Cheers to Otani's 10 strikeouts and 3 homers last week 🤩. It's really a story too good to be true, even for a baseball comic, and it's too embarrassing to write about ❕🤪. Is this guy a monster❔❔❔❔? Slightly fruity and pear-like aroma with a hint of spiciness on the palate. In the mouth it has a slightly tangy, fresh gasiness and a slight sweetness that matches the aroma, followed by a bitter finish ❕😀 😀. I still like Hitogokochi rice sake! ★★★★★

My wife was attracted by the cute turtle label at the liquor store and bought a packet ❕🥰. I can't wait to try Kame-no-o and Aizan sake ❕❕❕. Let's start with the aroma. It has a fresh sweet aroma like green apple and pear. When you put it in your mouth, the fresh sweetness spreads all over your mouth just like the aroma. There is also a slight sourness, and the sweetness doesn't linger, but it quickly evaporates 😀 😀. When you put some fatty bonito tataki in your mouth and drink it with it, the sweetness fades away and it feels dry. This is delicious ❕. ★★★★★

I went fishing for the first time in a while. I was aiming for nodoguro (red crucian carp), so I bought a bottle of hikakami sake to go with it as if I were fishing ❕ and I was ready to go. The result One bite size salted fish and many big Mackerel! I was supposed to drink it with seared nodoguro sashimi 😭⤵⤵⤵. Well, it's a good thing I wasn't a monk. I'm going to have a drink with a bite of salted fish! When I opened the bottle and sipped it, I found it to be a crisp, light and dry sake, as is typical of Hidakami, and the nodoguro were small but the fat was great and delicious ❕😋. The sake rice is my favorite Yamadanishiki, no doubt about it! Since it is an autumn-aged sake, it has a mellow and mellow flavor, which is my favorite type of great food sake! The label with an illustration of the process of brewing autumn-aged sake is also interesting! ★★★★

I love the dry carp river😍. Tasted it before mixing the nigori ❕😀😀 I think it's a bit alcoholic. I will mix the nigori and have it. The astringent taste and the alcohol taste from earlier is gone and the balance is great ❕🥰. It's a beautiful sake with a deep flavor that is replaced by the deliciousness and sharpness of the rice, and it's great. It goes well with all kinds of food, and is even good as a stand-alone sake ❕. ★★★★★

I bought a local limited sale brand of Kangiku Meikozo at the brewery. 😀 No wonder there was no check-in. Of course it was my first brand 🤭. The bottle was opened with a pop! When poured, the fine bubbles are fresh. In the mouth, it has an elegant sweetness like that of a pine muscat, and the gasiness is refreshing ❕🥰. It easily washes away the sticky fat of medium fatty sashimi and eel. The aftertaste is also refreshing, and you can feel the sharpness in spite of its delicious sweetness. ★★★☆☆☆☆

The sake we drank at the turn of the Bon vacation was Kubota Senju. Kubota is a light and dry sake that is perfect for pairing with the sashimi we bought, and its sharpness makes it a perfect mid-meal drink. It doesn't have the fruity taste of the modern sakes, but I like that it's just like a Japanese sake 😀. ★★★★☆

Last night I sang too much Southern at the karaoke on the eve of the 60th birthday party and my throat hurt 🤣. The last one is Shinsei's Flax Cat Kai. It has been a long time since I drank Shinsei, and my expectations were high because I had never had a flax cat before. Hmmm 😑. This is my first Otters! A gift from my nephew 😀. It is a Junmai Daiginjo, so the sweetness of the rice without any cloying taste stands out in this bottle. We had it with kabayaki on the day of the ox in the dog days. I would have preferred a drier taste for the shiroyaki, but it was a perfect match for the rich taste of the kabayaki, and the rich taste of the kabayaki was not overpowered and the deliciousness of the rice stood out ❕🥰. The sashimi also went well with the fatty medium fatty tuna and yellowtail sashimi. ★★★☆☆☆

Today's snacks are sashimi and dried hokke (hokke is a dried fish), so I took this out of the fridge, which I bought at Echigo Yuzawa station on a ski ⛷️ trip in February.
