Following yesterday, I worked at a client's place in the Shiba Koen area again today. I managed to finish my work and had a quick drink with my colleagues. We jumped into a restaurant for the first time. Oh, is this a Gifu restaurant? The drinks are from Gifu! My colleague chose Sanzenmori from Gifu's sakes, because he wanted a dry sake! I knew it was a clear, dry sake! Dry? Does it have a hint of rice? Sake degree +18 degrees Junmai Daiginjo with this feeling 😳 The third picture is legal beef liver😅. One job done and a breather 🥳. Drinking and it's only 7am😝😝. Ganbarou tomorrow 💨

The last in Shiba Park, also the first sake Koroh, dark and mellow Apparently, this brewery is the originator of Kumamoto yeast, Kiyo-kai No. 9 (the 9 is hidden on the label). A little soft? If you say so, it might be mellow 🤔. But I don't think it's as sweet as the sake degree (-6.8, apparently). Tokyo Tower at night is always cool 😉.

Next stop in Shiba Park, Tenju. Never drank before, my first time drinking. The fellow I went with (a junior) was also very knowledgeable and suggested that I should try something I've never had before. 😆 and push I guess it's a dry type? I can feel a little more sourness than the previous one. I think it's a refreshing, light type. I didn't know that Chokaisan is also made by Tenju Shuzo 🤨. Fried horse mackerel, thick and tasty 😋!

A drink with friends after work at a customer's place around Shiba Koen. We went to a Japanese restaurant we'd been to once before. First drink after 2 beers, Umakara, polished 80%. This is Kouko! Taste of rice? A little sourness too. Not very sweet, though, If you ask me, it's definitely umakara (旨辛)? I don't know 😋. But I didn't get the gassy feeling like it says on the label, maybe it's been open too long? 😆 😆.

When I was in Yamaguchi on a business trip, I decided to buy some sake I hadn't had, I brought back a monkey (the picture of the monkey is cute). It's a little sweet, But the sweetness is not fresh or fruity. Is it the sweetness of the rice? I can also taste a slight sourness. Overall, it is refreshing and easy to drink 😙. It seems to be made from a fantastic type of rice called "Koriyanto" 🧐. It is said to be made from a mysterious rice called "Guriyanto" 🧐. I still have a lot to explore about Yamaguchi sake! (I'm just going to drink it though 😝)

The annual tennis - health spa - drinking party with high school classmates ④. This is the last time, Echino Kanbai, a classmate of mine who works in Niigata, is going to drink Niigata's sake, right? I knew it would be a refreshing sake. It has a gentle sweetness, but I think it is a refreshing type of sake. Light and dry? I also had a healthy workout + unhealthy food and drink 🤣. But I had a lot of fun and laughed a lot, so I must be in total good health, I'm sure 😜.

The annual tennis - health spa - drinking party with high school classmates (3) Next, Haneya. Has it been a while since we had a drink? A little shuwashuwa? Was it something like this? The image of a beautiful sake. In it, you can feel sweetness and sourness. Fresh type I ate, drank, and got drunk, I gained weight on the Izumo trip, but since I was back home and exercised for about 2 days, I weighed myself in the bath and it was almost back👍. But now I will gain again🤣.

The annual tennis - health spa - drinking party with high school classmates (2) Next up was a local Kanagawa sake, Shonan (Kumazawa Shuzo, like Tensei), but I've never had it before, so I went with this one. Overall, it's a refreshing sake. A little sweetness in it, rice-like? And as I drank it, I could taste a little sourness? It was a fairly large restaurant, and we were sitting in a tatami room, so I asked the waiter, "Excuse me, if you don't mind, can I ask you to bring a bottle and take a picture of it?" He said yes! The brother who brought it to me said, "You come here often, don't you?" "He asked me for a bottle before, and I brought it to him. I remembered you as a person who likes to drink" 😱. I was told that I was marked as a troublesome customer 😅.

Good evening, Takashi 😃. I guess it's rare for people to go out of their way to take pictures of sake bottles, even if it's a normal thing in the sakéwa world 😆. I've never seen Shonan before! You are right to take a picture👍.

Thank you Jay & Nobby 😊. I'm tempted to take a picture of the liquor bottles when I drink 😙. I guess it's rare in the world😅. Thanks to the waiter for going out of his way to bring it to me 🙇. But I will continue to do so 🤣.

The annual tennis - health spa - drinking party with high school classmates (1) Thanks to my trip to Izumo, I had a lot of work to do. I was in danger of not being able to attend, but I made it just in time. I went to a restaurant in Shonandai twice before. The first was New Moon after the rain. A little sweet, soft sweetness. From the image of the moon after the rain that I had drunk before, this is a sweet and beautiful sake. Delicious 😋.

Izumo - Shimanami Kaido - Takamatsu ⑫ At the end, I asked the master if he had any recommendations for me, such as something with a strong rice flavor or something different. I asked him if he had any recommendations. Kamikigen brewing No. 46 It was delicious! I think, but I don't have my notes... 😣. It was not that unusual sake, but a normal tasty sake (in a good sense).., I feel like I haven't traveled in a long time First time meeting my grandson in Izumo - Shimanami Kaido where my second son lives - Takamatsu where my wife's parents live The last photo is from our trip to Naoshima. We had a lot of fun with our independent family members. But my family drank too much and ate too much😅. I have to be a little more regulated..,

Izumo - Shimanami Kaido - Takamatsu 10 I had already had a lot of beer and makgeolli at the barbecue restaurant, so I was pretty drunk, but at this sake bar in Takamatsu, there was a sake that I had never had before, so I ordered it 🍶. Tenmei Orange It's so refreshing. A little sweetness in it. Some sourness in it. Five drunk guys, surprisingly talking about sake 🤣. And a picture of the udon we had (at a restaurant with a long line around Sakaide)

Izumo - Shimanami Kaido - Takamatsu (9) Since we were going all this way? We left the Shimanami Kaido with our first and second sons and headed for Takamatsu. On the way to Takamatsu, we had udon noodle lunch. While trying different kinds of udon on the way to Takamatsu Takamatsu is my wife's hometown, but I haven't been there for years. (My wife does go there, though.) In Takamatsu, my wife's mother, brother, brother's child, and I went to a sake bar 🍶 after having yakiniku and curry udon. (Mom went home first). First, of course, Kagawa sake! Etsukaijin Clear and crisp Soft sweetness Delicious 😋.

Izumo - Shimanami Kaido - Takamatsu (8) Izakayas on the Shimanami Kaido (Omishima) have quite a lot of foreign people, cycling? I had a few other drinks, but my memory and records are hazy 😣. Shinrai, another first time drinker! It's clear. And a little sweetness in it? In the end, I drank too much this day 🥴. A picture of the brewery's beer as well, as an added bonus! Next day, from Shimanami Kaido to Takamatsu

Thank you, Choroki 😊. I was talking about how there are many foreigners who seem to be calmer than in Tokyo. Maybe they have more time to spare? Maybe it is the Japanese who are not so busy and do a lot of things in a short period of time? (Especially us, lol)

Izumo - Shimanami Kaido - Takamatsu (7) My wife stayed with my daughter and grandson in Izumo, while my two sons and I went to Shimanami Kaido (Omishima Island) with three men. On the Shimanami Kaido, we rented bicycles and went for a little cycling 🚴, visited a brewery, and went to an izakaya (Japanese-style pub) where my second son is always taken care of. First, we had a drink we'd never had before! neki - always by your side Sake from Tenpoichi Refreshing and low acidity, Less acidity, less peculiar taste Easy to drink

Izumo - Shimanami - Takamatsu (6) The fourth drink at Izakaya was Fusozuru Yellow in color. A little sourness, refreshing A little bitterness? Just as we were about to close the party, my wife and daughter called me. My wife and daughter called me to tell me that they had taken a picture of me in the daytime, but they didn't dress me in the right way, so we'll try again tomorrow morning 😱. In the morning, we took pictures at Izumo-taisha Shrine and headed for the Shimanami Sea Route.

Izumo - Shimanami - Takamatsu⑤. The third drink at Izakaya was "Oroku" Honkaku I've had a different kind of Oroku before! In today's rather hard lineup, It has acidity and freshness. Izumo - Shimanami - Takamatsu (2) A baby was born in September to my daughter who lives in Izumo (first grandchild), and I went to see her for the first time with my eldest son who lives in Tokyo. My wife was one step ahead with my second son who is on the Shimanami Kaido. It was a rare occasion for all of us to get together in Izumo, even though we don't all get together on New Year's Day. At this timing, we went to Izumo Taisha Shrine to visit the shrine. Near the Izumo soba noodle store was the Asahi Brewery of the Ten Rising Sun It's in a traditional shopping street. Tasting, 100 yen for 6 kinds😳. 1. Junmai Ginjo Asahi Asahi Sakonishiki Clear, dry, easy to drink! 2.Junmai Ginjo Yachihoko Brand name of Izumo-taisha Shrine's sacred sake Dry, maybe a little strong 3. Nakamachi Enishikaru (The Ten Rising Sun) It seems to be made by the people of Nakamachi shopping street. It seems to be made by people in Nakamachi shopping street. I guess it's between 1 and 2. 4.Junmai-shu Jyuhasahi Gohyakumangoku Slightly ricey, with a hint of sourness. 5. Junmai Kagamigusa (Omachi) It has acidity and a more robust impression. 6.Junmai Genshu Juhasuhi Even darker impression Overall, is it dry and refreshing? A firm impression? If I had to pick one, I'd say I prefer Yachihoko. I heard that during the month of Kamiarigetsu, the brewers are busy with various events at shrines and so on.
