Sorry for the delay in wishing you a Happy New Year. At the beginning of the new year, we wish those who have been affected by disasters a speedy return to normalcy. We look forward to working with you again this year 🐲. We started the year with Houou Mita Heki-ban. It has a medium thickness, yet it has a strange sensation of being easily penetrated. The aroma is full of ripe fruitiness and aroma of white grapes, strawberries, and apples. The mellow and multifaceted flavor is made fresher by the cuddly acidity. The sweet and sour taste and umami were also maximally delicious. Tochigi Ai😌.

We are in the middle of the nigori festival J&N's annual half time 🤗! It's been a year since I had Hirotogawa Nigori, but it's been 2 years since I had this Tokujun in the early days of Sakegawa 😅. No, I wanted to drink it! I wanted to drink it 🙁 but I guess G7 was too popular to buy 🙄. Let's have it cold first! It's so refreshing and easy to drink, and the flavor and happiness spreads in your mouth....so deeply delicious 🥹. After a few glasses, I thought maybe we don't need to heat it up 😋...but we didn't do that last time, so let's heat it up 😙. I asked Nonbei Yokocho to heat up the sake! It's so mellow! I knew it was heated 🍶 which one is ☺️ 😅 Either way, it's a very relaxing sake 😌 I really like this kind of sake! I hope to drink more Hirotogawa next year👍 By the way, Christmas is over, but I have an announcement from J Reindeer and N Tree 🤗 I was able to get insurance coverage for my car 🚗 repairs, which saved me 100 bottles of 4-gouge, so I decided to use it to the fullest 😆 I went to the end of the year liquor stores to greet people on the weekend morning❗️4 picture is the result of 5 stores I visited🥹15/100? I don't have any more regrets 😌I think I'll have a good new year now 🤗.

Nigori Festival (3) Hirotogawa after a year ‼️ Oh, sorry, I haven't had a bottle during this time 😓I didn't want to offend T.KISO 😅This time I also brought some Tokujun to compare drinks 🤗. I was getting more and more impatient every time I heard about the availability of this one 💦 but I was able to get it again this year 😌. Now let's open the bottle! Last year I was able to drink the top clear, but this time when I twisted the lid, the automatic stirrer started the Ori dance 💃 and it was all cloudy 😳 but it's also a nice winter view 🥹. Now I'll have it in a Riedel glass😊. Is it a sweet fruity aroma 😌. One sip and wow! A pithy and gassy feeling on the tongue ❗️ ah yes, that's the taste ☺️ I've already talked about the taste. This is a lingering taste that makes you want to use between the lines... It's still delicious! Last year we drank it all in the blink of an eye and didn't get to try the second day taste 🥲 so this time we both decided we would definitely keep it 😤. But it was so good that the pitch went up and we realized there were only a few left 😦. Oh, no...we're going to run out! We came back to our senses at the point of Sunde, and switched to special puree with about 10% left 🤗. And the second day! I enjoyed the little that was left, which was slightly more rounded 😄.

Nigori Festival (2) I had heard that it was delicious for a long time 👂 but when I found it at the liquor store last year, there was only one bottle left and I had to give up crying 😢. This year I was determined to get it 😤 and when I found it, I was able to find it at the same time 🕺 so I took it home 😁 so I wouldn't shake the sake 👍. Before drinking it, we, who don't like too much sweetness, were wary that it might be similar to last year's Kangiku 🤔... but our fears were unfounded! But our fears were unfounded 😌. It has a soft, sweet and gentle taste 😋, but it starts out crisp and clean, and the bitterness in the second half is good. ‼️ This is delicious 👍It was the first time in a long time that we killed it in an instant 😄 Even Nobby, who has a reputation for being very strict about sweetness, praised this one as 😋 delicious 🤗. By the way, last weekend I was sleeping in my apartment when my father woke up 😅 he is a day/night man 😅 he sat at his desk, turned on the light and started playing mahjong on his computer at 2am😳. We couldn't sleep until the wee hours of the morning as we always sleep in a quiet dark room 😵 as we could hear the game sounds like click, click, click, chiraling ♬. Well, I think mahjong game is good because using hands and brain is good for preventing blur 🥱.

I was reminded of how different the aroma can be depending on the glass 😳. The first sip is full of flavor and sweetness that spreads happiness in the mouth ☺️ and the second half is filled with sourness and a bit of bitterness 😋. But the sweetness is a bit strong for J&N who knows all about sour and sweet... I had it on two different days because it was a comparison, and I felt the sweetness was less on the second day. ☺️ For us, we prefer the second day 😊.

We had dry sake with horse sashimi on our GW family trip to Aizu, but this is modern Naraman ‼️ First time drinking at home🤗. We had a Sake Mirai at Eiko Fuji about 2 years ago, but we both felt that it might not be a good match for us 🤔 and we started to have a bad feeling about it 😅I had been refraining from buying it since then 😢. But a few months ago, we had a drink outside and the Sake Mirai from Akabu was so good that we decided to try it again 🤗. Let's open the bottle! The appearance gives the impression of melon, but the aroma also has a hint of 🍈😌. One sip and you're like, hmmm⁉️ this is clear and juicy😍A little dryness comes out at the end, but it's very well balanced including that👍. It was so good that we regretted our immaturity of 2 years ago and wondered why we had refrained from buying it until now 🥲 (we are still immature though...) I didn't realize this was Fukushima's 12th best 😳I knew Fukushima sake was of a high level 😊.

First Tochigi sake in a while: ❗️ Tochigi sake is the only way to bring Nobby back 😉. Zeke was catching real beetles and stag beetles with his kids, so I'll be here with Nobby to cheer him up 😆. I'm looking forward to it because I hear it's better this year than last year 😉. It's more sour than Semishigure and I really feel lemon 🍋 - I think it's better to call it Reska sake 🤗. It's 14 degrees, so it's very easy to drink 😋 We compared it with Semishigure that we had left over and Nobby said he was so happy to drink it ☺️ By the way, talking about the weekend visit to my parents' house. He was so weak that he was almost always sleeping, but we decided to take him out for a walk in his wheelchair to get some sunshine once in a while. ☀️ We took him out for a walk and shopping in the nice weather, and on the way home, he asked me if I wanted to walk standing up, since he was probably heavy. I was surprised by his suggestion 😳No, it would be great if you can do that🤭, I muttered in my mind, "No, I'm fine", and we walked on. This is a sake that goes in easily and cleanly 👍. The other week, we were thinking of sweets to serve to our relatives at a memorial service and decided on 🤔Ajarashi mochi. ❗️ I had to leave on Saturday morning, so I ordered it online to arrive on Friday, but when it didn't arrive in the afternoon, they said it was late in shipping 😩I told them to cancel it and they said they couldn't do that 😱In the end, it arrived on Sunday. I told them that I couldn't do that and they said that they would cancel the order 😱It finally came on Sunday 😆 We are both eating ajari all the time 😆. I had this Yonotori with some Ajari rice cake as a snack 🤗.

That foul drink you've always wanted to drink again: ❗️ The long awaited opening of the bottle 🤗 I thought, "This is Riedel, isn't it? So I pour it and wow, the aroma is different 😌. I love the shwashy look and my expectations are high 🤩 Hi! The taste does not disappoint: ‼️ It's sweet, creamy, and easy to drink, but not too sweet, with a refreshing acidity that brings it all together to give it a classy taste. I haven't had this in a year and it's still delicious 😋 I can't wait another year so I can buy another bottle 😆. By the way, speaking of reunions, last Friday I was invited to a farewell party for one of the members who used to work with me in Nagano prefecture before I moved to my current company, as he was retiring. We hadn't seen each other for about 30 years, but as soon as we met, we got to talking and it was a very enjoyable party 😄 What? The young man became the director of the department ⁉️ and we had a great time in no time 👋 We promised to play golf together next time and parted ways 👋. It's been a little while since the WBC, which was a very exciting event, ended, but I'm going to raise the drinks I drank during the U.S. round 🤗. First of all, a bottle of wine that I had while looking back at the TV special on the night that I was so excited about the semi-final game against Mexico 🇲🇽 and the huge win ❗️ You may find this surprising, but this is J&N's first Ozeyuki ‼️ Fresh scent 😌🍏😌🍏? Oh, this is a sweet saké! I felt like I haven't had a sweet sake in a while. But it's not too sweet, it's got a bit of sourness to it, and it's got a nice aftertaste that makes you want to drink more and more. I can drink as many cups as I want with this as a snack 🥹. Huh? Did I spill it? ⁉️ and it was gone so fast I wondered if it was Shuto's foot 😁.

I know it's only the weekend, but the WBC is horrible 😱 If you start drinking before the play ball, by the time it starts you're out of one bottle and adding another won't last until the game set 😨. I still finished my drink the other day😅. J&N wondering if this is the right way to go 🤔. I wish I had a 500ml or so drink that I could drink lightly with about 9 degrees of alcohol at times like this 😮‍💨 Oh 😳 there it is, for Saturday shopping: ‼️ So Bo-san (not Nozomu-san 😆), who has been on Nobby's mind for a while now, has been selected as the Japan representative 🤗. I like schwashy, so I had to get Snow fantasy which Yu🎶 had recommended to me before! I opened the bottle immediately😊. This one! It's an easy to drink juice with sweetness and just a hint of sourness 😋 It ran out about as fast as Akinori Sasaki's straight ⚾️ 😅. I'm going to win in plenty of time, so I decided to have tea 🍵 after this!
