Good evening, before Christmas🎄🤶, but it's actually our anniversary, so I was actually going to drink this New Year's Day🎍, and I regret a little after opening it that I should have waited until New Year's Eve 💁 here. Daishinshu Kagetsu Kokon 2023✨✨✨ This may be my first post about Daishinshu as a house drinker. That's probably the flagship class expensive one 😅. It looks like only 255 bottles were made with lot no. It has a viscous thickening when you pour it into the cup, and the aroma is very gorgeous, like a high quality melon or white peach. The taste is also very elegant, fruity and sweet, with a smooth acidity and condensed rice flavor. The second half is dry and crisp with no spines at all, and the lingering taste is pleasant and superb 😋🤤😋. I am almost done for the year, but I have finished my work & got energy until the end of the year. I wish you all the best. p.s I forgot to mention that I've put it on hold for a year 🤣.

Good evening, it's almost Xmas🌲🎅 season, but I failed to capture this year's example, so I'm posting this one that looks like it 💁. AKABU SPARKLING GALAXY 2024✨🫧🌌. This is Sparkling Galaxy, my personal favorite drink from Akabu 😊 It's so normal now that I'm pulling myself away from it, but it's from a year ago 😅. Opening the bottle was very peaceful 😌. As usual, the sake is still beautiful 🤩 with its beautiful bubbles & ginger as it pours into the sake cup. The aroma is not flashy, but it has a mild cucumber aroma, with ripe aromas of Japanese pear and caramel. The attack is already delicious at the time of the shwashy texture on the tongue 🎯, but the juicy melon and pear flavors and the nuance of eating grefrul with white sugar as a child also give it a full-bodied taste of maturity. However, the overall taste is bitter and dry, and you still feel like you're drinking a real Champagne 🍾, so it's easy to drink and still delicious 😋😋😋😋. Thank you very much for the food 💮😋😋😋.

Tonight, I'm in the mood for a Huaguan dinner, but it's out of season 💁 here. Senkori Senkohana 2024BY ✨🎇. I've not posted 2024BY since I drank 2023BY a year ago, but if you look closely, you can see that there is no date of manufacture on the bottle 😅 I had also rushed to buy 2025BY, but which one is this? I was in a state of wierd medapani 😵‍💫 but since there was no mention of nama-hashi, I assumed it was before Edo-bari and posted this one as 2024BY🤣 (not to mention the 1 year lay-back). The aroma was like a summer sake with a sharp acidic citrus flavor, but the effect of one year aging made it soft and sweet with strawberry milk 🍓🥛🥛. The texture is juicy, crisp, dry and refreshing, and I'm sure I'll finish it soon 😋😋🤤.

Tonight, I'm having a drink after coming home late from work 🍶 I'm going to have a bikini drink to motivate me on such a day 🤩. Garakudai Tamakyo Nakadori 2025BY✨ This is the Nakatori of Tamayura by Okini Masayo 😎. This may be the first time for me to drink Tamahyoki at home. Nice sound when you open the bottle 🎵. The aroma is a refreshing bouquet somewhere between muscat and cider. The taste also has a nice burst of gas on the tongue while the balance between the sweet and sour of the muscat and Japanese pear and the dry bitters of the adult cider is just right and delicious 😋🤤😋😋. The alcohol content is just right, full yet light, and the sipping never stops 😃.

Good evening, it's been quite a while since I've posted due to various reasons 🖊️ I opened a bottle of this new sake for my return to sake activities 💁. Iraka Gin/Kuro Hitogokochi Unfiltered Nama Sake 2025BY✨. About 2 weeks ago, I declared that I was going to cleanse my cold-like condition with alcohol! I was on the mend, and as I was out drinking due to the season, I came down with the flu 😷🥵 and ended up back in a state where I couldn't drink for about 2 weeks 😭. I'm sorry for the long preamble, but it's Hitogokochi, a new sake from Iraka. When I opened the bottle, I heard a nice gassing sound. The aroma is fresh apple and pear type 😊The taste also has a fruity attack with a chiri-chiri-type acidity 😁 But overall, the texture is dry bitter with a delicious rice flavor that is right up my alley and I can't stop drinking more 😋🤤😋😋😋😋. I wish the price was a little more reasonable, but it's so good that I buy it 😅.

Good evening, it's been quite a while since I've posted, but here's your first series of turtles 🐢💁. Hatsukame Junmai Ginjo Tojo Yamadanishiki Hiiri 2025BY✨🐢. The oldest sake brewery in Shizuoka, O-Kame 🐢. I'm still not back to full strength, but I've been in the mood for alcohol cleansing! I'm in a binge drinking mode 😅. I think it is rare to use Tojo Yamadanishiki even though it is Jungin. ☺️ Sometimes I drink authentic sake. The aroma is not flashy, but it is mainly a mild chemi aroma with a weak banana aroma. The taste is also very soft, with a pleasant attack of rice sweetness and acidity that is suitable for a mid-meal drink, followed by a soft spread of rich umami 😋🤤😋😋. The dryness of the aftertaste is also exquisitely good 😊.

Tonight is the first day of a three-day weekend, and I'm opening a bottle of sake from my favorite brewery here in order to relax at home and start drinking at night 💁. Garakudai Gekka Nakadori 2024BY✨ This is surprisingly the first time I've had Masayo Gekka🌙💐 at home. And it's a special order of Nakadori. I remember that it was a clear and light sake, if I recall correctly, The first thing I notice is the aroma, which is mild and weak, with a hint of muscat and herbs. The taste also has a hint of gas and a beautiful acidity that spreads and is slightly overlaid with the sweetness and flavor of rice. The finish is dry and sharp, with a light, dry adult cider 🥤 that I like very much 🤤🤤🤤🤤🤤🤤🤤. I love modern paleo sake 😊.

Sensation WHITE Gen 3 Koshiki Nama Moto Early Winter Limited Oorigarami Nama 2025-26✨ I'm in a hurry because of the title and too much meta information 😅 This is Shiki's winter limited edition orikami-gara miki and WHITE seems to be characterized by its sweetness. When opened, it smells like lactic yogurt and potash, probably due to the origins of the origami, and tastes like white peach, muscat, pear, and green apple with a milky attack and a beautiful acidity. First new Laughing Four Seasons sake in a long time and it's a satisfying one 😊.

Tonight, we finally open the new sake of the season & it's been a long time since we've had sake from this brewery 😳. Kido Junmai Ginjo-shu Shiboritate Nama-shu 2025BY✨! This is the first one of the season that just happened to arrive. It's a jungin, but the specs on the rice used are not written, but the standing aroma is a fruity ginjo aroma of fresh pineapple🍍 and apples. The light, sweet and sour juicy attack that is typical of freshly pressed sake grabs your taste buds and you can keep on drinking it 😋😋😋😋😋 The aftertaste is also light with a dry accent that is even better 👍. It is a sake that you should always have on hand as a daily sake (Junmai is even more affordable). Good evening, I'm dropping my first series 🤗. Kurosho Senjo, on a night like this... Raitori 2025BY ⚡️🦆 I've been curious about the name for a while, and happened to come across it, so I picked it up to try a brand I didn't know. ☺️ It seems to be a raw sake that was shipped one year after production, so it's a bit of a lay-back 🤣 The aroma is definitely somewhere between a mature aroma like kijoshu or caramel and a chemically mature aroma. The taste also has a coffee, caramel, and brandy-like attack, followed gradually by the sharpness of junmai sake, and the finish is full and lingering with umami 😋. It is best enjoyed on its own as an after-dinner drink, but it would also be great as an accompaniment to a hot pot (nabe) in the coming season.

Tonight, I'll be serving this one 💁 with anhydrous curry 🍛 over the weekend. Pukupuku brewing #country Suppedopuroku fall up 2025.10✨ Recently reissued? This is a pure rice suppai dobroku made with Aikoku that was recently reissued. The bottle is quite full of gas, so I opened and closed it several times just to be sure. When I poured it into the sake cup, it was full of bubbles and bubbles. The aroma has a strong fermentation smell of rice malt, which gives the impression of pickles, and a sour sour nuance. The taste is like a very sour citrus lemon 🍋, like drinking chelated lemon or C1000 😊 However, the sharpness of the bitterness in the aftertaste and the rice bumps of the doburoku are also very addictive, and they help the strong flavor of curry go down smoothly, making it a good pairing. Tonight, mid-week, I'm going to open a slightly better one 🤗. SENKOKU JO HIIRYU 2024✨ How many in the "Edo no kaeranai series"? I'm not sure how many times we've had this in the Edogarenai series, but again, it's a year and a half old & we're finally getting our hands on a flagship sake 😅 It looks like it's a specimen for the competition, so there's no etiquettes on the bottle, but I'm guessing it's a jun-dai level sake. It certainly has a very gorgeous ginjo aroma when you open the bottle. The usual banana tropical aroma of Sentori has been reduced to a whisper and the elegance of white peaches and muscats is in full bloom 😊 The mouthfeel is also full of acidity, but the focus is more on the umami of the rice and the depth of the flavor. There is no twist to it at all, but of course anyone who drinks it will definitely find it delicious 😋😋😋.

Tonight, let's have the sleepers continue to enjoy the new sake as they did last night 🤗. Collage Collage Natsu-Gin Mild Nigori We'll be enjoying our favorite summer Gin by Sherlock NAGOSHIZAKE 🍂🍶. The bottle is opened and the first thing you will notice is the clear color with a beautifully clear top clearness. The aroma has a tropical fruitiness of muscat, melon, and lychee 👍 The fruity sweetness and acidity on the palate, the deep umami flavor, and the dry sharpness and bitterness on the back palate delight all of our senses of smell and taste, and our faces naturally smile when we drink it 😁. It's so good, you can't stop drinking 😋😋😋😋😋. If you mix the lees and make it light nigori, there is no big change, but the astringent bitterness in the aftertaste is added to the spicy bitterness, making it even more profound and making it even more to my liking 💮. It's almost time for the new unfiltered or orikarami sake to come out, so I'm really looking forward to it 😊.

It is the straight pumping Ver of SAZANAMI. The stopper is a crown type, and it takes about 5 minutes to release the gas little by little. The aroma is weak lactic yogurt. The taste has a sourness with a hint of Japanese pear and a moderate sweetness, but the aftertaste is quite dry, which I personally like, and the sake goes down smoothly. It is delicious 😋😋😋😋.

Good evening, first series drop 🍶. Rumiko's Sake Junmai Sake Kubinokami 2024BY✨ Brewed by the wife of Natsuko's sake (Rumiko) 💁. I haven't read Natsuko's sake properly, and I'll read it next time. It's paired with Spanish mackerel marinated in saikyo miso for dinner: ☺️ The aroma is mild, almost scentless. The taste is a clear, transparent sake with moderate acidity and a soft sweetness of rice. It is a perfect match for a meal with its crisp and dry aftertaste while maintaining a smooth harmony when paired with Spanish mackerel in a position where it does not disturb the meal.

Tonight, we continue our series on past due sleeping 😅. This one has been sleeping in the back of the stocker for 2.5 years. La Jomon Junmai Shu Takumon Nama Shu 2022BY✨ Surprisingly, this lot has not been released in the past, so I opened the bottle thinking that it would have aged well since it's a draft sake. The aroma is half fresh gourd aroma and half aged caramel aroma. The taste has a beautiful acidity at the attack, but it soon turns into a sweet and delicious sake like the black honey of pudding. The aftertaste is also bitter and not the original flavor, but it is a taste that makes you feel warm in this season, and as a result it is delicious 😋😋😋😋 I will enjoy it later with lukewarm sake or something 🍶.

SENKOKU Modern SENKOKU Mukunin Mukunin Kumi Naokumi 2022BY✨. I was surprised to see that there was still a pre-Edogari sake 😳 I looked closely and it looks like it's a limited edition directly pumped sake, and it's been 2.5 years since he last had it 😅. I was afraid to open the bottle, but the aroma was banana-like and more than that, it had a refreshing feeling of rummy, the taste was pleasant with chirichiri-gas and acidity, and there was a sweetness with a bit of maturity, very delicious 😋😋😋😋😋😋. It was so easy to drink that it will be gone in no time 🤩.
