Today was my day off, and I went to Kawagoe for a quick grocery shopping trip.
I had bukkake udon and toriten (chicken tempura) at an udon restaurant that I had been curious about.
I bought a 180 ml bottle of Junmai Daiginjo from Bunraku in Ageo at Koedo Kurari.
It is not particularly interesting because it is fire-aged, but it has an orthodox and calm taste, with a smoothness and moderate umami that reminds us of the merit of 40% polished Yamada-Nishiki.
Moderately sweet, tasty, juicy and easy to drink, compatible with a light finish.
It is wonderful to be able to drink a 300ml bottle of this quality outside at this price!
As one would expect from the Northwest Brewery, this is a very cost-effective sake!
4.25
Easy to drink with low alcohol content of 10%.
Lightly cloudy with a refreshing yogurt-like taste.
After opening the bottle, a little sourness may have appeared the next day.
But I personally enjoyed it.
I am looking forward to drinking the rest!
When I buy sake, I consult with the store staff and am happy when I find a sake that I like!
Let's talk about it again!
Well, I bought 2 bottles of Bunraku and I wanted to compare them 🤗, but I got this one a week later on Sunday 😅.
I would have liked to compare them 🤗, but it was a week later on Sunday 😅.
And here's a bottle of 16 degrees Celsius, which was also purchased by a member of the prefecture, Mr. Ars, whom I met by chance.
I'll make love to you now 😅
The aroma is citrusy...
I'm sorry 😓I cheated on Ars's post 🫣I don't really remember 🫠.
But the taste was kind of 🤔I thought the sourness came first and then the sweetness wrapped it up, but then it went away with the bitterness 😌It was like the richness came when I mixed the oli 🙄... 🙄.
People's memory is like this 🫥.
Please see HinaHanaMama's post for the correct one 👐.
I'll have to keep a proper record 📝 of what I drink or I'll be on cheat parade 🤭.
By the way, when I was talking to the young man who helped us, I found out that he and his father went to the same high school as our kids 😳 We weren't classmates, but we had a lot of fun talking about the old days🤗.
I still have 4 more posts to go 😅I'll keep working on my writing!
Dear Jay & Nobby
Good evening😊
You forget to review when you drink outside 💦.
I understand 😅
But when I saw Jay & Nobby's review
I thought it tasted like that when I saw your review 😊.
Good morning, Jay & Nobby 😀
My memory is much better lax, I think I even forgot that I drank 2 weeks ago 🤣.
I like Sairai and have had it a few times, but I haven't gotten my hands on Bunraku yet😅.
Good morning, Jay & Nobby 😃.
Thanks for posting Bunraku 😊Thanks for the timeline 🤔I used my brain 🤣Tastes are so easy to forget 💦I remember... bitter and astringent... I wonder if it was good for your palates 🥺 I worry 💧.
Good morning, Jay & Nobby😄.
So these were the two bottles you bought at the tasting 😁.
I think it would be fun to compare them 🥳.
It's been a while since I've had a Bunraku 🤗
Hi Jay & Nobby 😃
It's easy to forget 😅I also forget easily so last time I wrote it down on an app 😆 Bunraku is a sake I'd like to try but it's not sold near me, I'd like to go buy it when I have time!
Hi Jay & Nobby!
I often forget the taste when I write a review later, so I leave a note on my phone right after I drink ✨.
But I have a problem that the more notes I take at offline meetings, the less time I have to talk to everyone 💦.
Jay & Nobby, good evening ^_^.
Beautiful looking sake, including the label✨
I came back after seeing HinaHanaMama's review.
HinaHanaMama's seemed a bit.....................................
Jay & Nobby, that verse, lol.
I thought your story on the spot was like that, but your exchange was becoming a comic one. lol I'm waiting for the rest of your writings (^o^)
Jay & Nobby Good evening😄It's true that if you don't keep track of what you drink, you really forget 😅I actually attended a sake event the other day, but I couldn't remember the taste at all... I gave up on raising it (crying).
Mr. Jay & Mrs. Nobby
Good evening.
Ahhh I know what you mean! I'm a little too lazy to post if I haven't saved up my drink and left my eyes... 😅 No no no! It's not a chore 🤩 it's a bit of a hassle... 🤣
The notepad on my phone app is handy 😁.
Hi Rururun 😃
I forget even when I drink at home 😅When I drink outside, I start from 'did I drink this ⁉️' 🤣I'd be happy if you could pass on a piece of my memory 😄.
Hi HinaHanaMama, thanks for the help 😃.
I used my head for the post 🧐 Maybe it helped to prevent blurriness 😁.
Don't worry ‼️ it was perfect for our mouths👍😋!
Hi Hiro 😃
Yes, I am....................! It was Kuratasan with this on his back 😄 We didn't drink together, so it's a drinking comparison in my memory... not very credible 🤣.
Gyve, I'm with you 😃.
I don't always make notes📝😅I often find that if I don't write immediately I don't remember 🙄 even though it's both of our memories 🙄 memories are different 😑😆.
Hey Koizo, I'm with you 😃.
The phone note 📝 just said 'choi bitter'... no it doesn't help like which sake is ⁉️ 😆 I knew I had to raise it right away 😅.
I haven't been able to do any writing 📑, so the 🥲 order will have to come later 😅.
Time goes back to ⌛️... two Saturdays ago when a lot was happening! As I mentioned in my previous post, this was the day of Bunraku's tasting at a nearby liquor store that I always drive to😙.
We took the bus 🚌 and walked 🚶 out to drink and arrived at the store sweating 💦!
No one from the brewery was there that day, but a young couple from the liquor store was there to help us... "Would you like a tasting?" Yes! That's why we came by bus and on foot 🤗" We exchanged greetings 😁Started tasting 😁‼️
Four different tastings in three bottles 😋I knew I wouldn't buy any of them 😆I enjoyed tasting mainly the expensive Junmai Daiginjo Namazume 😚 I'm a commoner who feels expensive is good 😅.
Sun Citron was available in two varieties, regular and one year aged, but I was easily caught by the phrase "only a few of the aged ones left" and got it👍!
I'll make love to you 🤔
First of all, the aroma... I don't remember 😑.
I can't remember ἑ I took a sip...yeah! I remember it has a very strong apricot flavor 😋.
I think the aging process may have increased the depth of the flavor!
Continue to the next Bunraku
Good evening, Jay & Nobby!
I understand your reaction to "there are only a few left to mature" 😁✨✨
My wife always recommends it when it's running low or selling best 🤣.
I haven't tried the aged sake but I get the impression it would be a good debut 😊.
Good evening, Jay & Nobby 😃.
I believe few left and limited are the magic words 😁.
Tastings are great, aren't they?
I always have to backtrack 📜 because all I have to do to get liquor is drive.
Good morning Jay & Nobby😃Wow! I see you got the ripe ones 🤩The apricots look better😍This year's were tangerine peel 🍊 bitter from what I remember... 💦I'm relieved to hear that the apricots were good 🤣I hope I recommended them to you 😮💨
Jay & Nobby, good morning 😃I've never eaten apricots before when I think about it🤔or maybe I have🤣Memories are like that, but it's still great to be able to make a drink that will be remembered even if only a little 🥰I want to drink Bunraku 🤤.
Hi Jay & Nobby, hello here too ☀.
Each concept of the "Bunraku Reborn" series is pretty interesting ✨
The fruity citrus acidity image, seems to be addictive to the current gloomy season 🥰.
Hi Jay & Nobby 🐦.
Thank you for your hard work in the heat 💦I would work hard even if it cost me time and money when it comes with a tasting 😁 And you chose the one you can't buy the tasting! I always have a hard time deciding 😂.
Hi Hina Hana Mama 😃
I tasted them all 😋 and to be honest I couldn't really tell the difference 😆 they were light and easy to drink with an apricot feel 😋.
Hi Nao888 😃
It's true that I don't eat apricots as a fruit😅Yes, I don't remember what I had for dinner the night before yesterday! I don't even remember what I had for dinner the night before yesterday 😆 but I do remember the drinks I had 😁.
Hi Jive 😃
I looked at the label when you mentioned it😅You're right, it might be perfect to drink in an air-conditioned room at this time of the year...
Hi Pon 😃
Yes, I'm so glad to hear that! I was looking forward to it, I marked it on my home calendar 🗓️ 🤗I decided to buy it first this time 😅I'm going to focus on the expensive ones 😁.
Hi Koizo 😃
I like the thrill of buying 💓 without drinking, but it's safer to buy when you know what you're getting 😋I try to write it down too, but I tend to focus on drinking 😅.
Jay & Nobby, I see you went for aged! I've been wanting to get into that realm too, but I haven't found the courage yet 😅 There's a liquor store near me that has aged and I've been pretending not to look at it... 😅 coooooooooooooo, stepping in here is too deep and scary 😨.
Hi Sasuyuu 😃
I've only been maturing for a year 😅If this goes to a more advanced level, it could be bad 😆.
If you add depth to depth, you're in the labyrinth 🤗
Attended a high-end sake party at my usual bar!
We enjoyed the pairing with a course meal.
The third was Bunraku, boiled abalone and red bell pepper mousse.
Smooth, nice aroma, amame? Easy to drink.
The bitter taste of the paprika was a nice accent.
It's a crazy English label. It's kind of awesome.
First of all, the smell...WoW!
WoW! It's sour when you include it! This is lemon. Interesting!
It was like rice cooked in a rice cooker with rice and lemon.
It was a refreshing and tasty drink!
I finally opened Bunraku, which I purchased on my GW trip to Kanazawa.
The strong schwash is just right for the recent heat👍.
It's light and juicy, but also dry.
This is my favorite ❤️
Good evening, Wakata!
Ooh! I see you got Bunraku's CWS in Kanazawa ‼️ It's pretty low al 😳 This looks easy to drink 😍Northwest Shuzo is popular with Sairai and has good cosmetics, no complaints 🙌
Hi HinaHanaMama, good evening 😃Yes, it was an easy drinking gobble of no complaints 👍CWS is a handful and I'm drawn to them when I see them because they are all so good 😆.
Bunraku Reborn Raindrop Special Junmai Unfiltered Nama Sake
Raindrop" is an expression of "Ori"? How fashionable is that?
Slightly gassy, sour and sweet, with a green apple aroma.
Drinking it during the rainy season made me feel refreshed!
