Sake purchased in Niigata
Hishiko THE BASE Junmai Ginjo Dry
Fruity aroma, clean and refreshing.
The aftertaste is quite dry.
However, as the cup progresses, you can taste the sweetness?
It was the kind of sake that you can't stop drinking.
Serve with soy-sauce flavored okaki or salted boiled edamame
This is the first junmai ginjo-shu in the Hishiko series to be made entirely from Niigata Prefecture. Rounded standing aroma, clean taste, and soft thickness. The finish is firm and dry.
I remember drinking it outside and it was sweet and tasty 🧐.
I never drank it properly and thought it was ok, so I bought one that was sold in a set.
I had never had it before and thought it was ok...it was spicy.
The aroma is fruity, but the sourness stimulates the back of the throat. Spicy 🔥.
I know, it says NEW NIIGATA DRY on the label 😅.
I pretended not to notice it, but it was still spicy 🤣.
