My daughter and her husband are coming from Izumo with their baby. When I asked my wife what they were going to eat, she told me that they were planning to have Italian food for lunch and hand-rolled sushi for dinner. Sake for hand-rolled sushi. The day I saw Pon-chan's post about Hana Oup Akita Sake Komachi, I went to the local liquor store and they had a bottle waiting for me, so I got it 💪. Hanamup would be good for everyone who doesn't drink much sake, right? So I bought it right away and had it the next day 😋. Hanamup Akita Sake Komachi Soft sweetness Fruity and delicious! Slightly sour and fresh! Maybe a little sweet for hand-rolled sushi? I think it's 🤔, but I don't care 😝 A little bit left over to cover it up? I don't know the subtle difference between this and the Hana Yuu I had before 😅. This beautiful and gentle sweetness is just like Hanayuup! And I'm sure it's delicious 🥳. My daughter and her husband also took the opportunity to have a little taste of it (my daughter drinks but she has a baby, so she's very moderate, and my husband doesn't drink much). They both said it was delicious ‼️ fruity and sharp too. Good for them 🥰.

Good morning, Pon-chan 😊. I thought it might be too sweet for fish, but this time I wanted my daughter and her husband, who don't usually drink much sake, to think it was delicious, so it was a success for me 🎊 thanks to Pon-chan 🎊🥳.

Went to a sake brewery in Yamaguchi last month and bought it. (Thank you kindly even though I went there almost out of the blue 🙇 ) Bought this year's freshly made, but it's been a while (not that freshly made doesn't taste great) SANTOUKAI Junmai Ginjo 100% Yamadanishiki Soft with a hint of acidity. Because it's a cold sake, it's clear and refreshing. It is quite gentle. Slightly sweet It doesn't interfere with your meal. The atmosphere of the brewery and the people who helped me were unpretentious without being overbearing (my own image 😁), but the sake also seems to be a little similar 😆 (my imagination 😝)

At the beginning of February, my eldest son asked me, "Do you know what mansaku flowers are? I got one, do you want it?" Naturally, I said yes and got it. After some time passed, I finally decided to drink it 😆. Mansaku no Hana Junmai Daiginjo Yamadanishiki 45 I've never had a Mansaku no Hana before, and this one looks more expensive than the ones I've had so far 🤩 (and it has a Japanese paper wrapper on it). Apparently, Yamada-Nishiki is polished to 45% and aged at low temperature! Looks a little yellowish. When you drink it, it looks like a daiginjo? It's clear and beautiful, but the impression is a bit strong, The taste of rice You can taste the rice flavor. Delicious 😋I like it! On the second day, it tastes even sweeter.

Good morning, Takashi! I used to get mandarin orange flowers a lot, but this is my first time seeing them 😲. They look beautiful and delicious 😋. Your eldest son's thoughtfulness towards his father is also wonderful and you have a good relationship 😊.

A while ago, my second son, who loves wine, came to Yokohama from Shimanami Kaido where he lives for a friend's wedding, so I thought he might drink it, so I bought one. Higashitsuru wine yeast brewed It looks a bit like wine 🍷. It's 100% Yamadanishiki with wine yeast 😆. Soft, sweeter than wine (of course?). But it also has acidity, so in that sense it is wine-like! But there are more wine-like sake 🤔I guess it's not just the yeast. But this kind of sake is good sometimes 😘. My second son just tasted it and said he could feel the smoke. After a business trip, I drank the rest of the sake, and I think it became more refreshing and more acidic.

Izakaya Shinkansen Modoki (on the way home yesterday) On a business trip to Yamaguchi, I had a drink at a restaurant at night and a drink on the Shinkansen on the way home... I was going to stop both and take one or the other, but I ended up taking both 😝. This time, this is Kaikyo, a sake from Shimonoseki, which I haven't had in a long time (was it a good image before?). Clear, with a bit of sweetness. No fruity acidity. It's a daiginjo, but it's al-soaked, so maybe that's the feeling? I don't dislike it. Maybe the clear feeling is because I bought it chilled. A little mellow on the tongue, too. For a cold daiginjo, it feels thick😋. Hiroshima, Okayama and safe... still empty next door😅. Shin-Kobe, out! ...Gaijin next to me.., I think I'll stop here instead of going for another bottle... 🤣 A list of items on the menu Seafood rolls from the fish shop (I just wanted to eat them) Choshu chicken crispy sticks (the name sounds like Yamaguchi) Sea style bamboo rings grilled in Senzaki (seems to be a specialty) Eggs found in the moon. Yamaguchi Natsumikan (a version of a famous confectionery). Kirin Ichiban Shibori White Beer (new product?) Kai-Kyo Daiginjo.

Working in Yamaguchi again. Last time I was in Yamaguchi, I found a restaurant a short walk from Shin-Yamaguchi station (there are only bars around Shin-Yamaguchi station...is that too much to say?) I was going to walk to the restaurant to have a meal, even though it was a little far from the station, but..., But to my surprise, it was raining in Yamaguchi. In the end, we went to a pub near the station 😂. Also, I went to a new restaurant for the first time! I'm going to try Yamaguchi's sake after all! Toyo Bijin Beautiful sweetness, It is more refreshing and clearer than the other Toyo Bijin I've had so far. As you drink it, you can also taste a little sourness. And sweetness, It has a gentle fruity taste. Delicious 😋. The phrase "mundo ichizu" means "to live your life with a single-minded devotion to sake brewing, no matter what happens, now and in the future. These words are said to have been given to Mr. Yoshifumi Sumikawa, the president and chief brewer, by Mr. Yoneda, a famous chief brewer in Nada, whom he first asked to teach him. I feel his determination. Well, that's all for today! I'm off to the hotel to do a little more work for tomorrow!

Some time ago, when my wife went to Shimanami Kaido, where our second son lives, she stopped in Onomichi, took a picture at a liquor store, and sent it to me asking, "Which sake do you like? I asked her which sake she would like. I asked her which sake she wanted. It is from the same brewery as Seikagami. It's a refreshing and crisp sake. It has acidity and sweetness, but it is soft. It's kind of dry (not in a bad way). It's delicious. I can't help but hear the echo of "Maboroshi~! in my head 🫨. I have to shake it off to drink well 😵‍💫

Meguro 3) Let's finish the last one 😆. Hidakami, super dry. Clear! Clear. A little sourness too. It has a sharpness 😚. Meguro 2 This restaurant is affiliated with the main restaurant in Shimbashi, which serves a lot of sashimori. The specialty here is Oze snow (I think). So, the next one is "Oze no Yukimeltsu". This one is clearer and clearer! This one is clearer, cleaner and tastier 😋. It goes well with sashimi However, I think it was sweeter than the last one I drank..., Maybe because it was after Sharaku this time 🤔. I ate quite a bit at the first bistro, so I should try not to eat and drink too much😅

(1) in Meguro Yesterday, my second son came back to Yokohama from the Shimanami Coastal Route for a friend's wedding, so I asked my eldest son to join my wife and I for dinner. My second son likes wine, so we went to an Italian restaurant in Meguro. It was our first time to go there, but it was a delicious restaurant. But our reservation was from 16:00 to 18:00, so we thought it was too early to go out, so we went to one more restaurant 😆. So we went to one more place to drink sake, the first one was a stable? Sharaku It's been a while since I've had it. Slightly sweet, but still beautiful and refreshing! Soft feeling Delicious 😋. My second son who loves wine also had a glass and said it was delicious 🥰.

I've been curious about Yamanoi since I saw it at Sake-no-wa, but I've never had it. A while ago, I found this one at a liquor store. But I bought it! Sour, fresh, with a little sweetness. It's definitely "soft, clean, easy to drink". Gentle taste 🥰. Does the label match the mood? And the yellow color reminds me of sourness. The next day, it got sweeter. Refreshing! A little sweet? I feel like it's a bit of a fruitiness, but not a sweet kind of fruitiness? But not sour (what the heck 🤣) Well, in the end, it's delicious 😋. And easy to drink, it goes down smoothly 🥳.

Izakaya after tennis with high school classmates ③. We already started drinking from the hot spring after tennis, and we drank beer and sake at Izakaya, and then went to dry sake in the latter half (I'm getting confused now, so I'll summarize briefly 😅). Shichiken Furyun Miyama It's been a while since I've had Shichiken 😚. It's refreshing! Dry type, rice taste? Hatsuson Mazan This is my first time to drink Hatsu-son, The name conjures up images of cute grandchildren, but the sake is different 😠. Even when you drink it, it's dry! sharp! The last sake of the day was Izumihashi Megumi Blue Label! The last sake of the day was Izumihashi Megumi Ao Label, which is a local sake from Kanagawa and one of the standard ones. After drinking mega beer and edamame at the onsen, we went to an izakaya (Japanese-style bar). After quenching our thirst with beer and other drinks, we went to an izakaya (Japanese-style bar), The first sake I drank was Hatsuzakura. I tried to make it spring-like. I wonder if this is the last sakura around here today. When I drink it, it feels soft? It has a sweetness to it, but it's also refreshing and fresh!
