakes, I couldn't pass it up 😋.
So, on to the sake 🍶´-!
When poured into a glass, the fruity aroma reminds me of muscat and pineapple, with a hint of coconut-like sweetness 😌.
In the mouth, the sweet and sour fruitiness fills the mouth, and the gentle rice flavor and minerality of Yamada-Nishiki harmonize to make it juicy and easy to drink!
There is almost no aftertaste, and it disappears so smoothly that you will pour it into your cup again and again. ☺️
This sake is also a magical beauty....
It's also very good on its own and seems to go well with raw oysters and white fish 🐟.
It's fun to explore new sakes like this 😌✨
Kameizumi CEL-24 is a sweet and tasty drink!
I really wanted to buy another Kameizumi to compare, but this was the only one I could find!
When poured into a glass, the fruity ginjo aroma of mellow pineapple and red apple, as if lost in a tropical fruit orchard, stimulated my desire for sake!
In the mouth, the juicy, sweet and delicious pineapple sensation is blended with a refreshing acidity derived from malic acid, and the wine is as light and smooth as a white wine.
I wonder if this acidity is the reason why the aftertaste is so refreshing and not too sweet or boring 🤔.
As a sweet tooth, I would still recommend Kameizumi CEL-24 😋.
Mikumari is also my first drink ‼️
The aroma is mild, but the sweet and refreshing fruitiness of ripe apples and La France spreads softly and stimulates the desire to drink 😋.
When you put it in your mouth, the sparkling wine-like lightness with the creamy gasiness makes your mouth feel smooth and smooth 🍶.
The taste has juicy fruit sweetness matched with a crisp and exquisite acidity, and while it has the mellow flavor that is typical of Hououmida, it has a refreshing bitter accent in the aftertaste that makes the drink go down smoothly and dangerously well ✨.
Hi Jay & Nobby 😌.
Thank you, I'm so glad you enjoyed it! Mida-san was a wonderful sweet and tasty sake and I'd love to drink it if I see any other Tochigi sake 😋✨.
I can't help but think of Osamu Tezuka when I hear the name "Yonotori.
When poured into a glass, it shines with a golden color like a kijozo-shu and tastes like honey and vanilla, and looks delicious ( ˇωˇ ).
The first sip of this sake has a sweetness that is like caramel and honey, followed by a refreshing sharpness, and it's delicious!
I looked closer and saw that the alcohol content is 12%! That makes it easy to drink!
Also, the box looks like the Shogakukan dinosaur book I used to read a lot.
Shinsei No.6 X-type
There was also an A-type, but I looked forward to the next one 😌.
When poured into the glass, the aroma was subdued, with fruity nuances of green apple and white peach, with a hint of wood vat ✨.
In the mouth, it tasted like a white wine, but with the umami of rice and the depth of sake 😋✨.
The aftertaste is clean and refreshing with a hint of bitterness accenting the finish. ‼️
I love the lingering fruitiness that lingers after swallowing: ☺️
It was a great match with raw oysters and I could have shoveled it down endlessly ( ˇωˇ ).
As expected from Shinsei‼️
The name "eXcellent" is not for nothing!
It was a wonderful sake that even 3,000 yen for a single brew would be considered cheap 🍶✨.
Good morning, Afio!
Shinmasa's XTYPE is very good 😋!
I remember I was so impressed with this sake when I had it for the first time last year 🤗.
Pairing it with raw oysters sounds delicious too 🤤🤤.
Good morning, ma-ki!
X-type is soooooooo good!
I can see why it's so popular at Sake-no-wa: ☺️
You broke new ground for my taste buds when you washed it down with Shinsei after eating raw oysters 😋✨.
Hatsu Shinshu Kamerei: ‼️
When poured into a glass, it has a delicate apple-like aroma and a hint of sweet aroma of rice, with a calm aroma that can only be achieved by fire-roasting 😋.
In the mouth, the soft umami and mild sweetness of Yamae Nishiki spread slowly, yet the acidity is moderate and the overall taste is round and gentle. ☺️
The aftertaste is clean and crisp, with no cloying taste and a fruity aftertaste that lingers elegantly, making it an easy-drinking, well-balanced sake ✨.
I was surprised to see +3 degrees on the menu 😆 I was told it was fruity, so I thought it was a minus sake, but I was surprised to see +3 degrees on the menu 😆.
I was surprised to see +3 degrees on the menu 😆 But I guess it's because of the effort of the brewer that it seems so easy to drink and fruity. ☺️
Shinshu Kamerei was a very nice and tasty sake: ‼️
I want to drink it again!
Too good, Jikin😋.
The concentrated sweetness passes through, and then it's crisp and refreshing without much aftertaste ( ˇωˇ ).
I wanted to try it to see what it was like before drinking the Hakutsuru-Nishiki I have at home, but now I'm really looking forward to it ( ˇωˇ )
I'll give a detailed review when I drink it again at home 😌.
Hello, Afuio!
Jikin-sama is too delicious 😋!
I haven't had Hakutsuru-nishiki yet, so I'd like to try it someday 🤤.
I'm looking forward to your review of home drinking 🤗.
Hi ma-ki-, how are you?
It's so delicious 😋✨
I recommend Hakutsuru Nishiki! You can drink it in Kawagoe now if you want ✨
I'll be reviewing the home brew as well, so look forward to it ☺️
Hi Jay & Nobby 😆
It will be a while before we can drink ours, so we had a chance to try it and it was even better than we imagined 😋!
I can't wait to try our Hakutsuru Nishiki ✨
Akaban Oumachi was delicious, so I have high hopes 🍶.
When you open the bottle, you can smell the elegant and refreshing ginjo aroma and taste the full flavor of melon, grapefruit, and a hint of lactic acid like yogurt.
Smooth on the palate, with a full flavor from the Bizen Omachi rice, and a light sweetness and mild acidity that are in harmony with each other.
If you drink it chilled, the concentrated sweetness, umami, and slight bitterness will quickly pass down your throat, but if you leave it at room temperature for a while, you can further experience the umami and richness of the rice, making it a double treat ( ˇωˇ ).
Sharaku is indeed a wonderful sake that does not disappoint ✨.
White Night!
The name is great and the bottle looks stylish and to my liking!
When you open the bottle, it has a mellow sweet aroma like melon or ripe bananas, and in the mouth it has a fresh, slightly effervescent, elegant sweetness like Japanese sugar, balanced by a good acidity that is personally close to my ideal mellow sweet taste ( ˇωˇ )✨.
I like Koshi because it's really good!
I was thrilled because I didn't expect to be able to drink it!
And since there were only a few left, they opened up a new dragon bastard in another glass for the ones we couldn't pour out, so we could compare freshly opened ones with the ones that had been open for a while ✨.
First, the Jyushiyo that had been open for a while.
The aroma was pear and white peach, elegant and floral, raising expectations even before drinking 🍶´-.
The mouthfeel was silky and the refined sweetness of Jyushiro's unique Wasanbon-like taste gently enveloped my mouth, and the sake was more refined than I had expected.
Freshly opened, it smelled already juicy, and fresher flavors than before stimulated my nose!
The taste is also very satisfying, filling the mouth with a sweetness like biting into a juicy, fresh fruit!
If I had to sum it up in one word, it is "mellow umakuchi", but the sweetness and umami lingers gently in the aftertaste, not at all dull and wonderful sake ( ˇωˇ )✨!
Good morning, Afio 😃!
Congratulations on your exciting meeting with Jyushidai ㊗️ 🎉 And you were lucky to compare the bottom of the bottle and the opening of the mouth 🤗.
Good morning, Jay & Nobby! We didn't expect to be able to compare our drinks, so we were really lucky 😋.
Both were so good that I became a fan of Jyushiyo 😋.
We had Katsuma Daiginjo at an event a while ago!
The ginjo aroma was discreet, but refined,
It smells great with fresh fruit nuances like green apple and lafrance.
Smells great with fresh fruity nuances like green apple and lafrance✨.
The smooth mouthfeel is impressive, and the crisp, light, dry, and clear sake quality without any cloying taste stands out, and the umami of the rice and subtle sweetness are in harmony, making me marvel at "this is Katsuma?
I was lucky enough to find it on sale in a four-pack, so I was grateful to be able to buy it 🍶´-.
I can't drink it because I still have a lot of sake stock at home, but I'm going to let it sit until that day.
Senkou's rhinoceros beetle
A little while ago, but successfully captured again this year
The smell of ripe citrus fruits is enough to lower your body temperature by about 5 degrees Celsius.
My wife said she could drink it because it's cool and not like sake in a good way.
I can recommend this sake to those who don't like sake.
It's worth walking in this hot weather!
((((ง
Takachiyo brought some to the izakaya (Japanese-style pub) where she works.
and we all had a drink together!
I drank Hanayuup Misato Nishiki a while ago.
This sake is less sweet than the other Hanayuups, but has a gorgeous aroma and a refined taste that is very satisfying 🍶.
It's fruity, yet has the umami of rice and a refreshing aftertaste!
I had it with sashimi and bruschetta as usual, but it all went so well with the sake that I finished it in about 10 days!
I think the one that went best with sake was the negitoro bruschetta in the picture.
The sake level is about -6 to -7 degrees Celsius.
Kikuhime: Hiyashiroshi
This is my first Chrysanthemum Princess! I thought it was light and dry by looking at the font and the reviews.
The first time I drank it, it had an aged aroma, and I thought, "Oh? When I took a sip, I was surprised to find that it had an aged aroma, and when I took a sip, I found that it had a slightly smooth texture, with just a hint of sweetness, followed by a crisp and sharp flavor.
The taste was very strange, almost like a noble sake.
I was a bit surprised that it tasted so different from what I had imagined, but I guess that's what it's all about.
Sake level is about 1 to 2
