We brought a bottle of sake to the company's drinking party. Because there were over 30 people in total at the party, the "Hana-no-Mai Abyss" bottle ran out early, so we opened another one as a spare and had a drink 🍶. Shinanotsuru Tasatsu Junmai Ginjyo 60 Nama Genjozo Unfiltered. The aroma is like melon with beautiful rice aroma, cool and refreshing, melon-like sweetness and umami, and then it finishes with a pleasantly sweet aftertaste. Shinshu sake is delicious after all! This one was purchased at Marunouchi Sake Shokuhin, where we stopped during our recent drive in Nagoya. It was highly praised by my co-workers who said they don't usually have a chance to drink Shinshu sake 🥰. I drank so much! I drank so much that I lost my memory one station before getting off the train on the way back and missed the next stop 🤣. I walked 5 km to sober up since the train was in the countryside and I was so far away from the station. The 4th picture is the curry of beef tendon topped with fried tofu from Farmer's Restaurant Mamma for lunch the next day 🍛. I always feel like eating curry the day after drinking, don't you? I'm sure I'll be satisfied even without the fried tofu topping 🍴.

Good evening, Mr. Gyve 🌙 Shinanotsuru, I've been wanting to try some of your stubborn table, and the Tasatsu looks delicious too 😆. And it's amazing that you walked 5 kilometers after drinking it ✨How nice to see fireflies while walking home, a perfect health measure 👍.

Hello, Mr. Gyve! Bringing sake to a company drinking party is quintessential 🎵. Everyone's blink-and-you'll-miss-it choice is also 👍️ Shinanotsuru is another Nagano sake I'd like to try 🤤. I know what you mean about wanting curry 😁✨✨.

[I left Shima & Coffe & Sake and went to the venue for today's drink 🚶. When I entered the restaurant a little before the start time, the party had already started and I thought I was late😅. We found out that there was no sake at all last time, so we checked with the secretary and brought in 2 bottles of Yongo (four-pack) 🤣. First of all, since it was the opening of the party, we opened the first bottle of the shuwashu one and had a saké 🍶. Hana no Mai Abyss It has a slight sweetness with a hint of rice malt, a sparkling gas feeling at the mouth, and a dry taste with a clean umami flavor, which finishes with a refreshing aftertaste, almost like a rather dry champagne. Later I found out that it is brewed with Burgundy yeast, so the Champagne-like taste may be due to this 🤔. This is a bottle I bought in Hamamatsu City, Shizuoka Prefecture, where I went for GW! I poured it around to my other colleagues and it was gone in no time 🥰.

Zero after-party at Shima before the company's drinking party. After opening a bottle of "Hana-no-Ko", we next ordered a glass of "Hana-no-Ko", which we had decided to order the moment we saw the cellar. Sono Kangiku Pray for 2024 Junmai Daiginjo/Aiyama 40 Nakadori Unfiltered Unrefined Nama Sake. The aroma is mellow and sweet like sugar candy, the mouthfeel is full and soft, and the sweetness is typical of Kangiku, then it finishes with a gentle aftertaste. I am thankful to have found it here as I had lost the chance to drink it 🥰.

After overcoming an unexpected setback, we headed to Shima & Coffee & Sake 🚶. I looked in the cellar immediately after entering the store and chose this one for a cup of sake 🍶. Hana no Kaori Junmai Ginjo Kikka Sweet aroma like a white peach before it ripens, the mouthfeel is against the aroma, the flavor is mellow and delicious, the taste is gentle and sweet, and it finishes with a gorgeous fruity aftertaste, and the last thing that remains is the bitterness on the tongue and throat. For the entrée, we sampled a dish from Takashi's "Watercress soaked in watercress with fruit tomatoes and fresh ginger" that will be served tomorrow 🍴. The sweetness of the fruit tomatoes, the flavor of the fresh ginger, and finally the freshness of the watercress, which is refreshing without bitterness, seems to be a project for tomorrow's "June 6th.

I left home a little early for a company drinking party today and plunged into real-time drinking activities 🥰. In the morning, I worked up a sweat at the gym while doing household chores, and then went to Fukui Station near the venue early enough to stop for lunch to replenish my protein. I went to Matsumoto Shoten, a yakiniku restaurant in the Fukui Yatai Mura (Fukui Stall Village) that opened in conjunction with the opening of the Shinkansen (bullet train). After quenching my thirst with Akahoshi, I found a bottle at Mizumoto in Fukui Station on my way to Shima that I couldn't miss, so I stopped by 🤣. Kuroryu Hiiraju. The aroma is sweet and mellow like melon even from a distance due to the large mouth of the glass, and the bitter taste behind the clear umami and sweetness on the palate quickly fades to a sweet aroma on the nose and a firm bitter finish. I have not had this sake in 20 years 🤔. The 4th picture is a little yakiniku (grilled meat) at Matsumoto Shoten.

I've been working the night shift from the end of last week to the end of next week as a stepping stone, and I've been indisposed: 😮‍💨 This makes it hard to adjust my time and I can't sleep at night because I feel like I'm jet-lagged, so let's lean a little bit on the sleepy-weather drink that I don't usually do much 🍶. This time, to avoid drinking too much, I bought a few Sandesi and One-Cups to adjust the price ✨. Hakuryu Echigo Breeding Junmai Daiginjo I finally got to drink "Hakuryu" from Niigata's Hakuryu Shuzo, not the usual "Hakuryu" from Yoshida Shuzo 🤣. [The thin sipped sake.] The aroma of rice is clear, the taste is clear, and the mouthfeel is clear, with a slight sweetness and a pleasant lingering aftertaste. The clear umami and sharpness of the taste is one that fits the image of "light and dry" Niigata sake 😋. The entrée was a cheap piece of sliced pork from the supermarket 🍴. Before the Hakuryu, here's a TWO RABBIT pale ale I bought on a recent trip to Shiga 🍻. It has a full-bodied, yet refreshing hop bitterness and a fruity-sweet kick. It was easy to drink and perfect for a calm and relaxing experience 🍺. The fourth picture is of Ryukyu evening primrose that has started to bloom wildly on the premises.

This week, after picking up the kids from school, I took the expressway to Nagoya 🚙. I went to a ramen shop I wanted to eat at, and then went to a liquor store, in this order: ramen shop, Yoshidaya, Marunouchi Sake Shokuhin, and Sake Sento Horiichi ✨. Basically, I try to open the bottles in the order I buy them, but sometimes I thought it might be intoxicating to open them right after they go on sale, so I bought this one from Sake Sento Horikazu 🍶. Oku Trial Bewing No1 Nagisa no Yoneyaka [Glass.] The aroma of mellow rice with the strength that is typical of "Oku", a clear and smooth sweet umami from the firm gas sensation on the tip of the tongue, a crisp and refreshing aftertaste, and a slight bitterness at the end that is typical of "Oku". [Mokkiri.] Refreshing rice aroma reminiscent of citrus fruits, a refreshing sweet umami taste with a firm gassy sensation on the palate, followed by a refreshing finish with a clean aftertaste reminiscent of lemon, and a rather firm bitterness at the end. As the temperature rises, the sweetness plumps up and expands, leaving a refreshing, clean and pleasant aftertaste. The entrée was the same as the dish served in the Enshu Sea: Shizuoka bonito tataki and Fukui flying fish sashimi, both from the Enshu Sea. The combination of the two brought to mind images of the summer sea, and I was pleasantly intoxicated. ⛵️

Last weekend it was chilly without long sleeves, but on May 28th when I'm writing this review, the sun was shining so brightly that I was sweating when I was in the sun 😅. But the breeze is cool and we are experiencing a refreshing early summer 😙. Well, on Sunday night when it was still chilly, I enjoyed a glass of this one 🍶. Sentoku: "Kangazukuri freshly pressed uncured sake". I bought it at Nikomaru Sake Brewery where bouken-san took me the other day. First time drinking Miyazaki sake at home✨! [Glass.] The aroma of mellow rice flavor and alky aroma, the mouthfeel is 19° alcohol by volume, but it has a smooth flavor and alky sweetness, then it finishes with a refreshing and fresh aftertaste, and a bitter taste lingers in the throat in the freshness. [Mokkiri.] Fresh rice and a sweet aroma from the alky alcohol, the mouthfeel is smooth and refreshing, and the sweetness from the alky alcohol gives it a pleasant kick, with a sweet aftertaste at the end. I tried heating it up, but the sweetness and umami did not expand as much as I expected, and I felt the alcohol content was relatively strong. It would have been more interesting to try it on the rocks 🤔. To go with the Miyazaki sake, I took out "Charcoal Roasted Hinadori Chicken and Oyadori Chicken" from "Marudori Honpo Tasaya", which has a smoky aroma and goes well with the fat of the chicken 😋.

The quiet season is over, and it looks like things are going to get hectic again in June💦. If that's the case, I'll have to make sure I drink while I still can 🤣I'll have a glass of this one I just opened 🍶. Senzuke Super Dry Junmai Ginjo Unfiltered Unrefined Nama Sake I had a sake swap with [bouken] a while ago😙Thank you very much ✴️ [Glass.] The aroma of rice with a calm acidity, the gasiness on the tip of the tongue, the smooth and fresh flavor, the smooth and crisp finish, the shallow aftertaste, and the tangy bitterness that lingers on the tip of the tongue. [Mokkiri.] The aroma of rice with a clean and delicious flavor, a sense of gas that cannot be felt unless you concentrate on the tip of the tongue, a clear, transparent and soft flavor, a pleasant and refreshing aftertaste, and finally a tangy bitterness similar to that of gas that remains on the tip of the tongue and a mild aroma that escapes through the nose. The common taste is the royal road taste that is typical of Nada's sake, and although Hyogo Nishiki was a first for me, I can sense the expectations for the next generation from a region that is a major producer of Yamada Nishiki. I would like to have Kobe Beef for my entrée, but my wallet is tight, so I had to settle for Akiyoshi's Yakitori and a 3-piece Sashimi Platter including Sea bream from Ehime in the same Seto Inland Sea, which is a fresh and soft tasting "Super Dry Nama Sake".

Joyo Aizan Unfiltered Uncorked Sake The aroma is clear, but you can feel the strength of the rice, the mouthfeel is clean and clean, and the taste is sharp, with a shallow aftertaste and a lingering bitterness on the tongue, a little bit like Kyoto sake ✨. The dish was grilled eggplant, which was posted at the restaurant as a "current recommendation". The eggplant flavor with the refreshing soup stock and condiments will complement the sake 😋.

Good evening, Mr. Jaive. Poziya] with a great lineup that no longer surprises me: ⤴️ The drinking comparison that was supposed to be the closing ceremony - that's just quintessential 😲. I'd like to try Joyo-san, which I haven't tried yet even though I learned about it from an acquaintance a long time ago 😊.

Hi Gyve 😃. It's quintessential that you enter a restaurant with the intention of eating ramen🍜 and then sense the smell of drunken alcohol👍. I love grilled eggplant 🍆!

[Another round of drinks at Fukuzai Sakai. Tobiroki Special Junmai. The aroma of ginjo is rich with rice aroma, the fresh flavor goes down your throat smoothly, and the taste is clean and crisp with a refreshing aftertaste. It is often said that a good sake is like a glass of water 🥰. I think this sake may be the most [neutral] in me 🤔. I thought about grabbing some more food, but it was past the last order, so I gave up and left the restaurant to go back to my usual drinking ramen shop for some ramen 😄.

I often come home late due to new work this year, and I can't read the end time of work, so I go to work after having dinner 🚙. I thought I was done with my work for the day, but the restaurant was still open, so I decided to go to Fukuna Sakai, a restaurant I had visited once before. It was almost last order, so let's just have a quick beer and a side dish and drink 🍶. Tanaka Rokuugo Junmai Sake My first "Tanaka Rokuugo" 🎉! I thought I had drunk it before, but I mistook it for "Yokoyama Goju" 🤣. Sweet rice aroma with a little bit of fruity flavor, smooth and clean umami, slight fruity sweetness, soft acidity, gentle and sweet aftertaste, and a little bitterness at the end. The acidity is very sharp and intoxicating, so it goes well with the hamo tempura we ordered as a side dish, as well as the unotan (sea urchin) from the sashimi platter.

Hello, Pon-chan! I feel like I've been drinking a little too much since early spring as a reaction to not being able to drink outside for a long time 😅. I personally think that summer in Kansai is all about "hamo" (pike conger eel), so I order it as soon as I find it 🤣.

The day before, I had a good lunchtime drinking session, but I still wanted to drink slowly at home, so I opened a bottle of sake again this evening 😄. I had watched the Fukuoka version of "Asako and Rino's 50,000 yen trip" during the day, so I wanted to eat yakitori or gyoza (Chinese dumplings), and when I went to take out, I was told that Akiyoshi Yakitori was oversubscribed, so I decided to have gyoza (Chinese dumplings) at No. 8 Ramen this time ✨. I chose this sake 🍶 for the entrée. Kameizumi Junmai Ginjo Nama Shu Nama Shu Tosa Urara First "Kameizumi" 🎉First "Kochi Sake" 🎉Drinking at home I found it at Namba Edion with bouken-san the other day! [A glass.] The aroma is like a pineapple before it is fully ripe, the gasiness is so faint that you can't tell if you don't concentrate on drinking, the sweetness and umami like a pineapple with a refreshing acidity, and then it finishes with a fresh minerality that leaves a bitter taste in the mouth and in the throat. [Mokkiri.] The same pineapple-like rice aroma, a fresh, pineapple-like sweetness and acidity, then a mild aftertaste and a fresh minerality that lingers on the palate. As the temperature rises, it becomes more like a pineapple. This is delicious! [I also bought some additional bonito tataki to give it the feel of Kochi's Hirome Market with its gyoza (dumpling) stalls and such ✨.

[Lunchtime drinking with pay Now, let's open the "winner" and have another drink 🍶. I had the same topic with Mr. Maru a while ago, but I was a little hesitant to drink kijoshu because I'm not very good at it, but since the sake I'm aiming for in the future is kijoshu, I chose this one for my last sake 🍶. Yoshida Kurau Hyakumangoku No Shiro Kijoshu The aroma of rice with a hint of sweetness is not flashy and calm, and the taste is smooth and light sweetness, then it finishes with a gentle and calm lingering aftertaste. The back of the bottle label states that it is a modern Yamahai kijoshu, but first impressions are that it is a kijoshu? The first impression is that it tastes so light that you may think it is a kijoshu, but the sweetness is well balanced and calm, and the low alcohol content makes it perfect for daytime drinking. [I was very satisfied at Koisan Shokudo, so I left the restaurant and walked home feeling the cool evening breeze 🚶. I thought it would be nice to spend the day off like this once in a while, but it would be a burden on my wife to take me home 🤣.

[I left Youkamean Kamesa in a good mood after having a perfect lunchtime drink with pay. [After leaving Kamessa in a good mood, we walked through a park and a shopping street to get to Koisan Shokudo (Koisan Restaurant), which we have not visited for a while. I bumped into an old friend of mine who runs a shochu bar near Koisan, so we went in together and had a toast together 🍻. While saying hello to the other regular drinkers, I looked over the sake menu and found a sake I was interested in, so I decided to have one 🍶. The winner of the competition, the beautiful sake of victory, the Rebirth, Tank Pressed Junmai Ginjo Gohyakumangoku. The aroma of rice is calm and gentle, and it goes down smoothly, with a rich and gentle flavor, a hint of sweetness and sharpness, and a gentle aftertaste at the end. It is a reissue model of another brand from Tanabe Shuzo, which brews "Echizenmisaki". It is a reissue of a champion junmai ginjo that recreates the same structure of special-class sake from the era of the classified system. I was curious to see about 6 brands of reissued sake including "Kachikatsu" at a liquor store I visited recently 🥰.
