I went to Mashiko and found Ane-san! And probably Pon-chan is the one on the right, strangling herself with the vase 🤣. Last week, Mashiko is crowded for the pottery market, but this week is free. Ane-san must have grown a size or so. He looks like he can do a deadlift of 1,000 kilos, not 65 kilos! And he still has a nice one on him 🫣. By the way, the third image is a kiln of Kasama-yaki. I don't know the difference between Mashiko ware and Kasama ware... I think if it is made in Mashiko, it is Mashiko ware and if it is made in Kasama, it is Kasama ware🤣. The fourth picture is a cup of sake from Kasama-yaki. Stylish, isn't it? ❤️ The pattern is made by layering clay, so even if it breaks, the same pattern will come out from the crack. I don't know if it is true or not because I have never broken one 🤣. Enough chit-chat, here's a shot of the top: ☝️ There is almost no aroma. Oh, the gentle sweetness and flavor of apple spreads moistly on the palate 🎵. From there, a fresh and fruity acidity comes through to the back of the nose, leaving a lingering aftertaste like after taking a bite of an apple 🍎. This is so delicious 😋.

Sake from the northern part of Ibaraki🍶. I heard it was bought at a roadside station. I'll drink it now that I got it 🍶. The aroma is completely the same as the small bottle of Ippin Nama Sake 🧐 It has a slightly refreshing cotton candy type aroma. Tastes similar too 🤣 but definitely tasty 👌 It has a gentle Japanese sweetness, then a slight sourness, a watery throat, and then an alcoholic kick when you're done! If I could buy this at a local roadside station, I'd be happy enough! I looked at the label while drinking it because it tastes so much like it, and it's made by one of the same breweries 🤣 that's because it tastes the same 🤣. The third picture is flamingo orange 🍊I bought it again this year, it's sweet potato shochu but when you drink it with soda, it's so fruity, it doesn't taste like sweet potato at all ‼️

I've always wanted to try a henohenomoheji. I found it at an izakaya I usually go to, so I tried it 💪. Grain aroma. The taste is quite robust with a gentle sweetness. The back end is astringent? It's good with a sharp finish 😋. I would like to drink it at various temperatures, but since it is an izakaya, I can't go that far 😇. I had it with Ara sashimi and it's great ‼️ I've never had ara before, but the meat is quite firm and filling 🐟. I have a faint memory of ara being in a delicious book 🤣.

I was thinking of something to go with salmon and salmon roe. Open a bottle here: ‼️‼️ The color is a little yellow. The color gives it a delicious taste. ❤️ The aroma is a bit of sugar and grain. The aroma is like the special pure aroma of Shirakiku from Okunoto, or maybe not, or maybe not! It has a thick, umami-like mass on the palate, which quickly passes down the throat, and finishes with a raw sake-like stimulation at the back of the tongue. ‼️ When cold, it tastes a bit bland, but as the temperature rises, it becomes easier to drink. It is best at room temperature. I think people who like Okunoto's special pure sake may or may not like it, but I don't think that's the case! And it goes well with salmon fat. ❤️ The salmon roe is normal, but I ate the salmon roe mixed with yam anyway♪ Costco had so much salmon and salmon roe that I could only eat half of each over the course of 4 days 🤣. Good thing I gave up on it early and froze it 😂. The last stop of GW was Mizore Ramen at Gankoya near Chiyoda Ishioka IC. I was lucky to be able to eat without waiting in line when I went there in the rain & after noon. ✌️ This place is delicious, so if you have a chance to use Joban Expressway, please stop by 🎵.

First time afri~. I bought salmon and salmon roe at Costco for GW and it's a festival for one 🏮. Salmon and salmon roe cost 10,000 yen...it's getting expensive 🤣It's GW, so it's totally OK to splurge ‼️ The aroma is grain-like but also quite sour 🤣The aroma might be a bit like Amaneko? The overall taste is refreshing with bitterness from a fairly light mouthfeel and a sourness ahead of the overall taste. Not as sweet as I expected! I'd like a little more umami, but this is easy to drink 🍶. But it doesn't go well with salmon and salmon roe 🤪.

Choroki-san gave me this... ♪ I finally opened it after putting it off for some reason👍 The aroma is not very strong. The acidity on the palate is fruity like white grapes. The astringency of the sharpness is wine-like 🍷. The taste is a little bit like sake until you swallow it in your mouth! It's not available around here, so I carefully enjoyed it in one night👍. I tried it heated, but it is better chilled 🤣. The third picture is from Menya Ao in Tsukuba City. Shrimp flavored ramen 🦐. Shrimp flavored oil, milky miso, pasta-like flat noodles 🍝. Delicious 😋. I really wanted to go to Ichikawa in Tsukuba City, but there was a huge line and I gave up 🤣.

Souvenirs of Iwaki I didn't know there was a sake brewery in Iwaki city😇And some delicious shiso maki (shiso rolls) ‼️ Shiso rolls are usually wrapped in miso, but this one is wrapped in takuan (pickled radish). The aroma is a typical one-cup one. The aroma of the bottle is a bit tangy 🫙. When you drink it, the stimulation to the throat is tsuyomi. The mouthfeel is not sticky and easy to drink though, The sweetness is heavy on the back of the tongue. The alcohol taste, bitterness, and a mysterious stimulation hits the throat as if to drown it out. I don't know how much it costs, but I think it is good for one cup! This shiso maki is so good 🤤. When you combine this with one cup of shiso maki, the stimulation to the throat is lessened and the sweetness is emphasized. The spiciness of the shiso roll neutralizes the sweetness. This is a pairing full of the feeling of a popular izakaya (Japanese-style pub) 🤣. I'm an uncle who is happy with this pairing 😭

I didn't get to drink it yet this year, Stubborn Table‼️ Freshness like Japanese pear, And juicy apple-like sweetness and flavor, It has a nice bitterness and fruity acidity that gives it a nice sharpness. ☺️ This year's Stubborn Table is so good! It was about 8 degrees Celsius outside, so I think it was reasonably chilled. The second picture is a carp streamer of the Ryujin Suspension Bridge 🎏There are quite a few of them swimming the same length as the bridge 🎏If you don't have a place to go during Golden Week, you might want to try it 😆. I love new things: ‼️ So, Giraffe's white one and Asahi's black one! New products on the same day.... Is there something going on behind the scenes? The white one is recommended for women. The black one has a sharp bitter taste that is kind of stylish. Is it for young people? Both are good, but... Red Star is better: ‼️ Yes, so here is a serious review of Shida Izumi... The aroma is nice, like melon... It smells like something like Aizu sake. The mouthfeel is very fresh and it's like a fresh raw sake. ❤️ I would recommend this to women. It has a sweetness and umami like a melon. It's so delicious 😋‼️ The aftertaste is also very nice and surprisingly good☝️ If you see it, buy it 😋. I thought it would be good with sour food, I tried making vinegared octopus and kimchi, and it was just perfect 💪.

Drink as you feel. Please drink as you feel. I read it as "Please drink it as you feel it," and I thought it might be a hand karaoke type of thing, which I thought was a terminal symptom. So, the original blend by Uekiya! Uekiya's insta photos are always so obliquely processed that it sometimes scares me 👻. Refreshing aroma like lemonade 🍋. Very soft on the palate 🍋🍋. The attack is sweet like a Japanese pear. The attack is sweet like a Japanese pear, from which the umami exudes gently and gradually. The sharpness is easy to drink with a light alcohol taste. ☝️ It is delicious. ❤️ Somewhat similar to Hirotogawa's Tokujun 🌾. This goes well with sushi 🍣. It's even more umami when it's at room temperature, but the umami is quite gentle, so it's easy to drink and before you know it, you've run out of it. If you like Hirotogawa's Tokujun, you may want to try it 😋.

I'm a little sad that Shinshu Kamerei only serves 4-packs of draft sake anymore 😢. But I can't buy it like in the old days, so I don't care either way 🤣. Muscat-like aroma. The mouthfeel is quite gaseous and gorgeous. It's like green apple type sweetness, gasiness, and a slight astringency. Yes, Shinshu Kamerei is still easy to drink 🍶Fruity and light ‼️ It goes well with shredded cheese and dried fruits 🤤. Pickles didn't go well with it 😂. The third picture is a recently released lemon sour called Peel 🍋I personally think this one is better than the very expensive Future Lemon Sour 😋🍋. But whatever it is, the unsweetened Hyoketsu lemon is good 🤣‼️

Camp Liquor 🏕️🍶 Here's the second bottle I brought 💁. Toyobai's Hana Raft🌸 The perfect one for Hanami... . Aroma of green apple, just like Toyobai! I dared to drink it at room temperature from the beginning, but it's the best. ‼️ It has a sweetness and umami like an apple on the palate. The bitterness allows you to drink it without getting dull 🍶. I drank a lot more after this but didn't take any pictures 🤣. This time, we had a lot of gorgeous snacks like shrimp, crab, and beef tongue, and we announced how much we spent on each of them, The most idiotic person spent 10,000 yen, The next stupidest person spent 8,500 yen, The next stupid person spent 8,500 yen, and I spent 8,000 yen 🤣. What do you mean it's cheaper to drink at an izakaya? And to close the camp, 3 old guys went to Yamaoka-Ya ‼️ The stupidest one ordered three different types of food: hard, thick, and heavy 😇That was hard for an old man😇. The long-awaited brief. Camp Booze 🏕️🍶 Work finally settled down and I got some time off, so I went camping‼️ It's spring, so it's great for touring with cherry blossoms, rape blossoms, and tulips blooming here and there🏍️ The flower in the picture is probably a mame-nashi (Japanese pear). I was taking pictures of them because they were blooming so beautifully 📷 This camping trip was a group camping with 3 old guys ‼️ We each brought our own drinks and food, and here is the first drink I brought 💁. It's a cheap one-cup of Sakaegawa, which costs only 200 yen and is very tasty! It's a nice, easy-to-drink sake that doesn't have the stickiness typical of cheap one-cup drinks. ❤️ I paired it with grilled sweetfish and yuzu miso dango!

Aizu Chusho has been good lately, so I wanted to try this one too: ❤️ It's named after Yuri-chan, the toji (master brewer) 😆. The aroma is sugar candy. The aroma is like a sugar candy! The fresh mouthfeel ❤️ is as gentle as ever! The sweetness of the wasanbon type softly melts in the mouth, and when swallowed, it has a citrus bitterness and a lingering astringency that gives it a firm edge because of the slightly sour taste. It is very tasty! It is easy to drink by itself, but it is good with marinated tuna sashimi, octopus, and scallops. It also goes very well with grilled fish: ☺️ By the way, it does not go well with fried food. It doesn't go well with peanuts either. Tsurunoe sake is so good. ☝️ Also, the origami with the crown illustration is cute!

I bought this while I was in Tokyo. It's been a long time since I've had doburoku! They also sold mandarin oranges, but I drank them last year, so I just went with the regular one: ‼️ I don't think it has much aroma. It has a sushuwasuwa feeling on the palate and the sweetness of the rice is typical of doburoku... and the fruity acidity makes it drinkable as much as you want. ☝️ Rice juice is as tasty as ever: ❤️ The alcohol content is low, so you don't get drunk even if you drink a whole bottle! I made it to go with stewed tomatoes and it went perfectly 😉. I wish they would sell this in a larger capacity! I would really drink this by itself like drinking a bottle of beer... 🍺.

Rokurinsha! Rokurinsha ❤️ in my spare time on a business trip to Tokyo! There used to be a huge line whenever I went there, but not so much now... Oh no, it's delicious 😋! I ordered a large portion, but it was too hard because I was so hungry 🤣. This is my first time to visit Rokujyosu. The kanji for "yo" is so hard to read 😂. The aroma is like a bean-tea cake, or a? Sweets? It doesn't have much taste on the palate, but slowly the sugary sweetness starts to come in, and then the unique astringent and sour taste comes to the base of the tongue and throat 😆. When you swallow it, you can feel the bitterness and alcohol like coffee in your throat. It is delicious👍 But I'm too full... 🤣

This is probably the first time I've ever seen Miyakanbai in season. The aroma is plum sour ☺️ You can feel the sweetness and sourness from the aroma. Good for the plum season. ‼️ Attack is impressive with sweetness and sourness. It is white grape juice! The slightly tart sweetness and the sharpness of the acidity are also plum wine-like. ☺️ It's delicious 😋 but it's too sweet for me 🤣. This is kinda like a new masa lover's favorite 👍. The sweetness and umami that reminds me of melon or peach comes to the tip of the tongue softly, and then the acidity and gasiness comes in a chili chili style, and it finishes quite dry and firm. The aftertaste is quite spicy 😳The spiciness is peppery 🤣? It's not like Chu, but maybe it's not like Chu? Is that what you mean by "extra"? Mix it up. The aroma has clearly changed to white peach! The taste is peach-like sweetness and flavor, but still has a peppery pungency! By the third day, the pungency has disappeared and the overall taste is mellow and delicious. ❤️ It goes great with horumon! I think it goes well with rohor! So I also bought some lo hor 💰Lo hor also goes well with it. ❤️
