Kamo Nishiki Ginjo
A New Year's gift for my aunt who doesn't drink.
A series of small bottles for my aunt.
I always appreciate it when she brings me sake that I would never buy myself.
This year, it was Kamonishiki, a little different in taste.
But the key point is that the date is 2023.07...
I will have it cold.
The color is clear with a hint of yellow.
The top aroma is mild and not much.
In the mouth, it flows smoothly onto the tongue and has a clean and clear mouthfeel without much flavor.
After swallowing, a dark, bitter flavor emerges, followed by a significant bitter and astringent aftertaste, which disappears along with the alcohol.
It doesn't feel like it has aged well, but it does have a slightly twisted flavor.
I would like to try a newer one.
Ingredients: rice (domestic), rice malt (domestic), brewers' alcohol
Rice polishing ratio: 50% for koji rice, 60% for kake rice
Alcohol content: 15%.
Rice: Omachi produced in Okayama Prefecture
Polishing ratio 50%.
Alcohol content 13%.
It has a strong flavor that does not feel like it is 13% alcohol.
Sweet fruity, but,
As it says "light", it is a little less sweet.
The fruity aroma spreads in the mouth and the taste is refreshing.
The aroma is similar to that of Toyo Bijin.
It tastes like a lighter version of Toyo Bijin with less sweetness.
Alcohol content: 15%.
Polishing ratio: Koji rice 50%, Kake rice 60
Koji rice: 100% Yamadanishiki
It is delicious! Today I drink it chilled.
It contains brewer's alcohol, but it's just so crisp and dry, it's a dangerous sake that goes down easy.
relatively low alc at 14% but manages to be rich and dep flavor with satisfying sweetness and umami. Especially 2 days after opening it becomes richer. 4.50/5
For drinking at home on a 3-day weekend.
It has a very fruity aroma and is easy to drink, but it also has a strong umami flavor. My family, who likes sweet sake, loved it. The freshness of the freshly squeezed flavor made it easy to drink, and in no time at all we ran out of the four-pack. It was delicious!
Tako-Sashi (octopus sashimi with shiso leaves and lemon)
Packaged Sake Junmai Daiginjo Misato Nishiki
Raw material rice: 80% Misato Nishiki produced in Oogata Village, Akita Prefecture
Polishing ratio 50%.
Alcohol content 14
Packaged sake that also comes from a preconceived notion that sake rice Aiyama is delicious.
Easy to drink, with a sweet flavor that is very easy to drink 🍶.
I've been meaning to get a bottle of Tsukihaku, which is known for its dry and clear taste, but the stores don't have it due to bad timing...
I hope to drink it this year!
It's been a long time since I've had a cargo tag liquor 🏷️🍶❣️
It's a stable taste 😋.
Gently sweet, with a nice sourness and bitterness in the aftertaste‼️
Easy to drink and I love it😍.
