It has a very nice aroma of rice. The sweetness is firm...but not unpleasant...so it goes well with light white sashimi. I think I had this one before Kamo Kanehide. As someone said, the order of drinking is important! Well, they are both delicious!

I came to Kamakura to visit a grave. After struggling to weed the graves, we visited MOKICHI, which is run by the Kumazawa Sake Brewery in Kanagawa Prefecture. We compared three kinds of sake. The price was 1,300 yen for a rather large amount of sake! The doburoku has a slightly sour taste and is not too sweet. My daughter, who likes sweet, sweet sake-like doburoku, said it was a little different, but she gulped it down.

Hi Jay & Nobby 😆 This place had a nice high ceiling. I ate a sandwich at a different restaurant before going here, so I could only eat half a pizza 😅but still...I prefer beer 🍺 with my pizza.

Yamada-Nishiki 50% polished rice. Dry but rich with a strong sweetness of rice. Although I live in Kanagawa Prefecture, I had a feeling that I don't like sake from the prefecture... but I think I like Tensei!

I usually don't drink much sake from the Kanto region, but this one was recommended to me, so I tried it. It is moderately spicy and sweet almost at the same time. It has a good weight and is easy to drink.

I drank it warmed. It has an amazake-like aroma, a slight sweetness, and a spiciness that spreads at the same time. As it cools down, the light sweetness comes and goes again. I feel like an expert now that I have realized how good it tastes 🤣.

At the Scarlett's Banquet At last year's craft saké, we drank this and said, "What is this? I've never tasted anything like it!" I was shocked by the taste. It is a refreshing doburoku, and after drinking it, you can feel the minty taste coming out of your nose. I would rather drink this by itself all the time than with a meal...

At the Shojo Banquet I liked this one the best among all the sake I drank from Heiroku. Maybe because it is the closest to the sake I usually drink. It was delicious and easy to match with meals.

Today I wanted a dry sake that wasn't too spicy, so I went with this one. Sometimes I feel that the sake I usually drink is too sweet. Today is it. Maybe I'm tired... Oh, it's because I drank it yesterday too, lol. The aroma is not strong, but it is dry with a delicious flavor, and the aroma of rice leaves your nose. It is also easy to drink and delicious. A little heavier might be more to my taste.
