Yasubeyes' warehouse opening party (15)
A fashionable stag beetle was also served. We were told that it would gush with shuwashu, so we carefully opened the bottle even though we were drunk.
◉Senkou x UNITED ARROWS UA: Stag Beetle with Bubbles
It has a shuwa shuwa mouthfeel and not so much sweetness. It is quite dry. You can drink it with a gulp because it's so shwashy.
The one I had before was very much like a honey lemon, but I didn't have that image this time.
The moment you put it in your mouth, you will feel a moderate sourness centered on sweetness. The taste is not lingering, but disappears quickly. The taste makes you want to roll it around in your mouth. It is delicious.
Recommended by a liquor store in Hankyu Rokko.
Purchased from sake qoobe in Yokote, Akita.
This is my first classic Sentori.
When I first started drinking sake, I drank Modern Sentori Kame no O. It is the Sentori Kame no O that got me hooked on sake.
I drank Modern Sentori a while ago, so if you ask me what the difference is, it would be the lactic acidity.
Both are Ichi style and fire-aged, so they have a stable and clear taste, but there is a lactic acidity before the sourness and sweetness that is typical of Sengoku, and that is the flavor that supports the whole taste.
To put it bluntly, it is a modern wine to be enjoyed during a meal, and a classic wine to be enjoyed on its own. I think that if you like Sentori, you can enjoy it either way...
First time drinking the back - sparkler.
Never drank the front either. LOL.
It is said to be an origami version of sparkler.
I bought it because it was the last Saturday in August and I wanted to feel the end of summer.
The aroma is mild but the mouthfeel fruity and sweet.
The aftertaste is citrusy, bitter and juicy.
When paired with a meal, the refreshing citrus sweetness stands out more than the sweetness.
The label is also beautiful.
Sentori has a characteristic acidity that I was not fond of, but this one was easy to drink.
It is not too sweet and has a clear taste.
I guess the end of summer is near.
★★★★
Seika again. I took the liberty of bringing it in ^_^
I heard it was a stag spray, but I didn't know it was as good as this ⤵︎
It is very hard to open the package. ^_^
Sake of the Day 🍶.
I've always been curious about this one, nice to meet you! Sengoku
The mellow sweetness spreads out and the aroma that passes through the nose and the aftertaste is delicious all the way through.
The aroma that comes through to the nose and the aftertaste is always delicious 🥺.
Happy weekend!
Thank you Sentori💞!
Tonight, grilled saury from Nemuro 😌.
Comparison
From right: First, Snowman, Snake (Kijoshu Nigori)
On the left: Junmai Ginjo-Nama Nama Sake Tachiharu Asa Shibori
I like sweet sake, so I thought Snake was also delicious, but I like Snowman.
Firmly effervescent. Muscat-like aroma. Less sweet than expected. The sourness and a little bitterness are effective and refreshing. The atmosphere is quite different from that of Kabutomushi.
Senkori No Bourbon Barrel Aged
Yellow hue.
Acetic nuances of oxidation with aging nuances of banana, cooked rice, soy sauce, coffee, Shaoxing wine and mushrooms.
The attack is strong.
There is a hint of sweetness, a firm acidity, and a strong bitterness.
It is a sake that I would not drink on its own, but it went very well with the French pairing.
