On Sake Day, I, of course, toasted to my daughter's favorite, Houken 🎉. Houken is a delicious light and dry sake, but this one was heavier than usual, but still refreshingly dry and so delicious! It was just like they say, "up in the fall" 🍁🍄🌰 ⤴︎ ⤴︎ We prepared oden (a kind of stew) and fried oysters from Hiroshima that we prepared from the day before, but the best was paired with white fish sashimi 🥰. As a beginner who has only been in love with sake for 6 months, I'm really enjoying reading and learning from your posts! I will keep drinking sake while taking care of my health 💓

Smelled great as soon as I opened it and when I drank it, it was a little schwishy and delicious 😊. I had heard that it goes well with Chinese food like dumplings! I had heard that it goes well with dumplings and other Chinese food so I tried it but it wasn't what I imagined lol It's a delicious drink but I think I would have preferred beer with the dumplings! I have a feeling it would go well with shrimp chili and fried chicken, so I'm going to try it again tonight 🔥. I heard that today, October 1, is "Sake Day"! It's the first sake day since I got into sake! I can't wait for tonight's dinner and I can't stop being excited! LOL! What kind of sake will you be drinking 🥰?

I purchased a bottle of Ozawa Shuzojo's "Jyukyu" at the Hasegawa Sake Shop, which I had wanted to try! I was told that this sake can be enjoyed crisp and refreshing with ice on it during this time of year when autumn sakes are available but the lingering summer heat is still lingering. I had it well chilled! It was fruity and slightly sour with just the right amount of sweetness. ☺️ The polar bear label is also cute! I just read the blog of this brewery, I read on the brewery's blog that they will be reducing production and raising the price due to the rising price of sake rice. It would be sad if such a delicious sake becomes difficult to obtain 🥲I still have some left, so I will savor it and enjoy it carefully!

I was so excited to find a cup of Kamerei sake because I had drunk it before and it was so good! The taste is light and dry and you can tell it was made with good water😍. I bought 3 of them and regretted that I should have bought more! LOL! I would like to try other sake made by Kamerei Shuzo!

It was the lightest Sentori I have ever had. It was fruity, sweet and sour, and had the aroma (vocabulary 🥲) that I know and love about Sengoku! The name "sparkler" is perfect for this sake! The sense of taste is superb! I wanted to try it with a variety of snacks, so I enjoyed it with sea bream sashimi, prosciutto ham, cream cheese, and for the first time in years, fried tempura (lol), kisses and vegetable tempura, which were both Japanese and Western flavors that were delightfully delicious ♡. After the second day, it became richer and even more to my liking, and was very tasty!

As the name suggests, it tastes like ripe apples! Sweet and juice like. I think I prefer the refreshing Kouji apple of summer sake 😆.

It was my first time, Amami 🫶. When I opened the bottle, I was surprised to hear the cork pop! I was so surprised when the cork flew open and I yelled out "wow" and was surprised twice by my own voice. My impression after drinking it was that it was sweet and delicious! It had a nice piquancy and a muscat-like aroma. It also has a delicious aftertaste. It went well with mozzarella cheese! On the second day, the taste was more subdued than on the opening day; I liked it better on the second day! It definitely goes well with scallop carpaccio, that's for sure! I went to the supermarket to buy some scallops, but they didn't have any scallop sashimi... but they had sushi, so I bought some. Unfortunately, it didn't go with the scallop sushi😭I'll have to revisit this one!
