Taiheikai 1314 I was at a local liquor store and saw this one and bought it. I bought it when it caught my eye at a local liquor store. 13% alcohol by volume, yeast #14, 100% Omachi, undiluted sake. When you drink it, it tastes sweet and a little sour. What is this taste? I was thinking, "What is this taste? Yesterday, on Father's Day, my eldest son and his wife and I had dinner with four people, but it was a Western-style meal with wine 🍷 and beer 🍺. The day before yesterday, we had our usual high school classmates over for tennis, hot springs, and drinks, but it was Chinese food, so we had Shaoxing wine 🥃 and beer 🍻. Before that, I went on a business trip to Yamaguchi for two days. and when I drank it after a day, it's gentle? Soft sweetness and sourness It's 13 degrees to begin with, so it's not too strong? I can feel the sourness gradually. Super easy to drink 😋.

Izakaya Shinkansen Modoki (2) Oh no....................................................finally someone next to me at Shin-Kobe 😱😱😱 But that's okay! Another bottle is Harada Junmai Yamada Nishiki Harada's Sandesi, something nice 😘. Sweet and tasty, acidic. I think it's because the last one I had was Junmai Ginjo, or was the impression a little different? I think the flavor profile is clearer this time? (I can't really rely on that though 😆) And I feel the Junmai has more acidity this time, Harada is delicious, I like it a lot 🥳. I thought about buying a 4-pack of it, but I ended up buying a different one for drinking at home 🤣. I'm still drinking it while looking at Lake Hamana 🍶. The sun is setting. The woman next to me is eating a rusk type of thing! This time, we close up near Shizuoka! Longest time ever? Longest record so far! I fell asleep about 15 minutes into the trip 🤣. I needed to go to the bathroom 😣. This time, the woman next to me was sound asleep, and I felt bad waking her up, so I decided to hold off until Shin-Yokohama! Thanks again for all your hard work today 🥰.

Good morning, Matsuchiyo 😊. I know 4 hours is a long time for a shinkansen train, so I really have to buy a lot of things 😁. And since I drink a lot of water, I'm close to the toilet 😆 I'm glad you could hold out 🥳.

Izakaya Shinkansen Modoki① On the way back from Yamaguchi business trip, I went to Izakaya Shinkansen Modoki (izakaya shinkansen) as usual. Hoping that there is no one next to me, (If the person next to me is also a drinker, I don't have to worry about it 😅) Today we went to Houtori Tsuru. I knew the name, but this is my first time to drink it! When I drank it, I got a solid and sturdy image. (The label pops though) But, I also feel sweetness and sourness? A little crisp? A bit strong? If I had to divide it into two categories, would I say it's dry? Dry? It's not light. Today's dish Harekaze Hochotatsuru Harada Char-grilled Chicken Harami Isobe-ten (small sardine fish) Salad roll Chochoten Fresh Green Tea Gairo Since I had a late lunch today, I avoided a gutty menu and went light 😜. Not that it really matters, but I bought some Iyemon Yuzu-cha (yuzu tea) to drink instead of water for relaxation. It tastes good, but is it more like yuzu juice than tea? Okayama, still light outside ☀️ Sorry, everyone! After all, it's more refreshing to drink while looking at the scenery outside than in total darkness 😘No one comes next to me ✌️

Good morning, Hiro 😊. Shin-Yamaguchi to Shin-Yokohama, 4 hours, so that's about the amount of food 😅. The trick is to empty a plate around Shin-Yamaguchi - Okayama, where the probability of people coming next to you is low because the table is full 🤣🤣.

Business trip to Yamaguchi Another first for me in Shin-Yamaguchi! I've been to many places near the station that seem to have a good selection of sake, so I went to a place about 7-8 minutes walk from the station. This is the 9th restaurant in the area around Shin-Yamaguchi station where there are not many restaurants (sorry locals 🙇 ), and I'm doing a pretty good job of exploring the area 🤣. I'll try this one today, Amami. If the store is not that particular about sake, it only lists the brand on the menu. I'd like to know what it is, but I often don't ask 🙇. I'd like to know, but I often don't ask 🥴. What came out this time was Momoten🍑 light nigori. I haven't had this one, first time! It was good! But is it out of season? 😅 When you drink it, is it sweet and sour? I'd say it's more sweet than sour. Clean, clean, fresh, a little fruity. Fresh, a bit fruity. Muscat type? Delicious 😋. I liked this place.

My wife bought two bottles of sake as souvenirs from our visit to my second son's place on the Shimanami Kaido and to my parents' house in Takamatsu! She said she decided to go with the one that didn't look like it was drunk (she decided based on its appearance😆). One of those bottles. Kinryo JELLY I'm pretty sure I've never had it. A little stylish jellyfish design? I've never had it before. I just had a bottle of Jinling Gekbaku in the fridge (given to me by my wife's mother in Takamatsu) to compare with this one 😋. I've had this one a few times. It's crisp and light. Clear and clear. Sweetness is only a little, easy to drink, easy to match with food. Kinryo JELLY This is my first time drinking this. Rice is Oceto, white malted rice A little yellowish. This one is more of a sweet and sour type? It's totally different from Tsukihaku. It has an apricot-like fruity taste, but it's gentle and refreshing. The sourness increases gradually. The label on the back says "a handsome sake with an apple jelly-like atmosphere", but what kind of a sake has an atmosphere like apple jelly instead of apple? 🤣🤣 A bit odd? but tasty 😋.
Japanese>English
ichiro18
Hi Takashi 😃 That's a cool label! Makes me want to try it ✨. Sure I can understand w apple, but apple jelly 🤩 I'm not sure 😁.
Japanese>English

Hi ichiro18😊 Cool label 😘 but is the jellyfish picture an apple jelly -> JELLY FISH (jellyfish)? It's a mystery 🤣is the taste more apricot than apple? I wouldn't count on my taste buds 😅

Japanese>English

Good evening, Jay & Nobby😊. You didn't write much about it being inspired by the sea, so the jellyfish is a mystery 🤣. Is this sourness derived from white yeast? It's a bit unique, but it was delicious 😘.

Drinks with college classmates ④ The drinking party in Ginza under the guise of a preview of the seminar's classmates' party also went from Chinese to Yakitori, and the party was about to end. The last sake we chose was Iwaki Kotobuki, which we had never had before! A sake brewery that has recovered from the earthquake What is this "professional"? 🤔Well, it's ok😆. It's Omachi, but the overall impression is sour and clean (maybe because it's after Toyo Bijin?). Of course, I've already had a lot of it 🤣. I guess it really tastes more complex (can you tell?) 🤣)! 🤣) It also looks good warmed up. In any case, the preview and meeting for this day's drinking party, or rather, synchronous meeting, is over! Thanks for the good times with the same old friends 😘.

Drinks with college classmates (3) Next up was Toyo Bijin! I've been going to Yamaguchi for work recently, so I've seen a lot of Toyo Bijin, but I've never seen this label before😳I don't think I've seen it at Sake-no-wa either, I don't think I've ever seen this label before, even at Sake-no-wa. Even so, why wouldn't I have seen this label? I looked it up and found out that it is a limited edition of a certain liquor store! When I drank it, I found it to be sweet and tasty (typical of Toyo Bijin), but also beautiful. But it's beautiful. It's a bit pricey in Ginza, but it's a super-cost-effective super-dinner drink. It's like a super-cost-effective, super-drinking sake! The last picture is from the first Chinese restaurant (forgot to take a picture of the yakitori 😭)

Drinks with college classmates (2) Next up, Kikusen. I think this is my first time drinking this. I didn't know it was from the Tasake sake brewery 😯. Drinking party with college classmates (1) Next month, 16 of us are going to have a class reunion of our university seminar class, so five of us went to Ginza for the preview. The place for the party was Chinese restaurant. We went to a Chinese restaurant, where we ate and drank as much as we could for 2 hours, The first sake was Hakurakusei. In such a case, I have an image of stability and trustworthiness. When I drank it, it was clear. A little acidic and refreshing Not all of us are in Tokyo area, but 6-7 years ago, high attendance of 15/16 people, we need to have a good preview 😝. In Shibuya with members of my former company (3) The last drink of the day was Aradama! I've had Aradama before, but this was my first time to try the improved Shin-Kou. Is this a dry type? I wonder if it is a dry type? But it's a little gentle and has a sweet taste. Basically, it's refreshing, with some acidity 😋. This restaurant seems to have a lot of spicy types? Although we are members of the same company, the oldest is a senior in his late 70s, and the youngest is a junior in his 40s who is married to a married couple.

It seems both husband and wife's parents are liquor stores 😆 (now out of business🥺) We all ask for a lot of things. I'll skip Ishizuchi and Houken since I've had the exact same sake in the past, Next up was Shoyuki, a dry junmai ginjo, my first time drinking it! It's a dry junmai ginjo with a slight sourness. It happens sometimes, I go to the liquor store thinking I'm going to buy a certain sake. I go to the liquor store, and while I'm looking around, I buy another one 😆. This is the Shinanotsuru I bought in that pattern! Nagano sake, unfiltered raw sake, and I've never had it, I guess I bought it somewhere around here 🤔. Traditional label though, When I drink it, it's sweet fresh? But it doesn't have that much acidity. Of course there's no bitterness, so it's refreshing, but it's not fruity. But it's pretty tasty, Shinanotsuru 😋.

Noge ④ After Sushi Izakaya, we went to two very inexpensive standing bars (3 sours each 😅) and went to the last bar of the day. We went to the last bar of the day. But my memory is a bit fuzzy about this place... 😂. I drank at Shichida and Iyo Gagiya, but my memory and notes are questionable 🤣. So, for now, I had my first drink at Iyogagiya. Iyogagiya Limited Selection SingleTank Clear, refreshing acidity Dry type? I think it was dry.., The label on the back of the bottle says that it is really a sake for those who want to taste the subtle differences in taste. The sky was rainy during the day but brightened up in the evening ⛅ We ended the day while it was still light, we drank too much as usual 😜.

But there is always a line before the restaurant opens at 12:00, so we got there early, but it was too early and no one was waiting in line. I went there too early, but no one was waiting in line. I went to a nearby restaurant with another early comer for a quick drink 😝 This was the second sushi izakaya we went to! The last time I was in Yamaguchi on a business trip, I took a short trip to Yuda Onsen to buy some. There were many I wanted, but I'd never had one before, and I'd never seen one near my house. Tajimaumi (sea of many islands) Apparently it was planned by Nakashimaya and a former brewer of Asahi Shuzo. Is it inspired by the Seto Inland Sea? The bottle looks like it. Sourness at first. It's fire-brewed, but it's still 💦. Not so much sweetness, but a little bitterness. Sourness and bitterness are the main flavors, but it's not like wine. Is it more like grapefruit? 🍋‍🟩 The kind that if you're not careful, you'll go gobble it up 😆 (all the time 🤣).

I just had a bottle of Shigemasu the other day in Fukuoka, but I happened to have bought it before I went to Fukuoka and had it in the fridge!
