The second drink at my favorite yakitori restaurant was drunken whale by Drunken Whale Shuzo!
This time it was Ginrei-shiboritate!
I'm looking forward to this one as it's also the first time I've had this label!
Let's have it right away!
First, the aroma. I don't really smell it.
When you put it in your mouth, you will feel the stimulation on your tongue, and then the spiciness will shift from the umami to the spiciness.
The lingering aftertaste is bitterness.
It is delicious!
It has a punchy, yet robust umami, with a sweetness in the back that makes you wonder if it's dry? It was so enjoyable that I thought it was dry!
My wife doesn't like strong sake. My wife is not a fan of strong sake, so she was a little disappointed after drinking it.
The rest of the lineup was the same as last time, so we finished with two glasses of Jikin's Omachi!
Today's dishes were also delicious, and we finished off the evening with somen noodles made from the soup that came with the soup... It was a blissful evening for my stomach and my heart!

Good morning, ma-ki-san!
I bet ramen noodles using soup from tsuke-dashi hot pot would be delicious 🍜🥰.
I imagine "drunk whale" would go well with "yakitori" [tare] [shio] as well ✨️

Thank you, Jive!
Yes, I was wondering what I would like to finish ⤴️ and the owner asked me if I wanted somen or zosui, so I decided on somen and it was outstanding 🤤.
As you said, the drunken whale went perfectly with the chicken dish 😋.
