I never thought I would be able to eat bonito tataki at the end of December.
The neighborhood fishmonger is not to be underestimated.
So, I opened a bottle of my favorite sake. It is a honjozo, Tamanoi, from Minami-no-Kura.
It has a sharp spiciness with an umami taste and a spiciness in the aftertaste.
This is a dry male sake.
We washed down the bonito with room temperature sake. It is a luxury.
