This Ryoseki Labo (experimental brew) is similar to Hanayuup and Suidama, and when I drank it last year, it was a beautiful sake with a soft sweetness that was delicious 😋. I know it's delicious, and I'm not sure if it's good this year. What should I do? What was I thinking, It says "+13" 🤨⁉️ What does that mean! I think last year it was -17 or -18 on the sake level. It looks like something much different from last year, and the brewery of Hanayuup and Suidama makes such a dry sake? I don't know how much they know, but I think they are experimenting too much 🤣. And I ended up buying it 😝. It has a sourness when you drink it, and it's dry if you can call it dry. Certainly much different from Hana Yuu or something like that. Slight sweetness? If I had to say so, it's a bit like Ryoseki? The sourness goes through the nose. If you expect Hana Yuu or Suiyu, you may be disappointed, but if you don't think about that, this is delicious 😋. The second day was even better! I had an image that dry sake from a brewery that specializes in sweet sake would have a subtle sense of discomfort, but is that true? Or is that just my imagination?

Last year, I went to the liquor store to buy the Discovery series, but out of the four types, only NewSensation was not sold out😭 I was kind of curious about that, so I bought it this year! This one is 90% polished Koshihikari rice. It's 💦 fresh and shriveled on the palate! It's sweet! No wonder it's a cold chrysanthemum 😚. This is delicious! Feels lighter than the 14% alcohol content, a dangerous thing that goes down smoothly! Gently sweet, juicy 😋. The creek is getting thicker and thicker...was it pooling at the bottom? But when I think about it, is this sake? I don't care, it's delicious 🤣. Sake is evolving, in a good way? I'm sure it's just a discovery! I really think it would be even better if we could compare 4 different kinds of sake together...! For now, I'm going to drink one bottle every year (for now) 😆.

Akihabara 3) The last sake of the day was Urakasumi! Today's sake is from Tohoku 🍶. And the main sake is dry! It is true that Japanese restaurants like this may have a lineup of dry sake that doesn't interfere with the meal! But it's been years since I drank Urakasumi (I used to drink it when I was in Sendai). (I used to drink it a lot when I was in Sendai.) It's so refreshing! But it's a little different from the other ones I've had. I don't feel the acidity that much. It doesn't interfere with your meal. I was with my guests, so we had a serious talk, but we had a good time yesterday too. Thank you!

Akihabara (2) The 2nd cup in Akihabara Kamikigen Perfectly Fermented Super Spicy Fully fermented, no sugar left 🤔. Soft sourness? It's called "super-harsh" but I don't feel that much? (In a good way). It's refreshing and easy to drink. It is a dry sake. Is it a good food sake? But you can taste the flavor 😋.

Half a year? I've been going to Yamaguchi on business for a while, so I thought I'd get around to it. I go to Yamaguchi on business trips often, so I thought I'd get it sooner or later even if I didn't buy it in my neighborhood, but even in Yamaguchi you don't see that much of it (maybe they don't produce enough?). This time, I went to a nearby store and brought home a summery one! Wakamusume Tropical BunBun Be careful not to open the bottle! I was warned to be careful when opening the bottle, but it was only a light sip 😘! I only had to do a little 😘. Fresh! I can feel the sweetness. Tropical juice sensation? Not quite 🤣. A little peculiar sweetness? I feel a little uncomfortable with the sweetness,? And on the third day after opening it, it seems to have mellowed and tasted better. This one tastes better 😋. This could be good 🥳. My wife said, "Oh my, that's a cute label, what's up?" What's wrong? I'm not sure if I designed it myself or not 😰, Well, "it doesn't suit me" 😆. I don't disagree with that😅.

It's hot every day🥵and in the midst of all this, I suddenly saw this💦. Hiraizumi Hyoketsu Nama Sake❄️ It says, "It's sleet-like when ready to drink." Freeze it and drink it! Isn't it the best? 🥳. Maybe it's a bad idea, but it doesn't matter in this heat! But, it doesn't freeze in the freezer 😫 Why? I look online and it says they usually freeze. My head is already full of slezzy, crunchy sake 😭. The internet also said that if you put the sake in the bottle as it is, there's a risk of it bursting, so you should transfer it to a sturdy plastic bottle. But I did it, even though that wasn't the issue this time. Success🎉🎉 Why? And that's a long preamble, When you drink it, it's shwashy, crunchy and it tastes like sake! You don't feel like you're drinking alcohol, it just goes down the drain. The more you drink it, the more it dissolves, and the better it gets! The rice flavor gets stronger and stronger 😍. I drank it chilled, not frozen. The taste of rice is very strong. But I like the crispy grated sake 😘. Somen noodles and tempura, summery!

Another bottle I bought on a business trip to Gifu last month, when I stopped by Ogaki. I stopped by Watanabe Sake Brewery and bought it. The brewery building is quaint, but the store is a very orthodox liquor store! Shirayuki Hime It seems to be the only female toji in Gifu? (Information on the internet) I thought it would be sweet or fresh from the sake name, but it was quite dry with a sour taste 😳. It's clean and crisp, with a hint of rice on the palate 🤔. It's a very hardcore type of sake 🤔. I guess this is possible too. On a hot day, fresh is good, but dry is also good 💦.

Last month, I had to work two days in a row in Gifu and finished at noon, so I had some free time in the afternoon of the first day. I thought, "Why not visit a sake brewery? But Hida Takayama is too far away. I told them that I hadn't decided yet. I told them, "You could go to Ogaki. It's pretty close, and it's called the "water city," and it's the season for mizu-manju, or water buns. Okay, that's what I'll do! And off to Ogaki we go! We went to two sake breweries, visited Ogaki castle and museum, took a walk along the river (moat), and ate water manju. At the Takeuchi Sake Brewery in Ogaki, I was allowed to sample 4 different kinds of sake and finally drank the one I bought 💕 sweet first love. The one I liked best in the tasting was the raw sake, but I had to give it up because I had to work in Gifu the next day too. I didn't have the courage to ask them to put it in the hotel fridge that night, but in the fridge at the customer's office the next day😅. When I drank it, it was sweet and sour. The name of the drink is "sweet first love" but sweet? It tastes more like sweet and sour 😝First love? It tastes like first love 💔. Refreshing, low alcohol 11 degrees, juice-like? This one goes down smoothly 🥳. Ogaki's photo is an added bonus too!

Yesterday, I went to my eldest son's birthday party with my wife and my eldest son and his wife. The restaurant we reserved was an Italian restaurant? Souvenirs of my wife who traveled from her parents' home (Kagawa) to her second son (Ehime) to her eldest daughter (Shimane) in Chugoku and Shikoku. My wife doesn't drink sake, so she bought a packet this time too 🤣. Sake Sen Eiko Laugh With Sake Iyo Shizuku Hime First time drinking, first time seeing. It's a sake brewery in Matsuyama 🤔 long time ago? I've been to Matsuyama a lot but didn't know that. It was written like a sake award to drink with a glass of wine🥂 so I had it on a western food day, I imagined it to be a bit more wine-like, but it was more rice-like than I expected, a bit heavier, and a bit thicker sensation. And as I drank it, it gradually became a little sour, but not as sour as I expected. The alcohol is 16 degrees, so it's a little bit high, a little bit peculiar. On the second day, I think it's easier to drink. It's kinda like it's got a little bit of a corner on it? It tastes better: 👍️

I was in Sendai on business until yesterday. Just once, a little drink. Since I was going to be there, I decided to go for the Tohoku set. Kudokidobue, Tasake, and Gakki Masamune! All were fresh, fruity, and delicious 😋. Kudokibe Junmai Ginjo The sweetness was the strongest of the three, I think. And a little dry image! I guess they are all basic, but this Kudokibe is the only one I haven't had, so here it is! Of course, Masamune and Tasake are also delicious 🥰. At a pub near Yokohama Station (3) Last drink at the restaurant we went to after Yokohama Sake Square on Sunday Karawa SORA-iro no Kage This is also my first time to drink it. Urin means the sun 🤔. Low alcohol and soft sweetness? But not too sweet. A little sour and refreshing! Easy to drink 😋. I drank too much that day too😅. We went to one more restaurant in the evening, but we didn't drink any sake there and split up! We had a good time that day too 🥳.

(1) at a pub near Yokohama Station On Sunday, I didn't eat much at Yokohama Sake Square, so my friend and I walked along the seaside to Yokohama Station for some exercise 👟. We decided to go to one more restaurant, since we were sober enough to drink 😜. But the restaurant opens at 3pm and it's 2:30pm, so we went to another restaurant for a little over 30 minutes for a quick drink (2 beers and a sour, we were thirsty from walking in the heat💦) and then went to the restaurant we wanted to go to! I always drink Shinsei towards the end of the day, and sometimes I don't remember the taste well, so I'll go for the first shot today! (But thinking about it, this is my third one including the event 🤣) Shinsei Yonotori 13% alcohol by volume. This is my first time drinking Yonotori😍! Sweet and sour on the palate 😋. A delicious apricot type! I can't stop drinking 🤣.

Yokohama Salmon Square 9 The last of the events at Yokohama Red Brick Warehouse! Let's drink Zanzou Hourai too! Zanzo-Horai Shirokushiki Special Junmai Unfiltered Nama-shu This Zanzo-Horai is new to me! Citric acidity from white malted rice, acidity 3.1, and sourness? When you drink it, it's delicious 😋. It's a little sour and refreshing, but it also has a hint of sweetness. It has a high acidity, but I don't think it's too strong. I doubt it because I've already drank a lot of it 😂. I think the person who helped us (or was it the brewery staff?) said it was a blend of 4 different types of rice. I think the person who answered me (the brewer?) said it was a blend of 4 different types of rice, and the internet says there is a small amount of Wakamizu and Yamadanishiki blended in as a hidden flavor. When you drink it, does it leave a slight taste on your tongue? It seems to be a very robust sake for a summer sake. It's like "the sake"? I could go on, but I'll stop here. I drank too much yesterday, I went to 3 restaurants after the festival 🤣.
