Summer Nigorinpik 93 We opened a bottle of 寫楽's Summer Gin Usu Nigori 😀. This sake was pressed for the summer, bottled after one heat treatment, and then stored before shipping 😇. The first aroma was melon, but the nuance was a bit quiet and subdued 😀. In the mouth, it has a refreshing acidity as if it was made with summer sake in mind, but it also has the delicious nigori taste of rice 😇. The aftertaste was also clean and crisp, making it a delicious sake that can easily be paired with any dish😇. We paired it with sashimi.

Good evening, Yasubeyesan 🌛I'm jealous that I haven't been able to take you to 寫楽さん recently because the timing hasn't been right at all 🤤I drank it last year, but I heard it is mainly delicious and the acidity is very refreshing 🤣I want to drink it after a long time 🤤.

Summer Nigorinpic 92 I enjoyed it last year, but I didn't know where I had bought it. It was a very easy-drinking sake with a low alcohol content of 13% and a strong Junmai flavor, and it was also very fruity and had a firm chirichiri-feeling characteristic of active nigori...all the keywords that we love in our house! If I see it again, I will definitely buy it again😇.

Summer Nigorinpik 91 In April, I had the light nigori of Mio, a junmai ginjo from the same company, and today I will have the active nigori version 😀. The top aroma of the light nigori was a little more gorgeous than the light nigori 🤣. Both are fruity and delicious, but the active nigori is naturally more fruity and has a more robust fruitiness with a hint of sourness. Both are delicious, but I think I prefer the active nigori more 🤣. I would like to compare the two next year if I have a chance 😇

Summer Nigorinpic 90 After a long hiatus due to the National Sake Fair and other events, we are finally back for the Summer Nigorinpic 🤣! The resurrected sake is Jun Dai Usu Nigori by Yamazou 😀. I was looking at everyone's comments and as a nigorist, I really wanted to try this sake 😅. I knew that there was finally a store in Osaka that carried Yamazan's sake since the beginning of this year, but as I always walk to buy sake, I was hesitant because of the inconvenient location, but my desire to drink it outweighed my need to buy it 🤣. It has a moderate sweet and sour taste and is full of fruity sensations😇. I think I will be visiting this store more often in search of Yamazan from now on😇.

Not Anpanman, but Kido Man comes to visit 😀. Today we went to Kido Heiwa Sake Brewery in Kainan City, Wakayama to plant rice for the second time after last year's rice planting and harvesting😇. It seems that the number of participants is increasing every year 😀. We were looking forward to drinking sake from the Agara rice field where we planted and harvested rice by ourselves last year, but unfortunately we could not drink the harvested rice from last fall because it will be sold as a product this fall 🤣. However, we were able to enjoy all the Kido sake we could drink at the barbecue after rice planting this year as well 😇. However, it was quite hot today, so we probably drank more peace craft beer than sake 🤣. I'm looking forward to the next rice harvest in the fall 😇.

National Sake Fair 2025 Osaka ⑥ It was almost the end of the time and this was the last booth 🤣. There were many more prefectures I wanted to visit, but I chose Tochigi prefecture here in honor of JN who is full of Tochigi ❤️😇 I've seen a lot of comments about Tochigi before, but I've never seen it before 😀. I'll have it for the first time😇 I've never had the standard sake so I can't compare the taste, but this was a delicious sake with a refreshing acidity, just like a summer sake😇. It's just my imagination, but I have the impression that there are many sake from Tochigi that have a bright acidity, like Senkou-san does 😀. I even had a bald father here 🤣. This was the end of our tour of the fair 😀. We finished up at Kinjaku in Yamaguchi prefecture and headed home 😀. Thank you so much, I really appreciate your company this time 🙇. I hope we can work together again somewhere 😇

Kokusyu Sake Fair 2025 Osaka 5 After the Kagawa booth, we visited the Mie, Gifu, Nagoya, and Shizuoka booths. Kaorin and I were drinking without using a spitting cup at all, so we were getting quite drunk and enjoying drinking rather than tasting 🤣. Now we have landed in Fukui Prefecture in the Hokuriku region 😇. What was particularly interesting at the Fukui Prefecture booth was the overwhelming number of sake made with Sakahomare rice 😀. Among them, Bon and Fukuchitoshi, two breweries I have not had yet, had an overwhelming presence 😇. There was no mundane taste at all, only the umami flavor stood out 😇. I hope to visit Fukui Prefecture someday, as it is one of the places I can still visit 😇.

National Sake Fair 2025 Osaka ④ I visited the Kagawa Prefecture booth because I had only ever had sake from Kagawa Prefecture, Sanuki Kuraudai 😀. The Kagawa booth has a great selection of sakes made with olive yeast 😀. I don't know if it was the olive yeast or not, but all the sakes were delicious with a fruity sourness, but I especially liked this one because it had the most beautiful sourness😇. National Sake Fair 2025 Osaka ③. Next we visited the Kumamoto Prefecture booth 😀. I was disappointed that I could not meet him 🤣 although I was able to drink with him for the first time in a long time. I was also able to meet the president who was in charge of the event, but I could not meet him. I often drink Sundo, but this was my first time to try Hana-no-Kaosan 😀. The orthodox Sakurabana did not have the fizziness characteristic of San-do, but this OUKA was a seasonal draft sake with a delicious taste similar to San-do 😀. It had a high aroma, a fruity flavor, a sharp and delicate taste, and a slight sparkling sensation 😀. It's a pity that Sundo is available at the liquor store I go to, but Hana-no-Ka is not 😅.

I'm in the middle of a Kunisake Fair report... I completely forgot about the June 6 Shinmasa day and missed it, so I'm going to follow Pon-chan's example and open a bottle of Shinmasa at the 666 check-in😇. I had two left in the cellar, Ash and Ecru, so I was a little pondering which one to open 🤣. I heard that Ash-san tastes better when it's laid to rest, so I'm going to give Ash-san a rest for a bit longer 🤣. Compared to the Colors we've had so far, Ecru's unique acidity was impressive😇. Thankfully this time we were able to compare it with Jikin-san's Omachi draft, but when I asked Kaorin which she liked better, she pointed to her glass of Ecru 🤣. I am in awe of Jikin and Shinsei, I can't compare them, I like them both ❤️

Kokuni-shu Fair 2025 Osaka (2) Since all prefectures except Kagoshima and Okinawa are exhibiting at the Kokusyu Sake Fair, our strategy beforehand was to try to get sakes from prefectures we would not normally be able to drink 😀. However, the first booth we visited was in Yamaguchi Prefecture, and the one facing us was in Nagano Prefecture 🤣. When I saw Nagano sake, which I love, there was no way I could not visit 🤣. However, since I was there, I decided to stop drinking the sake that I usually get, and went for a sake that I don't usually drink...or can't afford...and this Junmai Daiginjo from Masumi caught my eye 😀. I usually can't afford a sake of this price 😅. I felt a little bit of Yamahai-like nuance in the top nose, but the overall impression was of a clean, easy-drinking sake that went down smoothly😇. I've only had Masumi sparkling nigori so far, so I had a good impression of my first clear sake😇. I also enjoyed Comet and Shinshu Maihime, which I hadn't had yet😇. The new Maihime in particular was described as dry, which is not the type of sake we would normally drink, but the first attack was a big thump, followed by a sweet fruity taste that we would fully enjoy at home 😇.

I was overwhelmed by the size and scale of the venue, but I was able to meet up with Eiji-san from Sake-no-wa and we had a great time 😇. At the booth I visited with Mr. Iji, the brewer asked me if I was with my family ❓... I wonder if Mr. Iji's grandparents saw us 🤣. First of all, I headed straight for the Yamaguchi Prefecture booth, my hometown 😀. I looked at the list of participating sake and toasted Kaorin with a Junmai Daiginjo from Kinjaku, which I had been looking forward to since the day before 🍶. Kinjaku is still delicious... a crisp, robust fruit with a sweet umami flavor that finishes off nicely 😇. In the end, we stayed for 3 hours yesterday, and the first and closing toast were both by Kinjaku 😇. Summer Nigorinpik 87 I recently opened a bottle of this new sake from Koueikiku, which I was very curious about after reading many comments on Sake no Wawa😇. As you commented, I chilled it properly and quietly turned the plastic part around the stopper gently, but at that moment the stopper blew out and I was surprised 🤣‼️ I was even more surprised when the cork blew out and the top clear liquid was safely removed. ‼️🤣 The top nose was quite mature, but in the mouth it was delicious with a strong piquancy and quiet fruity sensation. Hi Nao888 😀 Sake that is refreshing and easy to drink in the summer is really nice and tasty 😇. I'm thankful that there are so many stores that are strong in Saga sake, such as Kadoya-san's Koei-Kiku, Sake Kozo's Nabeshima, Miyanomatsu, Kibotsukuru, etc. 😇.

Hi Jay & Nobby 😀 It's a strange drink that the auto-stirring doesn't occur even though the cork flew out so spectacularly 🤣. I'm sure you two will like it because of the acidity from the carbonation, so please discover it😇.

Hi Yasubeyesan 🐦. I can't get enough of Kouei Kiku 💦My bottle opener also jumped even though I had Kouei Kiku under control 😂. I can't keep up with all the new ones coming out, but I'd love to have a summer nigori 🎐.

Good evening, Pon 😀 I was a bit surprised by this summer's Koeihiku 🤣. I always find Koei-Kiku to be a bit sour, but this sake has a strong summer sake character 😀. This sake is a must try 😀.

Summer Nigorinpik 86 Continuing from yesterday, we had summer nigori, Hatada ⭐️ squash against the Ramune label 😀. Actually, this sake is from a brewery we visited last year on a tour organized by Kyukura on the day of the Shiga brewery opening, but we couldn't bring it home due to the limited number of bottles 😀. The sake is made by second fermentation in the bottle from re-fermented mash that is squeezed in a wooden vat🤣. It tasted like... an adult banana squash 😇. Yesterday's Ramune Label was a transparent sake, but this one was a fruity squash with a sweet and sour banana taste... delicious 😇.

Good evening, Pon-chan 😀 Unfortunately I couldn't make it this year, but I also enjoyed last year's sake brewery festival in Shiga😇. I wonder if they had this sake at this year's sake brewery festival ❓🤣.

Summer Nigorinpik 85 Finally, we were able to have our first summer sake nigori at the Summer Nigorinpik. It's a summer nigori with a ramune label, made by this season's key sake maker, Murasakyuu 😀. I chilled it perfectly and opened the bottle slowly 😀. I thought the bottle was safely opened... but a few seconds later, there was a thud and then a blowout from the automatic stirring 🤣. Well, I could have guessed that from the amount of oli that had accumulated at the bottom of this bottle. I let my guard down😅. The blowout was minimal and saved my life, but you can never be too careful😅. The taste was a bit different from the usual Purple Space's, but the light sweetness and beautiful carbonation reminded me of a soda Ramune 😇. In case you missed it, we went out for lunch today to celebrate with Kaorin's dad who lives upstairs with a gift and sushi 🤣❓❓ As I'm sure you all know, Kaorin got Father's Day wrong for a week😅. I was buying gifts as Kaorin made me 🤣.

Good evening, Yasbaye 😃I love Kaorin's inadvertent dust episode 🤣💕 but even if it was a week off, it was still something she did for herself, so I'm sure her dad was happy too 😊.

Good evening, Yasbaye 🌛The ramune label evokes faint memories of my boyhood 🍶I'm also curious about the vigor with which the nigori expert spills it ✨Kaorin's gratitude to his father was too strong to bring it forward 🥰.

Good evening, Nao888 😀. That time lag is unfair 🤣. As soon as I opened the bottle safely and was about to pour it into a glass 😅. It was a bit different from your usual purple space, it felt like a summer ramune 🤣.

Summer Nigorinpik 84 The first bottle of Tasake's light nigori that we opened earlier was laid down to be aged for a while, but the bottle of Mutsu Hachisen that we opened today was obtained at the same time as Tasake's and ended up being aged for a while as well as Tasake's 😀 As usual, we tasted them including the supernatant that we put back at room temperature. As usual, I tasted the sake mixed with the supernatant that had been brought to room temperature, and I was able to taste the fruity aroma that reminded me of white peaches, and the peach flavor that seemed to be pulled along with it 😇. I don't know if this was due to the petit aging process or the ability of Mutsu Hachisen's orikarami, but it was very tasty😇.

Winter Nigorinpik 83 Today's sake is also from the Winter Nigorinpik, a light nigori sake from Tasake. Actually, this sake has been aged at freezing point in our sake cellar for 6 months since I heard in a post by Sake-no-Wawa that new sake is a little bit cloudy 🤣. I don't know what it tasted like at first, but the taste I got today after a little aging was very refreshing and the fruity acidity was very pronounced. I don't know what it would have tasted like if I drank it right away, but after the petit-aging process, the acidic fruitiness was present and made it a very tasty sake😇.

Good evening, Yasubeyesan 🌛I drank this one in February and it was reviewed as having a good balance of sweet, tasty and sour ✨I think my rating is all over the place since it was the first time I picked up a bottle of Tasake in a 4-gouple 🤣I like the petit aging 🍶.

Hello, Matsuchiyo-san 😀 I usually don't get to the point where I can age it on my own, but this is the first time I've aged it while resisting the urge to drink it 🤣. But if you want to age it consciously, you have to buy two bottles to know 🤣.

Summer Nigorinpic 81 The Nama-shu Dai-open series has ended with Jigin-sama's Jungin Omachi Nama-shu, and today we are resuming the Nigorinpik 😀 We say summer, but there are many left over from the winter and spring Nigorinpiks 🤣. Currently we have 14 bottles of nigori sake in stock, but we are still planning to collect summer nigori sake little by little, so I think we will be able to record our 100th bottle of nigori sake this season when the summer nigorinpic is over ❓🤣. So the 80th bottle of nigori this season is my favorite Nagano sake, Gokotsuru's active nigori nama sake😇. It has been sitting in our cellar since winter, but it is delicious and has a nice, robust, active flavor 😇. The aroma and taste are very gorgeous among nigori sake 😀. All of them were delicious, including the supernatant that was brought to room temperature and the one that was mixed 😇.
