It seems to have gained momentum😅.
The third bottle tonight was OCEAN99🍶, which is also my son-in-law's favorite "Sono Kangiku" and his wife is interested in.
My son-in-law seems to prefer the general ⁉️ type of Sono Kangiku,
The wife is a fan of the OCEAN series, and they are a bit of a pain in the ass 🤣...
Tonight, I chose the OCEAN series and will open the bottle with momentum.
The aroma is... fruity 🥰.
The taste is... surprisingly not as sweet as the aroma suggests, but a gentle sweetness.
Both of us were unanimous in saying "Unmai"...it was worth bringing along 😌.
As a matter of course, it turned into an empty bottle 🫣.
Everyone was feeling drunk, even though we drank quite a bit, and it was a delicious drinking party 🥰.
I'll have to consider my choice of drinks for the next drinking contest 💦.
Kangiku's Monochrome
This is a very limited series of Junmai Daiginjo Unfiltered Nama-shu.
This year, too, I couldn't buy it because my freezer was full (for the nth time), and I was thinking I'd have to wait until next year to buy it, but Matsuzaki saved me again 🥰.
The aroma is fresh and refreshing with a fruity aroma of pineapple and melon that softly wafts through the nose 😋.
The taste is juicy and full of flavor and sweetness, not to mention the mouthfeel, and it lingers in the back of your throat with a slightly carbonated, tangy acidity 😆✨.
The sake is sweet with a sake level of -6 to 7, but I didn't care about that and forced myself to pair it with gibier sausage!
It somehow goes well with it 🦌.
I thought it was a little too sweet on the first day, but on the second day, I felt a fresh sharp bitterness after the sweetness, and I think I prefer this one.
Kangiku intoxicating brew - Kangiku
Junmai Daiginjo Unfiltered Nama-shu
OCEAN99 Starlight Sea
Acid Yogurt-like aroma with a hint of sourness at the beginning.
It is sweet and sour, with a clear, crisp taste that makes you want to drink more and more of it.
Pineapple-like peach aroma and gentle sweetness with a subtle alcohol aftertaste and bitterness.
I like this one better than the Monochrome I had the other day.
Kankiku Occasional Monochrome
A super-limited Occasional series focusing on unfiltered, unfiltered sake brewed only once a year.
Mr. Yanagishita, the toji, originally worked as an aircraft mechanic for JAL at Narita Airport, but his attachment to his hometown of Chiba and his desire to do work that only he could do led him to the sake brewing industry. After joining Kangiku Meikozo in the beer brewing department, he was selected to be the toji (master brewer), despite his lack of experience, when the previous master brewer retired. He initially trained under his predecessor and is now in charge of sake brewing as a toji.
The name "Kangiku" is said to have come from the appearance of Kangiku (chrysanthemums that bloom in winter), which bloom strongly and beautifully even in the coldest season.

Chronicle Junmai Daiginjo Ken'aizan Orikagarami Unfiltered Nama-shu from Kangiku Meizou.
Sake rice "Tsurugi Aiyama" is produced in Mima City, Tokushima Prefecture, using "Aiyama" as a seed.
This sake rice is rarely seen, and this is the second brewery after Miyazumi Meizumi Brewery, which brews "Sharaku".
The core of the taste is the refreshing effervescence and sweetness unique to nama-shu, and the beauty of the lingering aftertaste.
The quality of the sake has been further improved since last year, and the brewery is also highly praised for its high level of perfection.

Purchased at Fukushima Sake Shop
Purchased this when I went to Fukushima to buy some sake 💰.
I had given this Hoshikai as a birthday gift to a friend in the past, but never drank it myself 🤔, so I bought it 🍶.
The description already sounds delicious, doesn't it?
I immediately opened the bottle 🍶 It's delicious 😋.
The aroma and moist sweetness are very delicious 😋The taste is more sweet than juicy🤔What would you call it if I were to describe it in terms of fruit? Like a fresher persimmon?
The acidity is moderate, and it is quite rare to find a summer sake with this kind of flavor. ☀️
I feel this mellow sweet taste is the reason why I like Kangiku so much: ☺️
Thank you for everything 😊.
Thank you for your hospitality.
I was just thinking that it would be fun to have a drinking party to compare the OCEAN99 series!
It would take me a year to get them all 😂.
Hello, chilled tomatoes!
Hoshikai-san, I remember receiving this sake at my first Kangiku and became a fan of Kangiku, it is a really delicious sake 😋.
It would be fun to compare OCEAN99 series drinks 🤤🤤.

The elegant aroma of muscat and white flowers on the nose, the freshness of the slight effervescence, and the freshness typical of a light nigori sake are captivating.
The sweetness is subdued, and the acidity creates a framework, making the most of Sounomai's transparency for a juicy, crisp taste.
While retaining the flavor of unfiltered sake, it has a light aftertaste and a modern beauty that is typical of Kangiku.

The nose has a sweet melon aroma and a slight alcohol taste.
When it hits the palate, a rich sweetness spreads. It has a sweetness of rice like amazake, melon, and a little bit of pineapple. Toward the finish, there is a slight bitterness like the aftertaste of cider or soda water. The finish fades out like water.
Drinking it by itself, it is just sweet. In a bad way, it is like melon syrup. It's like a Jyushiyo type. Personally, I thought it was too sweet. But it is very tasty when you drink it little by little.
