Nagano Sake Festival (6) Thanks to the fact that I've been playing Nigorinpic for so long, I couldn't get to it, but finally I'm opening a bottle of sake from the Nagano Sake Hanpukai that I started in April this year 😀. I like the fact that the contents are a secret, so you can drink it without any preconceived notions 😇. The only thing we know about this sake is that it is also made with Yamae-Nishiki and that it is a sake made with a raw yeast yeast 🤣. Our family's score is 11 out of 15 😇. The aroma is moderate and the taste is on the dry side for our family, but the rich umami wraps around the dryness well, making it easy to drink and highly rated as a food sake 😀. This kind of dry sake is delicious 😇

Nagano Sake Festival (5) Celebrating 700 check-ins: ㊗️ We just opened a bottle of Junmai Hitogokochi Hi-ire that we just got during the Nagano Sake Festival 😇. This season, the last time we can get it at our distributor in Kansai will be at Hexagon in Autumn, so we won't be able to get any new ones for a while 😅. This time we were able to purchase a special sake warming bag from Shinshu Kamerei together with the bottle 😇. According to the owner of the store, this Junmai Hitogokochi Hi-No-Kiri has the best reputation among the restaurants that he distributes from his shop😇. My feeling is that the sake from Junmai Ginjo is too beautiful to be used as a food sake, so this Hi-ire Junmai sake is perfect for that purpose 🤣. But still, what a high cost-performance ratio for a sake of this level in the 1500 yen range 😇! Shinshu's 🐢sama is a great sake after all😇. I took the opportunity of the 700 check-in to remove the sake beginner from my profile: 🙇‍♀️

Nagano Sake Festival ④ Kaorin went to Kyoto for her college reunion today, so I was excited to see what I could enjoy by myself, but the phone rang first thing in the morning to inform me that the equipment was out of service due to a work error by the manufacturer😅🥲. I went to the center to see what was going on, but they managed to get the equipment back up and running, so I came home, but it was halfway through the day and there was nothing I could do... I guess I'll just have to drink this one 🤣. The sake I'm going to drink is the Kutsukake Shuzo's Fukumugari, which I bought on a brewery tour in Ueda this spring. The brewery is located in Nagano prefecture and the people who were born in the year 59 formed the "Gokujo" group and they brew a theme sake every year. The rice polishing ratio is 59%😇. It was a sake with a lot of flavor 😀. I didn't really feel the fruity feeling that is typical of Nagano sake, but the core umami was very drinkable, like an expression of the sake's assertion 😀. If I could, I would like to try the other 4 bottles from the other breweries in the Gokujokai, but I guess that would be impossible 🤣.

Today's Nagano Prefecture sake is a special junmai from Nanasho, which I was most impressed with at the recent Japanese sake festival. The aroma is so strong that the moment you open the bottle, you can smell the wonderful aroma 😇. The taste also has a nice acidity, which emphasizes the fruity flavor, making it a very tasty sake😇. Today was the day of the Ox, so we had it with the unagi version of Mame Tanuki's Inari, which went well with it😇. Today, I saw Oni no Kai in IMAX on the second day after its release 😀. I enjoyed the world of Oni no Kai with its overwhelming power and beautiful images 🤣.

This is another Miyajima Selection sake from Miyajima Sake Brewery in Ueda City, Nagano Prefecture, sent to us along with the May hanpukai sake 😀. It is a new brand launched by Kikusui Sake Brewery in Nagano in March this year, and is a modern brand using only Takananishiki 😀. The taste and flavor of the sake was very complex, not unlike a junmai ginjo 🤣. It has a moderately robust taste, with a strong and umami flavor 😀. I think I would have liked it more if it had a little more of the Junmai Ginjo flamboyance, but the taste itself was delicious 😀.

Starting today, we will be holding a sake festival in Nagano for a while 😀. Since April, we have been requesting Shinshu Secret Sake Hanpukai sake via Miyajima Sake Shop in Ueda City, Nagano Prefecture 😀. At the same time, we also asked Miyajima Sake Shop to send us their own selection, so we received 3 bottles of Shinshu sake every month, so we have quite a collection of Nagano sake in our cellar 😇. Here is the sake selected by the liquor store and sent to us in April 😀. The brewer of Toyoka collaborated with a female university student to brew this sake with a slightly lower alcohol content and a flavor that women like 😀 The concept is to make it easy to drink in a modern way 😀. The concept is said to be modern and easy to drink, and this sake fits the bill perfectly 😇. Fruity aroma and taste. The fruity aroma and taste spread on the palate and pop beautifully 😀 The aftertaste is also slightly fruity. The aftertaste also has a hint of fruit, but I was surprised at how sweet and tasty it was without any unpleasant taste at all🤣. College girl's favorite sake was a favorite in our house 😇

This sake was given to me as a reward for volunteering at the Japanese Sake Festival. I was a little happy to receive this sake because it reminded me of my wife, Kaorin 😇. I tasted it at the Japanese Sake Festival and Kaorin and I both loved the aroma of it 😀. We felt lucky to receive this sake as a reward 😇. This aroma is not a fruit but a flower...the pink label reminds me of cherry blossoms, but it's not cherry blossoms, but it's a nice aroma 😀. I thought it was sweet and tasty on the palate... but then came the tight and dry strength, which was a surprise. ‼️ It was the complete opposite of the Koshino Oni we had earlier, sweet and umami, and then boom, strength 🤣. Sake is really a wonderful and tasty drink with many surprises 😇

As a volunteer staff member of the Japanese Sake Festival, you will receive a bottle of sake provided by one of the participating breweries per day. I volunteered at the Spring Japanese Sake Festival and this is the sake I received at that time😇. I would never buy a bottle of Niigata sake that is dry and drunken, but I would never buy it for myself at home 🤣. I opened the bottle and decided to enjoy the sake since it was given to me 🤣. As you would expect from a sake from Niigata Prefecture, a place synonymous with light and dry sake, and with a scary name like Drunken Demon Dry 😅. The moment I took a sip, I was hit with a strong and thumping sake feeling 🤣. Just when I thought I couldn't continue drinking it, a refreshing sweetness spread in my mouth 😀 ❓ What is this❓ What is this? What is this❓What is this❓Where did this sweetness come from❓..................................a great change of taste appeared in my mouth😇. Even my family, who loves sweet and savory taste, can enjoy this 😇 It is a sake that teaches us how to enjoy the taste of light and dry sake and how to enjoy the change of taste😇.

Japanese Sake Festival Osaka Day 2 Since this year's sake festival was held in the summer, summer sake and sparkling sake were especially popular among the sake breweries 😀. It was especially interesting to see WAKAZE, whose name I have known for a while but it was my first time to see it 😀. Sake Fest Osaka Day 1 is over 😀. This time I was in charge of guiding people around the venue, but I only had to protect one person who was very drunk, so there were no major problems 😀. The event was divided into two parts, but each part had a 20-minute break, during which time you could freely enjoy tastings and talk with the brewers 😀 We visited quite a few breweries' booths, but that was the best part of the event. I visited quite a few breweries' booths, but the one that surprised me the most was Gohashi from Yamaguchi Prefecture😇. MIZUCH, which was released as a one-off last year and surprised me when Wamal-san drank it, will become a regular four-color product this season, and the previous Ride? The series is going to disappear 🤣. This time, MIZUCH brought two colors, yellow and blue, but the yellow one was more like MIZUCH's image from last year's one-off sales😇. The photo is with the Japanese Sake Festival management 😀. Now, I'm heading to the venue again today as a volunteer staff 😀.

I opened a bottle of Nagano sake...Jungin Gohyakumangoku from Gokotsuru. So far, Gokotsuru has only used Nagano sake rice, so the dry nuance on the palate is a bit different from the Gokotsuru I've had so far 🤣. But it's easy to drink with low alcohol content and the spiciness starts to soak into your body in no time at all 🤣. The spiciness comes from the firm mouthfeel, and then it finishes off nicely, making it a very tasty sake 😀. It was a little different from the usual Goko, but it was a delicious sake 😀.

I read on Sake-no-wa that everyone was happy with Hanamaru's Shogou bottles, so I bought a Shogou bottle to try it out 🤣. However, we love Hanamup-san in our house, and if you have room in your sake cellar, you might be happy with a 1.5 liter bottle 🤣. Hanamamu-san is consistently delicious😇. Yasubeyesan, here we go too 🐦🐦🐦. I was surprised to see that you bought a 4-gou bottle 😳Yasubeyesan's house = Hana Oup 1-gou bottle 🤣. Thank you for your hard work in the hot weather of the Japanese Sake Festival 😊.

Hi, Pon-chan 😀 Actually, I went to the store with the intention of buying a bottle of Hanamup, but the store owner told me they had a shigou bottle and went out of her way to bring it out from the back of the house so I had to buy a shigou bottle 🤣.

I have successfully completed the 100th Nigorinpic 😀. Here's a look at the sake stocker and all that's left is clear sake, so I'm going to give it a while before restarting 😇. Today's sake to be opened is a collaboration between Kabishin-san from Okayama and my neighbor Kinoshita Meishu-shuten 😀. The person in charge from the brewery happened to be at Kinoshita when I visited the store, so I tasted it and then bought it! 😇 This sake, as the name suggests, has muscat in the front 🤣. With an alcohol content of 8 percent, it was an interesting sake with a low alcohol content and a strong image of muscat 😇. I will be opening the clear sakes in my house one after another for a while from now on😇

Good morning, Yasbay 🌞I see the clear sake part is starting after the milestone ✨I'm looking forward to it ☺️ Muscat aroma is easy to drink in hot summer 🍶I think the manager recommended it to me last time 😅.

Good morning, Yasube 😃. This bottle looks like a good step change from nigori to clear sake: ‼️ It's a light muscat flavor that we like 😙🤗.

Good evening, Jay & Nobby 😀 Sake that is low in alcohol but has a firm acidity is a sake that I can enjoy thoroughly because I don't get tired of drinking it 😀. To move from nigori festivals to clear sake, sake with a strong acidity is good 😇.

Summer Nigorinpik 100 Today is Tanabata, and we are celebrating with a total of 100 bottles of nigori sake this season at our house 🎉! This is the second appearance of Hirotogawa nigori sake this season. Last season we wanted to drink Hirotogawa Nigori but finally couldn't get it...so this season we got two bottles each of Jigokawa Nigori and Hirotogawa Nigori as soon as the season started😇. I was prepared that I would not be impressed when I first drank them since they had been stored for more than half a year, but that was not the case at all. Even though it is not called "active nigori", the bottle was opened slowly, but even with automatic stirring, a nice aroma spread at once and the tongue was well-stimulated😇. I knew a nice nigori would remain fresh and tasty even after a little bit of storage 🙆🙆. The 100th bottle was also nice 😇

Thank you Nao888 🙏. I managed to make it here to the Kiridan number 😀. Hirotogawa Nigori is an excellent sake that does not change its taste over time, so it is possible to prepare multiple bottles and open them at different times 😇.

Walking in Expo Park with Sake: 🚶‍♀️ It's been a while... a few weeks, but I went walking to the Expo Park again today 😀 I brought my own sake today, FRAISE by Hyakushun... it's French for strawberry. The sake I brought with me today was FRAISE by Hyakushun...strawberry in French...and as the saying goes, it was fruity, sweet and delicious, perfect for sake to drink on the way to the park 😇. The alcohol content was 13 degrees, the sake level was ~20, and the acidity was 3.2, just like the specs 😇. However, with my poor taste buds, it tasted more like an apple than a strawberry 🤣. I had a chance to meet the young president of Hyakushun at the recent Kokusyu Sake Fair and we had a chance to talk and take a picture together. When I visited Hata Sake Brewery after that, I told the owner about it and he told me that he had dropped by Hata Sake Brewery the day after the Kokusyu Sake Fair 😀. He said he had heard Hata's name at the National Sake Fair and said he had not seen him for a long time so he wanted to say hello 😀. I was a little happy to see that we connected the sake brewery and the liquor store in an unexpected way 😇.

Summer Nigorinpic 99 In the Summer Nigorinpik, I'll continue today with the activated nigori 😀. We had an Activated Nigori Sake from Ikki Sama 😇. Continuing from the Shuwashuwa Activated Nigori that we have been opening recently, we opened this one 😀. This sake didn't have as strong a carbonation as the activated nigori we've been drinking recently, but it had a great bubbling sensation 😅. It was a delicious sake with a delicious jungin taste, a bit different from the firm nigori jungin mouthfeel!

Summer Nigorinpik 98 Today, we will open a bottle of Yamashiroya's WABI WABI 😀. All of the Shuwashuwa Nigori that I have been drinking recently were second fermentation in the bottle, but this one is made by adding carbon dioxide gas to the sake made from the original sake brewing process to make it shuwashuwa 🤣. The sourness from the solid carbonation is similar, but it's more like a dryer sizzling sensation, which was a fun encounter with a lot of variety 😀.

Sake-no-wa Kansai Branch Sakai Bring Your Own Drinking Party (2) I was quite worried about what to buy the other bottle of sake, but I hiked up a mountain and bought a bottle of sake made by Aburacho Shuzo, the brewer of Kaze no Mori, which was shared with several breweries in Nara at the Bodai Hashimoto Festival held in January at the Shoreki-ji Temple. This is the second time I've been to the Shoreki-ji Bodaihashi Festival and the second year in a row I've bought this sake 😀. I was advised by a friend of mine that it tastes better if you let it sit for a while, so last year I let it sit for 3 months and it tasted pretty good 😇. This year, I brought the sake that I let it rest for half a year, and it was highly praised by everyone 😀. Next year, I will participate in the Shorakuji Bodhi Hashiro Festival again, and this time, I will try to let it rest for a year 😇.
