This November, Kumamoto Prefecture and Umeda commercial facilities are collaborating with each other, so I came to Umeda today to drink Kumamoto Prefecture's sake🍶.
We compared three Kumamoto sake at this restaurant.
I have often heard of this sake, but this was my first time to try it.
It was a mellow and delicious cup with a hint of rice flavor. 🙆♂️
It was given to me as a gift.
It looked expensive and delicious. It seemed sweet when opened, but after a while the sweetness subsided and it was a very tasty osake.
Basically, I don't drink much honjozo sake, but I tried a bottle of Kumamoto's Koroh. It has a good balance of umami and acidity, and I thought it would be a very cost-effective sake for drinking at home.
First sake from the recent paid tasting 🍶.
It is a perfect balance of rice flavor and pleasant acidity from fermentation 😋 It was tasted cold, but I'd like to drink it warm.
⚾️ bets, I wonder if I can hit it!

It is rare to have a chance to drink Kumamoto sake, so this is a precious drink for me personally.
It was a drink that went well with horse sashimi.
I thought the label and brand name were unfamiliar, so I asked the owner of the sake shop about it.
The Kumamoto Prefectural Sake Brewing Research Institute, where the No.9 yeast is made, is a place that usually manages yeast and does not usually make a lot of sake, but this time they made sake for the general public 🤔.
I heard that 🤔.
Please let me know if you know more details 😆😆😆.
Well, even though they say they can make good sake with #9 yeast...
It's Kumamoto's sake 😆😆.
I thought it was more like shochu 😂.
↑Totally prejudiced 🤣🤣
I bought it with prejudice!
Oh 😲😲😲😲
It's so delicious 😆⤴️⤴️⤴️
Clean but fruity
Not too much, but light ❣️❣️
Very nice balance 🎶.
I'd like to try type-B too!
Polishing ratio 65
Wow 😮 It's so refreshing you wouldn't believe it's 65%!
Alcohol content 14%.

Hello Rika 😊It's been a long time ❓
I also drank this sake in the summer, in a bottle of course 😁 I remember it was much more fruity and tasty than the label suggests 🤔.
Kan-san Koncha ❣️❣️ 😆 It's been a while since I've been in the sake business 🤣🤣 This is the right bottle 😍🙆I think it's perfect for a food sake ⤴️ I'd like to repeat 🎶👏.
I'm off to planetary exploration (greeting)
So, this is Koro's Planet No. 9!
Sweet and sour, that's all I have to say, and I can afford to buy it (a little bit).
I wonder how different it would be with type-B...?
It has a sweetness at the beginning, but it is not too sweet, and it finishes with a chili feeling, a sourness that is not too strong, and a citrusy aftertaste.
The citrus aftertaste is interesting... my current sensation is a slight taste of Bon Temps candy.
I can't say for sure, since it may change depending on my physical condition, what I had just before, what I ate, and the temperature, but I feel like it's not just sweet and sour, as I feel like I'm drinking it right now!
It's a light drink, so I guess it can go before or after a meal... I like it.
Slow sweetness
There is a little bit of sizzle.
A little bit of alcohol and sweetness in the nose
When served with curry, there was a slight sweetness and a crisp feeling.
Curry stays in the mouth for a long time, but it is refreshing.
KOHRO KOHRO Junmai-shu
Rating 4.5
Alcohol level: 14%, Sake meter: -4.9, Acidity: 1.95, Rice: Japanese, Polishing ratio: 65
This fresh, slightly gassy junmai sake was bottled and heated immediately after the tank was filled. The refreshing acidity from the white malted rice accents the excellent balance of acidity and amino acids. The alcohol content is also low. This low junmai-harakyu is a tropical fruit juice with a quality of sake that does not make you tired of drinking.
