Opened yesterday I thought I had been drinking Hirotogawa quite a bit, but it had been quite a while since I had had a Tokujun. I was surprised that I had not had it since I first started drinking Sakegawa, but it is a cheap sake with a consistent taste. I'm glad to have a regular sake like this.

Hirotogawa Junmai Ginjo Yamadanishiki The aroma is of the vinegared iso type (and a little cappuccino?). More gorgeous than I imagined! Sweet and sour, clean and light... very easy to drink! 😍😍😍(I thought it was low al but it was 15 degrees, normal) I didn't drink much other than nigori, but I'll start drinking it regularly now! 😁😁

Enjoy it with other local sake at Nakatsugawa, Gifu. Stable Hirotogawa, well-balanced and rich in flavor, makes food taste delicious. Fire-brewed, or perhaps undiluted?

Hirotogawa is indeed a great sake. In my opinion, it is the best sake for a mealtime drink. It doesn't interfere but has a sense of presence. Very good.

When served at a low temperature, it has a mild and gentle taste, and the rich umami of the rice seeps out with a refreshingly sour aftertaste. This is delicious! It has a taste that is a combination of the best of both modern and classic styles. The sweetness and umami taste increases when the sake is warmed to lukewarm, which is a good thing! On the second day, the mouthfeel becomes mellower and gentler. The taste is a bit blurred on the third day, making it a good choice to finish it on the second day.
