I have been drinking Tanaka Rokuugo regularly since I learned about it at an izakaya in Fukuoka, but I had no idea there was a nama-shu ver, so I bought this one 💰.
It has a white grape-like aroma with a hint of sweetness, and since it is a nama-shu, it has more gas than the regular Tanaka Rokuugo.
Overall, it was a well-balanced sake that I never got tired of drinking 😊.

Fukuoka Prefecture is proud of its Tanaka Rokuugo junmai sake. Itoshima City is famous for its Yamada Nishiki. This sake with a rice polishing ratio of 65% comes from the rice paddies of the famous Yamada-Nishiki. The aroma is like that of top-grade rice or Kamishinko, followed by a fruity aroma attack like melon. It is a crisp and clean bottle. It is a junmai sake, but it is like a junmai ginjo sake, with elements of mellow sake and fresh sake. Anyway, it is suitable as a food sake. It is my favorite.

Tanaka Rokugo brews only one junmai sake. Sake that the Shiraito Brewery wants to share with the world. Sake that we really want to convey to the world. When I thought about it, the answer came naturally.
It is the hesitation that fades away, and the individuality that swells up becomes the future.

Tanaka Rokuugo Junmai Sake.
As I was leaving my current position for a new job, I received a variety of sake from my colleagues. I will gratefully accept them one by one, thinking that this is the result of our company's sake promotion activities.
The second bottle was a bottle of Tanaka Rokuugo from a colleague in Hakata.
As the name suggests, this sake is made from 65% polished Yamada-Nishiki produced in Itoshima, Fukuoka Prefecture, and gently pressed using the traditional Haneki Shibori method, which is used only by a few breweries in Japan.
It has an aroma of muscat and banana on the nose, and is very mild and soft on the palate. The mild sweetness of Yamada-Nishiki produced in Itoshima and its concentrated flavor spread out. This is another bottle that is perfect for drinking while eating, and one that you will want to keep drinking!
