About 10 years ago, a bottle of jungin was usually available for up to 3000 yen.
But now it costs no less than 3,500 yen. With the rising price of sake rice, drinkers are wondering what is in their wallets...right?
This time I enjoyed Ibaraki sake for the first time in a while. It has a light flavor and elegant aroma for a Yamada-Nishiki sake. I enjoyed it as an in-dinner drink with any accompaniment.
The wine-like label caught my eye and I bought it.
From the sweet muscat-like fruitiness, the soft acidity slowly dissipates, and the acidity lingers in the aftertaste.
The one I had a while ago.
I had no idea about this brand. Aizan rice from Hyogo Prefecture is polished to 45%. The alcohol content is 15 degrees.
Not flashy, but a good sake. I must remember it.

The aroma is very milky.
The taste is also yogurt-like sweet and sour, mild but refreshing! 🥰.
😏 😏 😏
I feel like I've been drinking a lot of Ibaraki Prefecture sake over the past year or so? I'm not sure 🧐.

They won a gold award.
The one they're wearing 🥇 took ✨,
The liquor store owner said bitterly, "You're in the way!"
The wine has been aged for about 6 months after bottling.
The tartness on the nose is pleasant ✨.
Cold sake is good, but it also looks good at higher temperatures 😋.

Fruity aroma of green grapes, bubbles in the glass. Lightly carbonated mouthfeel. Light sweetness with a hint of sourness. The taste is soft but dry. The well-balanced, refreshing mouthfeel will keep you drinking.
