It's New Year's Eve. Now, the last bottle.., It is not the sake I had planned. It was a big change of direction. Mom happened to have bought some "Torafugu fin" for us. And there happened to be a bottle of Gekkeikan Junmai-shu in the fridge. For the last sake of the year, I would like to make fin sake for the first time in my life. I usually don't read the instructions very carefully, but this time I carefully read how to make it. Well, the final step is to skip the yawning with a chakaman and it's done. Bon appétit! Did I put in 4 pieces of fugu fin too much? It's quite a nice fishy texture. It is full of flavor! I enjoyed the atmosphere of the end of the year to the fullest! Thank you very much to everyone at Sake-no-Wa for all your help this year! I have made it a daily routine to look at the reviews. It's fun! Next year we will be in the middle of the Great Killing Zone. I hope to turn my luck into a positive one with the power of Bishu. Please have a warm New Year's Eve. Have a happy New Year!

Here is a story about the other day. In Tokyo, I stayed in Akabane. I wanted to go to Sakelabo Tokyo and one more place. It was Mimasu Sake Shop. I always watch it on You Tube. What a surprise, it was only a 9-minute bike ride from where we were staying! We rented a bicycle next to the hotel. It was a cold day, but no problem. I pedaled briskly. The 220 yen gloves I bought at the Jujo Ginza shopping street the day before came in handy! I never thought I would be riding a bicycle in the capital city! In my head, "Tokyo" by Yashikita Kajin was playing (lol)! Arrived at the store. Bicycle rental limit is 30 minutes. There is no time to look at them carefully. I took two of them home. At the cash register, I told them with a big smile, "I'm from Hyogo Prefecture," even though they didn't ask. And after 9:00 a.m. on the 30th. It is my own house NOW. Let's drink from the morning~! First of all, here is Bunraku. Is it the aroma of apples? The taste also has a feeling of apples and pears. It tastes natural and unadorned! The casual sweetness is irresistible. It was a very nice choice! Yureru oo Kyooooooo!

What is it? The owl of Minerva? Not "ba" but "va"? I searched while drinking. That is a cute little owl. And hee-hee! It was a symbol of wisdom and philosophy. Sake is also good for learning. The aroma is of the sour type. It's the first time in a long time that I've felt vinegar~. It has an atmosphere of lemon. It is citrusy. It was a very memorable sake!

It is sure to be delicious! This is Senzuke's white koji. This year we also got it in bottles. The aroma is mild. When you drink it, the sweet and sour taste makes you say "Umai! The other "White Koji Activated Nigori" is one of my top 3 sakes of the year. I am very much looking forward to next year!

This is the last outing for this year. I would like to thank Asano Sake Shop for their great hospitality. We went there every week during the Nara Fair in November! The last week is the Senzuke Fair, which I super love! We started off with the "Tokubetsu Set". It's a comparison of expensive Senzuke. (left)Junmai Daiginjo-Harajinshu Shizukutori 30% polished. Oh, it is sweet. It looks dark and juicy. Every drop is collected. You can't drink it normally. We had a very luxurious sake. Junmai Daiginjo-Harajinshu 30% polished Wow, it is smart and light. It has an elegant and refined taste. It is also delicious. (Right)Junmai Daiginjyo Genshu Hyogo Omachi Delicious~~! It is just as it says on the menu. It tastes like apples. It was my favorite taste in the drinking comparison~!

The day after the salmon lab, we visited Saitama Prefecture. The first time I rode the Seibu Railway, my feet were warm, lol. They were lined up in the souvenir corner on the way home from an outing. Mmmm, it smells like Nara pickles.... However, there is no problem when you put it in your mouth! It is a slightly thick nigori sake. It is sweet and milky. I was glad to have a chance to taste the local sake!

Last. I drank a lot - a lot. The waitress told me that it tastes different from the image on the label. It really is! It tastes like sake, but with a melon-like flavor. It has a refreshing sweetness. I would like to try it if I see it in Kansai. I asked the manager, Mr. Kikuchi, to sign my autograph! I always watch his videos. Next time, I would like to visit Nihonshu-tsubaki too! I got goosebumps after drinking sake! This is my first experience. 800 yen for 30 ml. I never thought I could drink a Christmas bottle.... I am thrilled! A box came out over the counter. When the waiter took it out, an unopened bottle appeared! Heeeeeeeeeeeeee! This is bad! The scene of a year's work comes to mind like a running light. It seems the sake gods have smiled on me. I like to think of it as a reward for myself~! The lid of the bottle is a cork! Amazing! And then I take 30 ml. I can't believe this..." He also speaks in a Kansai dialect (lol). It's too good! I apologize to Mr. Shinsei for my cheap taste impression. It was a small amount, but it will be a deeply memorable sake.

This is the "recommended sake of the day" as featured on Instagram. Wow, gorgeous and fruity! It is elegantly sweet. Then the waitress asked, "How about a comparison?" and offered us a bottle of Hououmida Akaban! I'm so happy! Aizan and Yamadanishiki, but to be honest, I still don't know (sweat)! Both were delicious!

Good morning! It is a little after 8:00 a.m. on the Shinkansen. I am heading to Tokyo from Shin-Osaka. The sake I prepared yesterday is Daishichi here. I've always wanted to drink sake in the train. I've always wanted to try it! I will have it before the train departs. Wow, it tastes like sake! It tastes sweet, but I guess it's also dry and crisp. The more you drink, the better it tastes.
