On my way home from ramen at Shingen, I was in a good mood and happened to run into Abe at a liquor store I stopped by. But today was a day off from drinking. I was worried about it, and now I'm here.
Mild and sweet like a lactic acid drink, with a hint of rice flavor after swallowing. It is rare to find a sake with such a strong rice flavor. I am not a fan of sparkling sake, but this is different. It made my mouth happy. It goes well with gyoza.
According to the owner, there are only a few liquor stores in Hokkaido that distribute this sake, and there are only two other stores left in Hokkaido.

Smooth and sweet like a white peach, with a slight acidity. It is relatively clear, but has a rich sweetness that spreads in the mouth. It feels like that.
I went to the liquor store I usually go to and bought it. When I came to the store, there was no price tag on it, and apparently they were preparing it for tomorrow. I asked if I could buy it, and they gladly agreed.

I heard it tasted like ramune and managed to buy it. There were only bottles available, so I bought a bottle. I thought I would drink it in small portions, but I finished it in two days.
It was refreshing and sweet, with just the right amount of gasiness, and it was definitely rummy! The more you drink, the stronger the sweetness of the rice becomes.
I am glad I drank it!

That special Junmai and Yamadanishiki from that Tasake company. It had to be delicious.
The texture is mellow, but with a hint of sourness. The rice flavor and fruity taste is the best.
I thought I was looking forward to tomorrow night's dinner, but then I realized it was gone...
Looks like my rice wine was stolen early in the new year🍶.
