Sweet aroma. Fresh and sweeter than expected. Unique sweetness like candy. Unique but interesting and delicious. The sweetness is like a floppy candy. More fruity than I expected, too. I think the Asahi Nikki Jusui Brewing I drank in the past also had a unique sweetness.

Sakemonogatari in Kansai(*) It is a hiyaoroshi of honjozo with a slightly sweet taste and a sense of grain! It is well balanced, probably because it is a honjozo. I would definitely like to drink it with an appetizer! The rice used is Gohyakumangoku and Nihonbare. If I had to describe it in one word, I would say it's "Omnivorous Japanese Sake Partridge". It has an old-fashioned flavor and an aged feeling like a hiyaoroshi. Spicy and sweet in equal measure, with a long finish. It's a sake that should be served warm. By the way, it's "Hiyaoroshi", but it's shipped all year round.

I learned of the existence of this sake through non non's post. It was a little difficult to go there because you can only buy it at the direct sales place which is open only on weekdays.... It was a nice homey sake brewery 😊. It was limited to 100 bottles and they were the last 3 bottles. It's shwashy, sweet and sour. It may be a daiginjo, but it doesn't taste like yamahai and is easy to drink.

Like Minatoya Toisuke, this is another brand of Murasuke that I bought because I liked it after tasting it at Ponshu-kan in Echigo Yuzawa. There are many liquor stores that sell Murasuke in Tokyo, but I had never seen this brand before. As its name suggests, it's low in alcohol content at 13%, so it's easy to drink 😚. When you drink it cold, it's light and refreshing, with no hint of bitterness. It's delicious in its own right, but when it's chilled at a cooler temperature, it becomes sweeter and more impressive. I liked it best when it was chilled in the wine cellar at about 15 degrees Celsius 😄. It's interesting to see how it changes with the temperature, but in any case, it's a different direction from the sweet and sour fruity Murasuke. I think it's a fine sake that won't go with any snacks 😋

The best thing about this product is the fact that it is made in Indonesia. I'm not sure if I've had enough, so I opened this bottle, but my face is starting to go numb 🤪 lol

Ibaraki Pref. Sashima-gun. Hagiwara Sake Brewery Co. Toku-masamune Junmai-shu. We received a set of seven single-bottle bottles, so we will drink them. Here is the sixth bottle. I didn't think I could drink it again since I drank it at the Japanese Sake Festival. I will drink it cold. The color is clear with a yellowish tinge. The nose has a slightly ripe fruity aroma with hints of honey and caramel. On the palate, a slight ripeness aroma passes through to the nose, followed by a gentle Junmai-like dry acidity. It has a slightly aged feel, with concentrated umami, a chocolate-like flavor, and a faded brown rice-like aftertaste that lingers on the tongue. Nice Masamune that has matured quite nicely.
