It has a sweet aroma that is not fruity but has a full-bodied flavor. It is a bottle with a thick flavor, probably because it has been aged for more than a year from production to shipping. I had it with grilled yellowtail kama-yaki with ponzu (citrus juice), and it was a wonderful combination. Made from 100% Omachi grown in Okayama, 50% polished rice.

As I wrote a bit last time, the Kabutomushi🌈 flew away so quickly 🥲I wonder if it's too low in alcohol 🤔Let's check it out with another sake! And I continued with a 14° Mutsu Hachisen's Summer Ginjo in a hurry ‼️ It's a beautiful light blue bottle that is bright to the eye 🥹! How does it feel ♬♬? The aroma is sweet 😌. I'm sure you'll love it 😋😋😋😋😚. I was promised only one glass, but I said "Let's just check one more!" and Nobby said 😊"Let's just check one more!" and noobie 😊The second glass was also delicious but I'm not sure about the alu feeling 😆. The second day was also great and we killed the rest in a blink of an eye! And the accompaniment for this day was sushi 🍣 delivered as a gift from my daughter for "taking care of me", even though it was just an ordinary day. Is this a message to say hello again next time 😉? We enjoyed the sushi without thinking about it 🙂They even changed the ingredients to suit our tastes, thank you very much 😊. By the way, he will be moving from the US 🇺🇸 to Japan 🇯🇵 in mid-July and we will finally start living together 🤗. This summer is going to be a busy and lively one 😄.

We just drank 🥬Vegetable Label🍆 last Sunday... and now our refrigerator is out of sake: 😶‍🌫️ But you know, we are the kind of people who take a break from drinking on weekdays, and tea is our friend! We don't panic 😌 and our hands don't shake 🫨. Well, we had a few beers 🍺 and whiskeys 🥃 that we call "water" 😁. But we had to buy something for Friday night 😅, so Nobby bought the third bottle of summer sake we've been drinking for 3 years in a row ❗️ "Kabutomushi🌈", the hero of our town 🤗. Now I'll make love to you for the 4th year The aroma is 🍏citrusy🍋. I take a sip and soooo wow 😙 here it comes 😙! This acidity ‼️ and a hint of sweetness amongst the freshness 😊It's my favorite 14 degrees these days and it goes down smoothly.......................and before I hear the whisper of "It's sake 🤫" that Pepho-san said, "Did you pour it somewhere? I drank it all up so fast 😅. Hmmm? I'm not sure if the other ones feel like sake 🧐. I found the same 14 degree one so I gave it a try! I can feel it 🙂‍↕️ so I checked it out ✅I drank two cups, put the lid on and then changed to colored water 🥃🤭I started low but eventually I didn't drink enough🙄I guess I should use 15-16 degrees? It's this acidity 🥰 Tochigi love 🥰 of ‼️

This is my first Bodai yeast brewed sake. The mild acidity is very tasty, with a clean aftertaste that is not too lingering, which I like, and it is apple-like. The label says that the previous master brewer revived the Bodai Hashiro, but the Bodai Hashiro Kenkyukai website has a different story, which I will look into further. Bodai-Hashiro is said to be the oldest sake brewing method established in the Muromachi period (1336-1573) at Shoreki-ji Temple at the foot of Mt. It is characterized by soaking raw rice in water to propagate lactic acid bacteria and using the "soyashi water" as the brewing water for the sake brewer.

I helped my daughter move last weekend..........................................................well I was tired 😫 I left home early in the morning and the moving company finished bringing the items in the morning! Things went smoothly and I unpacked and set up my belongings at the new house...I didn't really do anything, but I was more tired than I thought I'd be 🥲 standing and sitting around. 😮‍💨 That night we went to an izakaya with a Showa-era atmosphere, which I had been curious about for a while! The smoke from the cigarettes in the air 🚬I was lost in the many items on the menu and they were busy asking me what I wanted to order 😥and every time I ordered another highball 😵‍💫 they wanted to get me drinking and eating quickly and increase the turnover 🤔I guess a little bit of a strong drink is a good deal 😉. A big thank you to my daughter for her hospitality today 🥹. I came home on Sunday evening to do something light and go to bed early today 🫠, so that's what was chosen! It's Mr. Oyama's 🍉🍅 Vegetable Label🌽🍆 which was raised by HinaHanaMama a while ago and we hadn't tasted yet 🤗It's not in the label picture 😆 I will have cauliflower and snap peas as a side ♬ The aroma is fresh 😌. I thought it was going to be sweet, but it turned out to be fruity 😙and then the bitterness peeked out with a "hello 😇" 🧐It was so smooth and easy to drink that I realized I had to kill it in an instant 😚.

My first Kameizumi, my first CEL-24! It really smells like pineapple and tastes like pineapple too. It is really sweet and delicious with a sake degree of -14. The yeast used is CEL-24, which was developed in 1993 at the Kochi Prefectural Industrial Technology Center. This yeast for ginjo-shu is rich in ethyl caproate, which is characterized by its apple and pineapple-like aroma.

This is my first time in Okayama 😄. I've only had Bodhi Hashiwado... I've only had Mimuro Sugi... I was very interested in it and was attracted by the label "Betsuatsurai" so I bought it. The complex flavors of Bodai Hashimoto enhance the deliciousness, and the umami, smoothness, and acidity of Bodai Hashimoto make it more fresh and fresh. The taste is a very smooth and fresh ginjo nama-shu with no sharp elements. The clear umami and fresh acidity go down the throat and disappear quickly and crisply. I'm a week late in posting 😅 Last Sunday was Kershaw's return to the pitching lineup for the Angels game 🏟️ starting at 10am, so I started walking after 8am! Walked for an hour as usual 💦 showered and sat down in front of the TV. Kershaw got a hit to lead off the game, but Pahez (sorry if you don't know 😅), who we've been pushing since last year, hit a HR to tie the game ⚾ and we were happy to see the game turn around 🙌 and we lost 😢 And Otani got no hits in 6 at bats 😔. I started early in the morning, but in the afternoon I was feeling a bit lazy 🫩I decided to go to Seven on foot to get dinner because it was too much trouble. But I'm going to walk to Seven's to get something for dinner! Yes, it's SENKYO 🤗. I drank the draft last November, and this is the first time I've had the fire-brewed classic 😄. Last time I was surprised by the bubbles, but this time not so much. It's also 13 degrees so it killed me instantly 😋and then I had a beer 🍺! By the way, my daughter moved 🚛 today. Nobby was separated from Jay since Wednesday to prepare for the move at his daughter's place, so Monday through Friday were automatically his rest days 🥲. I'm going to be busy helping with the move🚙 💦 I'll be there! Maybe 14 degrees is right! Love Tochigi 🥰!

Unexpectedly, Sentori ⛄️ continued to be available, so I visited Yodogawa Sake Shop for the first time in a while and bought a bottle of Sentori. I noticed that I haven't had any Aomori 🍶...and I noticed the "back" label 😁. When I poured it into the sake cup, it was light and refreshing. The color is clear, but has a slight yellowish tinge. The rice used is Aomori's "Hanasoui," a rice suitable for sake brewing. Polishing ratio is 50%. The alcohol content is 16%. Specifications: unfiltered, unpasteurized sake. When the bottle is opened, the aroma is gorgeous and mellow, with a hint of apple. The first sip reveals a smooth mouthfeel with a juicy flavor and fruity sweetness that spreads in the mouth. There is no cloying taste, and the taste is accentuated by the clear acidity that spreads along with the spreading sweetness. After the acidity quickly recedes, a gorgeous umami flavor lingers in the aftertaste. The taste does not make you aware of the 16% alcohol content, so you can easily drink more sake...but you will be drunk well. Mutsu Hachisen is delicious. This time it was a limited edition sake, but it made me want to try others.

This 375ml sparkling kijoshu is produced in April 2024 by the Watanabe Shuzo brewery located in the Hachimizo Mountains of Otawara City. This is the first time for Kyokko. This time, it is filled with naturally sparkling carbon dioxide gas generated during the brewing process. Perhaps it is my imagination, but I have been enjoying sparkling sake lately. The raw material rice is 100% Yume-Sarara. Polishing ratio is 50%. Alcohol content is a low 12%. Sake level is -76 (extremely sweet) Acidity is 4.2 It is sealed with a cork stopper like a wine. The bottle is effervescent, and I impatiently opened the cork. When I pulled up the cork, the cork stopper was pushed up with a popping sound, but I managed to open the bottle safely. When the bottle was opened, the aroma was sweet like white peaches. The sake has a pale yellow color and a thick, thick texture with fine bubbles bubbling up as it is poured into the sake cup with a shuffling sound. As you take a sip, an elegant sweetness spreads in the mouth, followed by a refreshing acidity that quickly drifts in and disappears. After the acidity, a full-bodied sweetness typical of kijo-zake lingers on the tongue. After pouring into the sake cup, the gaseous sensation quickly disappears with the passage of time, and instead a very rich sweetness stands out in a sweet 🍶 taste.

It's been a long time since I had a drink 🤔, I thought, and then I went to Mita for the first time this year ‼️ I had to pass up a few times because of the 2,000 yen barrier problem 😅I took him out because I haven't been able to drink Tochigi sake lately 🤗. The last one I drank last year was black Mita Ihyakumangoku and this time it's Mita Aikoku White Reserve Order 🤗. I'll make love to you! The aroma is slightly fruity 😌. The first sip is...well...it's a full-bodied sweet and bitter taste! It has a full-bodied, sweet and bitter taste 😋 but it's also quite bitter and astringent with a strong adult flavor 😌. Still, when I was drinking it with the day's horse mackerel sashimi and seared octopus, we both confirmed to each other that that 🧐 bitterness and astringency took off 😳 even to America ✈️ 😄. It turned out to be a good sake as we drank more and more of it 😙. In summary, while the previous Kuro Ihyakumangoku was "hard-core Bida-san", this Shiro Aikoku is more like "hard-core Bida-san"😙. By the way, my daughter who really flew out of Japan ✈️ was surprised by the food and culture the size of America 🇺🇸, but seems to be having a great time being introduced to many of his friends 😊. On the other hand, those of us who stayed behind in Japan🇯🇵 will be going home tomorrow 😅 and the day after tomorrow we will be staying overnight in nearby Nikko to enjoy drinking and eating 😅. Aikoku 🇯🇵 drinking and Tochigi love 🥰.

I've been wanting to drink it since I saw the Sake no Wa post, here ‼️ I found it chock-full in the corner of Yodogawa Sake Shop's fridge 😳I didn't even look at the label and was happy to take it with me👍. So last Friday I had a bottle of Daisetsukei from the series I've never had before 🤗. A bottle that fits our innocent nature 😊. What? I'm not sure if it's "ignorant sake" or ⁉️ but it's true that my knowledge of sake is equal to ignorance 🙄 I'm the type of person who drinks by feel 😅...that's why it's innocent 🥹. I'll make love to you The aroma is sweet 😌. I'll take a sip...! This is delicious 😋. It has a nice sweetness and a light acidity. It has just the right amount of sweetness and light acidity to make it a 🈴 certified drinkable by international J&N standards 😙I'm so glad I got to drink it 😙. By the way, I went to the liquor store over the weekend to pick up 3 bottles of Tasake's Tokujun, which is my goal for this year, and 2 bottles I haven't tasted yet 🙂. Then I saw that they were having a lottery for No.6 at the cash register, so I thought I might be able to go again! and I immediately entered ‼️ I had registered the name of the store in my cell phone this time and I was ready to win 🤗. I was supposed to call to report my win yesterday, so I carried my phone with me all day long... but this time I didn't get a call 😢.

Well, in the last post we went back to the past posts of Tasake 🧐 and this time let's take a quick look back at ⁉️ to see what was our first Tochigi sake 🧐. I used to get stuck in the middle of a post before, so I'm glad to see the improvement👍 And after a lot of scrolling 😅 I finally got to the top of the page ‼️ where our first post about sake was...........................Wind Forest 😳! I'm sure you're going to say 😆 that's not Tochigi sake 😅Next was Saku, then Hitakami...........................and then Tochigi sake didn't come up 😢. I was surprised to see Sengoku on the 15th post! And at the end of the comment, the words "love for Tochigi" are clearly written: ‼️ This might have been the real beginning of J&N 😄! So, while chewing on the sake history😊I'll make love to you with monja on this day! The aroma is light and fruity 😌. I'm sure it's still light, sweet and sour! It's light, sweet and sour and delicious 😋 This is a favorite of all people 😍 but.... But you know...I still feel the sourness is normal 🧐may be I'm assuming too much 😅I miss that sourness 😌😌. This is a bottle I drank last Sunday, "Never Drank Series" is still going on ‼️ and I'm done with the unposted ones from last week 😆. This is a bottle of Ishikawa Noto Sake Sogen that I've been wanting to drink for a long time 🤗. We had already decided what we were going to drink, so we concentrated on seafood 😙 We first bought some squid sashimi and found some cheap sea urchins on sale nearby 😳 Okay! We decided to be extravagant 👍 and added salmon roe and decided to have a hand roll parley 🥳🤗 and bought some nice nori seaweed to start the party ‼️ I'll make love to you! I don't think there's much of an aroma. I'm not sure if it has any aroma or not, but I'll make love to you! It has a robust flavor 😚 with a bit of bitterness and a strong taste 😋. And when paired with the sea urchin crayfish hand roll sushi...pyaa 🤩 this takes the flavor of the sake to the heavens 🌕. And while the ingredients may be good or bad, I've come to the conclusion that it's the nori that counts 🤗. By the way, a few months ago my shaver broke 😓I went to an electronics store but it was quite expensive 😰I thought about how many 4-goules I could buy with this 🤔 and I couldn't buy it 😑. I was using a T-shave 🪒 instead 😅I bought a shaver as a birthday present! It's so easy 😙.

I still haven't raised the drinks I had over the weekend 😅I'm interrupting this post because a major event came first! So everyone, April 1st, the beginning of the new year 🌸 or April Fool's Day 🤥, is Jay's birthday 🤗. It's Tuesday and the party is about to begin! Naturally, Tochigi sake was chosen as the celebratory sake, and Chuaai-san, who hasn't had a drink at home for a long time ‼️ was chosen because its colorful and cute label is perfect for Jay 👶🏻 😆. I'll make love to you! The aroma is fruity 😌 The label makes me think it's passionate. The first sip is delicious 😋It's juicy and sweet, but the bitterness in the second half is pleasant 😙It goes perfectly with the steak and salmon roe rolls we had that day 🤗. I was a little bit worried because the sake shop's introduction listed the sake level as -2 or -3 😅 but even without the advantage of being a Tochigi sake, it was certified as a good sweetness by international J&N standards 👍. So it was an instant kill deal and we only had one more beer 🍺 and a cake 🍰😋. Now that I turned one year older yesterday😁 it will finally be a year of moving from Arakan to Riakan ‼️ I will walk slowly, chewing and drinking! I want to go around Japan and watch MLB games when I get settled 🥹. My dreams are growing Tochigi Ai 🥰!

The 601st bottle is also Tochigi sake after all 😉This is Sentori who gave up the Kiri number to Tamaka: ‼️ Looking back, 500 CI was at the end of May last year, and I consumed 100 bottles until 600 CI in about 8 months...so 12 bottles per month! I've been taking a good rest on weekdays and concentrating all my efforts on weekends 😋. From now on, I would like to be mature enough to savor sake while savoring it slowly 😌 and to share the taste with you by putting it into words. I've seen some reports of spills and such, but I'm a grown-up and opened the bottle without any difficulty👍The good citrus aroma wafting around tickles my nostrils. ☺️ I will make love to you in a Riedel glass. It's lively and full of flavor 😌 oops that was confusing 🤭 I meant fresh and juicy and dry and full of flavor 😋. If I had to describe it in one word... I take back what I said before: ‼️ I think "yummy😍" would be the best way to describe it 😁. I couldn't afford to be an adult to begin with 🤣. Honesty is the best Tochigi love 🥰.

I was browsing the fridge at the liquor store when I noticed the unadorned blue 🟦 label that caught my eye 😳I was attracted by the cleanliness of the label 🤗This is our first time here at Bikou: ‼️ I'll make love to you! The aroma is fresh fruit😌. The first sip is fresh, fruity, juicy, and tart 😙I wanted to shout "freshly harvested fresh! It's easy to drink and has a nice sharpness, so it goes down smoothly 😋. It's really delicious 😍I really like this one 👍 By the way, here's a shot of my daughter and him on a rare road trip to Japan. He will be in Japan for the whole month of February, but this weekend he and his daughter went to visit Jay's father in Chiba! He and his niece are very grateful for the opportunity to spend the night together and free her sister 🥹. The father, who works for a foreign company and used to speak a little English, asked in English, "Do you know XXXX company? He smiled happily when he answered I know, partly because his daughter had spoken first 😊. But I tend to forget the most recent one 😅Do you know my company? He said it went on till episode 5 😆 but still he was not dumbfounded and answered that he knew every time 🤗. I hope he spoke one word of English and his father got some mental exercise too 🙂.

Following the meat sauce 🍝 a while ago, Jay 😋 had an irresistible craving for kiritanpo nabe after seeing Hirupeko's post. While we were walking together as usual, I told Nobby about it and we were both completely in the mood for kiritanpo 😙 We bravely went to the supermarket, but they were sold out of kiritanpo😱gwahhhhhh😓...this must be because people who saw Sake no Wa bought all the kiritanpo 😁. I was wondering what to do 😨 when I found "Damako Mochi" on sale nearby ‼️ so I bought other ingredients and we had Seri Nabe with Damako Mochi 🤗. I bought some other ingredients and made this nabe with Damako Mochi 🤗 I served this nabe with Asahi Kohki's Kumi Kumi! I'll make love to you! The aroma is freshness of nokkumi ☺️ The first sip is easy to drink and sweeter than expected 😚 but the acidity is calm and brings it all together like a homeroom teacher 😋. The first time I tried Seri (Japanese parsley), it was surprisingly unctuous for its aroma, and the Tamako Mochi was delicious, just like a round Kiritanpo! This nabe was the right choice👍. The sake was just as good with the nabe as it was with the rice, and every time we ate or drank, we kept repeating, "Wasn't Asahi Koki this good? Nobby kept repeating "I don't remember Asahi Koh being this good" every time we ate or drank. Akita style nabe with Tochigi love 🥰!
