This year, I was aiming to complete all of the SHI-CHU-SAN, but it was indeed difficult to do so in parallel with the Nigorinpik 😅. The pace of the release of the different labels of Murasaki Sake is so fast that today's Heart Label is the last of the Murasaki Sake stock because of the space taken up by Nigori-Sake🤣. This Heart Label was also a delicious sake😇 The sake rice used is Gingin Ginga 😀. The sake rice used was Gin Ginga 😀 It had a gorgeous aroma among the Murasakyu series 😀 It had a heavy sweet-amami flavor. It had a heavy sweet umami flavor, but it was a delicious sake with a beautifully gorgeous taste and a nice sharp finish 😀. Next season, I would like to complete the Murasaki Uchu series 😇.

The weather was not so good today and it was raining in the morning🤣. Kaorin and I were discussing what to do, but to our surprise, we were told that we could see the new Mission Impossible movie at the Expo Expo City as an advance screening... and it was in 4DX 😀! We enjoyed the movie from past 9:00 in the morning until past 12:00. I won't go into details because it would be a spoiler, but my seat was the shakiest in the history of 4DX and I got quite a few water droplets on my head 🤣. I was so immersed in the movie that when I went outside to enjoy it, the rain had stopped and the weather had improved, so I went straight to the Expo Park to buy a box lunch and let's go 😀. I had brought my own sake from home with a musical note label by Shihu 🤣. The label is called "musical note label" because it is made from Yumepikari sake from Bibai City 😀. Compared to the Jun Dai Army Label that we compared, this sake was rather sweet and tasty😇.

This will be my first time drinking Eiko-Fuji's AiYama🤣. However, it is definitely a delicious Eiko-Fuji, and AiYama is one of my favorite sake rice...how can it not be delicious? The aroma was unexpectedly light on the nose, but the taste was sweet and delicious 😀. It has some nuances similar to the Junmai Daiginjo of Murasaki Uchu that we had yesterday 😇. But the taste of sweetness is not simply fruity, it's quite a complex sweetness 😀. But in the end, it was a delicious sake without being clingy 😇.

This season, my goal was to drink all the labels of Shiuchu and Wakamusume, but I had to revise my dream around this army label 🤣. I had to give up the dream to complete the army labels because the nigori restriction was too tight 😅. I was able to drink the army label without any problems, though I had to leave it in the shadow of Nigorinpik 😇. Army Label is a Junmai Daiginjo, but it is a little different from the other Murasakichi sakes I've had, being a more mature sake with less sweetness and less fruitiness. Even so, it had a strong umami flavor, and that is what you would expect from Murasakyuu.

After the Nigorinpic, the clear sake that has accumulated is released 🤣. Today, we will open a bottle of Tatenogawa's New Year's sake 😀. It's a bit off the time of the year 🤣. Actually, I was hesitant to drink this sake until now because I heard that Maru-san drank it before and found the acidity too harsh 😅. I think the acidity of 2.3 with white malted rice is pretty harsh😅😅. So I prepared a side dish of fried hamo with ume plum paste and shiso leaves 😀. It's supposed to be a winter sake, but I got a little ahead of the summer in Kansai 🤣. It is true that the Jun Dai Nishitsu had a pronounced acidity, but it was perfect for the entrée and was delicious 😇. The information on sake-no-wa is helpful even to the preparation in advance 😀.

Finally, the Spring Nigorinpik has been successfully completed, so today is the big unleashing of the accumulated clear sake 🤣. I've been storing it in my sake cellar at freezing temperatures, but I still have to open it as soon as possible or it will deteriorate 😅. So for the time being, I'm going to open up the most important sake for me, as I cherish it too much to open the bottle 😇. First up is my favorite shwashuwa sake, Sundo from Kumamoto Prefecture 😇. The fruity aroma, the shwashiness in the mouth, and the crisp acidity match each other and really sink in deliciously 😀. It's a pity that it runs out so fast thanks to its deliciousness, drinkability and low alcohol content of 13 degrees 🤣.

Spring Nigorinpic 80 With today's sake, we would like to finish the Spring Nigorinpic 🤣. We received 80 bottles of nigori sake this winter and spring, and we have quite a few bottles of clear sake left in the sake cellar, so we would like to open those in succession🤣. The last of the Spring Nigorinpik is this Pawn Michelle's 😇. Cotton Candy is 8% alcohol, 500ml, easy to drink and tasty, so it will be a quick kill 🤣. The Mino de Blanc we had yesterday was also a sake that reminded me of a white wine (especially a white wine with a strong acidity), but this Pawn Michel reminded me of a fruit wine😇. This sake was more like a fruit wine than a grain wine, but it was a delicious sake with a fruit-derived sweetness and acidity that was very refreshing 😀. It's been a while since I've heard Kaorin say that this is not sake😇.

Spring Nigorinpic 79 Today's sake was a junmai orikarami version of Mino, which is brewed by Tokoro Shuzo, the brewer of Fusashimaya, in cooperation with a special sake shop and shipped through a special sales channel😇. Mino is specially brewed with white malted rice and is said to be a sake with a white wine taste, but my impression is that it has a particularly strong acidity, even for a white wine 🤣. I could feel the rice flavor from the orikarami, but the acidity from the white malted rice was even more impressive 😅. It's really a nigori-style sake, but it has many different flavors 😀.

Spring Nigorinpic 78 Last year, I had the 1st and 2nd Urasato's light nigori at different times and was surprised by the toji's ability to make each one different and delicious 🤣. So this year, I decided to compare the 1st and 2nd Urasato's Usu-Nigori at the same time and kept the 1st one in my sake cellar waiting for the 2nd one to come out, but for some reason, the store where I usually buy Urasato's Usu-Nigori did not stock the 2nd one this year 😅. I finally missed the chance to drink it and have dragged it all the way here, but this time I'll just have the 1st 😅. It's still the same as last year, but it has the same firm sweet/easy taste and sharp finish 😇. But I'm sorry I couldn't drink the 2nd one this year because the 2nd one was more to my taste preference last year 🥲.

Spring Nigorinpik 77 From yesterday's Junsei brewed by Tomihisaiki, today we will have Tomihisaiki Junmai Nigori Sake for comparison 😀. The color of Junmai nigori sake is very different from other pure rice nigori sake 🤣. The taste also has a strong sweetness of the rice 😀. However, the Junsei Junmai Nigorizake is also very light in color, and the taste of the rice is very good...it's hard to say which one is better 😇

Spring Nigorinpic 76 When I visited Tomihisaiki last autumn, I applied for the Junsei Supporter program. Junsei is another brand of Tomihisaiki, which was started by Tomihisaiki with a focus on the sake brewing method. If you become a supporter, you can have 6 bottles of Junsei delivered to your home within a year. One of them was this Junmai Ginjo Oorigarami 😀. Of course I like regular ogorami because of the sweetness and umami of the rice, but this ogorami was my favorite because it had a mellower rice flavor than the other ogorami, as if it was a sake brewed from a sake yeast 😀. We also have nigori sake from Tomikunishiki, so tomorrow we will compare the nigori sake from Tomikunishiki🤣.

Spring Nigorinpic 75 It seemed like a long time, but today is the end of the Golden Week holidays 🤣. The last sake is from the hanpukai of Kadoya Sake Shop😇. I joined a new hanpukai for Nagano sake from April, so I'm taking a break from this hanpukai for a while 😅. This sake is also a special hanpukai sake and is a junmai ginjo orikarami sake brewed by Naraman in Aizan😇. It was a delicious sake with a sweet and robust flavor that is typical of Aizan 😀. I compared the sake with the top clearings at room temperature and was surprised at how delicious they all were 😇.

Third day of Golden Week holidays Yesterday's mountain climbing was very hard on my body, and today, Kaorin and I have sore muscles in our legs from this morning🤣. I guess you can't win against age 🤣. So today we took our usual walking course to the old Expo Park 😀. Today at the Expo Park, they are holding a food and beer festival with local specialties from all over Japan 😇. So today we got our food and beer locally 😀. But I made sure to bring my own sake 😇. Today's accompaniment was a visit to a local liquor store where Kabishin was having a tasting event 😀. This liquor store regularly holds tasting events for Jamishin 😀. It seems I happened to be at the second tasting in a row, following the last one, so they remembered me and gave me this as a freebie 😇. I usually buy only Junmai type, so this was my first time to try Kabishin's Asoe and they did a good job of adjusting the taste 😇. I think it is a very reasonable sake since they gave it to me as an omake, but if so, it is a very cosy sake 😀.

Second day of Golden Week holidays Today I went for my first hiking trip in a while and went to Arashiyama in Kyoto 😀. Our destination was Atagoyama Shrine, located at the top of Mt. Atago, the famous fire god of Kyoto 😇. Today's accompaniment is a cup of sake from Omine 🤣. It has been sitting in our sake cellar for a whopping 10 months since last July 🤣. The distance we walked was 11km, but even though it was a low mountain, the difference in elevation was 1000m, so I was pretty exhausted after a long time of walking up the mountain 😅. After reaching the top, this cup of sake from Ohmine-san was sinking in my tired body 😀. I think the taste of sake sunk into my body even more than usual 😇.

Spring Nigorinpic 74 This Golden Week, I worked on the calendar plus Saturdays, so the four days from today are my real consecutive holidays. On the first day of the holiday... I didn't have anything to do, so I walked with Kaorin to the former Expo site in Suita with my lunch and sake as usual. 🚶‍♀️ Today's accompaniment was Momoten from my hometown of Shimonoseki City, Yamaguchi Prefecture. This is the third consecutive season for Momoten-san 😀. The year before last it was the old Toji and last year it was the new Momoten, and this Momoten seems to get better and better every year😇. Of all the sakes made by Amami, I like this Momoten the best 😀.

Spring Nigorinpic 73 Today we will have a Junmai Daiginjyo Nama Ooragarami from Yamawasei to compare with yesterday's Hakurakusei Ooragarami😇. As you know, Yamawaboshi is brewed jointly by Yamawa and Hakurakusei in Miyagi Prefecture, and this year, the brewery is responsible for the brewing of the Hakurakusei's Shinzawa Brewery 😀. The special feature is that the hi-ire is a clear sake and the nama is ogorami 🤣. Of course, being a nigori maniac, I chose the raw ogara-mi 😀. The aroma and taste are similar to Hakurakusei's, but the taste of Yamawasei's is clearer😇. I can also feel the tingling and fizzy sensation on my tongue that I didn't feel so much with Hakurakusei 😀. I prefer the taste of Yamawasei, but Kaorin prefers Hakurakusei's taste 😇.

This year, the brewer responsible for Yamawaboshi is Shinzawa Brewery, which brews Hakurakusei, so I thought it would be fun to compare the two 😀. Today, we started with the Hakurakusei Ooragarami 😀. Spring Nigorinpik 71 I've been wanting to drink a strong schwashy sake for a while now, but I haven't been able to find one, so I opened a bottle of this one for sure 😇 It's a two hare, but one hare 🐇 is a gorilla 🦍🤣. And he even has a big bomb💣 so there is no doubt about it😇 I took the bottle out of the freezing cellar and opened and closed it repeatedly for about 5 minutes without it blowing out 🤣. Of course, during the process of opening the bottle, it started stirring automatically on its own, so my expectations are high 😇. Today I poured it into a sparkling glass, but even so, the fruity aroma is rising with fine bubbles😇. This is it, this is it... a strong fizzy sensation that I haven't encountered in a while 😀. The taste is fruity, but the acidity from the carbonation keeps it nicely tight and I really like it 😇. I was interested in this last year but had to give up due to a refrigerator problem, but I'm glad I was able to buy it this year😇.

Spring Nigorinpik 70 I chose this sake because I wanted to drink a sparkling nigori to have a light, sharp, and carbonated feeling😇. I opened a bottle of Nozomu's Splash because it sounded like a splash, but unfortunately I didn't feel that sparkling 🤣. I prepared a splash of nigori for revenge, but after reading everyone's post, I decided to open a bottle of this active nigori Nozomu before opening a bottle of nigori splash because I didn't feel the sparkling sensation as much as I did with the nigori 🤣. It was a delicious sake with a nice tongue feel and a sense of frothiness, but unfortunately I didn't feel the same sense of frothiness as the active one🤣. I had high expectations for this sake because of the perforated cap, but... it is a delicious sake if you don't want a strong schwash feeling, but I was a little disappointed 🤣. I was a little disappointed 🤣 I agreed with myself that the concept of Nozomu was probably not intended to have a great sizzling sensation 😇.

Today, Kaorin and I went to Lalaport near Suita Expo Park to see the Conan movie 😀. It was the first time for me to see Conan in 4DX, and I was so excited to see Conan in 4DX even in the anime 😀. With that excitement, we had a little late lunch at the Expo Park 😀. Today's sake is also from Nagano Prefecture, where Conan is set, and is a light nigori sake. I visited the brewer, Kutsumigake Shuzo, during my recent trip to Ueda, Nagano, but they only sell Fukumugari brand sake, so I bought this sake at Miyajima Sake Shop in Ueda. In case you are wondering, we will be receiving 3 bottles each of Nagano sake from Miyajima Sake Shop for the next 8 months starting in April, so the ratio of Nagano sake is going to increase even more 🤣. Spring Nigorinpik 69 Yesterday's Honkin-san was quite fruity, but today's Mutou-san was even fruity 😀. But the sharpness of the acidity was so beautiful that we could enjoy it without being picky at all 😇. Nagano sake and Nagano sake rice are both high quality and delicious 😇
