I finally got the Mimuro cedar that I had been looking for a long time and couldn't seem to find at the store. Sake with a gentle snowman label that reminds us of winter. As the pop-up label says, it is a medium-bodied sake. It tastes like a traditional Japanese sake with a little bit of a quirkiness in the mouth. When warmed to lukewarm, it mellows out and becomes easy to drink. It became mellower and easier to drink, and the flavor expanded and became more delicious. I prefer it this way 🍶. I drank it with oden and it went great with it.

I like the label of the Big Dipper, the Cold North Star. It is a bit alcoholic in the mouth, but it is very smooth and goes down easily. Personally, I have an image of it as a food sake because I often drink it outside, but I have the same impression of Kanpokuto🍶 at home. I think I prefer junmai ginjo because it has a bit more sweetness. So...here's the thing about the Kanpokuto Jelly... The Kanpokuto jelly itself has 2% alcohol, which is more than that of a microalcoholic beer, and the jelly tastes like alcohol too (laughs). However, when I mixed a small amount of Kanpokuto with it, it mellowed out and was delicious 🍶. (Note that when I went crazy and had a big batch, all I could taste was the alcohol. It was also delicious to eat the jelly as a sorbet, so even though they don't seem to do mail order, I thought it would be fun to talk about it with people who are interested... just for a moment.

I liked the wintery packaging and bought it immediately: ⛄️ The meaning of the phrase is "it snows in winter". The top clear taste is rich and clear with a little spiciness at the end. When you mix them together, the taste is quite mild. The texture is quite mellow and lactic acidic, and the taste of rice comes through at the end. Mitsui no Kotobuki's sake I've heard a lot of people say it's spicy, but I've had this sake, me no Kotobuki, and Mita in the past and enjoyed them, so I think I'll try the standard one with Michi's number next time. When I opened the cork, I was surprised to find that the carbonation inside the bottle was so strong that it was almost like sake! The oriki kept rising to the top with the same force, which was strangely exciting! When I drank the top clear part, it tasted so clear that I wanted to drink it as it was. After mixing it, it was a very rich and delicious sake with a strong lactic acid taste 🍶. By the way, there were 3 people in line at the liquor store on the day I bought it. There were 3 people in line at the cash register including myself, but everyone had a snowman (lol). I can see why everyone wants to drink it. ⛄️
