This week has been a busy one. Here is what we opened on Tuesday, when we felt especially tired. AKABU by Akabu Shuzo! This time it was Yui no Kou! It's been a while since I've had a bottle of Akabu, so I'll have it right away. The first day First, the aroma. It smells crisp and fresh. When you put it in your mouth, you will feel a fruity sweetness and a salty taste. After the full-bodied taste, there is a refreshing spiciness and a lingering bitter aftertaste. The change of taste from fruity to bitter is very refreshing and delicious! My wife said, "This is fruity, isn't it? But it also feels sharp in the throat". The second day... The fruity taste has subsided, and I can feel the sweetness and richness. There is a lingering bitterness, which reminds me of grapefruit rind. I can clearly feel the sweetness and bitterness. However, I don't feel like drinking today. Day 3. I suddenly feel fruity. It seems so fresh that I wonder if I wasn't feeling well yesterday! It's a soy sauce ramen, but it's still delicious! I had a side of rare chicken chashu pork! It's delicious, isn't it? The sake for this weekend's chase was from our first brewery! Yokoyama Goju by Shigeke Shuzo! This time it's Aizan I was looking forward to it because I don't get to meet Nagasaki sake very often! Well, let's have it right away! The first day First, the aroma. It has a slightly sweet aroma. When you put it in your mouth, it goes from chili to a refreshing sweetness. Is it the aroma? It seems to have some lactic acid beverage taste. The gradation of bitter taste lingers in the mouth. This bitterness finishes the taste well. It is very drinkable and delicious! There is no unpleasant taste at all, and the more you drink it, the more delicious it becomes. The second day The chiri-chiri-ness is gone, and a beautiful sweetness and lactic acid drink-like aroma spread out. The bitterness is also much weaker, giving the impression of a softly sweet sake. The third drink at my favorite yakitori restaurant was a drunken whale from the Drunken Whale Brewery! This time it was Ginrei summer DRUNKEN WHALE! I haven't had a drink from Drunken Whale since their autumn sake. So, let's have it right away! First of all, the aroma. I don't feel much aroma. In the mouth, you feel a full-bodied flavor. After that, there is a slight sweetness and spiciness that is refreshing. It also has a fruity and bitter taste, making it a delicious sake that can be drunk smoothly. Is it rather dry? However, it is very easy to drink with its smoothness and umami flavor. The owner, the waitress, and I are going to travel to Korea next time, so what will we do today? I've had Enochi many times at my favorite yakitori restaurant, so I'm going to give it to Sandeshi for the sake comparison! By the way, the sake we are comparing is IMPRESSION TYPE-M! Let's start with the first one! First of all, let's take a look at the aroma. It has a sweet and refreshing aroma. When you put it in your mouth, you can feel the fresh and gentle sweetness. Then, a slight fruity taste. After that, the taste shifts to a gentle bitterness with a hint of richness. The lingering taste is also slightly sweet, fruity, and a little salty. I'm in the mood for drinking as early as Tuesday this week. So I had a hard time deciding what to drink, and I got this one at my first Takimoto's the other day! Yamasan by Yamasan Sake Brewery This is my first time to visit this brewery, and this time it was Aizan! I've been looking forward to drinking this Yamazan! So, without further ado, let's have it! The first day First, the aroma. It has a fruity aroma. When you put it in your mouth, it has a sour sweetness~. Fruity and very refreshing. I can feel a little chili on my tongue. The lingering bitterness is exquisite! There is a slight alcohol taste, but I felt it is a refreshing and delicious sake! This is too delicious - I really liked this sake! Day 2 Today, the fruity sweetness and bitterness spread out nicely from the beginning. The impression is milder than yesterday, but the balance of sweet and bitter fruity taste is the same. There is a sense of fullness and freshness that is better than the first day. By the way, it is delicious - too delicious - I like it very much! The lingering aftertaste is slightly spicy and bitter, and it finishes refreshingly! This has become one of my favorite bottles! I would like to try another Yamazan!

Today I cleaned up the outside of the house a few times a year and had a leisurely lunchtime drink with my wife. After lunch, my wife wanted to play tennis on the Switch, so we both worked up a sweat while yelling at each other, lol. Well, my accompaniment for this lunchtime drinking was Hana Yuu by Ryoseki Shuzo, a brewery I haven't had for a long time! This time it was Akita Sake Komachi! After wondering what to drink, I thought it would be a relaxing sweet sake, so I chose this one! So, let's have it right away! First, the aroma. It has a sweet and refreshing aroma. In the mouth, it is sweet and delicious. It is gorgeous, fruity, and juicy! Not only is it sweet and refreshing, but the bitter taste balances it out from the mid-palate and makes it delicious! I felt it was one of the sweetest and most delicious sake I have had recently! I have a sweet tooth, so I can enjoy it with food, but I think it is a sake that is more enjoyable on its own. Now that I've recharged myself with sake this weekend, I'll be ready to work hard tomorrow!

Here's what I had for such a late lunch! Kouei-Kiku by Kouei-Kiku Sake Brewery! This time it was Dusk Orange 2025! I got this at Takimoto on my way back from a day trip to Miyama Kayabuki-no-Sato with my parents. I was looking forward to drinking this sake, as it had been reviewed as delicious by many people in Sakegawa! So, let's have a saké right away! First, the aroma. It has a refreshing and clean aroma. In the mouth, it is very fruity. You can definitely feel the orange flavor. And the refreshing sweetness is irresistible! So far, there is no bitterness or pungency, but it is very refreshing and sharp. The lingering bitterness is even more refreshing. Delicious~! As other reviewers have said, it is a wonder how such a flavor can be created with sake ingredients! The low alcohol content makes it very easy to drink, but it is also juicy and satisfying, making for a very satisfying drinking experience!

This time it's Asahi Spring Yell! Since yesterday, we have been comparing it with Kotobukinmu! Let's start drinking! The first day First, the aroma. It has a fresh and clean aroma. When you put it in your mouth, the sweetness comes and then the fruity aroma escapes through your nose. Bliss! There is also a slight graininess. The finish is clean and smooth, with a soft lingering bitterness. This is a delicious sake! Personally, I feel that Kotobukinmu is drier and can be enjoyed with a gulp! The second day The fruity sweetness and refreshing bitterness on the palate make it easy to drink today as well! The lingering bitterness that comes in aftertaste is also good to balance it out. I want to go back to this store again! I'm sorry for the long introduction, but this weekend I had a bottle of Sono Kangiku by Kangiku Meikozo! This time it was "Kotobukinmu"! Let's start eating! The first day and the second day First, the aroma. It has a sweet and refreshing aroma. In the mouth, there is a refreshing sweetness with a strong sense of gas. It has a deep, fruity taste with a gentle bitterness that finishes nicely. The lingering aftertaste is a refreshing bitterness. There is also a little bit of fresh fruitiness. Bliss! The fifth drink at my favorite yakitori restaurant was Kankoume by Kankoume Shuzo! This time it was Junmai Ginjo! I was already very drunk, but I had another glass of Jikin as a last drink! Speaking of Kankoume, they have recently been serving cute animal labels, but this one has a sturdier label! Well, let's have it right away! First, the aroma. It has a fresh sweet aroma. When you put it in your mouth, you can feel the spiciness from the sweetness. It is well-balanced, not too sweet, and the smooth taste goes well with a meal. It has been a long time since I have been to my favorite yakitori restaurant. Today we mainly had skewers, but the excellent food, delicious sake, and cozy atmosphere as always soothed my withdrawal symptoms.

The fourth drink at my favorite yakitori restaurant, Tenbi by Choshu Shuzo! This time it was spicy tempura I told the owner that I wanted to try their spicy tempura before, and he remembered that and stocked it for me! Thank you so much! Let's start eating! First, the aroma. The aroma is not so strong. When you take a sip, the umami and slight sweetness is quickly followed by a spiciness that spreads in your mouth. However, it is very light, so the spiciness is not bothersome and it is a delicious sake that can be drunk without hesitation. I rarely drink dry sake at home, so it is nice to be able to drink it at a restaurant! It was very delicious!

The third drink at our favorite yakitori restaurant was Hanzo by Ota Shuzo! Hachitan Nishiki this time. This is the first time I've had this label, though it's the Ura Hanzo that the waiter recommended! So, let's have it right away. First, the aroma. It has a refreshing aroma. In the mouth, you can feel a soft sweetness from the umami flavor. The mouthfeel is very smooth, with a lingering dryness. This sake is also very delicious!

Second round of drinks at my favorite yakitori restaurant, Hachibei the Sake Shop by Motosaka Sake Brewery. This time it's 88 nights So, I'm going to have it right away! First, the aroma. The aroma is not so strong. In the mouth, the umami and spiciness are impressive! The mouthfeel is very beautiful. The lingering aftertaste is not too strong and pungent. The waiter told me that it was a little dry, but it was a very tasty sake with a strong umami and a refreshing feeling.
