It's the first day of the week and I'm in the mood for a drink.
But I wanted something light.
I found the perfect drink for such a day!
So I started the week with a prototype from a new brewery, Murashige Sake Brewery!
I didn't hesitate to reach out for this sake on a trip to Yamaguchi when I saw that it was sold only at a direct sales outlet!

Sumi Sake
First, the aroma. It has an unusual aroma, like apricot?
I thought I felt sweetness when I put it in my mouth, but then I immediately felt a sourness.
This is very sour.
If you were served this without any explanation, you might not even know it was sake!
It was perfect for today when I wanted a light drink, and I don't dislike it.
This kind of thing is also good sometimes!
It's sour, but it's easy to drink like a juice.
Nigori
The balance of the flavor remains the same, but the umami has increased a little and the acidity has subsided a little.
There is also a lingering bitterness like rind, which makes a slight difference, but I prefer the cloudy version.
