I was particularly impressed with this sake last year. I purchased it yesterday at Sudou Sake Shop instead of at Shizukiya. I think the price has gone up considerably from last year, but it is still reasonably priced at 1,760 yen! It's still great, after all! It's a rice wine! How can it not be good? It's not as good as other sake Compared to other new brews of this season the breadth and depth of flavor is outstanding. Last year, I had a lot of questions about this sake. It's good! I heard that he said one word about this sake last year. It hasn't evolved even after a year.

At Shizukiya I bought a bottle (it was all I could find). I imagined a sake with a strong acidity, but it was somehow different from the usual Yamamoto. I think it was a No. 6 sake... Alcoholic taste lingers on the palate. It's too smooth... Is it because of my physical condition? I'll seal it up today in anticipation of tomorrow and beyond.

Long trip to Sendai Again, I went out at Mito station to change trains. I bought some sake. This time, I also got some kushikatsu (skewered pork cutlets)! Raifuku's Aizan is a bit expensive for a travel sake, so I bought this sake. Morishima Sake Brewery is said to be the closest to the sea! The first new sake of the year, I guess. At Abehachi Muscat? This is a Shine Muscat! Superb sake made from raw, unfiltered Yamadanishiki. Like the Abe I drank the other day, this one is also good.
