I opened a bottle of a souvenir I bought in Hawaii. This one is a so-called craft saké of lilikoi (passion fruit). I had heard that they had built a brewery relatively close to Waikiki and wanted to go there, but unfortunately, the brewery has moved to the Big Island of Hawaii in 2022, leaving only the store. The aroma was sour and koji-like, with a hint of Japanese sake, and a soft tropical breeze! It is not as fruity as one might imagine. When you taste it, it has a light, acidic flavor, but it is not a citrusy, sour sake either. It has a refreshing sweetness and acidity with a clean aftertaste, but it also has more rice than expected, making it more like a sake. It has a tropical flavor, but I thought it would be more like a juice. It goes well with vinegar-based foods such as salads. The volume is blinding, but the end of the bottle has more lilikoi than the beginning. The flavor is refreshingly tropical and astringent when you bite into the seeds, and the sake flavor is light. I enjoyed it with thoughts such as, "I want to go back soon. By the way, the store that handles Junmai Ginjo...which part of Junmai is Junmai? I thought, "What part of Junmai is Junmai? If I have a chance, I would like to try the Junmai one.

The price is expensive, so I don't think I will buy it. ISLANDER SAKE Kona Coffee The color is a little brownish and it smells like coffee. I always drink my coffee black, so I thought it was very light coffee. I don't think I'll buy this one either. Here, I ran into the owner and manager of "Sake Bar Shinshiro," which I had visited with bouken-san before.

After Shikishima, tkmts-san was drinking Ryujinmaru, and I wanted to try something of Takagaki-san's sake, so I chose Kirakuri. This time it was an unfiltered raw Nakadori. It has a caramelized taste with sweetness and a sense of maturity. It's just a coincidence that there is a succession of sakes with a sense of maturity, such as Washin, Shikishima, and Kirakuri.

At Ya-Ya in Kobe. This is the first time to drink Neko Masamune since it was transferred from the defunct Omi Sake Brewery to Maihime🐱. I was so excited, I visited Takahashi Yo Shoten for the first time, which I sometimes order from Corona Disaster! I visited Takahashi Yoh Shoten for the first time! I found a bottle of sake that I had ordered before and was very impressed. The Gan brewed by Mikito Takai, who is no longer with the company, was really delicious, so I chose the New Gan with the feeling that I would like to try it too. Nenohi Honjozo Spring-fermented We had it with hitsu-mabushi at Unazen near Nagoya station 🍶. Hot sake with a hot sake (I heard it's a Nagoya dialect word for "very hot") 😌.
