Italian restaurant in Akihabara (5) Sake 🍶 at Italian restaurant with two Akihabara customers. Let's go with a dry sake at the end! (I had another highball after that) I drank Mitsui no Kotobuki for the first time! (I had another highball after that.) Mitsui no Kotobuki, my first time drinking it! I told him about Slam Dunk, and the master brought a figurine 🤣. This one is dry, clear and dry! Finally, pasta and sake😜 that's good too! (I forgot to take a picture of the pasta) Mitsui no Kotobuki, back side? I didn't know the label was like this 😲! Thanks to the customers who usually don't drink sake, but they were willing to join us 🙏 It made for a fun and tasty time! Thanks again for the great food 🙏🥰!

Italian restaurant in Akihabara ④ Sake at Italian restaurant with customers Open your mouth next time Kaze no Mori, Dew Leaf Breeze I've had a few Kaze no Mori drinks, but this is my first time! Sweet and sour with a gentle, clear feeling. Fruity and fresh 😋. Kaze no Mori-like? Well, I'm getting drunker by the minute 🤣. About half of it is work? Half of it is work talk. Half of it is chatting 🤣. The master said that he is grateful to have me open my mouth so that he can taste it too 🥰. It's my pleasure 🥳.

Italian in Akihabara ③. Next, we had a CREATION IMPRESSION! I said, "I'm sorry, we've run out🙏 " and the master said, "Sorry, we've run out🙏 ". The master then asked me if I would like to try some of the sake that was not on the menu yet 😍. and he offered us a few bottles of sake that had not yet been opened 😍. I decided to try Koueikiku Snow Crescent, which I haven't had in a while, and it was my first time drinking Snocre 😋. The master slowly mixes the crescents! A sip and it's shwash💦. Slight bitterness in a refreshingly fruity, grapefruit? Nice 🥰. Will the mellowness increase after the second day? What a thought! As always, it's hard to take notes when you go with a guest 🤣.

Italian in Akihabara (2) Italian restaurant in Akihabara with a customer, and for some reason we drank sake! The second drink was Yoshidagurau, Kijoshu Remix. And Yoshida Kurau's Kijoshu is my first time to drink 😘. I can clearly feel the acidity. I think it's because it's after the Mimuro Sugi I had a while ago. It's so clear and refreshing. I thought it would be a bit sweeter than I expected. I didn't know there was such a thing 🤔. It's delicious too 😋. I asked the master why there are so many sake in this store. When I asked him, he told me that when he started the restaurant, he was very confused between wine and sake. I asked him why this restaurant has so much Sake?

Italian in Akihabara (1) Working at a customer's place in Akihabara for two days in a row. On the first night, I had a get-together with members of the company, and on the way home, the head of the company asked me what I would like to do after work tomorrow. Would you like to go? I said, "Yes, that sounds great. We both went to an Italian restaurant 🇮🇹 For some reason, this restaurant has a large lineup of Sake! After a few beers, we decided to go for sake 🍶. Mimuro Sugi Romain Series Junmai Ginjo Yamadanishiki I had seen this sake at Sake-no-Wa and had been wanting to try it for a while 😋. Gentle and mellow on the tongue, Slightly sweet Delicious 😘.

After work in Minato Mirai, a junior colleague who worked with me and another junior colleague from my former company joined us for dinner near Yokohama Station. We arrived early near our reserved restaurant, so we went to a nearby HUB for 20 minutes and had a beer mug. The restaurant we had reserved was cheap and included all-you-can-drink live abalone and Japanese black beef, so I ordered it! I was half happy 😘. I was half happy 😘This restaurant has a variety of Japanese sake, but it is limited to the all-you-can-drink course, which is a bit disappointing 🥲. The all-you-can-drink sake is Kido Junmai. It's a little bit acidic and a little bit clear, but it's still delicious 🙂. Clear and delicious 😋. I think it's a little more acidic than I imagined before. Maybe it's just my imagination. After two glasses of Kido, we moved on to the hot sake! I don't remember what I drank or how many glasses of hot sake I had 🤣.

When I was in Yamaguchi a while ago, I had dinner with some customers and one of them said to me, "I see you like Japanese sake. Please let me know your home address so I can give you some of the sake I've been involved with." I was so taken by the allure of sake that I gave him my address and this is what I received 😳. I often have this on the izakaya shinkansen on my way home from Yamaguchi? It's from the Sandesi Toyo Bijin series! And it's a very expensive one 😱 polished up to 30% Yamadanishiki from Hagi! It says "Sumikawa Shuzo, the best of all time" 🤩. I'm going to go ahead and check in 700 for this one! I thought it was for New Year's 🥳. I thought it was for New Year's, but drink it 😜! Sweet 😘and dark 😝. It's mellow and beautiful, just like Toyo Bijin! I think it's like a beautiful oriental beauty! And fruity! Mmmm, delicious 😋. A little sourness, too. Thank you to the customer who gave it to me 🙏. I have to give something back...hmmm difficult 🤔

Kikuyu, a sake from Yoshikawa Brewery (originally a local brand, it seems). I have to drink local Kanagawa sake from time to time! So I bought some to see what it was like 😘. It's a bit drier than Amefall, isn't it? (I haven't drunk that much of Amefall either, but...) I can feel the rice. (I haven't drank that much of rainfall, but...) I have an image of a solid sake. It also has acidity, but I don't think it is fresh. On the second day, More acidity? A little more softness. It's a little different from what I imagine rainfall to be, but it's not so bad. Is it a dry sake with a sense of rice? Would it be good warmed up? I thought about it, but ended up drinking it all cold 😝.

Okinawa ③ (final) Laughter-filled trip to Okinawa with 7 high school classmates🤣. The third day? We went from Bise Fukugi Namiki to Janguria via Walumi Ohashi Bridge 🦕. I have a lot to say about Jangria🦖, but I'll spare you here. At night, back in Naha, we had dinner on Kokusai-dori. On this day, there was a member who said, "I've eaten a lot of pork, but not beef! So we went to a restaurant where we could eat beef! Not to be outdone, a little sake 🍶. Aizu Homare Slightly soft and refreshing! Surprisingly gentle I think it's light, but it has a touch of sweetness, surprisingly nice 😋. I ate a lot of things including Yamashiro beef steak. But Okinawan fish is delicious, but I can't remember the name 🤯. Fourth day? On the last day, we went around Makishi Market - Nakagusuku Castle - Kaho Banta - American Village and went back home from the airport. Okinawa in November is very comfortable with good weather (weather was good this time). We drank, ate, and played for 3 nights and 3 days, drinking beer 🍺 everyday from noon (and of course 🤣 at night) Thanks to everyone 🥳 and thanks to those who read what seemed like a travelogue 🙇. I'm going to change my mind and focus on work from today 😠.

Okinawa (2) A trip to Okinawa with my high school classmates, I thought we wouldn't drink sake in Okinawa, but the next day 🍶. In the morning of the second day, 3 of us joined the group and we became 7 full members. We went to Okinawa soba (Orion beer from noon 🍺) - Himeyuri no Toa - Saiba Utaki - Nago and went to an Okinawan restaurant in Nago. Oops, they have Sake 😳I chose Hakkaisan from a few that I thought would be refreshing and not interfere with the meal! Forgot to take a picture but it came out in a small kettle 😂. This one is light and dry! But is it softer than I expected? Mellow? Compared to Awamori, it goes down smoothly 😋. We had agu pork, umi budou, foo chanpuru, mozuku tempura, and many more 😋 We started at around 7:00 and it was almost midnight before we realized 😱. Of course we drank a lot of Awamori and Orion beer 🍺 We had a great time this day 🥰. 75 of Orion Beer means Nago Beer🧐.

Okinawa (1) Went to Okinawa with high school classmates (1st year classmates). One of my classmates is working again in Okinawa before retirement. We visited with 6 of us. We, the first group, went to Haneda for the first meeting (3 beer mugs 🍻). When we arrived at Naha airport, our classmate who lives in Okinawa picked us up, checked in at the hotel, and went to Robatayaki right away because we were hungry! After drinking Orion beer, I decided to try some Japanese sake. There were some Hokusetsu, Tateyama, etc., but I went with Gorohachi, which I had never had before! This was nigori sake, and it was just like that! Sweet, slightly sour, easy to drink 😋. It was gone in no time 🤣. After that we drank a lot of Awamori and had some Bitaro (fish)? Then we went to the shochu bar, where they had shochu shochu (shochu liquor)! I thought 🍶, there is Shichida shochu, I didn't know there was such a thing! I tried to drink it. It is indeed a shochu liquor! We finished with Okinawan buckwheat noodles at a buckwheat noodle shop! I already drank too much from the first ride 😝 but I guess that's the end of sake in Okinawa, right?

I like Tsuchida a lot 😘. I've had a few, but this is the first time I've had Shin Tsuchida itself at home! That! 🤔Brewed 2021-2022 and manufactured (bottled) in October 2025 🧐. When I drank it in May 2024, it was the same brewing year,,, is there a law? Is this a coincidence? I usually drink it cold, but I'll go for Tsuchida at room temperature! First of all, the color is dark 😱I don't remember it being this dark. Is it my imagination? When you drink it, it tastes strong too😱It always tastes strong but 😋. This aged-like feeling 🥰is it a little bit like Shaoxing sake? Sake-like? Apricot type? I always feel the sweet and sour taste. The next day, I tried cold sake. The sweet and sour feeling is crisp with cold sake, which is pretty good too. Not a sake brewery recommendation 😅. Since we're at it, I'll try heating it up again the next day. This is also nice, a bit smoother? Apricot-ness remains. I like this soft aroma of heated sake I heard they recommend aging it at home, but it's impossible with this amount🤣I kept trying and before I knew it, it was gone!

Last time and this time, Aomori sake continues to be served. (Not that I specifically intended to...) Last time, Sakuta, Ibushi Gin...austere. This time, Jozora, Bink's Dombelli...bubbly? Bubbliness or cute? I also bought an unusual one 😅 red yeast nigori sake 🥳. Dom Perignon, not Pindon 😝 I thought it was "pe" but it was "be". At first I thought it was a parody of Dom Perignon, but it's Aomori dialect? I thought it was a parody of Dom Perignon, but it seems to come from the Aomori dialect, where doburoku is called "dombei" (not sure if it's true or not😜). First of all, a little bit of the top clear water...oh...! It looks like strawberries 🍓 or is it my imagination? When you mix it, it gets cloudy and has a different texture on the tongue. Is it natural 😝? The acidity is also a bit stronger here. It's nigori sake, but my image of it is more like doburoku. But it's low in alcohol, so it goes down smoothly 🤣.

Pink bottle and a girl with a gunglot 😱I really don't get the image of deliciousness from this bottle (personally), so I usually shy away from it (sorry sake brewer)... But they are milling the Snow Goddess at 70% (why bother with that?), which they can't call themselves unless the rice is milled at 50% or less. 🤔) Because Snow Goddess can't be named → Black Goddess?
