It was delicious! I didn't expect it because it was made in Kurume, Kyushu, but it had a strong umami, sweetness, and soft acidity without much ginkou (gin aroma). I had to buy half of the bottle just to get it. Kurume is Seiko Matsuda. Red sweet pea?

When I moved to Utsunomiya more than 30 years ago, the reputation of this brewery was not good. As you know, the master brewer has changed, and the brewery has become a highly reputable brewery that carefully adheres to the traditional methods of sake making. This was the first time I tasted this brand, and it was very well made. I was very impressed with the quality of the sake.

Good evening, dewazakura 😃. We've only been into the sake swamp for about 4 years now, so we don't know much about Senkou's history 😅. They are now ranked #2🥈 in the whole country🥈, right? ‼️ proud of you🥹.

I would like to try the Snowman series next time. I heard that it is characterized by acidity, but I could drink this one just fine.

A true royal road. Delicious both warmed and at room temperature! Sweetness and umami like light snow. Gentle acidity. The quality of sake never changes no matter when you drink it.

What is it? Mmm~ Calpis dana mixed with sake. A sweet and sour low-alcohol sake. I had it on the rocks with yakitori (grilled chicken) because I was told it goes well with meat, but it's also delicious. Are they very good at sales?

It is a relatively conscientious brewer, even for a major company. It tasted like a muscat-flavored Niigata sake, which even non-drinkers would feel comfortable with. Compare with Gikyo. The company's Kamisen Nama Hashiroshi Junmai is the only brand that can be drunk in a packet. It is surprisingly priced at less than 1,000 yen for a four-pack.

Tasted with friends. Unlike usual Mida, it had no koji smell or sweetness, and the carbonation was very high. Is it as high as cola? It is a dry Champagne.

Chivalry is delicious. No matter how many times I drink it, it is always good. Today, I drank it with a glass of water and ice. The brand name is the best name. A tax return gift from the hometown.

The Kuzuryu [Kantanashi] sake cup we had ordered arrived at the distributor, so we picked it up and immediately heated it up with their [Gemini] sake. This sake is a regular sake, but it has such a high degree of perfection. This is enough for a regular evening drink. The sake bottle and sake cup are Dewazakura, but the sake inside is Kuroryu.

My first Chochin! I drank it cold, but it felt very bitter until it was warmed up. This is a sake for experts. However, the bitterness becomes less pronounced when the sake is warmed up, and it adds a nice accent to the sake. But it was a bit disappointing. I bought a cup warmer from Amazon for 900 yen, and it keeps the sake cold, so it might be good for sipping after heating up. P.S. The bitterness was due to my poor sense of taste caused by my dental work. I apologize for the long delay.

I have a long relationship with Koryu. Ishidaya, Hiiraju, and Shizuku are for special occasions. My standard is "Itsuhin". Even for regular sake, I do not cut corners and make it with care. It's the basic. It is more than enough to warm up and is very tasty. This is what you get for this price! I finished it off with a dessert of the seasonal special, [HARUKUCHI] Honjozo, served with ice.

All in all, it is an excellent sake that is considered best when heated. Left: actual tasting. The right 10years old is undrinkable. The 10year old has a slightly matured aroma and seems to go well with smoked food. Normally, 3 years is enough. The 3 year old is based on Honjozo, and the 10 year old is based on Tokubetsu Junmai.

I bought it because it won the gold medal in the heated sake contest. It was a modest sake in every way, and it was "the" heated sake for eating. Umami, acidity, sweetness, maybe half of Shinkame? It may be similar to Niigata sake.

Gikyo is one of my favorite breweries. This brand has a lighter alcohol content (14%) and is both affordable and easy to drink. The quality of the sake is good because it is made in Yamada's special A district. The Enishi in the same genre warms up nicely, but this one has a harsh acidity when heated, so I prefer it cold.

I've had most of the Shinkame brands, but lately I've been liking the orange (purchased from Shinkame no Yakata) - I'm not a fan of the orange. This green one was also quite good. 2016BY, 24/7 release from the warehouse, so it's an old sake? It is a very old sake because it was brewed in 2016BY, 24/7. So it is very mildly sweet, which is rare for Shinkame. Good warmed up. Purchased with Hikoson from a liquor store in Hasuda city.

I have had this sake in the past, but this was my first time to drink it. I drank it chilled because it was a draft, but a friend from Hiroshima said it tasted better when warmed, so I warmed it up and it was very nice, with double the sweetness and umami.
