Strong rice flavor. The aroma is unique to sake with alcohol, The aroma is gorgeous, as expected of a sake entered in a sake competition. It is easy to cut through and has an excellent mouthfeel. The alcohol content is high at 17°C.

First brand. Purchased at Kadoya Sake Shop in Osaka. The first impression was "deliciously spicy. It gives the impression of being similar to Nabeshima, but without the gasiness. It has a very careful taste, and it makes you feel relaxed 😙.

Purchased at Hasegawa Sake Shop online. The 500ml bottle of this sake costs about the same as a 1.5 liter bottle, but that's why it's so tasty! I always drink it with a sense of anticipation. Alcohol content 17%. Rice polishing ratio 40%. The first saké has a firm, slightly dry taste. The balance is very good. It is not at all fruity like apples, grapes, pineapple, etc., which are common. It is not gorgeous, but as a food sake, it is a sake that goes well with food and makes you say "delicious". One more sip. As you take another sip and another sip, before you know it, it's gone. It was very delicious! (^O^)

Abukuma Honjozo 15% koji 65% kake 70% 1.8 liters 1980 yen I bought a bottle when I went to Fukushima. It is very sweet. It is sticky and clings to the tongue unpleasantly. It has a strong alteness. I'd rather drink it hot than lukewarm. Abukuma has a good image, but I would have had a better impression of this brewery if the honjozo was good. I searched for it and found it at a reasonable price of 1980 yen for a bottle! The sake degree is plus 1, so the taste is quite sweet, but if I had taken the price into account, I might have given it a higher rating. Rating 3.2 (out of 5.0) 20240421

I personally like "Abukuma" no matter what I drink, and this one was no exception. It has the gorgeous and fruity flavor that is typical of Abukuma, but it is not too harsh and goes down smoothly. I paired it with white wine stewed chicken thighs, and it was perfect!
