Thanks again for all your hard work today: ☺️
I'm going back to Kobe this Sat. and Sun. 🚗.
My father-in-law, who had been in poor health for a long time, passed away before Christmas in December, and we had a 49th ☘️
He had been fighting an illness for about 2 years, and just as I was thinking that he might be able to make it through the year 2024 after enduring a number of dangerous situations.
He was 60 years old very early, but he really loved my son and thanked me many times for letting him see him 🙇.
With happy memories of drinking together, this is the sake we drank on the night of his 49th birthday: ☺️
I bought it at a local liquor store and brought it with me: ☺️
Unfortunately, my father-in-law was not a sake drinker at all 😅we used to drink together really well before he got sick: ♥️
I don't often write down what I drink, but Sake-no-wa is becoming like a diary for me 😅
Jun, I am sorry to hear about your father-in-law 🙏.
We will miss him so much. I'm sure he's glad in heaven that you're remembering him this way✨
Is it both 🍍 and 🍐 flavors? I've been wondering about that but never went through with it😅
Hi Jun 😃
60 years old...too soon 😥I'm so sorry for your loss 😔I'm so happy to see your grandson 🥺I'm deeply moved when I compare it with my own.
We definitely have a high ratio of Sake no Wa diary📓😅.
Good evening, Pon, ☺️
Thank you 🙇 He really was a grandfather who loved his grandchildren and I feel like he is always watching over me 🌠.
Hmmm, I think it wasn't 🍍🤣 but it is fruity 🥰.
Good evening, J&N. ☺️It was a really quick goodbye 😢 Still, I hope your father-in-law has happy memories of his life, his son's marriage and meeting his grandchildren. ☘️
I always enjoy reading your diary, J&N. ♥️
Good evening, Jun-san. I am deeply sorry to hear about your father-in-law. I am sure that he loved and looked forward to drinking with you and your grandchildren, Jun-san, who cannot drink. They were happy. May he rest in peace.
Hello, Jun-san.
I am so sorry to hear about your father-in-law.
What a great memory to have had a drink with my parents while they were still alive ✨.
I'm making an opportunity to drink with both of my dads because I too need to drink while I still can 🍶.
What is it, soy sauce? Apple? I can't come up with a tasty analogy, but it has a nice aroma.
When you put it in your mouth, you will feel a nice taste! A good balance of sweetness and sourness! The umami that follows afterwards is also fluffy. Anyway, it is delicious. I want to drink the others.
I was a little scared when I opened the bottle because it popped a little. Sake is fun!
This is good, the aroma, bitterness, and acidity are strong, but they are well integrated, or rather, they are all balanced with a zing, and the freshness is outstanding.
The freshness is outstanding.

Kamaboko (fish cake) and Matsumae pickles,
along with the rest of the Osechi (New Year's feast)
We had it with the rest of the Osechi-style dishes.
It was the last of the New Year's spirit. Yum!
