A childhood friend's mother passed away, and this was one of the items in the gift. I have drunk a lot of Aizu sake, but this may be my first time to try their honjozo. A little sweet with a bitter aftertaste. Not bad. I drink it slowly in memory of my friend's mother, who had given countless lives as a midwife and was decorated with a medal.

Maybe for the first time? Sake from Shiga. I was attracted by the pop label, so I ordered it. It seems to be made from white malted rice, which is often used for shochu, but I couldn't tell without being told. (smiles) In a good way. It has a bitter-sweet taste and a sweet taste in the mouth.

In fact, I went to high school in Kitakata City. I was not good at sake at that time (at that time, drinking was allowed from the age of 16 in Fukushima prefecture. (I got a few bottles in Kitakata after all these years. This brewery must have been owned by a senior in my high school. The main thing is the taste. It has a piquant spiciness and a wine-like ginjo aroma that passes through the nose. The sweetness followed afterwards. This is delicious!
