Today was the last day of work. At any rate, we drank delicious sake.
I chose this sake as a birthday present for my second daughter's husband. I also bought one for myself.
It has a fruity aroma and sweetness followed by sourness. I also drank it warmed. The sweetness was more pronounced and the taste was more balanced.
I bought it for my own birthday.
Hi Jay & Nobby. I always read your posts.
I drink it every night and I feel like I'm on vacation and I can relax and enjoy it.
I chose this sake as a gift and was relieved to see that it actually tasted good the first time I drank it.
And another bottle opened this week!
Since there have been a lot of posts about delicious nigori sake lately, I'm going to try a nigori sake today!
So today I opened my first bottle of Tenjo Yumegen by Nakayuu Shuzoten, a new brewery to me!
This time it was nigori sake!
This sake was served at the sake festival held at the Keihan Moriguchi Department Store the other day.
We also had this sake at the Kaku-uchi (corner shop) and it was delicious!
Let's have it right away!
Sumi Sake
First, the aroma. It has a fresh aroma with a slight yogurt-like flavor.
The sweetness is well balanced by the full-bodied flavor, and the taste is refreshing and clean.
It is not too sweet, but it is a rare sweetness, but I like it and it is easy to drink.
Nigori
Not much aroma.
The overall balance is very good, with a silky mouthfeel, a gentle sweetness, a full-bodied taste, a nigori flavor, and a slight bitterness.
However, as you continue drinking, it becomes a little sticky around the lips.
Warmed to lukewarm.
The spiciness and bitterness have become stronger while the silky texture remains the same.
It is also delicious with a sense of umami and alcohol.
There are many ways to enjoy nigori sake!
Today's sake was great, too!
Hi ma-ki 😃
The nigori of Tenjo Yumegen also looks delicious 😍I guess it is quite a thick nigori that is sticky ✨I hope you tried the clear sake and the lukewarm sake and enjoyed the various changes in taste👍.
Hi, ma-ki-chan 😀
I really enjoy drinking nigori where you can enjoy it in many different ways with one bottle 😀.
Unfortunately, it is concentrated during this season, so there are many nigori that are undrinkable 🤣.
Hi ma-ki-, 🌧️ this is another cute little silhouette bottle that looks delicious 🤤I stocked up on sake again even though my fridge is full 🍶and it's nigori 😆 this time of year it's nigori ✨️
Thank you, ichiro18!
Silky? I liked it so much that I even gifted it to a friend at the time 😋.
It was very rich with a lot of lees 🎵.
Thanks to Sake-no-wa, I learned a lot about how to enjoy it and it's great!
Thank you, Yasube!
I'm really enjoying learning how to enjoy the sake thanks to everyone here at Sake no Wawa 🎵.
Yes, it's a pity that even Yasubeyesan, the hunter, can't drink some sake, so he has to concentrate on it 😅.
Thank you Nao888!
The bottle form is adorable😍.
Oh my, you've stocked up again 😁✨✨.
I bought too many bottles before the nigori and I have about one more to go😅.
Looking forward to your nigori sake post 🤗
Thank you Kano!
I agree with you 🎵
It's fun to look at Sake no Wa and see so many sakes that I didn't know existed and find one that I might like there😍.
This nigori is rich and delicious 😋.
Alcohol content: 15%.
Rice polishing ratio: 60
Too bad the label is blurry.
Barley? Nuts? A fragrant aroma.
Immediately after taking a sip, the aromatic flavor is followed by a delicious rice flavor!
It is like a tightening.
The syrupy sweetness is followed by a light acidity.
The sharpness is smooth without being too heavy.
It gives the impression of a simple food sake.
Taste: 3.5/5
Miyagi rice, 60% polished rice
It is said to be "umakuchi" and is served warm.
The aroma is soft and sweet rice flavor. It has a wagashi (Japanese confectionery) feel, reminiscent of refined shiratama flour or daifuku (rice cake).
In the mouth, the full rice flavor with a hint of sourness can be felt. Then, a banana feeling and a slight bitterness appear and rise.
The lingering finish is complex and well-balanced, with the spiciness and bitterness producing a good sharpness.
It is outstandingly good at room temperature or warmed up. I can drink it endlessly! I'll keep drinking it....
It's so good!
Classical sake-like aroma with a slight fruity note.
In the mouth, one senses strong acidity and umami.
The sweetness is moderate. It also has a slightly fruity taste.
There is a slight bitterness in the aftertaste, and the lingering taste is long and robust.
4/5
It was sold at NewDays in Sendai, and I didn't expect that much, but when I tried it, it was quite tasty.
It has a nice flavor and sweetness to it.
It is a cheap sake, but it is a hit.
It's very spicy, says the master.
The label image doesn't suit me.
The aroma is mellow.
The aroma is round and slightly herbal.
The mouthfeel is slightly light and smooth.
It has a smooth sweetness that is typical of hiyaoroshi.
The spiciness is pungent, and when swallowed, it is quite pungent indeed.
It is tight and sharp.
Aromatic, spicy, hot, and delicious!
It goes well with stewed root vegetables.
Degree of liking ☆ 3.5/5
The type of sake seems to be the same as Kikuhime's nigori sake, with sakekasu (sake lees) ground up and mixed with clear sake.
It has a slightly sweet taste and smells of alcohol. There is nothing special to note about the aroma or taste, and in short, it is not particularly tasty. In short, it is not particularly tasty, at least not impressive.
Kikuhime's nigori sake is delicious.
