And another bottle opened this week! Since there have been a lot of posts about delicious nigori sake lately, I'm going to try a nigori sake today! So today I opened my first bottle of Tenjo Yumegen by Nakayuu Shuzoten, a new brewery to me! This time it was nigori sake! This sake was served at the sake festival held at the Keihan Moriguchi Department Store the other day. We also had this sake at the Kaku-uchi (corner shop) and it was delicious! Let's have it right away! Sumi Sake First, the aroma. It has a fresh aroma with a slight yogurt-like flavor. The sweetness is well balanced by the full-bodied flavor, and the taste is refreshing and clean. It is not too sweet, but it is a rare sweetness, but I like it and it is easy to drink. Nigori Not much aroma. The overall balance is very good, with a silky mouthfeel, a gentle sweetness, a full-bodied taste, a nigori flavor, and a slight bitterness. However, as you continue drinking, it becomes a little sticky around the lips. Warmed to lukewarm. The spiciness and bitterness have become stronger while the silky texture remains the same. It is also delicious with a sense of umami and alcohol. There are many ways to enjoy nigori sake! Today's sake was great, too!

I'm tired again this week. Work has been pretty calm, but no. Well, later this week, I had a sweet and tasty Hanamou from Ryozeki Shuzo! This time it was Yamada Nishiki! When I'm tired, I crave sweet and tasty sake - I'm looking forward to it! Let's enjoy it right away! The first day First, the aroma. It smells fresh and sweet. When you put it in your mouth, the sweetness and bitterness spreads. After that, the sweetness reappears with a full-bodied flavor. The lingering bitter taste spreads slowly and fades away. I have the impression that it is a well-balanced sake with a gorgeous sweetness and the bitterness finishes it off well. However, it feels a little heavy, so I didn't drink much today... I think I'm not feeling well. Day 2 The balance of fruity, refreshing sweetness, bitterness, richness and flavor is as good as yesterday. The overall taste is mild and smooth, and the flavor is well wrapped up and blended in. It soaks into the body. There was no heavy feeling like yesterday, but rather it was easy to drink and delicious, and I finished it in no time! The change over time cannot be underestimated.

The aroma is refreshing and clean. When you put it in your mouth, the umami and sweetness spread quickly. The moment you drink it, you will be satisfied. After that, it shifts to bitterness with a refreshing aftertaste. The richness and saltiness can also be felt slightly at the end. I have the impression that GANKI is a well-balanced and delicious sake. The second day Today's sake is also refreshing and clean. It's hard to describe, but there is a gentle sweetness, and a bitterness that comes through slowly and gradually. Today, my wife and I went to the Saga products exhibition at the Expo Park Monorail Station. There was an event where you could drink alcohol on the monorail, but my wife can't drink that much, so we thought we'd just go to the exhibition. We hadn't had lunch, so we were wondering what we wanted to eat when we heard an announcement that there was a Ramen & Gyoza Expo in the park! So we hurried to the expo to satisfy our hunger, and then we compared 4 kinds of sake at the expo! The CI was a Ko-Imari Mae Junmai Ginjo from the Ko-Imari Sake Brewery, a new brewery to me! Koumu Daiginjo Solitary Gourmet Umami, bitterness and spiciness. It has a good balance. The lingering aftertaste is long and bitter, with a hint of sweetness that makes it easy to drink. Ko-Imari Mae Esperanza It has a clear but unique taste, with a touch of alcohol. The bitterness is strong from the middle part of the bottle, and you may feel a slight pear-like taste at a moment. Koumari Yamadanishiki Clean, fruity and gently sweet. Very easy to drink. The lingering aftertaste is a bitterness. Ko-Imari Mae Junmai Ginjo Umami and sweetness with a slight alcohol taste. The shift from sweetness to bitterness is beautiful. The lingering bitterness is very strong.

The second drink at my favorite yakitori restaurant was drunken whale by Drunken Whale Shuzo! This time it was Ginrei-shiboritate! I'm looking forward to this one as it's also the first time I've had this label! Let's have it right away! First, the aroma. I don't really smell it. When you put it in your mouth, you will feel the stimulation on your tongue, and then the spiciness will shift from the umami to the spiciness. The lingering aftertaste is bitterness. It is delicious! It has a punchy, yet robust umami, with a sweetness in the back that makes you wonder if it's dry? It was so enjoyable that I thought it was dry! My wife doesn't like strong sake. My wife is not a fan of strong sake, so she was a little disappointed after drinking it. The rest of the lineup was the same as last time, so we finished with two glasses of Jikin's Omachi! Today's dishes were also delicious, and we finished off the evening with somen noodles made from the soup that came with the soup... It was a blissful evening for my stomach and my heart!

Yesterday, after work, I was in the mood for something to drink, so I met up with my wife and we went to our usual yakitori restaurant for a drink! So the first drink at our favorite yakitori restaurant was Kamo Nishiki from Kamo Nishiki Sake Brewery! This time it was from the Kamofuda Sake Tank! It's rare to see Kafuda at this restaurant, and this is the first time I've seen the label, so I'm looking forward to it! So, let's have it right away! First, the aroma. I don't feel much aroma. When you put it in your mouth, it is easy to drink like water and has a gentle sweetness - it is still consistently delicious! The lingering aftertaste is also a gentle bitterness, so it is very easy to drink. It is so refreshing and yet has a strong umami flavor. The owner served us an earthenware pot with today's soup to warm our body and soul!

It has an unusual aroma, like apricot? I thought I felt sweetness when I put it in my mouth, but then I immediately felt a sourness. This is very sour. If you were served this without any explanation, you might not even know it was sake! It was perfect for today when I wanted a light drink, and I don't dislike it. This kind of thing is also good sometimes! It's sour, but it's easy to drink like a juice. Nigori The balance of the flavor remains the same, but the umami has increased a little and the acidity has subsided a little. Today my wife is going to Umeda to celebrate my birthday. We had lunch at Ishizuki, a handmade buckwheat noodle restaurant in Grand Front Osaka. The waitress was kind and we had a pleasant lunch! The third picture was brought to me by the waitress who guessed that I like Japanese sake! So, what I had at Ishizuki was my first sake brewery, Asamai Shuzo's Amano-no-do! This time it was Junmai Daiginjo 45! Let's have it right away! First, the aroma. It has a refreshing aroma with a hint of alcohol. When you put it in your mouth, you can feel the refreshing alcohol taste and sweetness, and it finishes nicely with a full-bodied flavor. There is also a sense of fruity flavor. The lingering aftertaste is clean, gentle and slightly bitter, and it is very easy to drink. It has a traditional sake taste, but also sweet and fruity, which is something I have not tasted recently, but it gives me a very beautiful impression. When paired with a meal, it also showed a crisp expression, making it a very tasty sake!

It's been a while since I've had a saké from Kangiku, and I've wanted to try it since I learned about it last year! I can't deny that I'm a little late to the party, but I'll have it right away! First, the aroma. The aroma is fruity, sweet, and refreshing. When you put it in your mouth, you can feel the chiri-chiri-ness. And the delicious, gentle sweetness is the best!
