The aroma is... surprisingly modest. When you drink it, the aroma is slightly apricot. The taste is... oh, it is indeed sweet ✨. The first rice wine I ever drank was the cherry blossom label of the One Hundred and Forty-Four. Then I had to try the Momiji label! The last of the last three drinks of the second half was another Jyushiyo! First time I've ever had four different kinds of drinks in one sitting. 40% polished domestic rice, 15% alcohol by volume I believe the rice used for the EXTRA was Yamagata Prefecture's Snow Goddess! Compared to Yamadanishiki and Omachi It is a little less floral than Yamada-Nishiki or Omachi. But of course it is sweet. It has a good balance with the acidity. A little fresher than other Jyushidai wines. This is a good level to compare with Niimasa and Tasake. But when I think about which one is my favorite... I like them all after all 🤩. The mouthfeel is light for the alcohol content. The subtle sweetness and acidity from the No.6 yeast and the sake yeast is the same as today's. It is the same as the current one 😋.
