Today is April 1 and I'm not faking it🤣. We have successfully reached 600 check-ins😇. Thanks to all of you... thank you 🙇. I joined Sakenowa in September of the year before last and it is thanks to all of you that I have made it to 600 mainly by drinking at home 🙏. I thought about what to drink when I got to 600 on Saturday and decided to drink my current boom 🐢, but after thinking about whether to go with fire-roasted Rokkaku or Gin 🐢, I decided on raw Tanada 😇. The taste is unquestionable, fresh and fruity, like a raw sake... all I can say is delicious 🤣. I always cherish my 🐢sake too much and miss the timing to drink it raw, but this time I'm glad I opened the bottle on the last day 😇. The timing of this sake was perfect for my recent trip to Ueda, and since I had to go pick up the Kamerei that I won at another liquor store, Kaorin went separately first thing in the morning and was able to get it first thing 🤣. I compared the sake cups I bought as part of the set with the Nosaku one and found that the set had a rounder taste and the Nosaku one had a clearer taste, both of which were delicious😇. It was a delicious Kiri number with the memories of the trip 🙆🙆.

Yacchan 600 check-in! You've arrived! I have a special place in my heart for this Kamerei sake, as I stood in line from 7:00 a.m. to get it, and it was fun chatting with the people around me as we stood in line until it opened at 9:00 a.m. It was a great memory. It tasted fruity and very delicious 😊.

Today is the day of the Shiga warehouse opening😇. However, I gave up participating because my cellar is full and I have a purchase ban and I can't resist buying when I go to the brewery opening 🤣. So today, I'm going on a Kyoto Sagano Walking tour of temples and shrines: 🚶‍♀️ From Daikakuji Temple and Osawaike Pond to Matsuo Taisha Shrine 😀. On the way, we had our lunch with drinks on the banks of Katsura River while looking at Watatsuki Bridge😇. Today's accompaniment was Junmai Daiginjo Yamada Nishiki by Hanamura 😇. I'm a big fan of Hanamup's sake, and I choose Hanamup every time I check in to 400 check-ins 😀. This time we walked a bit early to see the cherry blossoms, so it was an early appearance with a check-in of 599 🤣. 600 check-in will be going with that thing🙆. By the way, I came back today with 10 km, a shorter distance than usual 🚶‍♀️

Today's sake is Sanada Saemon-sa Nobushige😇 This is the official name of Yukimura Sanada 😇 We got this sake on a recent trip to Ueda to visit sake breweries 😀. There are 6 breweries in Ueda City, Nagano Prefecture, but Yamazan and Shinshu Meizou don't have direct sales outlets, so I visited the other 4 breweries and did a lot of research before the trip to see where I could buy the sake from Shinshu Meizou that I didn't go to 😅. So I picked up this sake. This sake is brewed in collaboration with Kitamura-san, a souvenir shop in front of Ueda station, and Shinshu Meibrewery, and is drawn from a tank in Kitamura-san's store 😀. There are several kinds of bottles in the store and you can choose one and have it poured from the tank 😀. Since we were there, we chose a red bottle to match the red color of Sanada 😇. A red bottle of sake is a bit rare 🤣. Naturally, it was my first time to try this sake and it tasted quite strange😅. It didn't have much of an aroma and seemed quite dry in the mouth at first, but it was a very mildly spicy sake that expanded in the mouth without being harsh 😇. Today's meal was an assortment of sashimi, and it was a perfect match for the dry sake🙆🙆.

Good evening, Yasube-san🌛It's amazing that you have a tank of it in your souvenir shop: ✨️ The choice of red when it comes to Sanada is also very impressive 🍶 dry, umami-bearing sake 🤔I'm a little curious 🤤.

Recently, we have had a series of Mie sake, so we opened a bottle of this Jikin to round out our Mie sake lineup😇. I've had this one many times and it's still delicious and well balanced, and the Aiyama rice is one of my favorite rice varieties, so how could it not be delicious? The Saku that we opened yesterday is also very tasty and I think it is more fruity than Jikin, which is our favorite, but I still prefer Jikin because of its good balance and umami 🤣. However, I'd like to drink some of Jikin's fresh sake during the season, since they've only been making hi-iru recently 😀.

Good evening, Yasube-san 🌛Oh, isn't that ✨️ Jikin-sama 😳It's a good way to end the Mie Sake season 🍶I think that's why Jikin-sama is so well balanced while showing the characteristics of any sake rice 🤤Nama-sake🤤.

I've posted a series of sakes from the sake brewery I got on my Mie Sake Trip in February, but today I opened a bottle of the sake I got on this trip to Ise, even though I didn't visit the brewery 😀. Before I went on my trip to Ise, I saw this sake posted by bouken and wanted to try it, so I went to OHARAI Yokocho in Ise and found it 😇. The aroma and taste are fruity and delicious 😀. I think this one might be my favorite sake among all the Sakusaku I've had so far 😀. I think I may have felt it even more so because most of the Mie sakes I've been drinking recently are rather heavy, but it was worth the search and purchase😇.

The sixth sake in the series that I got at a sake brewery was this one by Ishikawa Shuzo, which I also got on a sake brewery tour in Mie 😀. Ishikawa Shuzo-san is right next door to Ito Shuzo-san, the brewer of the previously mentioned Hatsume-san. As soon as we passed through the big gate and were about to enter the brewery, a big guard dog barked at us and we had to run away 😅. While I was going around the big premises of the brewery and wondering what to do with Karin, the goddess of salvation drove up to us 😇. I explained the situation to her and she offered to go with us 🤣 We slipped past the scary dog and arrived safely at the Ishikawa Sake Brewery office. It seems that this goddess is from the tourism department of Mie Prefecture and was working with the sake brewery to promote Mie's sake 😀. Thanks to her, I was able to get this sake safely 😇. The moment I put it in my mouth, it had a very clear and beautiful impression and the aroma was very straightforward, but the moment it went down my throat, a strong taste spread out 😀. This is a delicious food sake 😇 It is a delicious food sake 😇 It left us with the impression that it is a sake that can support any meal, even for children 😀.

This is the 5th sake in a row that I got at the brewery 😇 This is Den-san from Ogawa Honke, which I visited last month on my Mie Prefecture Sake Brewery Tour 😀 I had never heard of Ogawa Honke before. I had never heard of Ogawa Honke before, but the brewery was located in the suburbs of Tsu 🤣. When I entered the office, I found the father sitting alone ❓😅😅I wondered if it was really the brewer's office. When I spoke to him, he was quite talkative and told me a lot of stories about the sake here 😀. He told us that he only makes dry sake because he himself likes dry sake, and that some of his old customers in the neighborhood say that the sake is getting spicier and spicier... Kaorin and I were getting a little nervous, but on the other hand, we were also intrigued by the story. I bought two bottles, one of this and one of nigori. I haven't written anything about the taste, but it was exactly as my father said it would be and we were 10 years too young for it ❓🤣. The other bottle of nigori was also said to be a very hard sake, so we will drink it later 😅.

I've been going to Expo Park and Hattori Ryokuchi Park lately, so it was refreshing to go to Osaka Castle Park after a long time 😀. However, my work place is next to Osaka Castle, so it was not so fresh 🤣. The plum blossoms at Osaka Castle were almost finished, but the peach blossoms were just starting to bloom, so today we had lunch and drinks at the Osaka Castle Peach Garden 😇. Today we had another sake that we got at the brewery for the fourth time in a row, a limited edition brewery sake Shiboritate that we bought at Ozeki's brewery last year 😀. It was quite dry and robust 🤣. Of course, it has the gorgeousness that is typical of nama-shu, but the doshuri feeling was quite heavy for our family 😀. However, it went well with the miso sauce on today's filet mignonette and was wonderfully balanced 😇.

For the third day in a row, I bought sake from the brewery 😀. This is Mie-no-Kanbai from Maruhiko Sake Brewery, which we visited on our recent trip to Mie 😀. The day before this trip, we had our first taste of Mie-no-Kanbai at a Mie Sake drinking contest held at the hotel where we stayed 😅. When we visited the brewery, the toji (master brewer) was there and we asked him for a sweet and fruity sake that we like and he recommended this one, Daikan Shiborisake 😀. As soon as we opened the bottle, we were surprised to find that the aroma was more floral than fruity: ‼️🤣. The slightly sour and floral aroma reminded me of plums in full bloom, just like Mie Kanbai 😀. The taste in the mouth was not as floral as the aroma, but the elegant umami flavor took precedence and disappeared elegantly 😀. As I said, Mie's sake is of a high level 😇.

Sanyo Bai Sake Brewery sold Banshu Ikkyo for the whole country, Sennen no Wisteria, which is a local limited edition sake, and Kaede no Shizuku, which is a local limited edition sake. I'm back home from my bullet tour of Nagano, and today I'm back to work as usual 😀. However, I am still in Nagano sake mode 😀. So here is a comparison of different sake rice from Shinshu 🐢 which is a big luxury for me 😇. First of all, I will be drinking this Miyamanishiki to compare with Kuheiji's light nigori and 🐢san's Hitogokochi, which I had opened before going to Ueda 😀. I'm too happy to compare Nagano sake rice 😇! First of all, the taste of Kuheiji-san, which has been open for quite some time, has changed a lot as I expected, from its youthful freshness when the bottle was first opened to a much more subdued taste 🤣. In comparison, Shinshu Kamerei's Hitogokochi, on the other hand, remained almost the same with a fresh aroma and an easy-to-drink balance of sweetness and acidity 😀. Miyamanishiki, which was opened today, had a stronger sweetness and umami flavor 😀. Although Miyamanishiki is from Nagano, it is a very commonly used sake rice, but I can only say that Shinshu Kamerei is a master at creating a completely different nuance with Hitogokochi than other sake 😇.

Kaorin lined up at Okazaki Sake Brewery to get 🐢san's brewery limited edition sake that starts at 9am, and I went separately to pick up the sake shop limited edition 🐢san that I won in a drawing at Miyajima Sake Shop 😀. I had the impression that Nishinomon had a delicious ogara-mi in January, but when I asked the store owner about it, he told me that that sake is only for special distributors and is not sold at the brewery's directly-managed stores 🤣. 29th brewery on a walking tour of temples, shrines, and sake breweries Speaking of Ueda, Shinshu Kamerei is the best sake brewery in Ueda 😀. It is about 4 km away from Wadaryu, but the weather was nice and it was a nice walk 🚶. It's fun to walk around in a completely new and unfamiliar place 😀. When I asked the store owner, he told me that Mutou is a brand for distributors and the brewery only carries Fukumuryo 🤣‼️ I compared 4 types of Junmai Daiginjo, 2 types of Junmai Ginjo and Junmai, and I could tell that the other 3 tasted the same, but the Junmai Daiginjo tasted completely different and clear 😇. 27th brewery on a walking tour of temples, shrines and sake breweries After purchasing a limited edition sake at Okazaki Shuzo, we visited Wadaryu next 😀. This was naturally my first visit to this brewery as they do not distribute their sake in the Kansai region at all 🤣. Unfortunately, they didn't have the Tosui I was looking for, so I bought their standard Junmai 😀. The brewery owner was very talkative and was very sorry that we had to come all the way from Osaka to drink his sake 😅. From there, the brewery owner's Ueda guide talk exploded 🤣. When I told him that I had Shinshu soba for lunch, he recommended a number of soba restaurants, but we went to one recommended by Mr. Kuramoto, where we could drink sake during the daytime 😀. The soba and grilled miso were all delicious, but the junmai sake from Wadaryu was a great match for the Shinshu flavors😇. The sake tasted and smelled so good that I thought it tasted like junmai ginjo instead of junmai sake 😀. Unlike usual, the tasting and purchase were reversed, but I was happy to be able to bring home some sake from Ueda😇.

26th brewery tour of temples, shrines and sake breweries on foot We arrived safely in Ueda a little after 6:00 this morning 😀. We started our trip by first paying a visit to the Kitamukai Kannon-sama 😀. The first brewery we visited was Wakabayashi Brewery, located between Kitamukai-sama and Ueda 😀. My preliminary research said they open at 9am, but we arrived at 8:30am 🤣. We waited in the cold until 9:00 to enter the store, and when we entered the store, they were looking at us from inside to see what we were doing when the store was already open 😅. But they offered us a free paid tasting because we waited in the cold 😇. After all, it's a very rare occurrence as Pon-chan told us 🤣. The tasting was of Tokujun and Dry Junmai brewed with Hitogokochi, and I was surprised to see the completely different expression of the same rice. ‼️ We decided to take home the Tokujun because we like sweet and tasty sake, but the Dry Junmai was also a delicious sake with a delicious umami taste and a crisp, dry finish 😇.
