This week is our wedding anniversary week, so we opened a bottle of Mutsu Hachisen from Hachinohe Shuzo, which we have not been able to open for a while!
This time it was the 250th anniversary bottle!
It's been a while since we've had a bottle of Mutsu Hachisen, so we're looking forward to it! I'm looking forward to it!
Let's enjoy it right away!
The first day
First, the aroma. It has a fresh and sweet aroma.
In the mouth, there is a refreshing umami and a hint of sweetness.
After that, the taste shifts to a full-bodied sensation, and the lingering aftertaste is a firm bitterness.
I don't know what it is about the bitterness, but it is easy to drink and tastes good.
However, after the second cup or so, it started to feel heavy and I got tired of drinking it.
Maybe I wasn't feeling well.
Fourth day.
Chili, alcohol and fruity? Sweetness and sourness? Various tastes are rushing in at once!
The bitter aftertaste lingers in the mouth.
The aftertaste is quite long, and the astringency and bitterness are so strong that it is different from a simple refreshing taste... I have the impression that my stupid tongue has exceeded the limit of catching the taste.
There's a strong bitterness even when it's served with a meal.
I like the lingering bitterness, but I personally prefer a more gentle bitterness.
But even with that, it was a delicious sake!
