March 20, the middle day of the Spring equinox, we went to visit graves. We traveled from Sendai to Ishinomaki, then from Ishinomaki to Sendai via Kami, and finally to Sendai, a triangular 150km trip within the prefecture. On the way, we enjoy visiting a local sake shop and a ramen shop that we have frequented for more than 30 years. This is a familiar course that we always stop by on the far shore of the equinoxes and during the Bon festival. In the middle of the tour, we brought back a bottle of Kotobuki from the mountain. It does not have a lot of aroma, but as advertised, it has a clear, dry taste with a strong umami flavor. It is a good sake with a light acidity and bitterness, so you will not get tired of drinking it. Don't abuse it, it's just a sake word. 〜When it has umami, you can look forward to visiting graves! While fainting in agony from the first gastroscopy in my life, I think I managed to complete the examination without any major problems being found. After the examination, I was hungry and also felt like eating something indolent, so I went to Sendai Jiro and had a large bowl of ramen with yasaimashi on the side. In the evening, we had a party at Haneya. As soon as I poured the ramen into my mouth, I could already smell the aroma! This is a very promising one! It had a mild sweet and sour taste with a tangy gasiness, but the flavor gradually opened up to a dense sweet and sour taste. The aroma that comes through the nose is pleasant, and the crispness makes it easy to drink. It is very good! Please don't abuse me. I received a parting gift from a fellow sake drinker on the occasion of my transfer to a new position at my workplace. He wanted me to try Chiyoroku. He said that although it is not a major sake, he personally recommends it. I did not feel much of the upfront aroma, but I did feel a gaseous sensation. It has a dry base with a strong umami flavor, and the richness of the lees and good bitterness add a nice mature taste. It is a delicious sake that can be drunk without a feeling of being too heavy, as the sake is alky and sharp. I have enjoyed various kinds of sake with this person on occasion, and it is a good thing that he is not too far away. Let's have a drink again! Please don't be cruel to me. My wife's tax return documents are all in order. The couple went out for dinner and a drink. Next is Isoboast! This is another famous sake that is hard to find in Miyagi Prefecture. It is famous as the sake that goes best with sushi in Japan, but there was no way we were going to have sushi at the second party, so we toasted with a little appetizer. It has a slightly fruity taste with a clean and tasty mouthfeel! It seems to go well with the fat of the ingredients and the acidity of the rice! I really want to try this sake at a sushi restaurant next time, but I'm worried about my pocketbook. At the farewell party, I offered my local sake Hananobun, but I ended up feeling so good that I forgot to take a picture of it. So, I omitted the picture of Hananobun. For the second party, I took my colleague and high school senior to Grandma Mom's restaurant. I found a bottle of Imi in the fridge! I had to drink it when I found it! So we ordered! It's sweet and tasty, but has a nice sharpness. It's really good! The liquor stores in Shiogama have not received enough for retail, and it is looking like it will be tough in the future, so the road to being able to buy it is closing. Don't be abusive, selfish sake language. 〜I feel like I'm missing out on something! Thanks for the food!

Comet I bought the other day. I didn't feel much of the scent of the upper part of the bottle. The mouthfeel has a moderate sweetness and a crisp umami flavor. There is no sense of gas, but I was convinced after drinking. The aftertaste has a slight alcohol and koji aroma. This is a bit excessive. It has a refreshing sharpness, so you can enjoy it without getting tired of drinking. Tonight is a farewell party at my office. I guess I'm the guest of honor since I'm moving to a new position this time. I will serve a bottle of local sake as a token of my appreciation for all the help I have received. The other day, after a long time, I went shopping with my sake teacher. The sake shop where he works is a bit far from our house, so we don't get there often. There we found Yamamoto's limited edition. I had bought No. 6 before and it was delicious, so I chose No. 7 this time! The top aroma is fruity with a hint of greenness. The mouthfeel is crisp and clean with enough sweetness and umami from the gasiness. The aftertaste is calm and fruity. This weekend I'm going to Nakayamadaira for work. This is the seventh winter that I have gone there on a monthly basis for winter-only work managing our company's dormitories. This will be my last visit to Nakayamadaira, as I will be transferred to a different office this month. Looking back, it was a hard but enjoyable job with many happenings. Nakayamadaira's nighttime companion! Packaged Kamo Nishiki! It tasted great, but it was also very useful because it was packaged sake, so it was easy to dispose of in the garbage. After work, I also enjoyed a long-sought-after situation of drinking sake in an open-air bath with a tub of sake floating in it. I wonder when I can come back next time. Sendai Sorozoro⑥ Osaka's Kata no Sakura We also had a sake tasting of Kabishin, Morimasu, and Kaika's Risshun Asashimusubori. Some of you may have noticed that Sakeya Iijima sells sake only in the Tohoku and Niigata regions. Sakeya Iijima is a sake shop that sells sake from outside of Tohoku and Niigata. Sake from the Kanto region and westward is their main product. The lineup is carefully selected by the owner, who is a sake master. You can enjoy a variety of sake in a kaku-uchi style, and the snacks are delicious! It's a nice place! Thank you very much!

If it's now, I'd like to have a bottle of Gin no Iroha, which just came out! I was thinking that, and then BINGO! The aroma is very nice, though it is not too strong for a sake with a high level of "kanbai" (plum) fragrance! The mouthfeel is sweet and delicious, which is its specialty, but it seems a little more acidic than the others. However, the fragrant aftertaste and the mild acid bitterness that cuts through moistly complete the rounded deliciousness. The rounded flavor is completed by the mild acidity and bitter aftertaste. The raw wakame seaweed served with hot soup stock was also excellent. I've been eating a lot of wakame lately, but it's from the same section.
