I found a brand from Saitama that I had never heard of. I will have it out of love for my hometown. Chichibu Nishiki is a new brand of Yao Honten. Only one store in Saitama carries it. 6 stores in Tokyo and 5 stores in Kanagawa. Where is the love of hometown? It is delicious with a good balance of sweetness and sourness. It is easy to drink. It went well with mackerel mirinboshi (dried fish).

The last sake in Chiba was Iwanoi🍶. Dry sake that goes well with grilled fish. Since I live in a prefecture without a sea, I went home after looking out over Tokyo Bay.
