Let's buy something we've never had before! In the series of "Buy something you've never had before!", we brought you here without any preconceptions because we were attracted by the beautiful bottle following Bikyuu's. ‼️ We are the first time to visit Tsushimaya 🤗. I'll make love to you! The aroma is gorgeous and sweet ☺️ The first sip is a delight! It's fresh and has a sharp aftertaste, so it's a bottle that goes down smoothly. Nobby said, "I might be able to drink some chrysanthemum if this is the case. No, I think it's still too early😅. By the way, how do you manage your lace curtains? I noticed that my house is 24 years old and I have never changed the lace curtains even though I have washed them 😅But one of them was torn and my daughter's boyfriend is coming to our house at the end of February, so I replaced it with a new one in a hurry. But ⁉️ color is too white and I feel uncomfortable 🤔...then I started to worry about the stains on the sliding door on the other side 🧐. Okay... I'll change this one too! Let's change this one too: ❗️ After prepping on YouTube, Nobby bought the sliding door paper and props, and Jay put them into practice! It was plain white paper with no pattern, but we were able to overlay it quite well👍. As a result, only this room was transformed into pure white curtains and sliding doors 😆 just like the label of white yeast rice wine 🤗. I think we are ready to welcome them now 😉.

I've been curious about this one every time I see it at a sake shop! I was looking at the refrigerator at the liquor store wondering if it was sold anywhere in Utsunomiya 🤔 when I found it and rushed to pick it up, saying 😳There it is! I loosened my grip and looked at the price tag in my eyes and froze for a while. 😶‍🌫️ I didn't hear anything about it 🫢. But I wanted to drink it and I didn't spend any other money 😅 so I got it👍 I'll make love to you I'm feeling some kind of wooden vat feeling 😙 and Nobby I can't feel that at all Jay 🥲I looked back at your review on Sake no Wa and saw a lot of rice with the wood vat feeling! Nobby's tongue was sure 😄. The taste was a delicious one that we like, from light sweet and sour to a honnori bitterness that tightens up 🤗. Yesterday, we went to Tokyo to see them back in Japan 🤗Noby's brother and my mom joined us and the 6 of us went to Ginza for Sukiyaki lunch (delicious) → Asakusa sightseeing (very crowded💦) → beer 🍺 break! After that, we split up with my mother and brother and the four of us enjoyed drinking and eating at an Okinawan izakaya (🏮) in Ueno 😋. My daughter's English and his Japanese comprehension skills have both improved and we all had a great time 😄. We are planning to come to Utsunomiya in February together, so we are looking forward to many more things 🏮.

This was the first J&N walk of the year! We bowed to the health forest 🌳 of our usual course 💦 for about an hour of exercise. After all that hard work, we went shopping for dinner and asked "Do you want a hot pot?" I was already decided! Jay said, "No, I've already decided! The reason is that I saw a picture of Maddie's spaghetti with meat sauce 🍝 on Sake-no-wa and I had a craving for it 🤗. I mean, there are times when you see sakewa and want to drink this, but there are also times when you pretty much want to eat this, right? And the pasta partner chosen was 😋 we've always wanted to drink 😋 our first Tsuneyama-san ‼️ This Zuichi Harinako-san also recommended it, and we didn't hesitate to get it 😋. I'll make love to you The aroma is slightly sweet and fruity☺️ The first sip is a little sweet and fruity 😋 Oh, this is my favorite type of wine 😍the fresh sweetness and acidity with a touch of tanginess is my favorite 😙. It's a true classic 👍 and perfect with meat sauce 🤗. By the way, my daughter returned home safely from UK🇬🇧 the night before last 🛬😊She had a great time in London from 12/27 to 1/7 🤗. And I was relieved to know that it was just him and me when we returned home 😊. I'm looking forward to seeing them again this weekend in Tokyo 🥹.

I can't keep up with my writing 📑🥲I'll be raising the drinks I had over New Year's break! Here's the first one! J&N's motto is to try new sakes and not buy the same ones as much as possible ‼️ 🤗 of course there are a few exceptions 😅 like the winter nigori sake, we don't buy many of the same ones 🤔. The only two exceptions are Sentori Yukidamari and HIRO-CHAN Nigori which I've brought two years in a row ‼️ I saw HIRO-chan last year when I went to the liquor store on a whim, but I didn't want to go back 3 years in a row 😶... but then I went back a few weeks later and met her again 😁It's fate 🥹 and I took her to the store! My mother Nobby went home for the night and our house was quiet for the first time in a long time 😌 Hiro-chan was able to open the bottle quietly too! We poured the top clear glass into the Riedel and toasted together for the first time in 2025 🥂This time has come back 🥹When I looked at the table, I saw a gorgeous Ori Dance 💃 had started and I watched it for a while...I stroked my cat while turning the glass. No, there was no cat 🤣. I'm so drunk with myself that I'm writing all over the place 😁. I was so drunk I had to write it all down 😁......! I could understand that good food is good food 🤗.

I've been working furiously this week 😵 and haven't been able to do any writing & rice activities 😩. So I'm late to the party, but I had a drink last weekend at the expensive 寫楽さん🤗. I'll make love to you! The aroma is sweet and fruity 😌. The first sip is both round and fresh 😚 It went well with the sashimi of the day 😋. By the way, let me tell you about last Wednesday, November 27. We took a day off and went out together. He had eaten a really delicious meat at a company dinner party 😋, and since he had never done anything for our birthdays or wedding gifts 😅, he suggested that we treat him to lunch for the past 5 years 🤗! It was our first time to eat at epicurean and the decor was gorgeous 🤩, different from other yakiniku restaurants we usually see 😳. We toasted with beer 🍻 and highballs 🍻 and enjoyed the food and conversation 🍻. After lunch time, there were no more customers around and we realized we had been there for about 3 hours 💦 how slow we were going 😅. I had mixed feelings about the pleasure of having my son buy me a drink ☺️ and feeling sorry for making him pay for it 🥲...and some heartburn from eating fatty food ☹️...but thank you 🥹.... We usually drink a bottle of sake, but this day was a rare occasion for us to compare with Kawakame 🤗. Our partner was Ryoko's first dry sake ‼️ I'll make love to you The aroma is surprisingly fruity 😌. The aroma is surprisingly fruity 😌 and when you take a sip, you'll be surprised! It tastes like THE sake🍶😋, but maybe it's because I still have some of Kawakame's peculiarity on my tongue🤔, it feels very heavy😓I stopped after about 1/3 of the bottle this day✋. The next day, I had it first to reconfirm the taste of Hishiko! It was a completely different experience from the first day, it was like a dry sake with a strong aroma 😋 and a delicious food sake 😚. I guess the order of drinking is important 🤔. 😅I bought a bottle of this one along with the Keiraku Nagosasake because it was too expensive 😊. I think most dry sake is reasonably priced, isn't it? By the way, yesterday I had my blood drawn for my regular checkup 🥲I went without alcohol on Tuesday and Thursday this week and drank beer🍺 on Wednesday, but now the results are... 🎊No problems with my numbers, including liver function 🤗Maybe this will shorten the period of sobriety before my physical exam next year again 😄. And..! Tonight is the first Tochigi Prefectural Meeting since March, a whopping 8 months ago: ‼️ I'm ready for a walk and now I'm off to have some fun 👋!

Here's the second one from Team Orange: ‼️ This is Mr. Akigumo, whose existence I learned about when I received Summer Cloud 🤗. I received this one on October 1! Normally Tuesdays are a day off for drinking, but as soon as we got home, Nobby said, "I've got something to drink on the menu 😊" and the dinner table was ready for a drink! Of course she did! Because 10/1 is Sake Day, we can't help but drink. And Jay Why is today Sake Day? Although I drink more, my knowledge of sake shows no sign of increasing 😓. I'm J&N, living by sensibility 🤗. I'll make love to you! I'll make love to you! I'm not sure if it's a good thing that I'm not a fan of the sake or not, but it's a good thing that I'm not a fan of the sake. I heard it can also be served warmed! I was told before I drank it that it could be heated up, but I finished it cold before I had a chance to warm it up 😙. Now that Izumo Fuji is done with Akigumo, it's time for Yukigumo! It's our last year's Nigori Festival Champion Sake 👋. Here's the first bottle of Team Orange that I gave you a picture of in one of my previous posts: ‼️ I've been wanting to try it for a long time and finally was able to bring it to you 🤗. I'll make love to you! The aroma is mild 😊. It has a deep and calm taste that can be enjoyed in the cooler autumn evenings 🍂. It was a rare day when I drank half of it and stopped 🫸. The next day we had the rest of the bottle and it tasted better on the second day, which we rarely get to enjoy 😙. I had seen @Mizuhashi's post last year and wanted to try it, and even after that, I had expressed my desire to drink it to several people who had already tried it. And after over a year, I finally got my hands on a bottle 🤗... but then I looked back at @Mizuhashi's post on sakéwa... 🤔 Hmmm? Something's different ⁉️ I looked closer and it was Toyoga that was raised 😳 I'm sorry, I got the brand name wrong again after Shinomine => Shigemasu 😫.... But look at the third picture! I'm sure I made a mistake 😆. Well, Toyooka was delicious 😋 and I have my next goal to find Toyooka! I think everything is OK now that I have my next goal 👍.

Yukimo won the J&N Nigori Festival at the end of last year, beating out many of his competitors 🤗Six months have passed since then, and Izumo Fuji has chosen...well...this time of the year! Beautiful summer clouds with a label depicting iridocumo clouds ⛅️ welling up in the bright blue sky, just like summer clouds. I'm looking forward to this sake, which is brewed with Sakonishiki from Izumo. I'll make love to you The first sip has a strong umami flavor, which is typical for a summer sake 😋, but it is followed by a crisp acidity that makes it a refreshing and delicious sake. I paired it with a steak on this day to relieve the summer heat, and it was perfect for the summer cloud flavor 😊. Izumo Fuji, after winter and then summer, you also get "autumn clouds 🍁" 🤔Autumn clouds are scaly clouds...the autumn sky feels higher 😌. It's still hot🥵every day, but I noticed ☀️ that it's already August and the seasons go by so fast... I googled it and found out that there is also Akimo 😳. I'm sure the orange labels will start showing up in September ☺️ and I'll definitely get this one around that time 👍 I'd love to add the Spring Cloud too 🥹.

That Mr. Shinomine🫢⁉️ I rubbed my eyes and checked again 👀 Are you Shigemasu? Or...yes! I asked Nopie to check too, but this was definitely Shinomine-san: ‼️ I really wanted to buy Rokumaru 😅I've been into dry sake lately 🤗but I didn't know that this is the No.1 most popular sake 🍶 among Shinomine's many lineup 😊. I'll make love to you on Shinmasa day 🤭! I love it when I take a sip and feel a strong acidity in the clean but heavy texture of the sake ☺️ As I continue to drink, this acidity balances out the overall flavor and is a perfect combination of umami and spiciness😍This is delicious 😋 but I feel like I'm getting drunk too fast 😚. I was able to enjoy this long-awaited encounter 😌. And the third picture! I put the labels of Shigemasu and Shinomine side by side 🙄. At the end of January, I had a bottle of Daishinshu dry sake 😋 and I thought it was fruity and refreshing and I could drink it as much as I wanted 🤗. After that, I've had a variety of dry wines and I think I've built up my basic strength 😆This time I'm going to try a super dry one👍. I thought it might be a little too big 🤔 after having half of Nishibori's rich sweet flavor 😅😅 but that's Daishinshu's trustworthy and proven track record! I'll make love to you I'll make love to you! This is a fresh bottle with a subtle apple flavor, a good aroma, and a strong umami, and just like the dry one we had in January, it's delicious enough to drink as much as you want. I really like this kind of fruity and refreshing dry wine 🥹. I drank it all up in one gulp 😚 and when I had a few centimeters left, my rationale kicked in and I put the lid back on, but I drank a little too much that day 😓. We've been able to enjoy both sweet and spicy drinks recently 😄I think I'll try Kangiku, which I've been avoiding because of its sweetness.... And on Sunday when we met again, we opened the rest of Nishibori and killed the rest of Oshinshu in a blink of an eye 😋... but it's Sunday, so be careful not to drink too much... but we don't want to drink like this 😅. So we searched the fridge for the last bottle!

Yay! The long night is finally over 🌃☀️ J&N physicals finished on Thursday and Friday respectively 😮‍💨 I don't know the final results 😅 but at least they both had good liver function 🥹. This result verified that whether we abstain from alcohol for a whole month like last year or for 13 days like this time, the result of the diagnosis will not change 😅I will report it at the next Sake no Wa conference😁. So the first bottle to drink after about two weeks of sobriety, as you can all guess 😄from Tochishu👍. Back to basics, my favorite modern omachi raw from Senkyu: ‼️ This raw seal is important 🤗. Actually, I went to a few liquor stores where I could easily find it, but they were sold out and didn't have it 😨. No way! I went into a liquor store and got the last bottle! I'll make love to you! I'll make love to you! The aroma is so good that you can't wait to taste it! One sip and ......🥹............☺️......Yummmmaii😚 The sweet and sour Senkou flavor that permeates the five organs that have been examined 😊The sweetness and sourness run through your mouth like a merry-go-round🎠🤗. One of J&N's 2024 goals has already been achieved~‼️ We have been dreaming of having No.6 at home ever since we had it for the first time outside in May of the year before last. The quality expiration date is February 2024, so you never know what might happen at any time😅As promised, we held the opening ceremony on a Friday when there was nothing going on 👍. I'll make love to you in a Riedel glass The aroma is slightly fruity 😌. We both couldn't help but smile after taking a sip☺️It's so light, refreshing and easy to drink that it almost lifts you up, with just the right amount of freshness and light acidity, a step up from the less carbonated, superb champagne🍾...yep, it's really delicious anyway😋! I guess dreams are not meant to be seen, but to come true 🥹. It took me a long time to get it 🥲I was going to savor it slowly, but it was so good that I drank it in a moment 😆. It's like I couldn't get it before, but this time it was so easy 😁I'm going to try S and X next time 😊. And my next goal is to get a shot of the beauty...I can't even find my footprints 👣 let alone my back 😢I guess I'll have to go out and drink first 🤔.
