It is 3 years old, but the gas pressure is quite strong. After a few minutes, the bottle was finally opened.
It has a bubbly feeling like champagne and a slight rice taste without much aroma. If you say it is olive, well, I guess it is. When you drink it, it has a white wine-like grape-like mildness and some alcohol, and it pulls up with a good flavor and sharpness.
It has a beautiful appearance that you wouldn't know if you weren't told it had been aged for a while, but for this type of wine, it has a strong sense of rice. It is a modern light but normal sake with rice flavor.
Kawazuru is made from Oceto, a rice suitable for sake brewing produced in Kagawa Prefecture. The aroma seems subdued. It seems to have a refreshing aroma with a hint of sourness. The sweetness and umami are well expressed but very elegant, kind of like a Japanese pear with little sweetness.
This may sound strange, but is this the kind of sake you would want to drink after drinking sake?
Tonight, this will be another long time since I've been to the brewery: 💁♂️
Kawatsuru Olive Active Nigori Nama Sake 2024BY🫒🫧.
It's the season for muddy nipples, and since Sanuki Kuraudai is quite sweet, I decided to try this one 🫧.
There was a bottle opening explosion💥 around the neck, but it opened without a hitch. ☺️ The top clearings were also removed cleanly, so when I poured it into the sake cup, many bubbles were rising🫧🫧🫧🫧 The color is clear with a very light whitish cloudiness. The aroma is lactic and olive, but the sweet and sour taste of Japanese pear is more memorable. When you put it in your mouth, you can feel the gas bursting on your tongue, and the finish is crisp and very delicious 😋😋😋.
When mixed with lees, you can taste more olive 🫒ness and bitterness, which is also good 👍.
I walked around and finally got the NORA I wanted to drink and see: ✌️
I heard that there are two types of this mizu-hashiroku second fermentation in bottle, one made from raw rice and the other from koji, so I would have liked to buy two types and compare them.
I would have liked to buy two types to compare them, but after visiting several stores, I finally found only this pink label made from raw rice.
Is it inevitable that the pink one, which my uncle is not comfortable with, is the only one left? I'm not sure.
I wanted to drink the gray label, too!
It was covered with a label warning me to open the bottle, so I was careful... but I peed a little, but it was naughty and gassy.
It was a bit gassy, and the sweet aroma came through, probably because I blew on it a bit.
When I drank it, the first thing I felt was the gasiness! The schwarziness rushes in.
The sweetness is very mild and gentle, probably due to the fact that it is made from the yeast.
The acidity is not unpleasant, and the aftertaste is refreshing.
The pink color seems to be pulling at the sake, but even women who are not good at sake can drink it easily.
I may recommend it to someone who is looking for a sake to bring to a girls' night out soon.
I regret that I couldn't drink the other one because it was so delicious... 😩.
☆☆☆☆☆
A little sour and delicious.
I don't remember Kawatsuru like this, but I'm craving some Kochi sake!
No, Kawatsuru is good.
But Kagawa is good, too, but Kochi...
Next, sake from Kagawa.
Kawazuru.
I choose it because of its label design.
Oh, it is indeed a honjozo.
It's not a brand I would normally choose, but since the system allows small quantities and you pour it yourself, I matched it with tuna chutoro (medium fatty tuna).
There were quite a few customers and the place was bustling with activity.
Fun to be able to choose from a variety of brands. 😁
I enjoyed the last Sanuki Yomai so much that I tried Yamadanishiki as well😊.
With a sweet taste similar to my favorite Manrei,
Easy to drink, you wouldn't believe it has 16% alcohol 🍶💕.
