I spent a relaxing weekend with my family for the first time in a while, and since I had Monday off, I went to the gym as usual to digest the menu. In the evening, my wife and I celebrated our two-month delayed wedding anniversary by going to 🐰 at her request again. This time, I asked my wife to choose the dishes she wanted to eat and let her taste the owner's cooking to her heart's content 🤩. I also brought a special sake to go with her exquisite dishes to celebrate our anniversary 🐰. Katsuma Junmai-shu Shiboritate Nama! The aroma of mellow sweet rice with a hint of creaminess, the mouthfeel is smooth and mellow, the flavor is sweet, and the taste fades out quickly, leaving a pleasant aftertaste and a lingering sweetness on the tongue. The taste is so clear and beautiful that it is hard to believe it is junmai sake ✨The flavor is not lost as you continue to drink it, it is simply delicious 😋. I heard that this one arrived at the Echizen Sake Noten Hayashi Sake Shop at the end of February, and went to buy it a few days late. I found it hidden in the back of the cupboard, and got it right after it was put on the shelf. The entrée was homemade by the proprietress. Three appetizers Sea bream konbujime Tempura of mozuku seaweed Whale sashimi Rice cooked with firefly squid

Last Saturday, I had a long weekend off, but spent the morning doing service work at my oldest daughter's preschool and attending a parent-teacher conference🧹. It was quite an interesting experience to have a roundtable discussion with other fathers in a delicate distance from me, who usually pick up and drop off but cannot participate in events, and other fathers who participate in events but do not see each other for pick up and drop off 🤣. In the afternoon, I took my two daughters to the indoor playground and library, and as we walked through the park connecting the two facilities, I bumped into a friend I hadn't seen in a while with her two daughters ✨. We laughed at how much of a father I've become 🤗. Well, we had a drink at this place, which I haven't had for a while since I was inducted into the Hall of Fame 🍶. Amego no Tsuki Junmai Daiginjo Yamadanishiki Unfiltered Nama-shu [Gugume cup.] Fruity rice aroma slightly reminiscent of a melon, a slight gasiness at the mouth, a clear yet juicy and beautiful umami sweetness, a sharp and pleasantly sweet aftertaste, and finally a sweet taste on the tongue and a bitter taste in the throat. [Mokkiri.] Transparent and sweet rice aroma, mouthfeel, drinking, from a slight gassy feeling to juicy and beautifully umami sweetness, followed by a pleasantly sweet aftertaste, and finally a sweet taste on the tongue and a light bitterness in the throat. The last one has a light bitterness in the throat along with a sweet taste in the mouth. The entrée is a sashimi that I got at half price 😋.

I came home late from work, so I went to Poziya for a quick drink (3). For the fifth and last drink, I found this one that I had wanted to drink for a long time 🥰. Tsururei Tokubetsu Junmai Koshi-tanrei. The aroma is almost neutral, a little like cemedine, a bit of bitterness in the throat, a gentle and mellow umami, and then it finishes with a mellow, deep and pleasant aftertaste, and finally a bitterness in the throat. It has a light and refreshing image, so it goes well with oily menma. I've had "Yukio" before, but this one is delicious too, I think they both have the same gentle umami image 🤔. After 5 glasses, I was offered a 6th glass to try 🤣. Ippongi Arabashiri. Clear rice aroma, mellow umami and dry sharpness, and a pleasant aftertaste at the end. Of course, we finished with ramen. This time, I ordered the basic ramen, "Chuka-soba". The white color of the chicken noodle soup is a little conspicuous, but the flavor is beautifully seasoned with soy sauce. Thank you again ✨

I came home late from work, so I went to "Pojiya" for a drink. The second and third "Hagi no Tsuru Kotatsu Neko" and "Machida Shuzo Nigori" were the same as the last time, so I omitted the review. The fourth cup was this sake. Shikishima Yamadanishiki Special Junmai Unfiltered Nama-shu with No. 8 Yeast. The aroma is heavy with rice and a little citrus, the mouthfeel is heavy with umami and acidity, then there is a lingering aroma and a lingering aftertaste that is similar to that of cypress, like a barrel sake, with a slight sweetness at the end. The last part is slightly sweet. When I drank it at an off-line meeting before, the unique aroma was evaluated to be like cardboard, but I heard later that this aroma was a problem with the equipment, but I still can't get rid of the [cardboard] feeling due to my preconceived notions 😅. The entrée was Poziya's regular ginkgo nuts and menma (pickled bamboo shoots) because I wanted something a little oily 🍴.

I haven't had a weekend off in a very long time, since February 2024 when I checked 🤣how busy I've been 😅. I usually don't get to play with my kids much, so I went to the park, library, shopping, and watched Doraemon the Movie in the movie theater for the first time today 🎥. I'll try to digest it little by little ✨. Friday night, after work, I had a meeting with a colleague to discuss the biggest focus of the year, the renewal of facilities, and it was already 10:30pm😲. Since most of the restaurants were closing, we stopped by our usual drinking ramen shop, Pojiya, and ordered a 5-sake drink comparison. First of all, let's start with the first sake! Tenmei bange yamada origarami ichibi kurazakura Tenmei" after a long time! Slightly fruity rice aroma, soft and fluffy sweetness and umami, and a lingering, full finish with minerality that lingers on the tongue. It goes well with salty food. The meaning of the name "Kurazakura" is inspired by the cherry tree planted by the brewer's grandmother when the brewer was born. The fourth picture is the beer and homemade yaki-sai that we ordered before the "5 types of sake comparison" 🍺.

The cherry blossoms, which just barely lasted until Saturday, are now in the process of falling 🌸🍃, and the leafy cherry blossoms are now completely noticeable. I would have liked to enjoy cherry blossom viewing a little more, but I'm looking forward to next year's event 🍶. Motobun Junmai Ginjo Hana Yeast Abelia [Gugumi-nomi.] Floral rice aroma reminiscent of flower honey. [Mokkiri] Floral rice aroma, a little weighty and sweet flavor, and a refreshing aftertaste with a bitter aftertaste. Both have an image of sweetness that lingers in the mouth with a lingering aftertaste. Compared to "Rairaku" which has the same Abelia yeast, "Rairaku" has a floral sweetness and "Motobun" has a floral sweetness, both have a characteristic sweetness like honey from flowers 🤔. I heard that heated sake is also good, so I heated it up to about warm and it tasted plump and sweet without losing its gorgeousness 😋. It was rated very high in this year's warming ranking along with "Kitanokatsu" ✨. Incidentally, the brewer of this sake has roots in the town where I live, and when I mentioned this at the sake competition, he gave it to me as a souvenir when he came to the prefecture this New Year's to look for his roots.

Saijotsuru Haru-Rururu Junmai Ginjo Nama-Shu. I saw Nemuchi and others drinking this before and was curious about the loose jacket, so I got it at Liquor Shop Okayama on my recent trip to Kyoto 💡. [A glass.] Aroma of mellow, slightly citrus-like sweet rice, soft and gentle umami, sweetness, and a refreshing acidity that cuts through the sweetness and finishes with a refreshing aftertaste and a soft bitterness and citrus aroma. [Tsuki no Oubai.] A citrusy, clean rice aroma, citrusy flavor and sweetness on the palate, followed by a citrusy acidity that finishes with a clean aftertaste and light citrusy aroma. The owner told us that the horse mackerel was good today, so we ordered the sashimi platter and the horse mackerel namerou ✨. The taste of "Haru no Rururu" (Spring Rururu) neatly washes away the flavor of the sashimi and the salty taste of the nameko (horse mackerel) 😋. This one also got rave reviews from the members 📣. April 13th is the full moon of April [pink moon] 🌕️ I was going to have a moonshine party the day before because I have to work that night, but my wife and kids are going back to my parents-in-law's house, so I planned to bring my own sake and enjoy it with the owner's cooking instead of drinking at home. I called my friends and they all gathered, and we held a "moon-viewing party tonight in Kitchin Usagi" with the usual members. Sono Kangiku Jukinmu 50 Hazy Moon". I saw the jacket at Sake-no-wa and fell in love with it at first sight. I was looking for it, but couldn't find it in my hometown or on the road, so I just popped it in with my Rakuten points. [Tsuki no Oubai] A clear, refreshing, sweet rice aroma, with a sweet taste that is typical of Kangiku, from the gasiness of the mouthfeel to the sweetness and bitterness of the back, with a clean lingering finish. Finally, we heard the news of 🌸the blooming of cherry blossoms in Fukui. Looking around the cellar, I found that we still have some winter sake left, so I'm going to enjoy a glass at the end of winter 🍶. Kibotsuru Gaba Nigori. I was very lucky to get a bottle of this sake, which was also drunk by bouken a while ago and was very well received 🥰. The ratio of nigori (rice cake) precipitated in the bottom half of the bottle is amazing. [The top clear liquid.] Gulping down the sake Aroma of mellow rice, a slight gassy feeling at the mouth, rich umami, sweetness, a clean finish, and a gentle, sweet, pleasant aftertaste. Mokkiri The same mellow rice aroma, a slight gassy mouthfeel with a refreshing umami, followed by a sweet taste and a slightly tight aftertaste. [Nigoromi] Gulping down sake Rich rice aroma, a slight gassy feeling at the mouth with a mildly gassy taste, a clean and refreshing sweetness and umami, and a milky, mellow aftertaste. Mokkiri Rich rice aroma, a little gas at the mouth, clear and impactful sweetness and umami, and a long pleasant aftertaste. The rich and thick texture on the tongue is inversely balanced by the clear and beautiful sweetness and umami, and the long aftertaste is intoxicating. As you drink more and more, the thickness and flavor increases, and the change in flavor becomes stronger as you drink more.

On the day of the marathon, we woke up at 3:30 a.m. and arrived at the site at 5:30 a.m. We made final preparations for the last major event of 2024 [the Fukui Sakura Marathon] under cold weather mixed with sleet, and were able to finish the marathon without incident, even though our fingers were numb ✨. With this, we were able to accomplish all of our duties during the fiscal year with no accidents, no forgotten items, and no tardiness, and we are now ready to start the new fiscal year with cherry blossoms in bloom🥰. Well, I did really well in spite of myself, I would like to open this as a reward and praise myself 💡. Shinsei No6 S-type First home drinking "Shinsei" 🏳️First "S-type" 🏳️ The recommended expiration date when I bought it was the last day of March, so I decided to open it on that day. [Mokkiri.] The aroma of rice is calm and clear, the mouthfeel is slightly gassy and can be described as sweet or umami, then it finishes with a hint of sourness, followed by two long, pleasant deep breaths and a lingering sweet aroma at the end. Trip time: 24 seconds [Gulping down the sake] A clear and transparent aroma of rice, a gentle sweet and sour taste with a slight gassy feeling at the mouth, and a long, pleasant aftertaste that lasts for about one deep breath. Trip time: 15 seconds The entrée is local Echizen [sagoshi tataki] and [flatfish sashimi] 😋.

I'm in the final push for Sunday, and the reason I've been pushing so late is because my in-laws invited me to a spa on Friday night right before the event 😅. The kids were so happy to be able to wear yukata and eat buffet food, I could see them so happy when they rushed to the buffet after work 😁. I thought the all-you-can-drink hotel might not be so good, so I opened a bottle of sake that I brought as a backup and wished them a successful weekend 🍶. Tasake Junmai Daiginjyo 40%5%. Sweet, melon-like fruity aroma, soft, mellow sweetness and umami, and a gentle, sweet aftertaste. The can is a No. 1 can, which makes it easy to carry, but the flavor is genuine and quite delicious 😋. It is a little expensive, but I think it is very useful when traveling or drinking iron 🥰. The next day after another very satisfying "Sake Katsudo in Kyoto", I was back home late every day to prepare for the next "Fukui Sakura Marathon" coming up next Sunday. The day after the "Sake Katsudo in Kyoto", I was late coming home every day to prepare for the "Fukui Sakura Marathon🏃" coming up next Sunday 💦. I decided to have dinner out since I was coming home late, so I slipped in a little before the last order at Pojiya, a ramen restaurant open only at night, but I still wanted to drink a little 😅. The previous day, they had a lot of sake and they were out of 5 kinds of sake, so we ordered 3 kinds of sake and then they said they had another bottle, so it was actually 4 kinds of sake 😁. First of all, we had a glass of the last sake that was served at the end. Machida Shuzo Tokubetsu Junmai Gohyaku Mangoku Nigori The lid blew off from the sealed bottle, the gas pressure increased and so did the anticipation ✨. Aroma of mellow lactobacillus, a firm gassy mouthfeel, and a bitter taste with presence on the tongue behind the sweetness of the lactobacillus drink, the aftertaste is clean, but the bitterness pulls you in. Drinking in Kyoto in Early Spring Complete We left Yokocho with great satisfaction and headed for Kyoto Station. Thanks to the taxi ride, I had some time to spare, so I slipped into Inaseya, a standing bar in front of Kyoto Station that I had been anxious to visit for the last sake. Tamanomitsu Junmai Ginjo Shukon. A clean rice aroma, a refreshing flavor and sharpness, and a slightly bitter aftertaste. The entrée was "Luxury Seafood Natto" 😲. What's that? Natto goes really well with sake 😋 Put natto on top of chilled tofu and have it as an appetizer during the hot season 😋. First, we ordered an unnamed hot sake and a limited quantity of "roast beef" 🍴. I drank to my heart's content for the first time in a long time 🥰! Now, let's try to close out the fiscal year 💪.

[I was excitedly waiting to see what was going to be served at Shinsei (900 yen per 1 gou) and was surprised to find it was Ecru 😲, and it was also my first time drinking it. I got a bottle to commemorate my last drink 🤣. The aroma is slightly woody with a hint of wooden vat, the flavor flows smoothly through the mouth with a woody aroma, the acidity is sharp, and the aftertaste is clean and pleasant. The meat is almost rare on the inside and seared on the outside. It is one of the most delicious duck loin I have had in Kyoto. The final course was homemade mackerel sushi and red miso soup with shijimi clams, which I thought was unusual for Kyoto, but the soup stock, nameko mushrooms, green onions, and sansho (a Japanese pepper) brought out the Kyoto flavor.
