We visited the Sake Festival at Ojin Shrine. Sake brewers attend the festival to pray for the safety and success of the brewing process. Since there are many places to visit at Ojin Shrine I decided to pay my respects. At the Miwa Densetsu Kura, a newly built brewery on the approach to the shrine, we drank freshly pressed 60% Yamada Nishiki. I drank freshly pressed Yamada-Nishiki 60. The moment I put it in my mouth, I felt a slight effervescence. The taste was refreshing. The full flavor of Yamada-Nishiki was delicious. It was on sale from the 20th, so it was impossible to purchase.

I visited the Ojin Shrine on the day of the Sake Festival. I would never go alone. I would never go alone, but since I was with Mr. Uma Uma Uma, I went with him. We walked along the Yamanobe trail from Ookami Shrine to Motoise Hinohara Shrine for about 20 minutes. We enjoyed Nara's autumn scenery to the fullest. At a store near the shrine, we had the sake sold as a set with eggs to be offered to Mr. Mi🐍 heated up and took a break with some mugwort rice cakes. I was tired, so the simple taste that enveloped me was soothing.

I went to Gifu to buy Rihei chestnuts🌰. We had to arrive in the morning because they would sell out quickly if we didn't get there early. My husband drove as hard as he could. I asked him to make a little detour, I asked him to stop by at Tomikuya, the Sugihara Sake Brewery Retail Department in Imi. He told me that he did not sell Imi. Well, I had no expectations. I was very satisfied just to be able to purchase Ibigawa. We were also able to purchase 2k g of magnificent chestnuts at a reasonable price. It was difficult to process the chestnuts, but we were able to make chestnut rice and chestnut kinton (one for my husband and one for me with rum). I am glad that I could make a lot of them. Ibigawa is a well-balanced sake that is refreshing but has the flavor of rice. It feels drier than Imi. I like the taste. On the second day, the umami seems to have increased. I ended up drinking too much 🤣. I also dropped by Chiyobo Inari Shrine ⛩️ in Gifu for the fourth time. It is unique to buy fries and candles on the approach to the shrine and offer them in the precincts to pray. It is a unique way of praying. ☺️

I bought it at Senboku Takashimaya when I saw the limited edition letters. I looked up the blended liquor, Junmai Omachi (with white malted rice): The base of umami and acidity. Junmai Ginjo Gohyakumangoku: Sharp and sharp. Junmai Daiginjo Yamadanishiki (5BY: Adds elegant aroma and depth. The description was "a very elegant aroma and adds depth. However, I could not clearly understand the characteristics of each 😂. It is very easy to drink because it has umami, acidity, and a full-bodied flavor in the mouth. I was very happy when I paired it with a tsukkimaki made from the offal I bought at the Sakai Tuna Park. I felt happy.

This bottle was purchased at a brewery on Awaji Island. It has an alcohol content of 14%, but it is quite dry with a refreshing acidity. I think it is perfect as a food sake that goes well with both Japanese and Western food. The amount of sandeshi was just right.

I tasted a variety of sake at Takashimaya and found it to be very unique, so I purchased it. It is a one-of-a-kind sake that is created by chance through the workings of unpredictable microorganisms. The sake is made using yellow malted rice for shochu (distilled spirit). The yellow color is eye-catching when poured into a glass. The unique aroma is a mixture of lactic acid aroma and fruity aroma, which I don't like. The taste is more acidic than sake. It tastes like drinking white wine, which is addictive. I don't dislike it, but my husband who tasted it said it was not his favorite taste😅. On the second day, the acidity has settled down.

It has been a long time since I have posted. It's almost time to eat oden🍢. I made more because I was taking it to my mother's house. The combination of well-cooked daikon radish and the natural sweetness of Kame-no-o rice gave it a satisfying flavor. The oily taste of the beef tendon was refreshed by the sharpness of the sake that came afterwards, and I ended up eating too much. I ate too much. I don't mind the weight gain anymore 😤.

I went to the Japanese Sake Festival. At the venue, Uma-san and Yasube-san were there as staff members. Both of them were very cool. There was a long line for "Saku". We were allowed to line up and sample various kinds of sake. I really liked the mellow flavor of IMPRESSION-M (M for Megumi no Tomo of Enochi). The IMPRESSION-G (G of Genochi no Tomo no G) was I didn't like it because of its acidity.

At Yotterette, a direct produce market in Wakayama, Japan. I went to three markets to buy chestnuts and persimmons. I went to three produce markets and bought chestnuts🌰 and persimmons; I went in early October, so the persimmons did not seem to be in season yet. I was happy to see that the fish was cheap and fresh. I received saba-zushi (mackerel sushi) as a gift from Kyoto, so I decided to match the Pacific Ocean at Sandesi. It has a clear and refreshing taste. It had a refreshing taste, but it also had a delicious flavor that went well with the mackerel sushi. Sake from Wakayama with mackerel sushi from Kyoto. Not bad.

Olive oil 🫒 to go with the kamaboko. My son gave me this as a gift, but it didn't come with the kamaboko from Suzuhiro, so I didn't get a chance to taste it until later. Purchased at the Takashimaya Sake Festival. In the fall, I want to drink Yonetsuru. It has a clear dry taste with a good umami. It has a good umami taste. It contains raw Akutobata fish. I decided to have lunch, attracted by the "raw akuto fish in it". It was just after the lunch break, so I asked for yamori without hesitation. The last Expo I visited several times was the last one I was able to go to with Mr. Umai. Otters were quietly displayed and sold next to the Austrian Pavilion's concession stand. The musical score on the label 🎼. He explained that the sake was brewed while listening to Johann Schüttlaus' "Waltz on the Cove". Afterwards, I was lucky enough to be allowed to taste it. Alcohol content: 15 degrees Celsius Rice polishing ratio: 23 Delicate Clear and transparent taste typical of Otters. It is interesting to see how the music influences the taste 🎵.

This is the first Murayu I was able to drink at home. Unlike its image, it has a free-spirited taste with sweet and sour flavors that spread lightly. It is like a wine. On the second day, it has a softness like a pear, and the yankiness felt on the first day seems to have calmed down. The taste was unexpected for me, but I would like to repeat it. The locally grown peanuts 🥜 that I buy every year at the JA's weekly vegetable sale turned out to be delicious. Boiled in salt went well with Murayu.

The Sennenichi Sake Brewery in Awaji City, the hometown of Hanshin Tigers player Chikamoto, was a stop on a one-day bus tour from the local community association. His mother works at the brewery. There were many goods of Chikamoto's in the brewery. If we had not been in a group, we could have tasted the sake more slowly. It is a pity. We bought a limited quantity of hiyaoroshi. I bought it. It is strong, rich and dry. I liked its rich umami. It is the perfect sake to go with the autumn swordfish. I participated in this bus trip for the first time because I was playing a role in the community association, and I was glad to have met sake that I did not know about. It was good.

I received this from a friend in Hiroshima as a birthday gift. It is a very great drunken heart. It is a slightly dry, mellow sake with a gorgeous green apple-like aroma and a delicious deep flavor at 17 degrees alcohol by volume. I am thankful that I don't buy it myself.

It has a nice balance of sweetness, thickness, and a hint of sourness. It is easy to drink and delicious. It is light with a slight gaseous feeling. The day before my husband's birthday, we had a joint birthday party in Kyoto. My mother and husband share the same birthday, but this year my sister celebrated her birthday with my mother, so for the first time in a long time, my husband and I spent time together. We had wine without sake for dinner. The next day we went to Matsuo-taisha shrine, which is famous as the "god of sake brewing. I would be happy if I could drink good sake all the time. Back home, I opened a bottle of this sake I bought at the Takashimaya Sake Festival. I tasted many different kinds and liked it. It has a fruity aroma despite the retro label. It reminds me of white wine. I liked the balance of firm rice flavor, acidity and sweetness. On the second day, the fruity part of the aroma calmed down, and the overall roundness of the wine brought out the full flavor of the rice. I think this is the first time I have tasted Shiga Watabune No. 2 sake rice.
