I went for a walk to a slightly larger supermarket that I don't usually go to. I thought the selection at the supermarket would be the same, but I was pleasantly surprised to find delicious-looking side dishes, dried bonito sashimi from Chiba, and scallops from Hokkaido. Well, a bowl of bonito. Watery sashimi doesn't taste good at all. But the special pure sake from Bikyuu is delicious. I gulp down the sake in my teacup. It's a shame to waste sake, but it's good. Kochi sake is booming these days. I like sake that is light and easy to drink. Not that it matters, but the morning drama "Anpan" is also interesting.

Last week I spent a week in Fukuoka on a business trip. I went with a colleague who loves to drink, so we were busy, busy, busy. We drank and drank. I was very satisfied. The photo shows Tenshin, a famous sake from Kokura, which I drink at my regular hotel. This is another stable sake, as usual. Souvenirs were Wakanami, Shichida, Matsuura Ichi, and Kitaya. The usual lineup. I have come to visit Kyushu by chance, and Kyushu is not only good for shochu, but also for sake. (To be honest, I drank only Kurokiri during my stay.)

Hello Maruwa 🌞. Thanks for your business trip. Your souvenirs are austere choices, just like Maruwa-san 😊.

Good evening, Matsuchiyo-san. Thank you very much. A reluctant choice, I think so myself. But Wakanami is a 70% polished honjozo, and it is a surprisingly easy-drinking, modern sake.

As an adult, I've come to appreciate the taste of a bowl of vegetables. Eggplant, green bell pepper, and deep-fried tofu with ginger soy sauce. I paired it with Hakkaisan, the king of Niigata sake. The Honjozo I had the other day was good, but the special Honjozo is also exceptional. Sake at room temperature sinks in!

Good evening Maruwa-san🍶. I also love to drink sake with tempura, nimizushi, and asazuke (lightly pickled vegetables). I think it's the best way to taste sake because it has no peculiarities.

Good evening, Mr. Matsuchiyo. Tempura with boiled and soaked vegetables, it's a great way to sip a glass of cold sake. I guess it's because it's a non-intrusive snack that it can be paired with any kind of sake.

Received two bottles of Tosa Shiragiku's top-selling wine with the Furusato tax payment. Unusually for a Kochi sake, it is a mellow sake with a strong umami flavor and a pleasantly sweet taste, just as the label says. It reminded me somewhat of sake from Ishikawa. The Tosa sake with a light dry taste is good, but the sake with a strong flavor that makes you want to drink it goes well with fish. Today, it is served cold. I would like to try it at room temperature or heated. Shiragiku is a quintessential Shiragiku, and this one is delicious!

When I was in Nagoya, I made business trips to Hokuriku and took the Shirasagi train to Fukui several times, but this is the first time I have had this brand. I drank this brand for the first time. It is a selfish image, but Speaking of fierce generals, Katsuie Shibata was a fierce general. His castle, Kitanosho, is actually located in Fukui City, and you can walk to the castle ruins from Fukui Station. The sake is a rugged, men's sake. Nostalgic and old-fashioned, this sake brings back fond memories when you close your eyes. It is summer. Chilled tomatoes are good.

A warrior man's drink! That's a good description 🤣. I would like to drink it too👍

Good evening, Kouzou. I don't know if I should say this myself, but I think "samurai man's sake" is an apt description. It's an old-fashioned sake that is not to everyone's liking.

Furusato Tax Returns. Matsu no Tsukasa Junmai. Spanish mackerel tataki and mozuku seaweed. I wonder if Spanish mackerel can still be caught at this time of year. The fatty Spanish mackerel in winter is good, but the Spanish mackerel out of season is......., But, it is not so different. Spanish mackerel is very good. We have drunk many kinds of Matsu-no-ji, from Raku to Daigin and San-do, but this Junmai is the most suitable for us.

I went to a department store to buy sake, so I bought mackerel tataki and aji sashimi at the department store. A sake brewery from Fukui was there, so I bought two bottles of Fukui sake. I bought two bottles of Fukui sake. Recently, Jungin sake is also carrying Ichikyorai. But for me, this daiginjo with aluzome is the best. The fat of the mackerel, the fragrance of the seared mackerel, and the sake of the rice. After all, alcohol with a sharp taste is delicious.

Tanzawa, on the border of Kanagawa and Shizuoka prefectures, has good sake. Tanzawayama and Matsumidori. Tanzawa, Mt. Fuji, Mt. Kintoki, and the water must be good. Not only sake but also whiskey is available. Now, a friend of mine sent me a bottle of Matsu Midori Shiboritate, a freshly brewed, unpasteurized sake. It was given to me at the beginning of the New Year. I thought it had been left at room temperature, but.... I was relieved to see that it was not damaged at all. I refrigerated it and enjoyed it. It is fresh, bitter, refreshing, and easy to drink. On a hot day like today, cool snacks are good.

Yesterday it was dry, today it is sweet. The special Honjozo of Bikuyo is like drinking soft sugar water. The pleasant sweetness is delicious. It is a versatile food sake. The bonito is delicious. Sake is also delicious. Mr. Ota was in Kochi. I envy him.

One of my favorite Kochi sake, Mute Mukan Purchased at a recently opened Kochi antenna store. It is nice to be able to get a local sake that is austere and talented. It is dry and refreshing and drains the fat from fish. You can drink it forever. Good sake!

How many years ago was it that I visited Higashine Onsen in Yamagata? Yamagata is not only home to Jyushiyo and Zao, but also to a wide variety of sake and hot springs. Sake and hot springs are plentiful and of good quality. And the quality is good. Yamagata has both the sea and the mountains, so there is sake from the sea and sake from the mountains. Both are excellent. Yamaboshi is a mountain sake. It was the first sake I drank or made as a gift. It was supposed to be a dry sake with a sake strength of 28, but perhaps it was because it was unpasteurized, or perhaps because it was made to be easy to drink. It was supposed to be a 70% polished sake, but it had a refreshing flavor, and when I swallowed it, I was surprised. It is a delicious sake that will make you numb and get you drunk. I personally love Yamagata, including Hijiori, Zao Onsen, Hanabayo, Kamikigen, soba noodles, and taro stew. I want to visit again.

Aji sashimi and simmered dishes, special pure rice. It is often said at Sake-no-wa that special honjozo and special junmai are the best. Hirotogawa special junmai. As you probably know, it is a good sake. It soaks into the five and six internal organs. Every cell is happy.

I like sake best at room temperature. If it is at room temperature, it is Toyono-Aki. I am sorry to say that I am not a fan of Li Bai or Kunihki, but when it comes to sake from Matsue, I prefer Toyono-Aki. Sake from my hometown sinks in. It soaks into my fingertips. However, my hometown is Izumo Fuji, so I drink Toyo no Aki at a bar or at my acquaintance's house. It is spring. Sake in hot water and sake in a cup is good. No, it was too hot today. It is a summer day, but nabe (hot pot) and room temperature sake are both good.

I bought this Sandesi at the 7-Eleven in Matsue Station, but it was labeled raw, so I assumed it would be freshly stored. I was surprised when I drank it. It was a raw sake. It was a shame that I had only prepared such a random side dish. The soft, sweet flavor unique to nama-shu made my cheeks smile. This level of sake can be bought at a convenience store. This is the kingdom of sake.

Bonito is expensive. It's a matter of life and death for me, a bonito lover. I bought this char-grilled bonito at a department store. It's frozen bonito, but it's good. Straw-roasted bonito has a nice aroma, but charcoal-roasted bonito has a nice aroma too. And above all, the bitterness is good. Tosa sake is the best for bonito. Bikuyo has a gentle sweetness. Even arabashiri has a gentle sweetness.

I was a little excited to try firefly squid from Toyama. The size and price are different from those of Hyogo and Tottori. It would be disrespectful to the firefly squid if you don't make full preparations. So, when it comes to Toyama, this is what you should have. Tateyama's special brew. The sharpness, spiciness, and the smell of sake that permeates the body. It has all the good points of a honjozo sake, but with the refinement of a special honjozo sake. Tateyama is great at room temperature and even better when heated.

My favorite sagas are the humble sakes. Toichi, Tenzan, and Matsuuraichi. This junmai sake is really an orthodox, traditional sake with no characteristics. The world is in the mood for GW. I had a cup of sake with sweet mackerel miso and a cup of hot water. The fact that they can go right to the middle of the traditional sake is a sign that they have absolute confidence in their sake. Delicious.

As a heavyweight sake lover, I have always wanted to try this brand. I had no idea it was available at a liquor store directly connected to Osaka Station. I had to make a detour. It was easy to drink. Shuho is an introductory series, right? It smells like a rugged, hard sake with a moderate flavor. A little less is just right. The bottle was warmed up from room temperature, and the 4-gou bottle was emptied in one day.
