I was looking forward to drinking "Ganki" for the first time in a long time and bought it immediately when I saw the 300 type on sale!
It's been 3 years and my heart is dancing🔥.
When I opened the bottle and poured it, there was a fruity and calm aroma of grapes and reddish purple fruits.
The mouthfeel is smooth and slippery. The taste is moist and round.
It has a fruity flavor with sweetness like apple or pear and astringent acidity like grapefruit, while exuding a delicate air.
The dryness of the spiciness and the rice-like umami come to the surface. It's a beautifully arranged lineup that flows smoothly and harmoniously ✨.
The quality of Ganki is "ah...this and that"!
It is a brand that I have a lot of feelings for, as it was posted on the second day of the start of Sake no Wa 😌.
Last day of my trip back to Yamaguchi 😀.
We started our visit with Ganki-san 😀.
Since there was no tasting at this brewery, the picture is of hiyaoroshi that we had last night at a local izakaya 😀 Luckily, it was a sealed bottle 😅.
Lucky for us, it was sealed 😅.
It was a delicious food sake with the mellowness of hiyaoroshi that matched with the meal 😀.
In case you are wondering, the brewery didn't have a limited edition sake so I bought a Junmai Daiginjo 😇.
Exchange item with chikumo 😁.
It's a limited edition from a store in Shimonoseki 😆.
I got it last year and drank it.
It's still delicious!
It has a freshness to it.
It's fresh and has a nice sharpness!
I drank it all up👍
I went to takimoto and there was just a gooseberry tasting.
They were selling a limited-edition ogara-mi for fall, which will be sold nationwide next week.
They said it was aged for 6 months, so I guess it's a hiyaoroshi concept 🤔.
I drank
Junmai Daiginjo Oorigarami Unfiltered Nama Sake
Fruity, sweet and delicious. One of the best Ganki I've ever had 😋.
Junmai Ginjo Oorigarami Unfiltered Nama-Genshu
More refreshing than the Jun Dai. Slightly less sweet.
Might be good during dinner.
Junmai Oorigarami Unfiltered Nama-genshu
Strong rice flavor. Slightly spicy?
It has an atmosphere similar to that of junmai junmai written in kanji (Chinese characters) as "ganki".
Junmai hiyaoroshi
Mild flavor like slightly ripe fruit.
It is better to drink it at room temperature or lukewarm than chilled.
Minakage Junmai Daiginjo
Yamadanishiki rice polished to 35%.
A clean and elegant ginjo aroma with a hint of sweetness.
It has the taste of a very high quality sake.
The name "Minakagtari" is often used for sake, isn't it?
Asakayousei has it too!
I have a good impression of this label's Ganki because I enjoyed Ganki's Tankade at the Sannomiya Off-line Meeting in April.
It is said that it has been served on ANA international first class flights. Both the aroma and the feeling of drinking it are mellow, as only a daiginjo can be. The sweetness, umami, and richness are well balanced and very delicious.
It is mellow on the palate and has a sense of maturity.
It has a gentle sharpness for a ganki, and is a sake to be drunk slowly.
Serve with macaroni salad.
