Last Sunday, my friends and I went on a foliage tour to see the changing leaves of autumn 🍁.
We went to Muroji Temple and Akame 48 Waterfalls in Nara.
It was nice because it was hard to get there without a car and there were not many crowds 😄.
On the way back home, I went to Takihama Sake Brewery, which is open on holidays 😊.
Cold sake
Slight banana aroma, tropical fruit and mineral aroma.
Light and impressive acidity in the aftertaste
Slightly dry and pleasant to drink
Junmai-shu made from Kami no Ho, the official rice for sake brewing in Mie Prefecture.
Modest modern aroma, a little sourness at first, and the taste of rice later.
Not spectacular, but good for everyday drinking.
Last of the day.
Yamada Nishiki.
It is full of umami and fresh in the middle.
The richness of the umami comes through smoothly, giving it a threefold impression.
One of the three most prized sake brands, Takihitama from Mie Prefecture.
Delicious, isn't it?
Junmai Daiginjo alone is delicious, but it's even better!
We received this at my in-laws' house.
Thank you very much.
I took a gulp of it without hesitation.
The name of the three pride is not for nothing!
(By the way, I have just decided on my own which are the three greatest boasts in Japan.)
