The fifth tasting at Yamanaka Sake Shop was Ishizuchi Shuzo's Ishizuchi Hiyoroshi Special Junmai. First, the aroma. The aroma is not so strong. When you put it in your mouth, it has a smooth mouthfeel. Then the spiciness rushes in. I felt it was quite spicy. However, it was very easy to drink because it was smooth and thick from start to finish. I thought it would be even more delicious with a meal.

The third tasting at Yamanaka Sake Shop was a little omachi from Tohoku Izumi by Takahashi Sake Brewery. First, the aroma. The aroma is not so strong. The mouthfeel is smooth and mild. When you put it in your mouth, sweetness, bitterness, and spiciness arrive together with a hint of spiciness. It is smooth to the last mouthful, and the lingering bitterness is delicious. This was my favorite sake in the tasting, but afterwards, I talked with the waiter and purchased another sake that he recommended, so I felt that someday I would like to drink it at home slowly.

Today I went to see the Kaze no Mori WEEKS venue that started at Daimaru Shinsaibashi and Parco. The purpose of the visit was to see the limited-edition sake available at the venues. Since I was in Minami, I went to Yamanaka Sake Shop, which I had wanted to visit. I had visited Ekimarche Osaka several times, but this was my first time to visit the store in Daikoku-cho, and I was looking forward to it. I had a great time just looking at the many sake on display in the three stock rooms at different temperatures 🎵. After paying the bill, I was told that there was a free tasting, so I took the opportunity to try a few different kinds. The first tasting at Yamanaka Sake Shop was the Toyo Bijin Jyundo Isshu from Sumikawa Sake Brewery, which I have had many times this year. This time it was Hashu Honor Junmai Ginjo. The aroma was sweet. Again, the sweetness is well expressed and delicious. It has a light spiciness, and the mouthfeel is mellow and very easy to drink.

We only watched the Mid-Autumn Moon and the full moon on the following day from the balcony with our spouses, but we will have a cup of sake prior to the Kaze no Mori WEEKS which starts tomorrow. Today's sake is a special version of the sake brewed this winter for the Kaze no Mori WEEKS, which was pressed and stored at an ice temperature of minus 5 degrees Celsius. We will be drinking Kaze no Mori WEEKS 2024 Yamadanishiki 357 Midori by Aburacho Shuzo. Let's start with the aroma. First, the aroma. Not much of an aroma. When you put it in your mouth, you will feel a chirichiri-stimulation - I like this feeling. The bitterness reaches the back of the throat first, and then the sweetness is felt, which is a complex taste that I also like. The sweet bitterness is followed by umami, and the aftertaste is refreshingly sweet and salty. I always wonder why sake is so delicious, and every time I drink it, I am always in bliss.

Yesterday I went to a drinking party with a couple of mutual friends. Whenever I drink with them, I always take the last train 🚃. After we got home, I had not had enough to drink, so my wife and I decided to have a little drink. I wondered what to drink, and this is what I chose. This was the first sake from the brewery we had ever had after learning about it at Sake-no-Wawa. It is Sawaya Matsumoto Moribari Junmai Daiginjo by Matsumoto Shuzo. Let's start with the sake. First, the aroma. It has a slightly sweet aroma. When you put it in your mouth, you will feel a slight sweetness with a hint of a chilli chilli sensation. After that, a refreshing spiciness spreads to the back of the throat, followed by a bitter taste. It seems to be very well-balanced. The mouthfeel is smooth and easy to drink. This is delicious. I thought it was a very good sake to drink with meals.

Today I am in the mood for fish. So I chose this sake to go with the fish. I chose the Yuki no Bijin Ippozumi from Akita Brewery. This is the first sake from this brewery that I have ever had. I have wanted to try this sake for quite some time, so I am looking forward to it. First, the aroma. It has a refreshing, slightly citrusy aroma. It smells fresh and citrusy. When you put it in your mouth, it has a refreshing taste. It has a slight sweetness and umami. It also has a slightly floral flavor. The bitter taste is then quickly followed by a pungent spiciness, which flows smoothly. The aftertaste is salty with a bit of spiciness. It is very refreshing with a slight bitterness. The mouthfeel is very smooth and does not interfere with the food. It is not sweet and delicious, which I like, but it is a very delicious sake, and today is another blissful evening.

I wasn't planning on drinking today, but I couldn't help myself. So, today is my first time to drink sake from a brewery. It is a 3-grain Aizan Hi-iri sake from Daimine Shuzo. I had seen Oomine's sake at Sakegawa and thought it looked delicious, so I finally got my hands on some. Now, let's have it right away. First, the aroma. It smells like a fresh ginjo aroma. When you put it in your mouth, you feel the sweetness, but then you immediately feel the bitterness, and after that, the bitterness spreads slowly. Then, in the second half, there is a lingering spiciness in the back of the throat - and in the spiciness lingering in the back of the throat, there is a fruity citrus flavor that is also very nice. Overall, I did not feel much acidity, and felt that it was a strong drink with a strong mouthfeel, making it very drinkable. Sake is delicious, and I had a blissful time this evening as well.

The second drink at my favorite yakitori restaurant was my first sake from a brewery. It was Otokoyama Honten's Kesennuma Otokoyama Nanbu-style dry sake. Again, the waitress told me that it was not to my liking, but..., But I took it right away. First, the aroma. The aroma is not so strong. When you put it in your mouth, you can feel the traditional sake flavor. However, it is not only sake-like, but also has a slight sweetness and a complex flavor unique to junmai (pure rice). The mouthfeel is smooth, and the spiciness finishes it off quickly, so it goes well with food and is very easy to drink. It was a sake that made me realize that there are many different ways to enjoy sake.

My wife and I went to Body Maintenance today. I am the only one who goes to the chiropractor a few times a year, but I go with my wife for the rubdown. This time I felt more pain than usual, but I felt much better afterwards🍀. After maintenance, for the second week in a row, we went to our favorite yakitori restaurant. So, my first drink at my favorite yakitori restaurant was Jikin Mie Yamadanishiki Hi-iri from Kiyamasa Shuzo. This is the first time to drink this label. First, the aroma. It has a slightly sweet aroma 🎵. The aroma is very mild and the mouthfeel is super smooth compared to other Jigin I've had ✨. Then, in the second half, I felt a slight spiciness and bitterness, and the balance was excellent! The image of this Jigin is more simple than previous Jigin, but no matter what, it was still a Jigin that was delicious and made me feel blissful 😊.

I am quite tired today. Here's something good to drink 🎵. So, this is the second time for me to try Naeba Sake Brewery's Kusu-Mori. This time it was Junmai Daiginjo. The last junmai ginjo was very tasty, so I'm looking forward to this one as well. Let's start with the aroma. First, the aroma. It has a refreshing yogurt-like aroma. When you put it in your mouth, you will feel a nice stimulation. Then comes the sweetness, followed by a refreshing citrusy taste - delicious. There is a slight bitterness, and it is not only sweet, but it is very easy to drink and you will gobble it up. It has a yogurt-like aroma, and the fruity aftertaste is refreshing and very tasty. I think the bitterness is a little more pronounced when it is mixed with orikagashi. Today, too, my body and mind were filled with delicious sake. ⤴️

The second drink at our favorite yakitori restaurant was Toyo Bijin Jyundo Isshu from Sumikawa Sake Brewery, which has been delicious in every way so far. This time it was Hakutsuru Nishiki. Hakutsuru-nishiki may be the first sake rice I have ever had. The skewers of fried negimasu and scorpionfish, which the owner kindly served us, were also excellent! We are always grateful to the owner. I am always grateful to him. First, the aroma. The aroma is not so strong. What is impressive in the mouth is the sweetness. It is also delicious. I think I felt the sweetest taste among all the Toyo Bijin so far. The sweetness with umami, without much bitterness or pungency, is a source of bliss. Sake really is the best.

Yesterday, on the last day of August, I received a line from the owner of my favorite yakitori restaurant with a picture of this sake, and I was worried about a typhoon, but the weather was calm again today, so I visited the restaurant. So, the first drink at our favorite yakitori restaurant was Nabeshima Summer Moon by Tomikuchiyo Sake Brewery. It's been a while since I've had Nabeshima. When I uncorked the bottle, it made a nice popping sound. Then, let's have it right away. The aroma is like a faint ginjo aroma. When I put it in my mouth, I felt a refreshing sweetness - it was already delicious. After that, you will feel a spiciness, followed by a soft bitterness that will finish you off. After much thought about what to have today after work, I decided to have my first sake from the brewery today, Rosé no Yukidoke by Ryujin Shuzo. I wondered if it was a bit odd. But the color was so beautiful that I decided to give it a try and got it. So, let's have it right away. Pouring it into the glass, I found a beautiful rosé color. It is made with red sake yeast. First, the aroma. Smoky aroma? It is an aroma I have never experienced before. When you put it in your mouth, it tastes sweet. There is also a faint smoky aroma. The mouthfeel is smooth, so it is not a sticky sweetness. There is also a slight citrus aftertaste. The sweetness increases as the temperature rises. It is very good for a tired body. It is a good sake to drink as a dessert.

It looks like a normal sparkling wine. When you open the bottle, it makes a nice popping sound. When I poured it into a glass, it was bubbly bubbly bubbly bubbly bubbly bubbly! Let's enjoy the wine right away. First, the aroma. It has a sweet aroma. When you put it in your mouth, you get a dry impression with a bitter taste. After that, you will feel a slight sweetness, followed by a spiciness, and then the bitter taste will finish you off with a freshness. The sweetness increases as the temperature rises a little, and the aroma changes in various ways, making it enjoyable to the fullest 🎵. We were able to spend a blissful time with sake today as well 😊.

I am soooo tired today. Tomorrow is my day off. So, after much agonizing over which sake to have today, I decided to have Houou Mita Mikumari by Kobayashi Sake Brewery! I decided to have Hououmida Mikumari by Kobayashi Shuzo. I had been looking forward to this sake since it had already been posted on Sake-no-wa. Anyway, I will have it right away. When I opened the bottle, I heard a sizzling sound. I was a little panicked, but it was only a sound, so I was relieved. When I poured it into the glass, I was surprised to see the vibrant foamy bubbles 🎵. First, the aroma. A fresh and sweet aroma, When I put it in my mouth, it had a refreshing sweetness that was not too strong! At first I thought there would be no spiciness, but there is a slight spiciness, followed by a bitterness that spreads quickly, creating a great balance. This is delicious. It's too good ✨ I can't stop drinking 🎵 Mikumari made my pre-holiday bliss even more blissful 😊.

My wife and I saw a movie today. We had a late reservation and were in the very front for the first time in a long time, but we had a good time. We could have gone out to eat, but we decided to eat at home today, so we went shopping and came home🚃. I bought a bottle of sake from a brewery that was new to me since I started Sake-no-Wa. Ichinozo's happy yellow Suzune. I had had Suzune on a trip to Matsushima, and I think it was the first sparkling sake I had ever had in my life. It is not the same Suzune I had on that trip, but I will have it soon, soaking up the memories of how much fun I had in Matsushima. First, the aroma. It has a refreshing aroma. When poured into a glass, it has a beautiful yellow color with a fizzy taste that stimulates the desire to drink 🎵. In the mouth, it has a refreshing sweetness - like Oronamin C? The color of the wine is pulling you in, lol. Sweet is sweet, but not sticky, with a hint of sourness, so it's very refreshing 😊. Well, it was another blissful drinking experience today✨
