Cherry blossom viewing season has finally arrived in Sendai! Despite working the night shift, my wife and I went to Nishi Park on a cherry blossom viewing date! With a bottle of chilled shochu and a bottle of shochu on our backs, we went to bathe in the flowers. The weather was warm and sunny, and there were food stalls. After drinking Hyosai Sour 500 at the warmer, it was time to open the bottle of Hana-yosu. Because I had to carry it on my back, I couldn't drink only the top clear liquid, but the ginjo aroma was too gorgeous and the mouthfeel was full of flavor and acidity. This is the true "Hanahayo Kuyu". We were allowed to use the paid seating by the kitchen car as a service, so it was warm in the evening and we had a great hanami experience. Don't abuse me, I'm not allowed to say sake without permission. 〜It's twice as much fun when there is a stall that you like! Thank you for the food and drink!

Hi Ponchan 😁. Sendai is around the end of last week ✌️ I stocked up on hana-yaki for this one 😋. My favorite food stalls are Marutoh Chikusan's Hiroshima-yaki and Kurukuru Okonomiyaki 😊. I've already posted about Kurukuru, so search for it 🤘.

J&N, how are you doing 😁. I'm aware that it would be more picturesque if I carried it on my back, but this time I carried it on my back to keep it cool 😅. Sendai will have weeping cherry blossoms from now on, so you can still enjoy cherry blossom viewing 🤘.

My wife and I went to a nearby izakaya for dinner. Oh, I've been out drinking three times in a row, but don't worry, they are all on different days. I was drinking Toyobai at the restaurant when I got an e/g call, so I ran home and brought in some Souup. This sake is one of my memories from years ago when I was shocked by how good it tasted. The top-tasting aroma is a fluffy ginjo aroma. The mouthfeel has a clear sweetness with a firm umami flavor. The aftertaste is fruity with a hint of sake. The closing acidity and bitterness are clean and crisp. It was not what I expected because the bottle was just opened, but I am sure it will turn into something better if it is left for a few days. Don't torture me, I'll just say sake words on my own. 〜I prefer stockings to raw legs. Sorry for the trilogy of leg fetish perverts! Thank you for the treat!

Izakaya started by a friend of mine in a rather close neighborhood. The selection of sake is not quite as large as I would like, but the chef is apparently very good. The sashimi, for example, is prepared in a way that you can't find anywhere else in Japan. In Tokyo, people are already excited about Hanami (cherry blossom viewing), but not here yet. The color of the sashimi is a nice alternative to hanami. Hachisen in pink. Surprisingly, this is the first time to try it. It is refreshingly fruity, and the alcohol is not felt. After this, we went to the second restaurant with the owner who was drinking with us. Actually, this was my second visit to the restaurant, and I had already had Yamamoto and Akabu on my first visit. Don't abuse me, I said sake without permission. 〜The woman's legs are also a flower! Thank you very much for your hospitality!

Previous Little Drinking Record We found Shinshu Kamerei for an extra charge! Since there are only limited opportunities to drink it in Kochi, I ordered it without any hesitation. Perhaps because the bottle had been open for a while, there was almost no gasiness. Still, it has an exquisite balance of sweetness, flavor, and acidity. Aftertaste full of fruitiness. It has a refreshing sharpness. Everything comes together at a high dimension. Please don't abuse me, I said sake without permission. 〜I felt spring when I saw women's legs on the street... Challenge Product Honjozo Mizutoki Mizutoriki is a Junmai brand of Kesennuma Kakusei. This Honjozo was born out of the desire to offer quality local sake at a low price, even in the midst of the recent high prices. It does not have much of a topping aroma, but when you take a sip, you can taste the mellow sweetness and umami flavor. In addition, there is a moderate sense of tanginess, or rather wildness. It would be good with bonito when it is in season. The sharpness is also very good! Personally, I think it is the best sake! If you see it, please give it a try! Please don't abuse me. 〜I want to go fishing in Kesennuma! It was just a wish, but thanks for the food!

I've been anxious every day since I switched workplaces. I have changed my job and my position, and it's hard to grasp the work just from the handover period. After work, I go home, have dinner, and watch TV while I sleep. Let's put aside the trivial talk and have a drink, Eiko-Fuji! This sake was brewed for a contest, and the sweetness and flavor unique to Eiko-Fuji soaks into my tired body! As the day goes by, the acidity becomes more pronounced, and it has a different flavor than when the bottle was first opened. In my opinion, I prefer it after a few days. Don't abuse me, it's just a sake word! 〜I'm not sure what to expect, but it usually works out.... Thank you for the food!

March 20, the middle day of the Spring equinox, we went to visit graves. We traveled from Sendai to Ishinomaki, then from Ishinomaki to Sendai via Kami, and finally to Sendai, a triangular 150km trip within the prefecture. On the way, we enjoy visiting a local sake shop and a ramen shop that we have frequented for more than 30 years. This is a familiar course that we always stop by on the far shore of the equinoxes and during the Bon festival. In the middle of the tour, we brought back a bottle of Kotobuki from the mountain. It does not have a lot of aroma, but as advertised, it has a clear, dry taste with a strong umami flavor. It is a good sake with a light acidity and bitterness, so you will not get tired of drinking it. Don't abuse it, it's just a sake word. 〜When it has umami, you can look forward to visiting graves! 3/19 As a nodule of the half-century man, he went to his first physical exam. While fainting in agony from the first gastroscopy in my life, I think I managed to complete the examination without any major problems being found. After the examination, I was hungry and also felt like eating something indolent, so I went to Sendai Jiro and had a large bowl of ramen with yasaimashi on the side. In the evening, we had a party at Haneya. As soon as I poured the ramen into my mouth, I could already smell the aroma! This is a very promising one! It had a mild sweet and sour taste with a tangy gasiness, but the flavor gradually opened up to a dense sweet and sour taste. The aroma that comes through the nose is pleasant, and the crispness makes it easy to drink. It is very good! Please don't abuse me. I received a parting gift from a fellow sake drinker on the occasion of my transfer to a new position at my workplace. He wanted me to try Chiyoroku. He said that although it is not a major sake, he personally recommends it. I did not feel much of the upfront aroma, but I did feel a gaseous sensation. It has a dry base with a strong umami flavor, and the richness of the lees and good bitterness add a nice mature taste. It is a delicious sake that can be drunk without a feeling of being too heavy, as the sake is alky and sharp. I have enjoyed various kinds of sake with this person on occasion, and it is a good thing that he is not too far away. Let's have a drink again! Please don't be cruel to me. Next is Isoboast! This is another famous sake that is hard to find in Miyagi Prefecture. It is famous as the sake that goes best with sushi in Japan, but there was no way we were going to have sushi at the second party, so we toasted with a little appetizer. It has a slightly fruity taste with a clean and tasty mouthfeel! It seems to go well with the fat of the ingredients and the acidity of the rice! Comet I bought the other day. I didn't feel much of the scent of the upper part of the bottle. The mouthfeel has a moderate sweetness and a crisp umami flavor. There we found Yamamoto's limited edition. I had bought No. 6 before and it was delicious, so I chose No. 7 this time! The top aroma is fruity with a hint of greenness. The mouthfeel is crisp and clean with enough sweetness and umami from the gasiness. The aftertaste is calm and fruity. This weekend I'm going to Nakayamadaira for work. This is the seventh winter that I have gone there on a monthly basis for winter-only work managing our company's dormitories. This will be my last visit to Nakayamadaira, as I will be transferred to a different office this month. Looking back, it was a hard but enjoyable job with many happenings. Nakayamadaira's nighttime companion! Packaged Kamo Nishiki! It tasted great, but it was also very useful because it was packaged sake, so it was easy to dispose of in the garbage. After work, I also enjoyed a long-sought-after situation of drinking sake in an open-air bath with a tub of sake floating in it. I wonder when I can come back next time. Off topic, but I found a pack of Hatsusun sake in a vending machine in front of Nakayamadaira Station! I did not buy it, but I am curious about the contents! Please don't torture me.
