This is a memorandum of my visit to "Koujin" in Koi, which I learned from a senior who loves Japanese sake.
I went to "Koujin" in Koi, which was told to me by a senior sake lover.
This restaurant offers an all-you-can-drink sake bar for 2,000 yen per hour 🤩.
I didn't have much time today, so I asked for a single drink.
The first cup was "Choukyu", which, as the name suggests, is super dry, but it contains the umami of rice and goes well with a meal.
It seems to be a sake that surpasses "Chokyu" which has been loved for a long time 🍶.
I bought this after getting a stamp from Wakayama Castle and enjoying fishing and swimming in Tanoura.
It's a little bad to say, but it's a wildly delicious sake from the countryside.
Sake to drink at my grandfather's house while chewing mezashi.
Delicious.
If you are tired of the delicate elegance of the recent past, you should try this sake.
This is the local sake I used to drink a lot in the old days.
The level of the cat asking for coldness between the pictures.
It's hot again this year.
I almost went to bed when I forgot to turn it up.
Amazingly water, said the waitress.
Contain it...surely this is...no longer water?
The texture is quite watery.
However, the rice flavor is not dry, but rather a grain-like texture.
Sourness and bitterness are also lightly present.
The finish is crisp. Super light.
Not bad. In fact, it's good.

Chokyu Junmai Ginjo "Chokyu" Bizen Omachi, which I have had in the past.
This class is my favorite.

This is the second bottle I bought when I went to Wakayama to see the cherry blossoms.
It is the opposite of the earlier junmai ginjo, sweet and mellow 🍶🍶😊.
But the aftertaste is surprisingly refreshing and easy to drink, and it seems to be suitable for women 🍶😄.
Today, I enjoyed a glass of wine with a side dish of pickled sea bream that I bought on a day trip to Fukui Prefecture 🍶🍶😂.
