Yesterday, my parents and I went out drinking, which is becoming a regular event. From the usual izakaya of my parents' memories to the second one, we had a great time for more than 6 hours this time! It was a great time for my father and I to see them eating and drinking so much and enjoying each other's company. This weekend we had our favorite sake, Jikin by Kiyamasa Shuzo! This time it was Junmai Ginjo Hachitan Nishiki Nama! I was very impressed with Hachitan-nishiki when I had the first hi-iru sake last year! It is a precious sake given to me by the owner of my favorite yakitori restaurant on New Year's. I will enjoy it! The first day of drinking! First, the aroma. First of all, there is a sweet aroma. It is sweet and fruity on the palate. However, it is not overly sweet. Slightly bitter and refreshingly slightly pungent - a gradual gradation of sweetness. The lingering fruity sweetness is irresistible! After all, Jikin-sama is delicious! The second day When you put it in your mouth, you can feel the sweetness and savory richness. The fruity aroma that passes through the nose is irresistible! The lingering taste is slightly bitter and pungent. The third day Today, the sweetness is stable. The taste is much milder and more refreshing. It was well-balanced and not too sweet all the way through, and it was a very enjoyable sake time!

The end of the fiscal year is a busy time for many things. This week I am feeling tired. I want to drink a sweet drink. So, here is my first sake from a new brewery! Yamamoto Sake Brewery's Yamamoto! This time it's their 123rd anniversary sake! I love kijoshu, but was it a good choice for my first sake from a brewery? I am still a little skeptical.., But, let's have it right away! The first day First, the aroma. It has a fresh citrusy sweet aroma. When you put it in your mouth, it is refreshingly sweet! The lingering aftertaste is refreshing, so it seems a little less like a kijo-zake. The slight bitterness and fruity flavor that comes on top of it also contribute to its freshness. It was a delicious sake that soaked into my tired body. The second day It's sweet and fruity again today! The sweetness is even more pronounced than yesterday, but the fruity taste and the smooth mouthfeel make it very tasty and not too sweet. Today's taste is just sweet and fruity with almost no bitterness. 3rd day Gentle sweetness. The fruity taste is a little weaker, but the beautiful sweetness sinks in. It has become a sake to just enjoy the sweetness without the bitterness. It was my first time to taste Yamamoto's sake, but it was so delicious that I would like to try their regular sake next time!

This is the second time I've had a second drink at my favorite yakitori restaurant, after the last time! Fukurokuju Shuzo's Ichihakusuisei! This time it was Miso Nishiki Junmai Ginjo! The owner said, "You can open the bottle today," even though there was still some other sake left! We really appreciate it! Now, let's enjoy it right away! First, the aroma. It also has a sweet aroma. When you put it in your mouth, you will feel the sweetness, and then the spiciness and bitterness will kick in. The impression is that it is a little spicy, but the mouthfeel is very beautiful and goes well with a meal. It is also delicious! After this, we had two glasses of Jikin and spent a blissful time with delicious chicken dishes and a pleasant atmosphere! This time it was Junmai Ginjo Omachi Nama! Jikin is my favorite sake that got me hooked on the sake swamp, so I look forward to it every time! So, without further ado, let's have it! Slight sweetness, then a firm bitterness. The lingering bitter taste is also strong. The bitterness is a little strong, but it does not interfere with the meal, so it is very easy to drink. The more you drink it, the more the flavor comes through and it is delicious! My wife says it is sweet and easy to drink, so I have the impression that there is still a little discomfort in her sense of taste due to the aftereffects of the Corona. Takachiyo Sake Brewery's 59Takachiyo for the second round of drinks at my favorite yakitori restaurant! This time it was Hana Fubuki! This is the first time for me to drink romaji Takachiyo! So, let's start eating! First, the aroma. Not much of an aroma. When you put it in your mouth, you can taste the sweetness. It is easy to drink with a slight gaseous sensation. The lingering aftertaste is also bitter. I wonder if it is possible to feel such bitterness... I still feel very uncomfortable while drinking it. It is definitely delicious, but this discomfort is bothering me. My wife said that it was sweet with a slight effervescence, but she did not like the taste in the latter half of the bottle.

It was the first time in a long time that the restaurant was moderately crowded during prime time! So, the first drink at our favorite Yakitori restaurant was our first brewery! Fukurokuju Shuzo's Ichihakusuisei! This time it was Junmai Ginjo! So, let's have it right away! First, the aroma. It has a sweet aroma. When you put it in your mouth, you can taste the spiciness and bitterness that come from the sweetness. Although the spiciness and bitterness are strong, the mouthfeel is very clean, so it is easy to drink and does not interfere with the meal. However, maybe it's because it's a Corona Ake, or maybe I'm suffering from hay fever, but I don't feel the umami and gradation of sake that I've experienced in the past, and there is something strange about it. So, without further ado, let's have a glass of Masanochi! First, the aroma. It smells sweet! When you put it in your mouth, it goes from sweet to a beautiful drinking experience. The aroma that passes through the nose is nice. ⤴️ The lingering aftertaste is spicy with a hint of fragrance. The mildly spicy taste is also good. Shichikanma Special Junmai by Hiaukami Seishu! This sake was recommended to us by a local liquor store as it goes well with warmed sake! Let's have it right away! First, the aroma. Not much of an aroma! Cold. In the mouth, you can feel a slight sweetness from the umami. From the mid-palate, a little complexity and a little bitterness. The second drink at Sushi Amato was a brewer's kuheiji from Manjyo Brewery. This time SAUVEGE OMACHI Junmai Daiginjo I remember that the Human by Kuheiji was quite delicious! So, let's have it right away! The first mouthful is an attack of umami! After that, it finishes with complexity and a bit of bitterness. The lingering aftertaste is spicy and complex with a traditional sake feel. It is well worth drinking! My wife thought it was a little dry. My wife thought it was a little dry. I felt that the sweetness of this wine appeared when served with a meal, and I could feel its deliciousness even more. The chawanmushi (steamed egg custard) was also great, with a nice dashi broth and aroma.

My wife and I saw a movie today. This movie is a double feature that straddles the lunch hour! So we had a quick lunch during the previews of the first movie. I have a loose lacrimal gland, so I can cry at almost anything that moves me! After the movie, we had a sushi dinner for the first time in a while! We visited Sushi Atato! It was my first visit! The first drink at Sushi Atato was a sake from a brewery I had never visited before! Wakamiya Sake Brewery's "Dream of a Starry Night They brew only one tank of this sake per year! Well, let's have it right away! Fruity taste in the mouth! A traditional but soft sake taste. A slight sweetness followed by a slight bitterness gradation. The aftertaste is crisp and spicy. The overall impression is gentle and well-balanced, and it goes well with food. Sushi after a long absence - very tasty and a great pairing with sake!

Tsuchiya Sake Brewery's Kame no Umi! This time it was Umakuchi Junmai! The last junmai ginjo was also very good, so I was looking forward to bringing it home! Let's have it right away. First, the aroma. It has a fruity aroma. When you put it in your mouth, it is deliciously sweet and fruity! What is this fruit? My wife and I wondered for a while, It has a slightly complex flavor, a slight pungency, a bitter taste, and a slightly aromatic aftertaste. It is delicious! I kept saying "delicious" every time I drank it! Well, the information from Sake-no-Wa this time was also correct, and we spent a blissful time drinking sake! Day 2 Fruity aroma again today! After running some errands today, I went to a liquor store in Minami to get some drinks. Since we were in Minami, we had just one drink 🍶 before going to the liquor store. So I got a sake from a sake brewery that was new to me, Meite Sake Brewery's Kurogyu! I couldn't say that it was my first time to buy a bottle of sake, but I didn't have a picture of the bottle, and I didn't know the specs either! Anyway, I will have it right away! First, the aroma. Slightly sweet aroma. When you put it in your mouth, your first impression is that it is a beautiful sake. Slightly sweet, with a hint of traditional sake flavor. The sweetness and umami of the rice are left in the mouth while the bitterness and pungency slowly fade away, with only a hint of spiciness. It soaks through! It's incredibly tasty! It may not be flashy, but I really liked the feeling of everything being gentle and sinking in! It went perfectly with the meal! After receiving the sake, we stopped by at Komenohana since we were in Minami and there was another sake that we wanted! The second picture shows the sakes we picked up today!
